"Tsc!" Veronique clicked her tongue at Mina, she really wasn't going to back down on this one without a good reason, not when it was about HER home, "And you have a lot of nerve to talk like this to someone while using THEIR things, on THEIR house. Who do you think you are, again?"

Upon hearing Bathory's name, however, Veronique frowned. "Why are you mentioning that filth woman's name? Recent events... are you telling me that..." A sing if pain ran through Veronique's mind as she tried to recall what had just happened, "Damn, what's that? The last thing I remember is being at a party on the hag's, erm... mistress' mansion, before following them here... somehow and then, then..." As Veronique seemed to recall something even if it was just a little detail, her eyes grew as wide as saucers.

"You... you're..." Veronique pointed at Mina again with her mouth now agape, "You are Mina, right? The crazy woman that killed everyone, even that dirty Ba- Ba- Bathory woman. What are you doing here? And, stop using my things right now! I'm hungry and not in a good mood." It seems that even recognizing Mina wasn't enough to shut Veronique's mouth. What kind of torture waited her in the future if she didn't learned to put her tongue in check?

Veronique thought about ignoring the mention of snakes and the possible innuendo contained in those lines, but the name Apophis rang some bells in her head and she couldn't help but ask, "Hey, does anything of this has anything to do with that mutt woman, how was it again... Anubis? The names sound suspiciously similar."

So, as I go about finishing my long overdue character sheet, I have a question:

Last time the Chaser's power was awakened by the Crimson Sky, is it the same this time around? I looked in the introductory posts but couldn't find anything.

Edit: One more, would you prefer a more Japanese-sounding name because the city seems to be in japan?

Most of the Chasers' powers were unlocked by contact with the Crimson Sky is more accurate. Either way, you can pick whatever fancies you more as long as it's not too outrageous.

Also, the name is really up to you, but a Japanese guy name Johnny Whatever would be kind of silly, not? Pick whatever fits your character the most.

Alright alright, let's calm down before this gets into another fireball. First, let me say I was just joking Lugu. Higball is flying solo at the moment, not something I completely endorse but that's your action, and I'm sure you're aware of the consequences of it. Secondly KoL, Lugu's issue is confusion which even I had upon reading the post. I know Highball is traveling alone, so when the blind old man approached a group I wasn't certain myself if this was suppose to be like, the god hand or something, or if it was just a mistake on Windel's part. Whihc Windel admitted to, so that clears things up.

It was an issue because it makes it hard for everyone involved (And even those not involved) figuring out exactly what happens. Whatever happens to this "Group" may not be happening to Highball, because as Lugu said, she went alone. Of course common sense would dictate that Windel meant to say Highball, but for all we know someone like say, Omen, might have ran off to find her or at least followed her without or without her knowledge. And to be completely honest, I'm almost certain that Windel copy/pasted that post from the last version of this RP, where there was a group.

But that's been cleared up now so we know that whatever is happening in Windel's post is suppose to be happening to Highball. Edit shall be made for the sake of clarity, because in moments like this every detail counts.

Pardon the double post, but I just had to come and give out a sigh. I know this is another case of two people posting basically at the same time, but... sigh. This is patronizing in the extreme, Cypher.

I've seen posts that are way harder to get the meaning of than that one, plus I already said, my commentary wasn't meant to be offensive. Really, you all just need to chill out, this RP is already walking on a thigh rope, if these arguments tick Windel off you know what's gonna happen.

What? This 'issue' was resolved before you started typing. It doesn't matter about ambiguities in character; the blind man could think there's a whole circus and I wouldn't care. The problem is about ambiguities between writers. According to Windel's post, he approached a 'group'. Highball is not part of a 'group'. He didn't approach 'what he thought was a group'. I can't operate if I'm not given explicit bounds, because I'm not allowed to generate situations and settings for myself. Windel even admitted that he made a small mistake, thereby acknowledging the necessity of an edit to clear up the misunderstanding.

I know you don't like me, but this is unabashed pulling at straws to find ways to rebuke me. If you're so eager to get on my case, I can just leave.

EDIT: what do you mean she's with a group, Lucius? There's been no mention of this. Every other character is still in Iredele.

God, when did a mere suggestion ensued such a reply? Furthermore, I typed it without reloading the page, so Windel's post actually "ninja'd" mine, nevertheless what I wrote is still relevant as an answer and even if it wasn't I don't think a complete inoffensive remark would deserve the above reply.

I never said I dislike you, really, when was that?

Try to think again before being this harsh, what I really dislike is offensive people, let's not being another argument, please.

PS: I don't remember any of us ever mentioning that the players can't create their own situations, just look at Kenji for a good example.

Seriously, this issue deserves an edit? I fail to see the logic here. If the man is blind (and possibly mad), how can he be sure that Highball isn't with a group? A little more of flexibility would go a long way with things like this one.

As Maria mused about the state of the world and waited for Donny's answers, she continued to flash her fangs, looking way to content with the game she had set for them.
