That moment you've got too many rp ideas floating in your head, but you don't want to overwhelm yourself? Yeah... I'm right there, suffering in silence.

RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

That amazing high when you realized how far you've come in improving your writing. It's impossible to describe, but drowns you in a positive glow.

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

My fighters are usually either elementals of some sort or fighters given eternal life in exchange for servitude.

Keep them away from Trixi's world, that's not hard for the demons of that world especially minor ones. But there's a terrible catch...

The latter I am currently working into my roster of Tarot fighters, one of whom is the Emperor, who's currently in this tournament.

I'm planning to write 22 characters for the 22 cards in the major arcana of the Tarot. One for each arcana.

Never created PCs that had a theme, though I did consider making Jacer's brother into a low tier fighter since the transformation would've made his body into metal and a nice Enslaved being. (Bio-machine creatures created by a virus thanks to the Dyne, an alien race invading their world)

You pretty much get to choose how that goes down. I'm not enforcing any special rules in that regard, but it could be interesting for RP purposes, even for the short interactions that might take place before/within fights. Heck, you could even try changing your characters' fighting style a bit... basically I'm willing to give you some freedom there. It's less of a constraint, and more of an opportunity.

So, it's more of a story element. Well, then my idea will work as I was aiming on Trixi (if she is ever beaten) being able to silence the massive voice collection though fighting. So, thanks for clarifying that up.

Wait, one more day for what? The tournament rounds aren't that quick, are they? Or is this just an issue between those two?

@FallenreaperMy favourite characters are acrobatic knife-jugglers.

Or my main & signature character, Chimera, who has metal cestus shaped like a lion & ram.

Characters with unique fighting styles!

I've not played enough fighters for me to have a specific type and so I try to make a few different ones, namely to see which I like better and variety really. However, I currently like the boxer/duck and weave types a little more so far.

My favorite PCs are ones who are creative and work by the moment. For some reason I love reading and playing them in various RPs. I also like PCs with a lot of history and layers, mainly as you tend to see those layers unfold through various stages/experiences in a fight or story.

Speaking of layers, @Drifting Pollen your OP mentioned being driven insane by the voices when you are defeated? How are we suppose to exactly play that or is that free game for creativity rights? I'm more or less curious really, as well as had an interesting idea on it.

You and Doc are in a close-range brawl, Melon and Chimera are likewise going head-to-head, though with more weaponry involved in their case. Both getting pretty intense already!

Shiden and Fallen are just getting started, making some initial attacks.

Vordak and Scarifar haven't started their fight yet, they have one more day... the thread is up, though, so hopefully they're close.

Both @ShidenBlades's Nicoli and Trixi have their own little tricks and dubbed in the some of the same things so the match up should be good now that we're actually able to clash. My only concern is making a foolish mistake and getting me DQ because I didn't know better. If we actually manage to finish this fight, it would be my first officially public match that ended up actually ending. Win or lose, I will actually be happy to see that happen.

In order to avoid meta-playing, I've not been reading the actual IC too much as I don't want that to influence Trixi. However, when the tourney is over, I do aim to read up on them and enjoy the match from start to end.

Also, since everyone is so evenly matched in this round that reminds me of a thought: what would interesting pairings, other than what has happened, would you think might be fun to see go head to head? And why?

Other topics to think about are: what are your favorite types of fighters? As in morals, character types to tactics or fighting style?

*pauses in her rambling and goes 'Oops'*

I said (and you quoted in the OP) that "The stream is about ten feet wide at its widest, which is where the bridges cross." The bridges will thus be about ten feet in length, maybe eleven (since there's some overlap with the banks). Given the stated size of the trunks, they should be more than sturdy enough to hold both fighters at once... and since neither of these two characters rely on heavy weapons or armor, I doubt the weight limit would come into play.

Hope that helps :)

I did forget to look, meh. Though the reason I asked, the longest bridge appears to be at an angle and overlaps the bridge at the ends. I would imagine that changes the dimensions some, though not by much. So, I had to check again to be sure. Thank you.

Got to keep an eye on the competition

Sure, ya are. :p Well, I wish you good Luck on your match and hope you're enjoying the show.
I didn't get it, most likely cause I haven't seen it.

^This....
@Fallenreaper

That isn't a problem, Im sure I actually read that in the rules.... Well shame on me haha.

My main worries is the whole extra sensory idea.

It happens to us all, I did it recently in an arena match.

Well, we have blind PC played by @Sento who uses ESP which allows her to 'see' electrical bio signals. It's like what Platypuses have which allow them to find food in dark, murky water. He could likely feel the wind and use it too as an extra sense when he got better. However, I need to officially read everything and get feed back from the other GMs fist.
@Fallenreaper

Working up my reply now. Have a couple questions, just to make sure we both have the same image in mind.

Trixi threw the dagger with her left hand, then stepped in with her right foot and swung with her right hand at Nicoli's left thigh with the batton. At the same time she is attacking with her right hand her left hand went back to grab onto her other baton and brought it forth for use?

All correct up to the last part, she has merely put it on ready to defend or attack. Currently on iPhone so give me an hour or three and I'll return the ball after your reply. So far we seem to be on the same page which is good.
@Fallenreaper Yup. Sounds good.

You're up.

Again, I can't stress this enough, I'm still learning. If I make a mistake or you don't understand what I'm attempting to do, let me know then I will clarify it as best as I can when I get online. Most of this stuff is what I'm researching and trying to use as much common sense as possible with each reply, so part of the reason it takes me a while. I was watching youtube to make sure I was describing it right. So..yeah, physics are a pain.

Btw, it's most likely she would have her left foot out in front of her right when she strikes out with her baton and when she crouched down a bit, she's a few inches shorter then she is when fully upright. I would say about 3 inches at least. This way she keeps her balance while on that narrow ass log which I again, assume is slick as goose crap almost. Which I think I forgot to mention that in the post since we don't have a log length so it might seem like I made it shorter than I should've... XD

One more thing, @MelonHead, @Doc Doctor, @Vordak. I see you peeping toms!
Trixi’s mind had likened his emotionless, black eyes to that of a murderous werewolf. His taste for blood was unable to be quenched as he only lived for the next new murder to satisfy him, his humanity dulled over time until nothing was left. Inside she partly pitied such creatures for giving into what their instincts demanded. Forcing her to put him down like a sickly, mangy and useless mutt who gorged himself long enough on misery.

It was time to get to work.

She had made sure her arm was slipped through the strap. In her past ignorance, this little flaw had resulted in her getting disarmed far too often and she knew if it happened this time, she was dead. Her boots scraped on the edge and wiped away excess mud then widened her stance. She would have to find her balance fast when she pulled this move, her mind not liking the extra work but her body would have little difficulty in managing it.

Without wasting more breathe on what was becoming a pointless conversation, Trixi said one final thing before she began. “I think you should know, my name’s Trixi…”

Meanwhile, she had shifted the knife blade carefully, gripping it in the traditional holding position to throw it. Suddenly, at the end of her words she raised her blade over her shoulder then shot it forward. It wasn’t intended to be a powerful attack but a distraction, however if it did hit then she wanted it at full power. Her left foot stepped onto the wooden bridge dead center when her arm moved at her target. It brought her figure closer to Nicoli’s position as her body slightly twisted to apply power behind the attack, careful to keep her wrist straight. Trixi’s eyes had estimated the distance earlier and adjusted her aim a little higher to where she targeted. If it wasn’t stopped than it would hit the man’s throat easily.

When the blade left her hand, her right hand jerked her baton off her belt and snapped it open. Her right foot lifted from the mud and passed the left one that was firmly planted, just to follow the leading kunai. Trixi was on the offense as she lowered her body a bit for balance, hearing the wood creak while she was navigating along the bridge.

If she wasn’t interrupted, she slightly shifted her weight back when she came into his person space, close enough she could easily smack him with the upper third portion of her weapon. This was to keep her from colliding with her opponent. Normally, she could come to a stop on a dime, but the water made it much harder and she had to account for that. On her trip to cut the distance, she was slipping her arm into the ready strap and jerking her other baton free into an offense mode like her other one. Next her right hand lashed out her baton, her aim at where she assumed was the man’s lower left thigh while her left was brought up near her head's level. In addition, she was already prepared to jerk back or lean forward depending on the outcome.
