Samad & Cade
Xx---------------------------xX

Location: Arriving at the Peraltas’ mansion

Cade leaned over the railing, his eyes stared into the sea. The waves lapped at the ship’s hull, shifting them subtly side to side, and propelled them forward. A seaman shouted down below about approaching land when the island quickly drew into view. At the cry, Cade lifted his hazel eyes to scan the horizon then frowned. He immediately reached up and removed his glasses, using his shirt to wipe away the salt water until he could see through them better. When clear, he replaced them back upon his nose with a soft smile. At that moment, he noted someone from his vision side causing him to shift his face to see Samad’s thicker figure. The Persian had been rather quiet for the majority of the trip creating some tension within Cade, unable to reach the older man’s mine thanks to their lacking harmony, and forced him to imagine the actual reasons for the mood.

Gradually, the captain started to pull the cruiser into the harbor. The current Asylum pair were shortly joined by the others, including the Chronos, as several crewmen rushed to their positions. Their hands tossed ropes out to those upon the dock, who then lashed them down and started to pull the ship into port like some metal catch from the sea. It made a low rumble as it turned into the direction, lead by the guidelines and finally shuddered to a complete stop. A ladder was raised for all the bloodlines, Asylums and Chronos to disembark down to solid ground again.

Cade noted, unsurprisingly, that the elder of the two Chronos was among the first off the metal behemoth. There was a slight note of relief and pleasure to be back on dry land as well causing the blond to frown in confusion. Not forgetting his medical bag, Cade leaned down to pick it up and followed Samad who was already making his way off the ship with the others. Briefly, upon spotting Anya, he couldn’t help but smile softly in her direction. A small way to let her know he was alright without actually saying then rushed to catch up with Samad’s departing figure.

Xx---------------------------xX

After a bit of a walk through the gates and into the main courtyard, they stumbled upon a rather chaotic scene. Several more Asylums were standing within the open space about the single fountain and seemingly had been paired off to engage in a sparring match, including what appeared to be their current leader with what looked to be a miniature bear. Cade instantly stopped in his tracks at the sight. His eyes widened and mind was unable to form the word going through his head, his figure frozen in place. Samad, on the other hand, busted out in a hoarse laugh when Yang promptly belted Geko with a sizeable rock.

That was enough to break the spell of shock over Cade, his head jerked in Samad’s direction. His lips pressed tightly in disapproval but the Iranian simply just flashed a pleased smirk and ignored him. “What? Not my fault they decided to have a stripping match here in front of Peralta’s estate where every single camera likely caught their every move.”

He was unbothered by Cade’s scowling over his reaction while he shrugged it off.

Currently, the list of the chosen pawns. When all the students have been chosen then special god made gifts will start to appear. We still got a few pcs not picked but that will gradually change over the RP's course as the Gods start becoming more... active.
Ivellios

Aarem was concern.

As with all times he was concerned, the God of the Nox retreated to his realm and was determined to figure out the solution. In the dim, blue light Aarem’s figure was laid across his throne seat. His left arm was draped upon the crumbling stone support and in his right, he was examining a physical representation of the Nox held within his slender fingers. He tilted his onyx black hair that seemed to absorb all light. The god’s grey, stormy eyes flickered with dangerous thoughts and aggression over the object held firmly in his right hand. Cautiously he twisted it in place before his gaze while he examined it deeply for subtle, hidden flaws that didn’t seem to exist. Someone was messing with what measly power he was allowed by influencing the Nox, denying him what was rightfully his.

A fact he wasn’t happy about and intended to fix. After several moments, Aarem sharply inhaled, lingering over a spot when his hand paused then tighten his grip. Immediately he crushed the physical representation of his realm then slowly rose upright, his feet stepping down from the eternally decaying throne. It wouldn’t be long before his brother would summoned him and with a bitterness enveloping him, the dark god faded from his realm into the plane of Ivellios. Moments later, he materialized from the shadows of a large palm tree. Bracing himself for the irritation to come, his foot lead him out of the shade and into the brilliant light causing him to raise an ashen hand to shield his eyes.

Part of him hated being here, his sight was busy darting between the various gods toying with their own selfish affairs over mortal kind and gradually lead himself toward the long forgotten game board sitting in the middle of the courtyard. His slender fingers reached out to brush the hard surface when he noted an interesting scene budding into delightful violence between two siblings: Duuri and Xiah.

When within range, he heard Duuri immediately break out in a giggle over Xiah’s predicament. “You’re going to be out of the game if you don’t chose another pawn… and quickly.”

Her head was propped up by her hands, her ponytails swaying back and forth from her rocking motion. Unusually straight and white teeth were shown through a widen smile at her sister’s stress, drawing a venomous look from the older goddess. Aarem hung back to watch the eruption sparks happening between them with a mischievous smirk on his features. Naturally, Xiah had a retort for Duuri as her usually pretty face wrinkled up into a sour looking frown and seemed about to slap the little red head. “I’ve got higher standards than you. I won’t just pick any ugly little mutt off the board and call him or her mine. It’s insulting.”

“If you don’t pick, your only pawn is about to walk away from the college.” Duuri poked Xiah with the truth. ‘Just let the whore’s only piece leave and be done with it!’

Xiah retracted as if the younger sibling had actually physically smacked her and in the worse way, her hand brushing off Duuri off. Sighing, she leaned back over the board. Her eyes frantically scanned the courtyard then wound about the several different rooms. Her eyes fell on Meirin at least twice, but inwardly felt the setback as Duuri already had laid pawn rights to her. She skimmed her finger along the next choices and finally settled on the best option, E’nasha. Touching the little teenager on the head, she announced her choice out loud. The student, unknown what caused it, would feel a very faint tingling starting from her head top then travel down her spine before vanishing. It could easily been mistaken as merely a shiver from the wintery cold outside since several students chose then to march into the mess hall.

Duuri smirked then pointed at Baulder. “He’s my next pawn.”

“You already have two, that makes three!” Screeched Xiah, her voice gaining an octave and clearly insulted by this.

The redhead just stuck her tongue out in reply instead of uttering a verbal retort. Xiah had been about to smack her hand across the child’s face when she felt pressure on her wrist and a firm grip preventing it from moving. Slowly she turned her head to meet Ren holding her hand in place then spoke in a quiet, warning tone. “I advise you to rethink your actions Xiah.”

Her figure stiffened when she jerked her hand away, freeing herself from king’s grip. “Just because she’s your favorite, doesn’t give her the right to abuse such power!”

With those words echoing in her wake, Xiah abruptly took off to cool her embarrassment and let her humiliation die down. Ren idly watched her retreat around the main hall then turned to Duuri. His thick arms crossed over his and head tilted, his expression stating he wasn’t pleased with her either causing Duuri to glance away. “Duuri, you really need to stop provoking her that way.”

“B-but it’s fun,” Duuri admitted, her eyes still unable to meet her older brother’s gaze.

Hearing his sigh, she changed a glance and found herself regretting it. “I’m sorry, Ren.”

She immediately hugged him, letting the embrace hold then skirted off to play. Relieved she might listen, Ren’s eyes looked right at Aarem and his hiding place. The evil god merely stood there like he expected something but didn’t voice it. Guessing his brother’s demands, Ren briefly touched a pale, albion boy’s head (Leith) and turned his attention to something he noticed about his brother. “I suppose you’re bent on solving the Nox issue yourself?”

“Yes.” Was the short, blunt reply Aarem gave. His figure moved away from Ren, drawing a fairly large space between them, and turned to face the King with subjective glare. “I can handle this myself.”

“Can you? In your weakened state and limited power level?”

“You might be the King of the Gods, but who made you that way?” Aarem’s mention seemed to caused Ren pain as the younger brother turned away, his head bowed in what seemed to be shame. The darker god took this cue to leave while he turned on his heel, letting his painful words linger, then vanished back into the Nox waiting for the alignment ceremony.
Sniffs the air

Smell that. Is the smell of season 2 approaching.

We're hurrying, really. Also, @EntertheHero I'll start the collab tomorrow since you're having issues getting to it and let you take it from there. Sound alright?

THE IM MORTAL

“I apologize before hand for correcting your assumptions, but the term kid is a misleading description for me.” Charles replied kindly as he kept a look out, his hand fiddling with his hat every few moments. It was uncomfortable for the most part because he wasn't accustomed to wearing such a thing since the 1800s and that was a top hat. His words continued to speak while his eyes wandered across the individual faces and made brief presumptions based on memory, continually nervous his disguise wasn't enough to hide him. “I do regret that I'm unable to offer a suitable reward for your aid in return.”

Already Charles had absorbed the man’s name and stored it away in his archived library of memories. His mind pinning notable visuals to the word’s meaning in order to enable him to identify Anton should they ever cross paths again. Lazy as the method sounded, Charles had ceased putting too much effort in recalling strangers for a long time now. Mainly due to the fact people drifted in and out of each other’s lives since humanity’s early days, often too selfish to bother with trivial work required in developing connections with them. In the immortal’s jaded view, only those who sought and strove to keep contact with him were worth the drudgery. These individuals were rarer than the selfish creatures he encountered all the time.

So, he believed they deserved to be valued as such.

Inhaling quietly, he tilted his head upward in order to view Anton and observe him. If the man found the young girl, any differences in his current behavior and words toward Charles would indicate it fairly quickly. Noting the man used a camera, the immortal frowned. It didn’t help he wasn’t a big fan of technology and tolerated a limited selection that was dated after the 1800s. In his view, it was rather humorous how the Prae and Licentia revealed themselves to mankind, but each race was determined to remain rather detached from the events they likely triggered in man's nature as they aided them into a new revolution. In the end, each had placed their mark upon the race as a whole. In one way or another, Charles thought bitterly looking around.

Currently, he wouldn’t have minded being sent on a fruitless mission and wasted the time looking for the girl, who might not even be there. In his mind, he had an endless road compared to others and so he had the time to devote to a frivolous task. Something caught his attention from his peripheral vision. His head turned to spot the very speaker who had earlier addressed the aggregation was now shifting through it, seeking out and talking with selective individuals. Those people of interest then started to move from the crowds like they had been instructed to do so. The sight stirred his intuition that things were getting much worse and his window to escape uninvolved was being reduced by the longer he stayed. Unfortunately, Charles couldn’t simply leave without officially knowing if the girl he sought was actually here or not.

"Professor Aeon, I must admit, you were the last person I expected to see here. A man after my own taste, it's a pleasure to see you." A voice, far too pleased in Charles’ perspective, addressed him from behind.

When Zeki called out, he thereupon jerked in reaction. It was a daft notion to believe his disguise was going to last all night, the professor realized when he had been discovered. Carefully, noting the eyes of a few younger generation looking in their direction, he turned to face the very source that had been “kind” enough to disclose his identity to everyone else. Regrettably, punching wasn’t a polite greeting in Medius or the immortal might’ve actually considered practicing it in this situation.

His hand reached for his hat and removed it, the attempt to blend in a complete failure. Naturally, his mind started to pick out features that drew his eyes and made memorization easier. An eyebrow raised in question upon seeing the man dressed in an old fashion top hat, well-kept tuxedo, fluttering cape and a cane held in his hand when he approached Charles. It was obvious to everyone by the professor’s expression he didn’t recall ever meeting the Lucenti before now.

Adding the brief description to his mental library, Charles then spoke in his known calm and mature manner. “As I’ve told many of my students: appearances are deceiving. In this case, depending on what you’re thinking that’s likely the case. Mr...?”
@DearTrickster @NeutralNexus

Don't have internet yet but I went to the library and made a response to the collab, lol.

Where there is a will, there's a way!

O SHI-

I just remembered I have to suddenly kill the game off, for no particular reason other than to prevent this exact situation from happening.

@fdeviant, @DearTrickster,@NeutralNexus, @EnterTheHero, @Nytefall, and @GamerXZ:

Alright here’s the gameplan folks. Fdeviant, NN, and Trickster will work on finishing the post. Nytefall, you will need to add both your tag and Evergreen to the top of the collab so we know who’s in it and post it up. There’s actually no need to wait to post it as it doesn’t recall affect the other trio’s post until the very end and that’s minor. When Hero get online, we’ll likely start at least a collab and have Gabe free Rach which Odette (after she’s dealt with Joseph and Holt) will end up interrupting the scene. This will allow for another clash between the two while Gabe passes Rach over to like both Hydro (recovered a bit), Evergreen and a drone (?). Then the list below is pretty much what has been mentioned and aimed for before the end of the arc, both posts and collabs.

  • Wrap up Fdeviant, NN, and Tricks collab (then post it before Gabe and Rach collab)
  • Nytefall post the collab for what’s happening outside the building
  • Gabe rescues Rach (whose power level is pretty much human right now), but escape interrupted by Odette
  • Gabe and Odette clash (someone’s character come back to help him escape)
  • Cowl and Tristan, who will be in the building shortly, can try to stop them (naturally failing but this would allow Cowl to fight a bit)
  • Arc resolution:
    • Jacqueline approached, without appointment, by a strange man
    • Villains’ aftermath due to lost over their goal (likely a post or two each summing up the effects on the villains, and any developments for the future. Example, Tristan will still be on loan but none of the prior deal arrangements will happen)
    • Heros’ aftermath due to being outmatched and the current threat (likely a post or two each summing up the effects on the heroes)

If I forgot anything, let me know.
I haven't got internet in my apartment yet so my response to the collab might be momentarily delayed.

Alright, no problem and thanks for the heads up. We should have a collab up shortly with Hydro, Evergreen and some of Icarus' drones taking on Gene Co outside. :p
@Freeshooter92: Btw, Lyn will ask Alaira to look after her mom (namely since she's still wobbly on legs).
