Experimental Gear once used by those of an Elite Organisation two years prior to Team Rainbow's reactivation, this 'Eyepiece' utilises high frequency sonar to produce sonic pulses, combined with an advanced AI controller, that penetrate through objects and walls to provide an enhanced visual representation of the engagement zone. The range of this is about 15-19 metres. It was used with the abilities to maintain control of his weapon whilst using it on field, unlike previous FBI Operators' gadgets. There are some drawbacks to its design, however, as accuracy can sometimes fall short if on the move. In static positions, its quality is at its best and resists any fuzziness. On the move, especially at faster paces, a strong interference and smudge of pixels across his vision. Therefore, its use is best ceased during times of rest, preparations for breaching and analysis of reconnaissance. Another drawback is its slight delay between each impulse. There is approximately 1 to 3 seconds in between each pulse when in use, which can be slightly altered by a small dial located on the left flank of the device. On top of that, it does not consistently track the position of an individual, and only shows their location when they collided with the impulse, meaning fast movement from scanned adversaries can cause disillusion and nausea.

Psychological Profile
Frankie is known for being an introvert at heart. Being very focal on his education and training, he finds it difficult to adjust to simple off-leading tasks, such as downtime. It leaves for a tendency to occupy himself with gadget tinkering, offering chances for other Operators to use his services in repairing and advising equipment usage. Whilst serving as both a technological designer on the sidelines to adjust to his ease-of-boredom, he can find comfort in socialising with other operators through this occupation. When it changes to a combat situation, he becomes a focused mastermind, having an ability to quickly judge his actions and plan adjustments when operations change due to complications. However, excessive force can sometimes be enough to break his focus, leading to mistakes in his work and performance.

Frankie has a tendency, as noted by Mike Baker, to grow serious attachments to Operators he gets along well with or finds certain eccentrics in their appearance. For instance, prior to the disaster at Bellagio Hotel, the technological serviceman found extensive worry for Yumiko and Maxim, two operators who's equipment had a track record of malfunctioning in certain conditions. He felt worried that these two, who'd grown close friends and allies with him, would end up being killed by their own devices and spent too many sleepless nights trying to recover these issues and fix what he thought was a spanner in the works. Since he has only had few deployments into the field as a Rainbow Six operator, it is unknown to what extent he may become protective of those around him. Further analysis is required, as Baker has ordered. However, previous missions have shown he is driven to complete an objective that can turn the tides of the campaign, as well as amend the tragedies previously suffered. It is worth noting that Frankie heavily looked up towards Ryad 'Jackal' Ramírez Al-Hassar, who shared a similar interest in tactics in tracking down oppositions in the field with heavy detail.

During his free time, Frankie has been spotted doing several creative things, such as drawing plans or imagining outlandish designs that couldn't possibly be achieved. Whether it was sitting on a sofa at his private dorm in their headquarters, whilst his comrades had celebrated and shared their happiness at the success of certain grand victories over drinks, or whilst he was simply supposed to be asleep. If he wasn't occupied, having spent a lot of time attending those who needed maintenance, there were chances of him simply sitting down, talking to whoever was in his interests and keeping the peace. Sometimes he'd even force Jordan to whip him up a sweetened Hot Chocolate imported from America...

Jessica was originally underneath Franklin's command, and she still technically is, however he was soon to bridge that gab between them and try to form a friendship with her. It turns out the two share quite a decent amount of personality traits that Franklin finds appreciative. Since they are now in the Field of Operations, a switch in jobs that had initially put a lot of pressure upon Franklin, he wishes to grow as close to Jessica as he can for camaraderie and reasons only he likes to know.

Biography
Frankie was born in Glasgow, along with his regular middle-classed family, on April 14th 1984, and followed onwards throughout an ordinary life. He was quick to pick up an interest in the forever changing world of technology, science and quirky gadgets that were spiking up in the approaching millennia. Every year, he'd read or hear about a new invention that a foreign or local mastermind had developed over the course of many days, weeks, months or years. It excited him, giving him a set goal for where he wanted to end up in life. It was something his parents approved of, as having a younger child with an early lust for success made for a productive and less stressful parenthood. Frankie moved through school, going through his education during the 1990's in the GCSE system, eventually expanding into the main subjects he'd chosen. With this, he also developed a natural ambition of physical activity, attending many leisurely clubs to feed both hobby and ideal.

By the time he'd left his education beyond the GCSEs, passing with a very plausible grading tally, Frankie was ready to attend University, but found difficulties in handling the cost and distance issues in regarding to the one that'd benefit his own needs. After a few months of panic trying to sort out a place in his life, he found comfort when watching a presentation of the Armed Forces Officer programmes. He had the qualifications desired by the Queen's regiments and eventually signed up for the Royal Marines, looking towards taking the Technological Officer's path in order to both show patriotism and further his education in tech-advancements. He trained here for a good few years, eventually granting himself a name amongst some of the Nation's regiments for his involvement in many peaceful and war-based pieces of equipment, used both locally and globally. And as his life continued, it reached 2013, where he was approached by someone new. More specifically, he began to portray a strong and steady-going achievement in communications equipment and was, though denied, offered places in British development offices further behind lines. However, he denied them several times as he continued to support his fellow soldiers directly. Within his platoon, he became quite appreciated by those beneath his command and would occasionally act informal to his rank's specification just to appeal to his friends and allies. Years went by as he served his longest years in the Royal Marines, where he saw his fair share of fighting, conflict, anti-terrorism campaigns and experiences in experimental equipment the further they approached the modern age.

An American individual, under the alias of Six, accompanied by high-ranking Officials from the Special Air Service, offered him a chance to be a part of a new organisation. She, of course, was referring to Team Rainbow. Six described their uses in Counter-Terrorism, being more active than the standard National Militarist organisations that were dotted around the world. They wanted him on the development team as the key figure to Operator Gadget Maintenance and Development in Offensive and Communicative Gear, or the Rainbow G.M.D. as they referred him to. The only catch to the agreement was that he would have to undergo further training with the Special Air Service, leaving the Royal Marines, as a reserve Operator within Team Rainbow if the time needed it. And with the promise of some of the finest tech advancements around, he accepted.

Being approached a year before their activation, he became one of the first members of Team Rainbow since its dismissal, undergoing most of his service training within the SAS ranks. Because of his connections with both Team Rainbow and now the SAS, he soon was introduced to and befriended the four notorious Operators, Mike Baker, Seamus Cowden, Mark Chandar and James Porter, otherwise known as Thatcher, Sledge, Mute and Smoke. Specifically becoming close to both Seamus and Mark for their similarities and personalities, the SAS deemed Frankie as fit for transfer towards Team Rainbow, beginning and constantly training with them. He became the G.M.D for full time with this new organisation, tampering, upgrading, changing and advising new Operators to new pieces of equipment. He even grasped a hold of developing instruments towards members of the Spetsnaz, FBI and GSG 9 services. An outside operations group, also tied to Team Rainbow, then gave Frankie access to High Frequency Sonar Gadgets, which he began to tamper with, and edit/test. This took up a lot his time, where several pieces of visual-centred equipment were instead being sent to a fellow staff member responsible for mending gear.

Prior to the Vegas incident, Frankie received an influx in field training, preparing him for all the harsh conditions that may call for his aid if the threat grew too large for the operators to handle. It was useful to have his additional training, getting him back into the feeling of fighting for the freedom and protection of those vulnerable to terrorism. It was quite an easy skill to revive, as it felt almost innate that he could function under these stressful situations and provide an armament of supportive communications for the majority of his comrades. It was here that a shipment from Third Echelon with all working parts involving sonar equipment was given to him, and thus he began to work toward his own equipment he hoped to employ for specialists of reconnaissance.

His specific field of operation became highly useful in terms of befriending the specialist Emmanuelle, and soon they became great friends. Their knowledge and sharing in technological tools used within drones, gadgets and Operator-Signatures made for great conversation, making Frankie more at home where he was. Unfortunately, this amazing friendship, as well as the others, came to an end with the Vegas Incident. Losing three of his friends, Seamus, James and Emmanuelle, as well as the vast majority of team members, including newfound friend Yumiko, he was almost heartbroken at the losses served. Mike went into a solitary silence, and soon rose to power in order to ensure a safer future for Rainbow. Mark went on to training, and soon became more distant than before. The two still went near each other and talked, but it was never the same after Mark's feelings and despair from the massacre.

Before the official announcement of new-recruits being tracked down, Frankie volunteered to shift his work-place onto the field, acting as a new operator. When both Six and Mike questioned what he had to offer, he revealed the High Frequency Sonar Eyepiece, a more compact and stable version of the one he was given, allowing him to act similarly to Pulse, but with slightly higher accuracy and an ability to maintain control of his weapon during usage. Impressing both of the two with the gadget, he extended his training times with the surviving members and produced great results, now being identified as Sonar for his notorious equipment on hand.

Two years ago, Six reactivated Team Rainbow for Global Counter-Terrorism against a ruthless organisation without any discrimination towards who or what they neglected. They were far-fetched, and had no specific nationality of their own, but mostly consisted of American Extremists due to the influx of volunteers (Though they still hold members of each respective nationality). Wearing ballistic masks of pure white, they went on to gaining the nickname, The White Masks. Specialising in unorthodox acts of unspeakable atrocity and over-the-top assaults, they began to process huge chains of biological-chemical weaponry. They were unforgettably proven as a capable force during the Bartlett University Siege, where masked and armed individuals struck heavy gas chemicals against innocent civilians, students and nearby law enforcement personnel. At that same period of time, five operators, not yet identified nor confirmed by Six to the rest of the staff in Rainbow, were deployed into the gas-ridden environment to end the threats, succeeding in their mission. Whilst claiming the victory, the terrorists clearly had won by example, killing far more than Rainbow could ever compensate for during that siege. It was a dark day for not only America and Rainbow, but the modern world as they knew it.

Six knew how bad the cost was, and so set out to enlist the best Operators she could find in order to restock themselves as a formidable adversary against the White Mask threat. Members of the toughened GIGN of France, the advanced GSG 9 of Germany, the skilled FBI CT-Unit of America, the unrelenting Spetsnaz of Russia and the ultimate SAS of Great Britain all combined together as the first 20 unique initiates to Rainbow, all known for their skills in individual equipment and tactics. Amongst these were some of the less well-known, but equally as talented Rainbow personnel, training within the ranks without being recruited from other major CT units. They fought hard, and heavily, against the threat of the White Masks, travelling world-wide to bring an end to their age of tyranny and war crimes. But they weren't enough, and when one cell was wiped out, another seemed to appear of out thin air. More special operations personnel were recruited from more wide-spread countries, Spain, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Hong Kong and Canada, as they pushed harder against their foes. There was a period where they were massively successful in claiming victories, beating back an almost impossible-to-defeat organisation. However, just then the Bellagio incident occurred.

Returning to a state where the shadows of long-lost Rainbow operators had fought bravely, Bellagio Hotel within Las Vegas was laid under a huge hostage siege, heavier than ever before. This time, however, there wasn't any gas used. Hundreds of people were killed, many more caught in the crossfire outside of the hotel. Explosions and make-shift firebombs from all around were set off as a distraction to buy the White Masks more time to liberate the hotel and claim it as their own fort. It only took an hour for Rainbow to eventually arrive and this time they had more operators than they should've gambled with.

A vast majority of their specialised operators were deployed near the Hotel, moving in to recapture and execute any terrorists within the area of operations with extreme prejudice, knowing it was going to be more than any average firefight. They had little-to-no intelligence on who was in the building, if any hostages were still alive or how many they were up against. On that day, what is known as Rainbow's darkest hour in the most recent era occurred. Sparing as many of the details as possible, the White Masks had deployed a vast number of highly trained terrorist personnel, all with individual tactics greater than the standard rookie. These were the Elite of the terrorist organisation. Alongside those wishing to commit martyrdom with suicidal vests, they ambushed the split teams, cornering them into short, but bloody engagements. It went from hallway to hallway, corridor to corridor, floor to floor, room to room. Even cases of close-range fighting occurred, testing the strength of any operators who dared to go close enough. Operators on both sides lost numbers, and the once renown tally of CTU forces started to decrease rapidly. The White Masks were yet to give up, playing their final card in releasing a new chemical weapon. Similar to the chemical gasses they produced months ago, canister and packages of white phosphorus were used within the building, setting alight most of the hotel, killing almost everyone inside. Both the White Masks and Rainbow lost far too many, and very few escaped.

After the deployment of incendiary explosives, the remaining White Masks withdrew from the area, many hunted down and killed by other law enforcement figures. Very few Rainbow Operators survived the incident, and Rainbow was left crippled, almost defeated by what they had gone through. Once again, Rainbow had claimed a victory, but with an irreparable cost. Now down to little to no surviving members, Six temporarily relieved herself of Active Command, full of shame and dishonour, and acted as Team Director. In her place, she announced the emplacement of one of the few surviving veterans. As the oldest active member of Rainbow, Michael 'Thatcher' Baker was announced as the Operations Director.

With this came a new era for Rainbow. New Operators from worldwide CTUs had to be selected, with communication skills, combat efficiency, adaptability, usefulness and cooperation being key to both Six's and Thatcher's satisfaction, meaning they would be prepared to test those who they personally choose even after training. Once again, Team Rainbow is about to fluster with new individuals preparing to undertake highly extensive combat scenarios, before they will be deployed as a first-response assault force against the White Masks. Because no matter how strong they are, there's a way to cripple them beyond their own repair...

So, here we are with my pitch for a rebooted Rainbow Six themed Roleplay, based around the style and structure that Team Rainbow consisted of during the events of Rainbow Six: Siege, as well as following and extending the plot-line that was briefly visited during the game's release. To make it slightly clearer, we will be creating our own independent operators from any chosen Special Forces, preferably CTU based, with a familiar and unique ability to make them stand out amongst the crowd. The characters will hopefully be undergoing a small section of testing and training towards the beginning of the IC, where I'd like to introduce characters to one another and form rivalries, relationships and connections between characters, later providing difficulties within the future operations. From then on, operations against the White Masks will begin and the bigger picture may start to open up.

I'm hoping to see a decent cast of operators and characters created to mix both camaraderie, hatred, rivalry, friendship, love and tension between one another as they are held accountable for replacing the legendary CTUs that had paved their path. With a serious focus on the brutality of Counter-Terrorism operations, as well as the connections that many of these characters build over time, I hope to deliver a good character narrative at a high-casual to low-advanced rating. This means that the consistency of posts means that they require some decent length, detail and ability to keep on meeting said criteria. These Operators, all in the hands of Six, Thatcher and other veteraned members of Rainbow who are to be making a return further down the line, will come under the stresses and daily routines of training, relaxing and fighting against a globalised threat that shudders the very foundations of peace and prosperity. From America to Russia, Japan to Britain, Germany to France and Poland to Italy (And more to come), these operators will navigate the globe and attempt to form the greatest successors they could possibly become.

One key feature for this Roleplay is that missions can and will sometimes fail. Depending on the actions in some linear objectives, multiple outcomes can come out of their shells and reveal themselves as a staple and permanent outcome to their tale. Characters may receive injuries and can sometimes potentially suffer from death if they do not play their cards right. As tensions with the White Masks rise, so do tensions when out in the field. Keep your characters as aware as you would need to be to survive the onslaught that is Counter-Terrorism operations...

Rainbow's Base of Operations

Rainbow's headquarters is heavily outlined for both leisurely and operational purposes that provide long-term provisions that all members of staff can utilise. Here is the list of all the Wing's and Departments of the Base.

North Wing

The North-Wing houses the Department of Operations. Arguably one of the smallest buildings on the base from an outsider's point of view, it keeps most of its least valuable assets and materials upstairs without any worry. On the ground floor is the main hall, as well as several small offices that are barely used. It stands rather empty on this floor and is mainly used for the purposes of announcements and larger briefings, as well as assembly points for certain operations. Many rows of fixated seats are aligned in this hall, though are closer to the back and front. But the entire structure does not find its name there...

The Department of Operations gains its traction and importance from its layers beneath the surface. Spanning across a large area, larger and wider than the surface building itself, most of the staff responsible for managing and operating behind the lines of allied territory are placed here. Countless offices and smaller departments for technology, research and development, intelligence, strategic support and other critical areas are scattered throughout these hallways and corridors. At the very middle sits Six's Office, heavily encompassed by concrete walls and soundproofing to conceal all of her confidential conversations. Nothing gets out of that room, and barely any information has ever seen the light of day, minus the artificial flickers of the bulbs above. A secondary utility of this Department is to act as an underground fortification. Rainbow has understood the possibilities of attacks and assaults from other adversaries and uses this as its main defensive stature against critical threats. Because of this, all operators are told to report to the Operations Department in the event of any crisis localised near the base.

The Eastern Wing houses, mainly, all apartments for the operators. As Six highly encourages all Operators to be on site at all times, as deployments can be sporadic and unprecedented at any time, the construction of a higher-classed living space was given to the staff of Rainbow. Its primary purpose, however, is to act as a place of comfort for recovery and relaxation off-duty, as many operators in the past have suffered from severe mental struggles after the losses of allies, loved ones and comrades. Without departments like these, there was little to no way to balance their comfort with being a part of Rainbow.

Rooms provided to all Operators are for single-use, primarily. They have about as much space as a well-rounded apartment, all with accessibility to televised products, musical space and fully functioning sanitary appliances. Each comes with a small built in kitchen to remove the need for any mess halls around the building. Food is frequently provided by international governments to make sure they live somewhat comfortable lives outside of field operations. On top of this, the ground floor houses a lounge for staff to simply sit down and relax. A pool-table, table tennis stand, a few dartboards and larger screen for televised leisure is also kept as a gathering spot for multiple individuals off-duty. Like all buildings on the Base, an Armory is kept nearby in the events of any emergencies.

South Wing

The second largest surface-level wing, this holds the Training and Testing Department for gear and operators alike. It features three individual warehouses, some multi-story, where construction teams on site can easily alter its interior design. Featuring governmental projects, such as slots for walls and easy construction, this allows Rainbow to consistently alter the designs of their training grounds and create new scenarios on the fly. Within a few days, the new interior design, including walls, furniture, entry points and so forth, are all ready for testing. The drawback is that sometimes this can slow down the training programme that operational staff might want to keep on going. To make up for this, a third building housing exercise facilities, from swimming, gyms and other high-priced exercise equipment is there to ensure the Operators get all the training they are required to.

Acting as the largest Surface construct on base, Rainbow holds its airfield and deployment centre from here. Airstrips for carrier aircraft, helicopter pads for more localised deployments and vehicular stations for transport gear is all stationed within this sector. Consistently guarded by special operations groups from all around the world, a strong garrison is assigned to ensure that the base is kept at its peak stability. All staff working at the airfield are unaware of Rainbow's presence and are not to be allowed to discover of such statures. Only the most trusted military individuals from NATO's nations are placed here and are restricted from access to any of the other Wings of the headquarters. Any members of staff who are not considered Rainbow Personnel are detained and brought to authorities elsewhere for reassignment and instruction.
