Amelia noticed the Phantump's confusion at what she was offering and thought over her words a bit before speaking again.
"There are other humans outside of this forest. Lots and lots of them. And you could try to scare them all, but some of them will be harder to scare then others. And, if you and I get in a lot of battles, you could become a big, powerful Trevenant." Amelia said, trying to see what would interest this Phantump the most. "Plus, think of all the places you could see and the friends you could make. Would you like to see places outside of these woods and maybe learn new ways to scare people?"

Joshua had expected Amaya to struggle a bit. He had no expected her to flat out attack him, especially with a magic like a Dragon's Roar. He didn't have time to react and took the hit right in the face. The cold didn't bother him but the sharp bits of ice in the attack definitely cut his face up a bit. He dropped Amaya in surprised and backed away a bit. When the attack finally faded, Joshua's face had several cuts on his face, some of which where bleeding, and he admittedly looked a little annoyed. Turning to Mayt, he shrugged.
"I freaked Amaya out by suddenly picking her up. Nothing special." He said. He turned toward Amaya and placed a hand on her head. "Calm down, you should know something like that won't take me down. The real question is why did you react so violently? It's not like you at all."

"Mr. Fellows is with the other kids. This little one was having trouble finding a roommate and is very, very shy. Not Amelia bad but still a little bad. So, I figured I'd introduce her to Elyse, see if your daughter would mind possibly having someone share the room you two live in. Of course, if Shadow here is uncomfortable with the idea, we'll have to find an alternative solution." Joshua said to Rose.

Elyse meanwhile accepted the book before turning back to Shadow.
"Who's Avary? Your brother? Maybe a boyfriend?" She asked.

"Don't know... can't remember." She said quietly. She thought a bit more before looking back up at Rin. "Draw?"
