Current Tomorrow is the final day of my current position before my promotion is in effect at work. Unfortunately, they're having me "clopen" by closing Friday and opening Saturday on my first actual day lol

When you're watching a show on a streaming service and the service decides to remove the first season you were watching but nothing else. Are you serious right now

@Marlowe I've been saying that for years and have been met with indifference each time by mod staff.

@Crimson If you both have ghost mode on and friend each other, the system tells you when they're online. It's one way to tell if you're friends with a person.

I think the first actual anime I watched was Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. After that it was Fist of the North Star. Unless we're counting either Avatar: The Last Airbender or The Boondocks, then it's one of those.

I don't think Avatar and Boondocks count, IMO. I've always considered anime to be Japanese-made, particularly but not always with the distinct style that we know as anime today (as things like Chinese donghua exist). At best I would say things like Avatar or even RWBY and what not fall into an "anime-inspired" or "anime-influenced" category. I know anime as a term in Japan includes all animation in general, but that's not so much the point or content we're talking here I'd think especially as we're not looking at this from a Japanese perspective.

Honestly, it's kind of a slippery slope. I've just never been one to directly consider non-Japanese animation anime, that's all.

will the real slim summers please stand up
I remember a series of manga about various Legend of Zelda games. Like a two part about Ocarina and Majora's Mask.

Yeah, there's a couple Nintendo-licensed manga out there. I know Pokemon has the long-running Pokespec manga, probably a few others I'm forgetting.

Huh kinda like ancient Internet history.

More or less. I used to be super into it as a kid, but nowadays I can't remember anything about my log-in or even tell you about what dragons I had or whatever. It's been years since I've regularly visited it. The dragons still look pretty cool, though.
Wassat?

It used to be a thing back in the older days of the internet. People could go there to "acquire" a dragon egg, which they would put in their signatures on forums and other places they frequented. Each click helped hatch your egg, and then once they were hatched you could later breed them with other dragons to make your own lineages or style of dragon (like the ones @Tyler Night has above). It's been around since the early aughts, so that's why I'm surprised the place is still up and running.
