Bio

Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

Pokémon Trainer Jeff became a little defensive when Gredy suddenly stood in front of him. The other trainer seemed a little bigger than him—at least from what he could gauge. Jeff put on his best intimidating frown and clenched his fists tight with anger and raging nerves.

You want to trade your Pokémon? I’ve got an offer for you. I’ll take your clearly unwanted Pokémon in exchange for not reporting you for Pokémon abuse. Sounds like a fair trade to me.

Jeff opened his mouth as though prepared to growl some well-executed counter-offer or comeback, but nothing left. His mouth closed and his jaw clenched tight as he thought over the decision. He didn’t want the police involved. He did kick his Pokémon…but that stupid rat…wait, he could probably still get another Pokemon. After all, they never checked the ball.

Wrinkling his nose, Jeff leaned close to Gredy’s face and growled, “Keep the dumb rat then. I don’t care. I’m getting myself a better Pokémon.”

Jeff then turned to stomp back over to the Pokémon Club table.

Cyndaquil had recovered and was on edge. The fire mouse was shaking and confused. Did he just lose his trainer? Why? Did he hate him? He didn’t understand what was going on. All he wanted was just not to be given away. He didn’t know where those people would take him. His fiery quills were still burning as he looked around unsure of what to do, where to go…he had been wild before, but he didn’t know the current area too well.

Peace is nice, but it has to be come by honesty. What you’re doing isn’t making peace, it’s making slaves. @shagranoz

I agree with my friend here Father, I like the state of mind I’m in currently. @Queentze

“I haven’t done anything. The people believe in God and the miracles he performs through me,” the pastor explained as though it was that simple.

Meanwhile, Bill listened to the vampire, Mithias’s reasoning. Don’t preach to me ‘bout procedure. Don’t think yer all high and mighty ‘cuz yer old as shit. We ain’t got no authorization to take in any humans, and you ain’t gettin’ it without a report statin’ why. That’s not even yer lane. That’s Bugs’ @ShaggyDoo0 lane.

Bill went silent for a few seconds as he mused over the idea of the agents withdrawing. It wasn’t like the pastor was going to go anywhere and he didn’t want him to feel threatened enough to do so. Before Bill could make any decision, one of the agents made a move, and it was too fast for him to track.

The mother of the two boys David and Zack stepped into the path of a knife and caught it right between the eyes. Her head snapped back, her body tumbling back to thump heavily upon the wooden floor. Her eyes were still wide open, and a smile on her face as blood spilled in thin ruby streams about her eyes. Her children didn’t even acknowledge what had happened—no one in the congregation did. The pastor stared down at the dead woman with an indifferent expression before he glanced at the agents. Bill was lighting up everyone’s headphones.

Who the fuck did that? I didn’t see him do anythin’ fuckin’ crazy did you? SHIT!

Suddenly, the woman’s eyes began to grow larger and large until her eyelids rolled backwards like rubber film as her eyes appeared outside their sockets like eggs, staring up at the ceiling. Suddenly erupting from her sockets were long, red whip-like tentacles lashing at the air. They erupted from her nostrils, ears, and mouth, violently thrashing about and making a wet slap against the pews and floor they struck. The congregation was then upon the operatives, latching onto them as their faces transformed before their eyes, erupting with the same nasty tentacles that burst from the woman’s face. The tentacles threatened to get under the skin and spread like worms, seeking to travel to the brain. The church was full of inhuman shrieking as man, woman, and child sought to tear the agents limb from limb.

Pastor Goodfellow stepped back toward the podium, resting his hand upon its wooden surface as he said, “Hm…what a shame, and I was hoping that I would be able to stay a little longer.”

Amidst the madness, the church started to shake as though the entire building would come down. Soot fell from the ceiling, squares of stained glass started to fall from the windows and décor.

Jesus Christ at a football game! I want everyone to get the fuck out of there! That’s an order!

Mithias was fortunate where he stood for it didn’t look like any of the brood were capable of flying. They were attack his teammates and from where the pastor stood, he didn’t seem at all worried about any of the operatives reaching him. Perhaps he had another trick up his sleeve?

@MilkmanSome writers I think may be doing a collab post. I still need to do my Fang post but work tends to keep me busy during the week. There's a lot going on this week.
@Holy Soldier
I mostly agree with Talija, the Club makes for a pretty solid antagonist group. That they've managed to directly anger several of our characters instead of just being there like a lot of the Teams in the games is nice as well, and the Viridian situation was fairly well thought out. I do wish it was a bit more clear at the top of things that it was going to be a Hopeless Boss type scenario, but I'm not sure how much of that is actual fault vs just me being stupid/disadvantaged.

The only other thing I can think of might be something with the Exp System, but before I vomit a paragraph about that I should ask a clarification question- in the First Post where you talk about Weekly Experience Caps, is that 10 Exp per OOC Week (so today until December 10th), or is that In-Game Weeks? (This is in regards to if any of the Pokemon Trainers use their current Pokemon to battle and catch Wild Pokemon, then that Pokemon they used to battle the Wild Pokemon will get 3 exp points. Because catching Wild Pokemon can happen frequently throughout the IRL week, I said that the Tamed Pokemon can only get 3 exp a week and no more. So they can continue to battle and catch wild Pokemon but they won't get exp for it. They got it only that one time until the following week comes around.)

And, while I'm at it (sorry for the question barrage), I had a brainstorm earlier today at work for Seth. I know you said him making off with a box from the van wouldn't fly, but my thought was to make a Pokemon CS and arrange it so that she was tamed by a Trainer who grew to hate her who trades her ball in to the Club for an Ubermon, then have her ball go out of the box (maybe a box got jostled or dropped and a couple fell out but hers went farther by pure happenstance), get quietly grabbed by Seth, taken to the city limits and released into the Wild (where she'd then be up for grabs by Trainer PCs), and then Seth is in or near the forest and I can move him to hook up with Talija's Zorua and get that ball rolling. Do you think I could swing that, or would you really rather I just left that whole situation alone? (This would be fine. I also said beforehand and I think this was before you joined the game that the Enemy NPCs were just meant to reveal a criminal situation and that's all it was. There was going to be another situation the trainers can level their Pokemon on. But that can happen the next day to allow the writers to move on with their plots.)

(I'm likely to make the Gijinka with the gist of that background anyway, tamed -> hated -> runs or is chased away, I just thought it might be interesting to make use of the Club if possible and kill a 2nd bird with the same stone by giving Seth a reason to be in the forest without giving him mood whiplash or needing to skip ahead some-odd hours while he cools off).

I made my comments in yellow.
@Trickster@Cyrania@knighthawk What we need to decide on is which quest are you guys willing to do? Because there's only four of us now until I open recruitment again.
@LexiconYes, there are steam-engine powered flying machines. I never played Jade Empire.

Okay, so this game has been going on for 3 months now, which is the longest-running game I've ever managed on this site. I can't say that I've ever managed in my RP lifetime because no game will ever beat the game I ran for literally 10 years. I started it when I was in middle school and ran it all the way into college before the site I had it on decided to die off and crash.

But I think three months is rather amazing seeing how the expiration rate of games on this site is usually 1 to 2 weeks. However long it takes people with short attention spans to move on.

Any who, I want to read some feedback.

Sustains - What do you like about this game? What you don't want to change about this game?
Improvements - How you think this game could improve?

The criticism has to be productive. If you're just going to say, "I don't like this game," and offer nothing else. Well, I'm going to ask, "Why are you still here then?" And probably ask you to leave because I don't believe in people sitting in a game that they aren't happy with. It just makes no sense. So just productive criticism that we can actually use to improve how this game runs.

Age: 7
Gender:
Height: 4'2" (Gijinka)
Weight: 97 lbs. (Gijinka)
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: You never see them. His eyes are slanted.
Generation: II
Type: Fire
Written Appearance: In his Pokemon form, Cyndaquil appears as a small black mouse with a lengthy snout and yellow underbelly. His fur is very short, smooth and silky to the touch. Along his black are four red spots that are fleshy and hairless. From those spots, Cyndaquil can present his porcupine-like flames. His body is always very warm to the touch, his temperature naturally being higher than most non-fire Pokemon. As a Gijinka, Cyndaquil appears as a little boy with slanted eyes and an interesting cowlick that always stands on top of his head. He'll wear loose fitting shirts and pants to keep himself cool for he finds it very easy to overheat. As a Gijinka, Cyndaquil can blend in easy for he looks just like any Human kid.
Visual Appearance:

Personality: Cyndaquil is a timid Pokemon who knows he's small and naturally doesn't like being taken advantage of. He is a quiet Pokemon who isn't entirely talkative. His actions speak louder than his words, and so one will find him or herself communicating more non-verbally with him. He's young and still adapting to this world of trainers, tournaments, and even seeing Pokemon that he may not have ever seen in his natural habitat. It's all overwhelming and deep-down he's frightened. He just needs a strong trainer to befriend and boost his confidence.

Hey everyone,

The azurillaland stat calculator is down and undergoing construction/update. In the meantime, we'll use this ghetto calculator: psypokes.com/dex/stats.php

I'll post this on the front page for easy access.

Also, when your Pokemon evolve, I don't expect their nature to be the same. So if you want to change their Nature after an evolution, then that is okay. Pokemon grow, learn, and they may not be the same way their were before.
