Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

I'll try to get a post up tomorrow once I get home from class. Apologies to everyone in Solitary who may have been waiting for me.

That can also be arranged. *Brandishes knife*

So how are posts going?

This time, Robert actually paid attention to what he was being told, figuring that it would actually be a good idea to know what they were supposed to do all the way out here. It seemed simple enough, but then again so did the last two missions he had been on and look how those went. Sure, they all ended with the primary objective completed, but both times the former team leader had returned home feeling that mistakes were made on his part. There was a reason Sand was now in command though and he knew she wouldn't make the same bad calls he had.

Now that Ms. Thoúlē Aristeas was finished speaking and looking to hear whatever questions the team may have been thinking, Robert decided to be the first to speak and ask what was on everyone's mind. "Who chose the name for this organization? Like did they know how deceitful it was when they chose it? Did they sit around a table of executives and go, 'Alright guys, what name should we choose for our government-funded institution that will be creating high tech and possibly illegal weapons all for the sake of defending humanity from the greatest threat it's ever faced?'

'I know, how about we name it after the greatest dessert known to mankind so that any high school students that visit the facility will be totally confused and depressed when they realize they will not in fact be getting ice cream while they're trying to fight off the hordes of Grimm that constantly barrage our facility.'

'That's a great idea, Jim. This is why we pay you the big bucks.'"

Despite how ridiculous the scenario he had described was, it was clear by the peeved look on his face that the bespectacled young man was very serious about his question. He felt absolutely betrayed by the Atlesian woman.

Cayde Selmy

Cayde agreed to Satirra's request with a simple nod, making his way to the unconscious guard to make sure the man didn't run away or get killed by one their more brutal companions. The easiest way he could think of that would accomplish such a task was to pick the man up and push him into a nearby wooden table, holding the guard's arm behind his back. The guy seemed out cold, but it was always better to be safe than sorry. However, as he watched the hot-blooded Dhirom claw in vain at the cobblestone floor, the man decided to point out their precious time that was ticking away.

"Hey, I think it might be best if we just take the stairs. You've made some pretty impressive progress, but I don't think it's going to be any faster than running," he told her. There was no need to insult her efforts. Had it worked, it might very well have gotten them past a lot of the densest groups of troops, but time was of the essence. If the rest of the prisoners were contained before they reached the bottom floor, their small band wouldn't have a chance on their own.

The nobleman would make sure to wait for Satirra and anyone else that may have been lagging behind for whatever reason before they all made their way down. Most of everyone seemed very attached to their confiscated belongings, and while Cayde may not have been voicing his concern, he also was thinking about his Draethil-forged armaments. He could still fight without them, but they would make any future combat encounters much easier. Considering the life they would all lead after taking leave of this prison, there would probably be nothing more useful. So it was towards the warden they would go, and any other obstacles that stood before them as they made their way down.

Blossoming Relationships

Just like everyone else on the ship, Robert's eyes immediately fell on the brightly colored woman that was to be their chaperone for this mission. "No wait, we're supposed to be protecting her right?" he mumbled to himself, just quietly enough that no one would hear. The young man couldn't recall, after all he had only skimmed through the mission's description. Sand had told them that she would prefer this mission over the others so he trusted her judgement. Though in hindsight he realized that not reading was less trust in his team leader and more laziness on his part. Oh well.

In any case, he refocused on the inspector. Pink now seemed to have the tendency to remind him of a specific ex-teammate of his, one whose absence especially struck him with a deep yearning. He hoped he'd finally receive that first letter she promised to send when she left during Parent Day.

Fortunately the woman soon spoke, helping Robert escape from his wandering mind and bring himself back into the present. "Hmm? Did someone say ice cream?" Unfortunately, all he heard were two words that made him look more like a dog after hearing the word 'treat' then like a professional huntsmen. If he had a tail like their new teammate did, it would probably be wagging.

... What the fuck is happening?

The gym was in complete chaos. New servants were appearing and servants that had been in the fight for hours were suddenly leaving. Hal had never seen anything like it before in his life. It was like watching a train crash and being unable to look away from the explosions and metal bending in on itself. Hal waited for Odysseus' answer, hoping that this veteran of the Trojan War would be able to explain what the two of them were currently witnessing.

... I don't have a clue either.

Well that helped. What do you think we should do?

Well I doubt we could take on all of these on our own. I'm no Rider class after all. I say we go along with them. At the very least, if they do mean us harm, gaining their trust will allow me to more easily use my Doúreios íppos on them without them noticing, increasing our chances to escape.

Alright. Until I'm sure we're out of danger than, you can remain in control. Don't get too used to it however.

"I'll follow you, newcomers. Though I hope you don't expect me to disarm myself. I appreciate the support, but I apologize for remaining cautious until I get to know you more, Odysseus said with Hal's body, collecting his axes that had fallen off of Xerxes when the Persian King had melted to goop.
Shipment protection

Boom! Up above in the bright blue sky, the sound of Vale's tax dollars could be heard being spent as the cargo ship's escorts blew up another Nevermore that had gotten much too close for comfort. It had been about two hours since the ship had left port from one of Vale's southern cities and the most interesting thing that had happened was the occasional "fireworks show" above. If the action so far was anything to show of how the senior's mission would go, it seemed that this would be the easiest lien they'd probably ever make in their lives.

On the ship's bridge, the coolheaded crew all seemed to be working hard at keeping the ship running in tip top shape, but as long as they had the escort above and the sonar giving them an early warning below, they felt just as bored as anyone else. In fact, things were running so well that the captain had begun wandering the top deck, looking to talk with the huntsmen-in-training that were on board his vessel. After all, these were prestigious students of Beacon already in the last year of their education. They must hear the amazing tales of his seafaring adventures so they could spread them back at school and to future generations. Taking a puff from his pipe, Captain Korallion approached whichever member of Team HTTS that was unfortunate enough to be spotted first, ready to talk their ear off about the 'good old days.'

Another possible location to waste time at, if one didn't care for watching the waves or seeing how a cargo ship is run, was the crew's quarters. Here one could instead play a game of cards with those were currently off duty and, if their luck was good enough, walk away from this mission with a nice bonus. Cheating was of course another option, though making enemies on the open water with nowhere to escape to wouldn't be the smartest move.

Finally, for those looking for solitude or to be an edgy loner, there was also the cargo hold where one could be in relative silence. It was completely empty of people and one could easily read or try to catch up on procrastinated assignments if they weren't the diligent type. It was also the deepest point of the ship other than the engine room and whoever chose to stay there would be at the greatest disadvantage if/when an attack came.
