I agree with what NMS and NN have said. Having large monsters roaming around in a setting that is, with some exceptions, much like out own world not make much sense because it would not mirror our own reality. Sure, you could try to make an argument against superhumans, but in this roleplay, the awareness of superhumans have only been a recent one. Therefore, it is an "what if" scenario asking the question about how the world would be like if superhumans existed.

To be clear, I'm not arguing about the denial of a PC. The only reason I mentioned this was mainly as you both kept reminding with your replies that this was a superhero rp. Which seemed to me means you both clearly have a defined thought to what is or isn't a superhero. That makes me concern about meeting that expectation without literally unraveling any fun I got excited over as Ben's story could arguably read more like a supernatural slice of life if I didn't.

Illumi ring is useless to Sinys, red seems okay to a degree. Although green seems to work well, but i believe he will learn something similar later? So if he doesn't learn such a thing I'm liking green more. Otherwise red is smartest choice.

Another thing you might want to consider, using a ring prevents him from using Mage Blood. You use runes, it has its own source rather than tap into yours and so won't cause you sickness.

Part of the problem is that this is first and foremost a superhero roleplay, not general fantasy one. Sure, magic and fantasy elements might appear in Marvel and DC comics, but they are not the most important part of these two universes. In my own opinion (I cannot speak for the other GMs), these fantasy elements should not exist naturally on this Earth or have long since faded away.

True, but define a what makes a Superhero? Everyone has a different definition, view, and expectation of what makes a superhero or are require to have to be classified as one. The only way you could do that is by defining what makes a superhero in this rp and make every CS fit that.

Ben is an example of that type of hero that might not fit the mold of what you might consider a superhero. Especially with what I'm going to do with his story later down the road and such.

You can be above 30, hold a respectable position or long held job, and/or be successful yet still not be an adult because you fail to act like it. :P

I divide being adult up into three areas:

Physically. Emotionally. Mentally. I'm pretty no one is an 'adult' in all three of these, lol. *looks at some of the behavior of the heroes currently and chuckles*

Sudden realization that the heroes are wee teens. Certainly capabale but they're so young. Poor Icon, dealing with the apparent difference in maturity levels is bound to be hella frustrating.

Indeed, hope you like your options. More rewards, as we get along, will open up as the story progresses.

@Rtron@Lucius Cypher: We need to progress that scene with that collab and before the students finish up with their last mission. In addition, we need to write a summary/gloss over post of what's happening in the medical wing too with the other NPCs. Which I'll give you the details later over skype.
