Current No point posting your writing online if you don't care about praise.

Is the rioting and BLM brought up yet?

Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

Well, if the GM orders me to stop, then I'll stop doing that.

Hey, I read other people's posts too. But my character can only interact with one of them.

And I can post often because my work load is currently quite light and I'm pretty much filling my free time with doing this.
Grendrick took charge right away, just as Marianne had expected. It was either him or Siph really. No one else seemed to be the leader type.

His speech however was interrupted with the fact that Fariha was still asleep as she rode on Siph's bear. She couldn't help to chuckle at the comical scene.

After Fariha returned to the waking realm. Grendrick continued his explanation. He ordered her to stay back and be the support role. Well, that was her plan from the start. There was no way she could fight in the front line. She would just get murdered in seconds. Her beetle armor was only there as an emergency, in case of some stray arrow heading towards her.

And she had no idea why he even brought up her gender.

Grendrick's plan was that of a direct attack. Marianne could get behind that, as long as there was someone in the front to tank for her.

But before that, he would execute his own "personal tactic" first.

To her surprise, Grendrick just ran like that to the enemy, sprinting on all fours as he employed his lycan nature. His speed was certainly impressive and his leap also.

And then, his howl. Even from that distance, Marianne could feel terror seeping through her heart, her lungs, and her bones. Her insects also felt it, as they became unruly underneath her dress.

Truly it was a powerful howl.

Lily's smile got a little wider when she heard her having difficulties saying her name. She really was cute.

"It's my pleasure," she replied, still with her smile. Polite, too. She liked polite people.

She watched her explaining why she didn't hide her ears and tails. So the reason was because she felt her ears and tails were part of her body, and hiding them felt like losing an arm or a leg. She herself didn't understand that reason. She very well knew she was a dragon even though she was in her human form. Dragon blood flowed through her and no amount of transformation would change that.

It's a shame that a kitsune's power comes from its tails. A dragon's power comes from its blood, so even if it loses its wings and tails, it can still regrow them back. Maybe a kitsune will just die if someone were to cut its tails.

"I see," Lily responded. "Then, I won't hold it to you. Just... be careful with your skirt. Maybe ask the tailor to make a hole for your tails to go through. Really don't want some boy to look at your underwear," Lily said with a little blush.

Hinako then asked her about her kind, the poison dragons.

"What there is to say about my kind?" Lily sighed, though she still smiled, "They're dragons. Powerful beasts, terror of humankind since ancient times." She walked away from her as she said this, raising her hand dramatically to the air. She then turned back and looked at Hinako once more, this time with a wide, almost-a-grin smile, her hands on the back of the skirt. "Nowadays though, we have quite calmed down a little. We are no longer like our ancestors who prey on humans. We become their protectors instead, whether that be eating the local wildlife that threatens them or overthrowing a tyrant that oppresses them. Nobody knows exactly why, but my Papa's favorite theory is because we dragons end up seeing the worth of humans. We no longer see them as mere weaklings, only there as prey. We see how they struggle every day in this world."

"And if you're asking about my subspecies specifically, poison dragons, we don't really have our own community. Dragons these days have blood from various types of dragons, so they can birth other types of dragons not of their own. My Papa is a fire dragon while my Mama is an ice dragon. I am the only child and I'm a poison dragon. Papa once said that my great grandmother was a poison dragon too so I probably got my blood from her. We no longer fight over territories like the old days, where fire dragons will stay with other fire dragons and will only marry them, and the same for ice dragons. We are now more flexible, thanks to our dwindling numbers, I suppose."

"Now, if that answers your question, shall we go?" Lily's smile was now genuinely bright. She had eased herself towards the company of the kitsune.

At first, Hinako answered that she wasn't lost at all, followed by a nervous laugh and handwaving. Lily could immediately tell she was lying, as her intonation, body language (including her tails and ears), and facial expression, all pointed to the other way. Really, this girl was not a good liar at all, which she liked seeing how she disliked manipulative, fake people.

And besides, her mannerism and awkwardness were quite cute. It reminded her of how awkward that boy of hers was. Lily thought she might be fond of this girl after all.

"Very well then, Hinako. Follow me," Lily answered. As she addressed her, her lips couldn't help forming a small smile. It was very rare for her to smile in front of others. She only did it in front of people she liked.

"Oh, and my name is Lily. Lily Flameheart. I am a dragon, a poison one to be exact. And I assume you are a kitsune, judging by your tails? I never met your kind before, but I've heard stories about them. Powerful magic. Some of them even had worshippers like a god. My family has people who bring them tribute every year, but they aren't really worshipped. They're more like local lords than anything."

Looking at Hinako's really obvious large bushes of tails that came out from her back, she asked her a question.

"And I wonder why you don't hide your tails and ears, especially the tails. They're so huge and fluffy. Wouldn't they get in the way if you sit on a chair? And they're lifting your already short skirt so I can see your panties."

Once again, Lily's dragon mentality came out. She didn't care, or more like she didn't notice, how impolite and pushy she was being to the fox girl. If she had something to say, she would say it with no fear whatsoever.

Whoa, isn't this too hardcore for a slice-of-life RP?

Edit: Fuck, I posted at the CS page. Can't delete it.
When Leila saw Feon being possessed by Remus, she immediately summoned her sword back into her hand. Her instinct almost made her lunge towards the girl and cut her in half, but she knew that would also kill the knowledge on how to defeat the Hero.

Hearing his explanation, the first thing that came to her mind was how it really was dark magic. Soul sacrifice. She would reject that kind of offer any time, especially when the demon lord himself was the one who offered it.

However, he said that the soul didn't have to be humanoid. So they could sacrifice monsters? Animals?

She hated to think of it, but that would make the sacrifice barely tolerable. They really needed power to defeat the Hero, or else more innocent lives will be lost. And if a bunch of goblins or kobolds or trolls would be sacrificed for that, what did it matter? She killed their kind many times to save people attacked by them.

But it was still distasteful. And she felt filthy even thinking about it.

And that didn't take the account of the demon lord secretly adding something to the ritual. Maybe a little bit of corruption so he could control or at least influence whoever used it.

One of the people gathered awkwardly asked who would volunteer first. She would readily volunteer herself if this were a holy ritual. But with this situation, she was hesitant. She was afraid. Afraid that she might lose her soul to the dark if she did the ritual.

And so Leila just stood there, looking at the reaction of the rest of the group.
