⚘ A Brief History

I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside

This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Cynthia looked over to Riley, she looked sad. Why was she sad. It wasn't her that was dead and well Atlas was an ass. Maybe not ass enough to be killed but hey, still an ass. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a small travel pack of tissues she kept on her. More to pull apart when she got nervous than for tears or wiping her nose but hey, seemed they would finally fill their true function. Opening the packet she pulled up a soft tissue and handed it over to Riley with a goofy smile on her lips, as if she had just handed the girl a check from Publishers Clearing House.

"It's okay. No it isn't. Why not? Because people are dead that's why. Well people die all the time. They do but not like this. Well hell, if you want to talk weird deaths what about that girl in Shady Pines? Which one, the one that thought she was a glass of orange juice? No, not that one. Oh the one that swore she was the daughter of Napoleon, always wanting the strawberry section of the ice cream and claiming it in the name of France? No, not that one either. Then which one? The one that thought she was the second coming of Jesus and figured she could walk on water. Well she did. That wasn't water, that was ice. Same difference, she still fell through it and froze to death. Well it was water underneath. Yeah what ever, but yeah, death happens. But is death and murder two different things? Same end result, lack of a pulse. True. But Riley didn't do it. Well of course not, she isn't frozen right now! Not that! Oh the murder? Yes the murder! Oh right, yeah Riley didn't do that! We know!"

Tim just stood there as his eyes widened listening to Cynthia ramble on and on and on. Shaking off the bemusement he looked back over to Riley and nodded a bit. "Yeah, I know Riley. You were never a suspect for this," he said as he heard a voice say hello. Turning around slowly his brow rose seeing the new face enter the crowd. "Now that one on the other hand..." he muttered under his breath looking at Jacob. Cynthia whipped her head around and bright smile came to her face as she waved her hands in the air towards him.

"Hi Jacob! Who? Jacob! Oh him! Yes him! He came to see us! Yes he did!"

Tim placed his palm over his face. "Here we go again..."

@BeautifulSnow Okay, first thing before I can really take a closer look - the color code needs to be for the entire Cs, not just the name on the mothers. The child needs a color code change entirely. (ANd the items you type in should not be in the color code but outside. PLease take a look at the other Cs's posted for reference) Also the history sections need to be put in each of the Cs's and be different for each (History is from the persons perspective. So there will need to be two and they need to be in the correct location in each Cs for ease of reference - everyone's is the same so it makes it simpler to have a uniform layout) - Also there is at least one thing in the childs that needs to be filled out and the "anything Else" has to be on both Cs)

@Nallore Actually that brings up something on most of your Cs's - you need to change out where your typed texted is colored - Look at mine and compare to yours to see how that is. (Honestly, I need this fixed in all your cs's in all the Rp's. It bleeds together and makes it a huge hassle for me and the rest to read)

@BeautifulSnow Sadly no, a person is limited for supplies not only because of how much could fit in a pack but weight. So a person couldn't carry twice as much just because they need to carry twice as much. It still has to be limited. For a child that small actually now that I think about it - will be able to carry a lot less than an adult, and an adult will have to carry the child some. So the adults pack will actually need to be dropped by 1 item slot and the childs will need to be limited to 5 items(though I will accept 1 full change of clothing as 1 item on the child). No firearms or ammo on the child - only a knife. (Slice of life)

@BeautifulSnow Ahh okay. Well taking a look at the Cs, the only one I can see being skipped was "previous occupation" - Major/Minor are to be marked N/A on the sheet if the person didn't attend college. Skills are a max amount allowed type of deal, no min required. So actually, should still be filled out.

@Nallore Okay, well just to double check and all. You do need to read every post in an RP - you never know how it will effect you or those standing around you. Not saying you aren't, just putting that out there so stuff isn't missed. Sometimes people don't tag others, or forget or edit it in and you don't get it. Every post in every Rp both IC and OOC should be read to stay up to date. (Especially in one like this where people are supposed to be trying to solve the crime)
