Hot dogs are already cooked. Might as well just sear them to add flavor.

If you take college seriously, it opens doors. Harvard and Hopkins makes it easier, but you can do well anywhere.

Prefer to brainstorm on Discord for that reason.

I remember expressing interest in this a few months ago, did that ever get off the ground?

No, unfortunately. I still have the chat up and old content, but it never got off the ground. Character sheets didn't roll in, so at least it didn't have a lot of work put into it.
If they can set limits on how quickly someone can like posts one after another, it seems like putting a timer on those posts is a viable mechanism if it comes down to that. Then again, @mahz does the coding, he can work out the viability. It's just a thought.

If you put a fifteen minute timer on those status updates, then you can't have the same back and forth that's spamming out everyone else's posts. It encourages them to move to thread, PM or Chat to do the group hissy there.

Beats having to delete six million inapropos posts too.
I hate to feel like a nag, but I wanted to make sure you guys are good on what happened with the transition there. I thought Parry's house was getting a little stale and the natural thing to do after a hangover is hit a diner.
@HeySeuss More than likely, charge and bring it down. Or die trying.

Well, there's a demi-squad of Luna Wolves engaged with them, but they are coming for the Rhinos. Do what you see fit with the variety of things that plausibly are around in that environment.

Cool. Any Dark Angel response to the sudden appearance of Bloodthirsters near the Rhinos? :)
Fancy Ticklin' > Jimmy Rustlin'.

Edit: Welcome to my next user title, after I get tired of "DJ Hot Carl."
I'd like a status check from whomever is left so we can plan for the RP's restructuring accordingly.
Good luck with your next steps!

And good luck with the struggle. We all have our things to wrestle with, and if getting off this place aids that cause, go for it!
Career change right after a medical emergency that nearly killed me (not my first, but probably one of my worst), while coping with a hostile work environment -and- learning to handle an anxiety disorder. It sounds more harrowing than it was in retrospect, because I was my own worst enemy here in a lot of ways.

(That's not entirely true, the executive chef was and is a violent lunatic, and he probably was the actual worst enemy. ;) )

I learned that anxiety is a bitch but a lot of people have it. Understanding it helped me to control it. I also learned that knowing when to cut people off is important, though I still struggle with that. That lively sense of 'don't give a fuck about your haters' is an important element of serenity in life. Shutting down the toxicity of others and guarding against it in yourself is probably an evolving fight. Letting it go has a lot to do with that.

Above all, mistakes will be made but learning from 'em is what counts.
Of course. I assumed there would be some collaboration with the ideas you already have vs. ideas I could contribute. My only fear here is whether or not the RP could hold some surprises. I would love to offer some creative input but I also don't want to entirely show my hand, or to fully see what's in everyone else's.

My experience is that once players trust each other with scenarios, surprises are fun to pull and plot twists are cool. The trick is to make sure that the innovations on plot don't abuse the trust.
