Feature Request Thread

@LegendBegins Could we get a dice roll command in the future? I know the Guild has a dice roller, but I figure it'd be better if the roller could be used directly in posts rather than being a separate thing you'd have to link from your dice campaigns.

Also, what about other die rulesets being added to the system? Right now the dice roller works off a XdY+-Z system. However, some systems use things like degrees of success (for example, if a rolled die is above X or equal number, then it's a success). You've even got things where some numbers are considered double successes, such as 10s. We can technically roll for DoS in the roller as it is now, but it requires a manual count to ensure what one has rolled.

Could it be streamlined to display such formulas on top of the regular DnD-style dice rolling? Something like:

5d10>7 = 1, 5, 7, 7, 9 = 3 successes (2 7s, and the 9, which is greater than 7).

If the 7s in this case were considered "double successes", then they'd display in bold font or something. At least that's how I've seen it work with bots on Discord.

interested! i've been on a zombie kick myself recently. interested in the intended tone, though: would you say it's more gritty and down to earth like TWD or TLOU, or more loose and over the top like dead rising or zombieland?

The former. I've always preferred the more gritty than the wacky when it comes to zombie apocalypse settings.

Hey y'all. It's Kuro, and I'm bored waiting for other RPs to kick off again so I figured to give myself something to do. I'm just kind of writing this as I go, though, so feel free to add any input or ideas you might have yourself.

This roleplay is your traditional zombie apocalypse, much akin to something like TWD or whatever. The world had just fell apart as a virus quickly spread and zombies began to eat people. Some places managed to be evacuated in time, others were bombed to ruin. Unfortunately, for our cast of characters, they happened to live in a tiny, insignificant town and were abandoned to the undead by the military, which had more pressing matters at hand and no resources to spare to evacuate such a small community.

Fast forward a few days or so. Maybe even weeks, I don't know. The town has grown quiet, save for the grunting moans of the walking dead. Luckily for the street, a surprising portion of the neighborhood have managed to survive the initial fallout; at least those that didn't evacuate themselves to wherever during the first few days. Everyone still has food, medicine and other resources, but supplies are finite. No one knows when the water and electricity will shut off, leaving the neighborhood's survival and future uncertain.

Perhaps it is time to work together with your neighbors, so you don't all starve or kill each other over slim pickings.

Real Questions about Fictional Worlds

If all that's preventing Clark Kent from being recognized as Superman is his glasses...
...then what about all his government issued photo I.D.?

And speaking of that, since Cyclops can never remove his glasses, does he even have any photo I.D.?
I'm thinking he either better make sure he never gets pulled over when he's driving as a civilian, or he's been given a pass on the "no glasses" photo rule by instead having "MUTANT" stamped across any card he has.

I think it depends. I've only been asked once before to take off my glasses for photo ID, which was when I renewed my driver's license. They didn't ask me to remove them when I originally got my license, so it's probably new policy or something.

As for Cyclops, it might be the mutant example, I'd feel. But there are some mutant characters that can temporarily nullify one's power so maybe he asks them for assistance.

You're saving yourself a ton of money by not being near one. I like Taco Bell as well, but anything other than the 5 dollar box is outrageously expensive there.
