Personal Style: The woman has style to say the least. Most of her clothing is custom cut to make sure it fits right and is tailored. Even saying that though she prefers comfort to anything and that is one of the reasons she takes care of her wardrobe and what she wears. Slacks, vest, button shown shirts are the usual dress though she is not above wearing a dress if the situation arises. Heals are a usual must with as odd as that may be, she just loved them; they make her even taller than she already is and being a Captain in this day and age it helps to add a few more inches.

Her hair is ever changing but nothing drastic. Always kept well groomed and in order unless something messes it up. She keeps her nails short since she will get her hands dirty and she found early one that keeping her nails manicured was just a plain waste of time. Personality: Anisa is how she feels a Captain should be. She is tough, she is fair, she is the final say of all things. She can be a bit difficult to work with because she will put a bullet through someone's skull without a second thought or snap on a person if they do something stupid. She expects the best from her crew and for them to do what she says. She is the chain of command and she will beat the every living hell out of someone with it until they understand. She is very opinionated about her beliefs and while not religious in the least, she hates the Alliance and doesn't hide that fact. She is judgemental of pretty much everyone, sizing them up and testing their loyalties and their backs.

Under all that hardness though is a rather soft heart. She loves her ship and her crew and will protect them with her dying breath. She can sense wen something is off, once again, both with her ship and her crew. The way they move, speak, look, it tells her what she needs and she is rarely caught off guard because of it but it does happen. Anisa is fiercely loyal to her crew and expects the same from them. Though much of the time the things she does or say do not make sense at the time it can become evident later on. Her heart is in the right place but sometimes her mind over rides that fact. History

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: Anisa was born and raised on Shadow. A simple girl wanting a simple life. That was until the war broke out and her home was destroyed. She ended up joining the war as a Browncoat, saying her only driving force was that justice no longer existed in the Verse, so it was her job to seek Vengeance for those that died. She fought in the battle of Serenity but doesn't ever recall the infamous Malcolm Reynolds. She did her job, seemed he did his; as well as either could.

History: Born on the planet of Shadow, Anisa was the daughter of cattle ranchers. A simple girl who enjoyed a simple life. She grew up in the grit and grim with dirt under her nails. She loved being out under the endless skies of her home world. It was said that the prairies of Shadow stretched out so far under such a clear sky that a man could see from here to God's plan and when she was younger she believed this. That God's plan for her and her family was that of this life. Just enjoying roping cattle, herding them, and riding out under the sun set.

Then times changed and Shadow was one of the first planets to stand against the Alliance's aggressive means of unification. Many of the people joined up to fight, Anisa at this point in her life wanted nothing to do with war. It was not that she was for unification, she was just content and happy in the life she had. Why mess with perfection? While out on a sale of cattle, her families ranch was attacked and by the time she returned everything was gone; her world was destroyed before the world became a ghost.

That is when things changed, the simple girl became what the alliance had created. Losing everything did not break her, it remade her. Joining the Independents she took point and she took charge, even fighting in the Battle Of Serenity. The one simple farm girl became a force to be reckoned with, rallying those around her to keep pushing no matter what. Even after the war was over, it was not over with in her mind. Those that caused the death of her planet still had not paid the price for the extermination they caused. Vengeance became her main goal.

After the end of the war, she did what many did; she survived. In the shadows of space, she picked up a Firefly Class Ship and took jobs. While many became smugglers, she took a still more active approach. Taking more jobs than not that would harm the Alliance in some way. While they have never been able to prove her treasonous actions in a court of law, the charges have been looming over her head. Something she does not care about, to her you cannot commit treason against a government that should not be in power.

When the signal broadcast about Miranda Anisa's blood boiled and she was one of the first to get back into the fight. Once a Browncoat, always a Browncoat. Now while she is not on the front lines, the information her crew gathers, the supplies they loot from the alliance and deliver to the Independents is invaluable. Anisa is planning on taking a more active role in the war but for now she has to keep her, her crew, and her ship alive. Out in the Rim that is difficult with more and more planets coming under attack but the crew carries on. In her mind, Vengeance is hers because she is tired of waiting for God to do the job.

Anisa has known Jackson since they were kids. They grew up together on Shadow, were both there for it's destruction, and joined the Independents together. Then they were separated during the Battle Of Serenity. It was after she had to inform him that his wife was dead. They didn't speak for a time after that but once Anisa became the Captain of her own ship, he was the first she called. She wanted someone she could trust at her side and she knew he needed someone to lean on. They both knew first hand what it was like to lose someone they loved and not be able to do anything to stop it. He is her closest confidant and the only person that knows the backwoods girl that hides beneath the harsh and cold Captain of Vengeance.

@Peaceless I think it would depend on the cybernetics. No enhancements or anything, just basic functions I will allow though. Prosthetic's basically but with the tech on the show, I can go with they would function pretty normally. Drawings are okay but I would steer away from anything Anime like since this is a Slice Of Life type Rp, you are going to want things that look realistic. Large eyes wouldn't work for this, or people that say that they are in their 20's and look 16.

@Peaceless Yeah, thankfully the long list helps keep things going; most of mine currently that I am running are between the 3 and 7 month mark on the forum ~knock on wood~

There are a couple of links provided - one right above the CS that has the skills listed out that can be used. The other is to the Firefly Wiki where the planets are listed. You can pretty much find anything there. Granted a quick google search will probably yield you with a crap ton of information. (And I always recommend Firefly the series or Serenity the movie, lol RP or not, that was good stuff :P) - If you have any concerns or anything, just drop me a line. It is pretty straight forward. Space Western, space ships but wild west areas and dress, all human races, no magics or anything to deal with.

Premise

Mr. Universe said nothing can stop the signal. He was right. The recordings from what happened on Miranda were sent out and flooded the 'Verse. Everyone knew now. They knew of the Pax, how it destroyed so many lives, how it created the Reavers, how the Alliance was behind it. We now have seen what a world without Sin truly looked like. It was anything but the paradise that some had hoped for. Nothing can stop the signal.

It has been three years since the crew of Serenity sent out the signal and lost several of their own in the fight to do so. A new war has broken out, the Browncoats had pulled back together to stop the Alliance with more fervor than ever. They have more behind them than ever and even more opposing them. Many of the population has rioted against the Alliance for what they have done, a veil pulled off from over their eyes to see the truth. Yet some still cling to what the Alliance feeds them.

The crew of Serenity is still out there, somewhere, but do not be concerned about them. Right now, your job is to chose a side and to survive.

Overview

Setting: The 'Verse
Time Frame: 3 years after Miranda's fate was broadcast
Rp Tags: Sci-fi, Fandom, Space Western, High Casual, Large Group, Character Driven, Military, Slice-Of-Life
Type Of RP: A Twist on the Firefly Fandom set at the beginning of a new war that has broken out between the Browncoats and the Alliance.

We will start out in two divisions; The Alliance and The Crew of Vengeance.

The Alliance is made up of the rich and powerful, those that are fighting for unification still to this day. They will do anything to stop the signal and to put an end to the Independents known as Browncoats once and for all. People in the Alliance have lived privileged lives. Never having gone hungry. They are highly educated in their fields and some can be quite ruthless in their tactics.

The Crew Of Vengeance are a mixed bunch. Most are Browncoats, some fought in the previous war. All are smugglers at this point no matter what brought them onto the ship. Most will have a record with the Alliance and be targets; though a handful may not. This crew has been together and took over much of Serenity's known stopping points after Miranda was released. A rag tag group of people that some are not sure they want to be part of this war or not yet, but they stick together because Vengeance is home.

Both sides in this Rp will be faced with various tasks to complete; from information acquisition to smuggling weapons. It is up to you which side you want to play but remember, at any time you can switch sides. (If the price is right and it fits your characters personality and circumstances.) - So in truth, you never know who is on who's side.

War is raging on many of the planets. The Rim planets are nearly over run with a sudden rise in the Reaver Population. People are fighting to stay alive or to die before the Reavers get them. The Border planets are constantly either under attack by the Alliance because they rebelled or switching sides so quickly no one knows where they stand. The Core has even broken out in war and rebellion this time. Many of the planets wanting to break free of the Alliances control, while others are standing strong and refusing to leave; fighting for unification and providing much of the Alliances weapons and military force.

What will happen is up to you. How you react to the situations, what information you can gather for what ever side you are playing for, what goods and services you can get together. Thing is, even though a war is ragging, you still have to survive life itself. Even if you are in a zone where it is peaceful low food, fuel and supply stocks are constantly plaguing the Browncoats. The Alliance is not without problem either; with the sudden shift of some people you never know who you can trust; your best friend, your wife, could suddenly turn on you. High ranking Alliance members are dropping like flies and no one knows who is doing the killing yet.

Now, get your shit together and let's get moving. The 'Verse is counting on you.

  What To Expect From Your GM

  Greetings and salutations, I figured it was prudent to let you know a little about your GM and what you can expect. I have been at this RP business a long time, decades. So I have a pretty well worked out way of how I run things and what I expect in an RP. I am a bit picky but that only comes from years of dealing with many different things when it comes to RP.
  
  First, you should know that I am serious about Rp even though it is a hobby. I don't put up with B.S., trolls, flakers, and so forth. I will kick someone from an Rp if need be and honestly I don't feel bad about it. I look at it this way, if I kick you it is because of a rule you broke so I am mearly enforcing it.
  
  Secondly, I do expect the rules I put forth to be followed - all of them. I expect a certain level, a high level, of respect and courtesy to be shown to myself and to your other Rpers at all times. If you wonder what that is, read my Guide To Rp Etiquette - which you should have by now since it is part of my rules.
  
  Thirdly, my biggest pet peeve has always been and will always be those that do not follow posting rules set forth in RP. To not to do so is to be disrespectful to me and your fellow Rpers. I enforce posting rules more strictly than any other rules. To break those is a great sin and you shall be punished.
  
  Next, while all of these rules may seem a bit much and I may come off as a hardass, I am actually a very laid back person and am willing to work with Rpers on most anything. As long as the lines of communication remain open and honest, I will bend over backwards for my Rpers when I Gm.
  
  I do check posting habits and log ins. When you join an Rp of mine I add you to my friends list. This will show me the last time you logged in, even if you are set to hidden. So if you lie about logging in or being gone, I will know.
  
  I am a firm believer of if you have time to spam and lurk you have time to post. It is all about managing your time wisely. Though most here on the forum are younger, I treat all Rpers as adults; with that comes personal responsibility. If you join you will be held to the same standards I hold my self to. I will refuse to let people join an Rp of mine that have given me issues in the past.
  
  If you are new to Rp or still learning, I am more than happy to help you to become a better Rper. That includes things on teaching how to prep posts before it is your turn to post, how to do colabs, how to create and stick to your characters, how to improve posts, how to find inspiration, how to get a post done when it needs to even if you have no inspiration and so forth.
  
  I like to get to know my rpers. What do you do, what your schedules are like, who you are. It helps me better understand my Rpers and how to better help them along the way and/or make their Rping experience more enjoyable.
  
  Now that you know this, please make sure to use it as part of your consideration for joining the Rp. I know what I have said will lead many to not join but I assure you those that do will be taken on a wild ride of twists, turns, unexpected events, laughs until your cheeks hurt and many feels!

Climbing out of the back of one of the ambulances with the ball bat in one hand and her medical kit in the other Amy looked around at the chaos going on at the Town Center. "What in holy fucking hell?" she asked herself before she started to organize things. There were not enough ambulances to get everyone to the ER right then, the place was over crowded and with so many medical professionals, along with others, making a run for it she just would have to set up a make shift base camp right then and perform her bad ass healing right there on the streets. Hopefully no one would think she was making human sacrifices; she had had to deal with enough today already. Maybe earthquakes weren't so bad after all?

"Alright, make a run two you. Tag them Green, yellow, red, or black. Greens can get the fuck out of here. Yellows can wait until later. Reds, tag and haul their asses to me. Black, toe tag them for the morgue," Dr. Chang instructed of the EMT's that were there with her that were not already setting up gurneys and make shift tables for her to work on as people started to try to crowd in on her complaining of bumps and bruises.

"Shut the fuck up! If have enough energy to bitch about a wound and walk over here you are healthy enough to go the hell home and have your momma kiss your boo-boo!" Amy barked out at the numerous people clamoring for her and the Emt's to help. God she hated emergency medicine.

"GSW to the chest, possible pneumothorax," an emt said as he carried a girl over bridal style in his arms and set her down as gently as he could moving as fast as he could on the gurney near Dr. Chang. Amy nodded and went to work. The girl was unconscious, which Amy was more than grateful for. The last thing she needed was the girl to be screaming and crying as she dug out the bullet, cut into her chest by the rips to shove a tube into the place between her lungs so it could re-inflate.

"Doc, what about this one?" another EMT said as he helped a man hobble over. He was shot as well, in the thigh but the bleeding was nearly out of control. Amy looked over but went back to work on the girl as they set up Iv's for her. She hoped that the ER had things under control but there was nothing she could right then to help them. She had to focus on the chaos around her. Packs applied, lung inflated, she moved over to the man as the EMT's rushed the girl off to the hospital. They didn't bother with the ambulance, just pushing the gurney and rushing off. With the way people were freaking out in the chaos, driving would probably take longer than just running at this point and no more dangerous; well hopefully no more but people were stupid.

"Fuck, the bullet hit the femoral artery. You two, hold him down, I get kicked you'll need a doctor," she warned as she changed out gloves as quickly as she could before grabbing a suture kit and a scalpel. Wasn't today just a barrel full of fun?

The nurse was focused on her work and Danica's screaming; so focused she hadn't noticed the teeth. That was until Elizabeth took the latex band from her arm. Looking up she saw the girl speaking and saw the teeth. That was all Oh screw this, my name won't be Bloody Mary needed to sending her running from the room screaming in horror about a monster down the halls of the ER and running straight into a wall, knocking herself out and falling to the flood as the darkness took her.

Danica gripped the chair, the pain getting worse as Elizabeth came over to her. "Bubble bitch! Personal bubble!" Danica snapped as she placed her feet on the ground firmly and shoved backwards in her chair, sending it sliding across the floor until it hit the wall a good ten feet from Elizabeth. Grunting she took a deep breath. At least the pain let up some.

"You're giving me the worst case of PMS in history," she grumbled as she took a deep breath, maybe she should take up Lamaze classes. "I swear, you use those teeth and say anything along the lines of the better to eat you with we are going to have problems. Not that I don't like a pretty girl but I ain't a piece of sushi," she said as she still held her mid section.

She wanted to bolt, or take the woman's head off but she did neither right then. She hadn't felt like this in the woods until she came across red but even then it wasn't bad. She wondered if this whole teeth thing was new or if she was just really damn good at hiding it and the whole attack had made it come out instead of actually changing her. Either way she wasn't about to turn her back on her to run out, at least not just yet.
