Amelia finally smiled as her opponent decided to make this a close range fight. She had been hoping for as much, since it actually made her life easier as well.
"Litwick, use Ember!" She commanded her partner, who replied by following instantly, unleashing a cloud of embers on the Pichu. She hoped her partner would be able to hang in for a rougher fight now, since she had brought Litwick into the range her opponent had wanted. But since she had, she figured it was best to go for an offensive approach and try to finish them off.

Joshua and Amelia followed their companions, with Amelia instinctively keeping close to Leander while Joshua hung out towards the back of the group, casting the occasional glance behind him to make sure no one was following them again. When they arrived at the arena they were aiming for, Joshua knew Nathan was right that they should be cautious but proceeded with the others since it was rather late to bring it up at this point. When they were ambushed, Joshua remained calm, looking at the Dark Dorm members surrounding them. When he saw how the leader of the group threatened Amelia, he wasn't happy and a little weirded out.
"Dude, no, just... no. Lolicon much?" He said to the leader. When Leander got angry over Amelia getting hurt, he couldn't help but smile. He had never met the girl before tonight, but she struck him as very shy and maybe someone who needed to support of others. It was good to see Leander considered her a friend. "You know, I'll take you up on that duel offer as well. I'm sure it'll be entertaining. Though, given your rather spotty reputation, how do we know you'll keep your word?"

Amelia meanwhile, was trying to stay calm. The grip on her arms was painful and she was sure she was going to have some bruises in the morning. When she saw the look the leader of the group gave her, she felt a sense of dread pass over her and a chill go down her spine. Luckily, it seemed she had more friends, or at least allies, among the group then she thought, as Leander, Megan, and Joshua all stepped up to duel the leader of this group. She just hoped this would be the worse things got.

Amelia frowned as events played out before her. The boy who introduced himself as Lin was giving off a rather angry aura and this made Amelia rather nervous to interact with him. She had seen what people were capable of when angry and she had no interest in seeing anything like that again. When the boy spoke though, she realized something was different about him, as he didn't sound like anyone she had heard before.

Before she could dwell on this, another boy approached and began talking to them, introducing himself before addressing Lin. This one also sounded weird and it confused her. Maybe it was a guy thing? She honestly didn't know. Turning back to Lin as he responded to the question asked at him, she again couldn't help but feel as though the boy was rather angry at something.

This hostile attitude seemed to have an effect on Lunaria, who quickly got up and began to leave. Wondering why this was, Amelia quickly had her water get in front of Lunaria before shaping it again.
Why are you leaving? Didn't you come to talk? it read. After giving Lunaria a second to read it, Amelia had the water return to her before having it form an arrow that arrow that pointed at the two boys that then turned into an innocent question, though she was careful with her wording so as to avoid upsetting anyone. Why do you two sound different?

Amelia wasn't alone for very long, as soon she had not one, but two other people sitting at the same table as her. The first one to show up was a foreign looking boy (or, was she the foreign looking one? She didn't know.) who might've been around her age. He sat down near her but said nothing, so she wasn't sure what to do with him other then to let him be and continue practicing while keeping an eye on him.

The second one to show up was a girl who was definitely older then her, again with black hair but this time looking more like she lived in the same country as Amelia. This one actually decided to speak with her, though she didn't address the boy, which Amelia noted seemed to annoy him a bit. Deciding she would address each of them, she drew out the rest of the water from her bottle, which then floated over so it was between her two new companions. She focused on the water, manipulating it until it spelled out the message she wanted it to say, which she then as rotate slowly so that both of them could read it.
Hello. My name is Amelia. Nice to meet you. it said. She gave it a few seconds before shifting it to an arrow, which she had point to the boy before shifting into words again. What's your name?

@Ammokkx If you get a phone, I'll be happy to play. I just start but I got several new cards, including a copy of the rarest card I needed from the set they just released.

It's a very fun game.
