Bio

Oh gee! An age and a gender and interests and things. Yeah, I have those. Ain't no way I'm about to trigger an existential crisis by typing them all out, though. You can find out what a nerd I am on discord, okay?

Stay awesome, people.

It would only work with conjoined twins

Hmmmm...

You know, jokes and meme potential aside (of which there's a lot), that'd be a pretty interesting thing to explore in terms of individuality and how they choose to represent themselves in a virtual world. Like...how would people who've spent their entire lives physically joined to each other explore new dimensions of freedom in a virtual space like that? Would they play as a single avatar or multiple ones? If the latter, would they tend to stay close to each other out of years of habit, would they go to the opposite extreme and use this as a chance to experience the world as individuals, or would they end up somewhere in between?

In terms of the real world and how people would react to them and how well they could hide, that could be interesting too. I mean, it's a random-ass idea born from an offhand joke, but it's really tempting to try this...
@Skelm I've gotta say, I like Kent a lot. We need more characters over age thirty.
@Star Lord Aww man. Was I too late with my potential characters? I was hoping to do some archetypes that I don't see covered all that often.
Withdrawn.

Colour me interested.
Working on a cantankerous old man.
After doing some research, I'm really digging the idea of the Wendigo as the mythical beast. It feels like a slightly more unique approach, fits the wintry theme, adds an element of judgement and morality to the RPG, and Wendigoag are just wickedly creepy on top of it all.
OOC going up soon, hopefully. Looking forward to this.
I'm definitely up for something a bit more original than good old fashioned vampires, though as long as they're not completely textbook or completely sparkly, they would work well here. The idea of a Wendigo is more interesting on a moral and cultural level (though it really belongs to a different reasonable set of native beliefs). There's also the related Wechuge, which is slightly more geographically appropriate and may be worth checking out.

In general, I like the idea of the threat being something a bit insidious and of it potentially being able to disappear within the host or go back into hiding when all is said and done. On the one hand, it could lead to a sort of 'witch hunt' situation, but on the other, it gives people some hope and maybe makes them hesitate a bit before just blowing monsters to smithereens.
This sounds cool. Colour me interested.
