Peak human strength, agility, and reflexes
-Since his mother's dad was Captain America, James also possessed some of the Super Soldier Serum in his blood, giving him the power to be at perfect human performance.

Master tactician
-While both his parents and grandparents are military veterans, James is a natural at leadership and command. He finds the strengths and weaknesses of every situation and team mates, and uses it to the best of his ability.

Accelerated Healing factor
-Wolverine's healing factor skipped a generation and went into James. James regenerates damaged or destroyed tissues of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. In addition to accelerated healing of physical traumas, his healing factor makes him extraordinarily resistant to diseases, drugs, and toxins. The speed at which he recovers is dependent on the wounds he gets. Minor cuts, or stabs heal almost instantly, but bullet wounds, and deep cuts could take minutes up to hours to days to fully heal.

It is also important to note that James has never been injured to extreme points, or tried to test his limits. He doesn't plan on seeing how far his healing can go.

-Wolverine also passed down his sense of instincts, being able to sense something wrong, picking up on scents, and if angered, he will be nearly unstoppable. His rage at this point though can leave him vulnerable in many cases.

Bio: I've had a lot to live up to. My parents were in the Peace Corps after Avengers and other super heroes joined forces to finally defeat the major crime organizations and villains. My mom was the daughter of Captain America and Sharon Carter, and my dad was the son of Wolverine and and a rancher he met in the desert in California.

My parents had their own abilities, so it was no surprise when mine started to show at a young age. I grew up in a world where mutants and humans were one, they lived peacefully, and we did for years. But like I said, I had a lot to live up to.

At the age of 4, there was a giant movement that shocked the world. HYDRA had reformed, it surprised everyone since Johann Schmidt had finally been thought to be dead. My grandfather who was now older than he was, felt responsible and started to fight against them alone. To everyone's shock, it turned out my mother was behind the new movement... Grandpa Rogers eventually stopped her, and ended the movement.

She was sent to a maximum security prison, and I was left to be raised by my father, and my grandparents, as well as friends of the family, but no one looked at me or my dad the same. When I was 12, I did what anyone did at the time: enlist in the Avengers Academy, which is like a high school, but add super hero classes into it, and dangerous games of dodgeball.

For six years people either treated me as if I was some sort of god, or they were afraid that I'd be like my mom and start attacking everyone... I tried to just do my best, and focus on doing what I can for the world. I am one of the top in my class, and so I was invited to join the Advanced Training Program, to essentially become an Avenger if the world ever needed them again. I don't want to let anyone down.

Annabelle Boltagon
-Anna and James are friends, but have only had a few exchanges in their lives. James doesn't really like Anna's "I'm better than everyone" way of thinking, and he let's her know that. One day during her first year of the academy she was getting harassed by a group of kids making fun of her physical appearance. James quickly put an end to that, and have grown respect for each other.

Weapons: Grandpa Rogers taught me how to fight with shields, and gave me my own one when I was strong enough to carry it. This Shield has the ability to produce an energy blade at the bottom half, and split into two, making two shields going on both hands (top half is mostly a shield, bottom half has the energy blade).

Personality: James is very much like his grandfather Steve. He has a deep sense of responsibility, and does his best to help others. He hates people who think they're better than everyone, and due to his other grandfather, he has a bit of a temper if provoked. He doesn't let anyone talk poorly of his friends, and especially his family, but at the same time he's ashamed of what his mother did. He tries to keep the balance of being respectful and honorable, and giving in to his anger and instincts.

Other: Has a habit of saying "Bub" a lot when angered.. "Thanks Grandpa Logan"

The Next Avengers

Hello, if you're reading this, that means that you have some potential. About 40 years ago we started a war to end all wars. Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Inhumans, the list goes on; we all joined forces to take down the biggest villain force we have ever faced. Ever since then, crime had hit an all time low, people started to respect and accept people with powers... and for the first time in a long time, the world felt safe.

That was until about 16 years ago when a new anti-mutant force known as the New HYDRA appeared. Us Avengers had grown older, but we managed to suit back up and take down the threat, but not without a price...

We aren't getting any younger, us heroes. We have families now, gray hairs, and a fear that someone or something big will come for Earth, and we won't be there to stop it. So, with some hard work, determination, and a large amount of money, we started our own school. It's like Xavier's place in New York, but bigger... and better.

Tony Stark's School for the Protection of Earth, or commonly referred to as 'Avengers Academy' will take people of any age, with or without powers, willing to defend earth and teach them to use their talents and skills for good. And lucky for you, you have this invitation. I don't care if your grandfather was Reid Richards, or Grandmother is Mystique, or you yourself got bit by some radioactive beetle, or you only know how to use a gun. I know that you have potential to really make a difference for the future. You are the future the world needs, and when the world is in peril, and the people are looking for their hope, they'll be looking for you.

Alright, this is an RP based on the Marvel world where new young heroes train to become the next Avengers in an academy made by Tony Stark! There are a lot of students here that are training, but only the top of the class are selected for the "Next Avengers Program" which are essentially more advanced classes and sometimes "field trips"

Now since this is a Marvel RP, there'll be appearances of classic heroes, but the goal here is to be the next line of defenders. I'll leave it up to us to create the world we are in, and you don't need to understand any comics to join! This is supposed to be fun, and if you're a marvel fan, you're more than welcome to join! We will create our own world and universe these heroes live in, so there isn't a Comic Book we are following!

RULES:

1) You can make any character you want, with any backstory, with any age! preferably I'd like to have these characters ranging from 16-21 years of age, but that doesn't mean we will! You can have powers, or no powers!
2) I encourage people making descendants of famous heroes, but if you wanted to have a parent or grandparent be a certain hero and someone took it, talk to them to see if you can be relatives or something
3) DON'T MAKE YOUR CHARACTER OVERPOWERED! You can't be invincible, or over powered. Make your character fair and fun to play around with!
4) These characters won't be masters of their powers, that's the fun of it! Show weakness, and struggle, it'll make it a lot better!
5) I don't feel like I have to say this, but no One liner posts please! I believe in quality over quantity, but a single sentence like "He walked into the room" won't help the story!
6)There will be romance, action, adventure, comedy, you name it! Have fun with this!
7)You can create completely original heroes with powers if you'd like,

Hello! I'm glad you're interested, and don't worry about your knowledge in the comics, I don't want this to be a strict "follow the characters' rules" type thing, we'll make our own stories for these classic heroes in a sense!

The academy they are at helps train people of all ages, but the most common ages within the school are 16-21 year olds. There could be cases where people get their powers at a younger or older age than that, but I like the idea of having our heroes in that stage of life where they now have to really take full responsibilities for their actions, and having that constant weight on their shoulders

A Kid Avengers type thing! (sort of)

Hello! If you've seen me around the site, or even look at my profile, you can probably guess I'm a very big marvel fan (Bet you can't guess my favorite XD)

I know I wanted to try a "Kid Avengers" type thing but I didn't want to go with the cliche apocalypse plot, but I think I have one that isn't too stereotypical!

The Plot

The world is in a golden age. It has been 40 years since the Avengers took down the ultimate threat to earth. Every hero and every villain fought one last battle to end it all, and the heroes were victorious! Mutants and humans started to finally live in harmony, crime was at an all time low, and it was the beginning of a new era.

A couple years into this age, a revolution of anti-mutant activists appeared, and claiming to be the new HYDRA. Although older than they were years ago, the Avengers were once again victorious, but not without loss and devastation.

Afraid that another evil force will arrive one day, Tony Stark and other heroes started to create a place where people with or without powers could go to train to one day defend the world from possible dangers. Descendants of legendary heroes, new heroes, and even people who have no powers all join together to learn how to use their powers and abilities in an academy.

There are advanced classes for students who are top of their class, which is code named the "Next Avengers Program" Although there are few who make it up there, they are some of the brightest and best the world has ever seen.

When a new, unknown threat attacks the school, it is up for the Next Avengers to defend earth and its people!

So it pretty much a RP where we are students at an academy that trains people with powers, or incredible abilities. These students could be descendants of famous heroes like Captain America, Black Panther, Daredevil, Jean Gray, and many more! or they can be new heroes that have their own origins. They could also be people who have no powers but use other means to help the cause!

I want this story to have the characters struggling to master their powers, and having the weight of being the Next Avengers on their shoulders. I want there to be serious moments, but also comedic moments, romance, and a little bit of everything! They're young heroes, and have to channel in their skills and learn to work together!

The last part with the new threat is kinda a foreshadowing, and something we will put in if we can keep this RP going!
