Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Hi. If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am.

You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

Wait, after having my character accepted but then also rejected because 'limited slots' or something, this RP is now looking for new members again?

Your character was never "accepted and then rejected"; no sheet ever was. The only sheets that were ever accepted for this roleplay were those that I had looked over and chosen to fill the slots I wanted. I had stated this from the beginning that I was going to hold people to a deadline and then pick the cast from the list of sheets that had been submitted by the deadline.

However, since we've had about a third of the cast leave or ghost, I decided to open up the roleplay to another submission deadline for anyone who would be interested in filling those slots so that I can keep a full cast.

"I figured we could grab some supplies before we left." Kali explained, clearly still uncomfortable at the thought of leaving Gladys behind as she looked back to her neighbor's door. The thought nagged, but it was a choice she'd have to accept. "Food, water, or anything else we might need to evacuate. We don't know how long we'll be gone. Better to be prepared than unprepared, I figure."

Twisting the key in the lock of her apartment's door, Kali opened it and let them both inside. She had hoped it wouldn't take them long to gather some things, as the commotion down the hall worried her. The tense atmosphere was bound for someone to do something stupid.

"Here," Kali spoke as she walked over to a closet, and grabbed some reusable shopping totes to hand to Isaac. It wasn't the best option, but it was what Kali and her roommate happened to have on hand and in surplus as a result of the law banning plastic grocery bags. "The kitchen is over there to the right. Top cabinets above the counter should have some cans and other things, and I think there might be some leftovers in the fridge. I'll be down the hall if you need me, okay?"
