⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Captains Office (Sealed) - The new Captain of the Retribution stepped from the door over to the desk and had a seat, resting her hands in her lap as she crossed one leg over the other. Her face was blank, not really believing that this was anything worth her time but she would hear him out. After what had happened in the conference room her patience was running thin. She had wanted to discuss other things, such as job assignments and more but after people were focused on what they could get out of the situation and wanting her to divulge information she would only share with her most trusted she felt it was best to not even deal with these Alliance folk anymore. Part of her wanted vengeance, in the truest since of the word against the Alliance. They had burned her planet and taken her family. Now they had taken her childhood friend. Harper was Alliance, or so she thought at this point, so was Carla and Foy - all three could take a walk into the black. She owed them nothing. Jahosafat she wondered just whose side he was on since there was no file on him. That she needed to find out.

As Harper began to speak Anisa cocked a brow, that was not what she was expecting; letting it roll around in her mind for a moment before she spoke. Resting her hands on the desk she leaned forward a bit and locked eyes with the man. "That's one humdinger of a story. So, who are you and why should I believe you?"

"Identity... yes, we may start there." The clean and polished Alliance Pilot reached into his uniform's jacket pocket. A note of caution took him, he darted his eyes up to Anisa to gauge her response at what amounted to a strange man wearing enemy colors shoving a hand into a concealed spot while alone in the room with her. He cracked a smile and held his free hand up, then slowly retracted his other from inside of his jacket. Held within his first two fingers was an ident card. It looked a little rough, as if it had been improperly stored or had seen a ton of use, but it appeared fully readable. "This is big. It's the last bit of who I am that exists in the Alliance. After you're done scanning it, I would appreciate it if you purge the system. If you don't know how, I'll do it. All of the data is clean. Just know that this person stopped being a person a few years ago."

Anisa took the ident card from him and flipped it over in his fingers a few times as she examined it. Slipping into her personal tablet she let it do its thing to pull up the information. Leaning back in her seat she started reading, her face blank as she read. Removing the ident card from the slot when she was finished she handed it back over to him and slide the tablet as well. If he was good enough to cover his tracks this well, she was sure he could do better than she at erasing any trace that she had pulled it up. "Alright Crispin. Why tell me this now? Could have kept up the ruse and exited the ship when we docked, never looking back. Why do you want me to know who you really are?"

"Lieutenant Harper will suffice." an ever-so-unhinged grin flashed for a moment, "Liam to my friends." He bent forward and recovered his ident and the tablet. As he delved into the root programming of the device, he explained. "I really was an Alliance officer. Fairly good one, too. Then lots of things happened. In the War, back at home, I'll spare you the details - Point is: I got stuck someplace very, very bad for three years, and I took the very first plausible opportunity to extricate myself from the situation. The problem was, I 'extricated' myself right back into the Navy." He chuckled for a second or two. This was definitely not the man that was piloting the ship earlier. "I have two more years as Harper before I have the option to re-up or retire my commission. That's two years of looking over my shoulder, praying that no one finds out. If they do, that's a world of difficulty."

He leaned in closer, dropping the volume of his voice a little, "If Harper dies... I'm a non-person again. But at least I'm free. Under the right circumstances, I can even fix my status. Your takeover is my big opportunity, but only if it takes. I use what I know and who I am now to keep this going. I've even got a list. Then we can help each other."

Leaning back in her seat, Anisa drummed her fingers on the desk for a minute. The tapping going staccato on the hard wood. It was a lot to take in, especially considering everything that had happened that day already. Letting out a short breath before pushing her seat back and standing up. "Well, this's something to mull over. I would ask how much I can trust ya but considering what I know about you now, thinking yer placing a lot of trust in me. Then there is this list your talking about. What is all that about. Oh, and then the big question," she said as she stepped around the desk ad leaned back against it looking down at him as she crossed her arms over her chest. "How does Harper want to die?"

The Pilot Formerly Known As Harper leaned back in his chair as Anisa walked around the desk at an approach. Decreasing space between one another was a time honored method of implying camaraderie, or attempting to intimidate. He steepled his fingers in front of himself again, his eyes glinting a telltale mirth. "Now that is an interesting question, isn't it? Harper could have easily been taken by Reavers on Whitefall. He might have been taken captive by terrible, bloodthirsty Browncoats, left to a fate unknown. Hell, maybe he had a routine shipboard accident." His face betrayed his interrupted train of thought. "Uh, that reminds me... stay away from the foremost lavatory on Deck A. Trust me." Shaking his head, he got back on track. "We have time to hammer out the details. For right now, Lieutenant William Harper is the highest ranking Alliance officer on board the Retribution. He has access to everything except the Captain's private systems (which can be circumvented), and he's probably the only remaining person the personnel will listen to. Well, except for the mercenaries. They'll listen to whomever pays them. Or no one. Hard to say."

"Oh, here's your tablet back. I'd prefer to scrub it with my terminal, but this should be clean enough with a cycle or two of overwrites."

Taking her tablet she nodded and set it down on her desk. "Well that actually brings up something. Jahosafat. He isn't in the files that I can find. He says he is the current ranking officer. So two things I need done is the Captains systems opened and information on this so called Doctor. As far as the two Mercenaries go, I'm half a mind to just jettison them from an air lock," she said as she glanced towards the door. Shaking the thought from her head she reached over and picked the tablet back up, handing it over to him.

"Go ahead, nothing I keep in there the Alliance doesn't already know," she said. She had learned long ago that anything put out in any electronic form was traceable, so she stuck to old fashion methods. Cocking a brow she stopped and looked at him. "Wait, what happened in the outhouse?"

"Yeah, about that... that guy was a jìn jiāo húndàn. He was our Doctor, said something about using unnecessary crew for spare parts... ah, vacuum seal malfunction with the waste reclamation system. It's supposed to be fixed, but I'm running an outside diagnostic from a proper shipyard before I'm setting my nethers anywhere near that toilet. Pulled him inside out. Through his ass. Easier cleanup than you might think."

But back to business, "I'd actually need to poke around the Retribution's systems directly to get any access to the Captain's files. Luckily, this has been classified as a Black Ship, I'm guessing due to our mutual enigma Dr. Jahosafat. The Retribution won't be broadcasting a damned thing about what's going on inside, except on regular intervals to specific people, and only by someone with Captain's access. This is both good and bad. Still, I'd need access to Quinn's office and cabin, see what he has on hardcopy. As for the mercenaries: I have no idea what to think of them. My interactions were not overly pleasant, but the stuffy one looks like he keeps up appearances. I'd prefer the opportunity to learn more."

Anisa nodded as she pushed off the desk. Well, we will take care of that tomorrow. Today has been enough. For now, lets keep this all between us. I trust my crew but there are others on the ship I don't. You are still one of them but we seem to have a mutual understanding for now. I have some others that want to speak with me before we close out for the night as it were. Go meet with Daphne and give her a run down on things you think she should know to pull night duty. She's a quick study and damn gifted," Anisa said as she stepped over towards the door and unsealed it.

"Alright, who's fucking next?" she said, her demeanor turning into the rough exterior she kept on deck at all times, as the door opened and she looked outside.

"Why my dear lady, I suspect that should be I." Jahosafat was quick to rise and tip his hat to the newly self appointed Captain of the Retribution. Anisa's eyes ran over him before giving a side ways glance towards Harper and letting out a long breath. This was going to be an even more trying day than it already was.

"Riiight.... Have a seat," she said in a flat tone. "Harper, we will talk more later. For now other than what we discussed, keep your part of the crew in line," she added in a firm voice as Jahosafat whisked by her and had a seat promptly as he removed his hat and set it in his lap. He did take such good care of his finery. Anisa had to force herself to keep form rolling her eyes as she closed the door and sealed it once Harper had exited the room.

The Preacher followed Foy up to the "Foyer" and glanced around letting out a long whistle of appreciation. "The Lord surely does work in fucking mysterious ways," he commented to himself before removing his coat and resting it over the arm of one of the free chairs in the room.

"Well, I suspect I will be needin' a bit of both. Cleanliness is next to Godliness but I have to continue to keep the look of a Shepard. So don't fleece me completely. It wouldn't do well for my flock," he said as he took a seat and grinned. "So where do you lay good man? A man of god? An orphan six days of the week? Or just an orphan?" he asked to Foy.

@mnkee Yeah, that's perfectly fine.
Yeah, just want to make sure. Hell, he hasn't said anything within ear shot of anyone but Milli, so people don't even know what he's saying.
Okay, know everyone is getting excited and such but please remember in IC no one knows that Rutherford is saying anything and in fact - any actions from the characters against him would be considered Metagaming - which is an auto kick from RP. (Hell even if they did know he hasn't done anything to warrant getting killed or hit or attacked, so forth.)

I'm not sure if people are joking about killing or attacking him anymore or if that might actually occur in game (or at least try to) so wanting to to be double sure to make sure the firm line is drawn. Now, he does something they see, sure - have fun trying shit - until then though remember the your characters, their personalities, the times, and such.

@Morose - Yeah go ahead with that. No worries.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden)
Interacting With: Jack

Tatiana smiled brightly up at Jack, giggling as her arms lay draped over his shoulders. It took her a minute before she realized that people were clapping and such for the wedding to be done and to congratulate them. Full of joy she looked over to them and smiled, still laughing with happiness. She had never felt, or at least could not remember ever feeling this bubbling with brightness in her life. Yet looking back over to Jack, how could she not? Even in these dark times there were still reasons to find joy.

"Shall ve?" she asked of him as she leaned against his side and slipped her arm through his. It was time to go over to the Rec Center and start the reception. Looking over her shoulder she thanked Ash for what he had done before her fingers laced with Jacks, waiting for him to lead the way to the reception site.

Over at the Rec Center, everything was set up. Decorations had actually been rather easy to find. Not many people were raiding places like Party City for supply. Their loss was Newnan's gain. Through various scouting and supply runs people had been able to bring back balloons, helium tanks, table clothes, streamers, decorations, and more. Sure, it looked like a backyard reception but Tatiana didn't care. It all looked wonderful. Tables were set up around the walls for people to sit at, a buffet of food was set out. Jim was already in there at the make shift bar set up, with a side arm. He wasn't sure if certain people were going to be allowed to drink so for now he wasn't taking any chances until he got word from Ash when he arrived to the site.

Mike had the wedding cake stowed away in the back for now, not wanting it to get ruined. He could wheel it out when the time was right. Everything was set and some from the wedding, as soon as it was over booked it back to their place to change before heading over to relieve those on duty so they could take part in the fun as well. A revolving measure for the night but it would do to make sure that everyone got a little piece of the nights festivities.

Ryan O'Reliy

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden)
Interacting With: Chloe, Riley

Ryan watched the ceremony and hooted when the couple kissed, looking over at Chloe and holding his hand out for his winnings. He was being rather smug about it but he had called it. Standing up he stretched out his back and looked over at Riley. "Hey, y'all ain't leaving me alone tonight with that boil on the ass of humanity. I'm sleeping over too!" he laughed before offering Chloe his arm.

"Come on, let's go get something to eat before everyone else gets their grubby mits on it," he added with a grin. Glancing over at Richard he was half surprised that the man hadn't clawed Ash's eyes out and run off with Thana in the middle of the ceremony but it seemed he had kept his cool. Granted looking at the man he wondered just how long it would be before Dick snapped. O.o

Then he saw the look on Sana's face.... Oh it wasn't Dick he needed to worry about right then. Turning he looked around for Bryn, though the two of them did not get along he knew she was the closest thing Sana had to family right then and from the looks of it she would need a shoulder.

Thana Martin

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden)
Interacting With: Miss Sally, Lyon, Ash

Thana glanced over her shoulder, feeling as if she was being watched. Seeing Richard looking at her it seemed that her feelings were right on the spot. Her brows furrowed a bit before turning back around. Miss Sally turning and seeing what was going on before shaking her head towards Richard and then looking back forward, squeezing Thana's hand and giving it a light pat.

Focusing on the ceremony Thana couldn't help but smile at the two getting wed even if she didn't know them. She had to give them props for being able to pull something like this off in these times. The wedding didn't take long and she stood, helping Miss Sally to her feet before she joined in on the applause. She kept it reserved but there was joy for the two in her eyes. She hoped to be introduced to them at the reception, she wanted to at least give them her congratulations.

"Come on you two, let's get to the reception now," Lyon said taking Miss Sally's arm.

"Oh yes, come now girl. Let's be on our way," Miss Sally added as she held her hand out to Thana.

"Thank you both but no. I believe I am supposed to wait for the Captain before leaving the wedding site," Thana replied. Lyon and Miss Sally gave each other a "look" before smiling and nodding. Heading off for the reception site Thana adjusted her coat and looked over towards Ash, waiting for him to take her to the reception site. She was his plus one after all, it would have been bad manners to do otherwise. Then there was the fact she was carrying weapons and the reaction from Richard earlier. It was best to stay close for now.

Sana Rouen

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden)
Interacting With: Richard

Sana smirked a bit as she got comfortable, though that smirk quickly faded as Richard facial expression changed. Looking over she spotted Thana and Ash, or who she assumed was Thana. Looking back at Richard she barely paid attention to the ceremony. Her eyes going back to Richard as he nearly gawked at Thana and then back over to Thana as her eyes narrowed. She wasn't mad at Thana, it wasn't her fault she looked like the woman from Richards past. She tried not to be mad at Richard but after hearing about the temper tantrum he threw and the fact he kept staring at her during the ceremony when she was sitting right there... It hurt.

Soon as the ceremony was over Sana stood up and gave Richard a look that could have killed. "Oh yeah, it's over...," Sana said with half a growl, it wasn't clear if she was referring to the ceremony or something more. "If your just gonna gawk at her, you can try to whittle your way into her bed tonight!" she hissed under her breath before she shoved past him, not caring if she knocked him over or not as she stormed off through the snow.

Making her way towards the reception site she felt her fist clenching as her jaw tightened but she was at least thankful enough that she had kept herself from screaming at the end of the ceremony or worse, decking the man. She might not have liked Tatiana but she sure as hell didn't want to ruin anyone's wedding. She figured she would grab herself a quick drink, a plate to go and head back to her place for the night. She was not about to watch Richard stare at Thana all night and feeling like a third wheel with her own date. Fuck that shit.

Gavin Comfort

Location: Five miles west of Newnan, abandoned cabin in the woods.
Interacting With: Ravi

"That's blasphemous! Ain't one never had too many cowboy accessories! What I wouldn't be giving fer a horse and some spurs right now! Length of rope, could hog tie some asshats I right could. Break my record I bet," Gavin laughed as he stepped outside.

"Now come on Ghandi, we's gots trails to make!" he added as he put his hat on. At least the day hadn't been a total waste. The man was dead, the girl was at peace at least and wouldn't be rising to eat anyone else. He had gotten a nice knife off it, some more food and water, a flashlight, some matches, and some fine cigars! In the girls pack there was some clothing, a bra, a few rolls of gauze and medical tape, some antibacterial ointment and band-aids, nothing much but it was something. The girl also had a Beretta 9 but no bullets.

Making his way out into the snow, Gavin started pushing towards where he thought he had heard the sound come from. Granted he didn't know where Peachtree City was, he wasn't from Georgia - they could be heading right there for all he knew. Hadn't seen any signs lately to place where they were and neither of them had a map but it was adventure time and Gavin was all about adventure.
I'm sitting here laughing my ass off - you all want to kill him for a few words so far? Oh I can't wait until this shit unfolds. You're gonna be smashing your screens by the time I'm done MWahahahahahahahahahahaha
Oh you all are under the delusion she can be rescued this evening? How cute.
@Dragoknighte Not full fledged yet but part of her back story and my back up characters for if Sunie dies or I bring in a secondary. Either way, I never introduce an NPC into any Rp that I leave open for control of others. I checked the rules and there was no rule about people being allowed to Bunny characters, so I didn't know it would be an issue.

If parts of the back story or such will be used in control of the gm to bunny the names, I will need to rework Sunie and resubmit her. (Sana is a long standing character concept as you know and Lola is another character of mine you haven't Rped with)

If need be I can edit my first post to remove them completely and await for an edited update removing them. Right now I cannot reply to the current update because of "Ethics of Rping" - So how should I proceed because I won't reply to it as it currently stands.
@mnkee @Sigil @rivaan @Sputnik @Morose

Sorry that took so long to get up, counters are currently reset from my last post.

Elizaveta Romanova

Location: St. Etheldreda's - Undercroft

Elizaveta took a cool breath, glad for the water as it helped with her current weakness. The skills she had used took their toll on her but when she thought about the alternative she found it was worth it. It could be perceived as much to go through to save a single soul but it had compounding effects. What energy she expelled during the saving of one when faced with a mass grave was the same. Save one or many, she would feel the same. Thinking back to other situations such as this she had face on a much grander scale, it evened out over time.

Smiling over at Gerard with a softness she turned to the Sister Mary and nodded in understanding before her eyes drifted to the bishop. He had no reservations about Mary leaving now considering the circumstances and that everything seemed to be reaching status quo, though he would request they not bring any more mobs to the gates this evening. Elizaveta coked a slender brow before pushing away her thoughts and looking back over to Sister Mary.

"It vould seem that everything is in order dear Sister. Shall ve be off? ve can take my carriage, a little more rest before ve arrive vould be velcome as opposed to valking or some other mode of transportation this evening," she said in a kind voice. Holding her hand out to the young nun, she awaited her to lead her out for the evening. Looking at her guards she went back to her thoughts for a moment before addressing them in Russian. They seemed put off by whatever she said to them but they nodded in understanding and agreement.

The Bishop in the meantime motioned for Gerard to follow him. They could speak elsewhere while other members of the cloister took care of placing the body to peaceful rest. It was short walk to the Bishops office where he sat down surrounded by the splendor that the Catholic Church provided. Picking up quill and parchment he began to write down what he had been told by both Mary and Gerard, plus what he had witnessed in the undercroft. Every so often he would go blank on some detail and ask for Gerard to help fill in the blanks. A question here and there but thankfully he seemed to get most of it together before long and Gerard was dismissed, thanked by the Church for his service.

Over at Wyndham Manor, things were not as calm...

Millicent Wyndham

Location: Almack's

Inside of Almack's it was all the pomp and circumstance one would come to expect of such an event in these times. Candles flickered as the music played, everyone adorned in their most luxurious of items and garb. Young women held fans in front of their faces as they tried to catch the eye of potential suitors, a light giggle and a slow bat of long lashes usually accompanied any introduction they were excited about. Tables of food set along the walls with various sweet and savory finger foods, glasses of wine and champagne were carried about on silver trays by service folk in their finest. Various smaller drawing rooms were off and down down hallways were women gossiped and men spoke about business, some playing cards together and trying to match wits without being obviously offensive.

Out off the veranda of the main room potential couples walked with their chaperones not far behind, whispering in each others ears things they dare not say for everyone's ear. High hedges and mazes of greenery created hiding places were they could try to steal a moment without causing a scandal but if they were discovered, a match could be forced so the chaperones were keen to keep just enough an eye on them to know when to break it up and when to let them be found. It all depended on if the family was pushing for a match between the two. Far too many had been forced into engagement contracts this way but it was the times. Even with the threat of the Soulless running about London, it did nothing to stop the so called frivolity.

Millicent looked as if she might end her own life; evident by the blank expression in her deep eyes as she spun around the floor in Lord Rutherfords arms on the dance floor. Her mother looking all too pleased with herself to see Millicent out there with the Earl. Her sisters thankfully were being ignored by Mrs. Wyndham for the moment and took the opportunity to seek out suitors of their choosing for the evening. Very little was making Millicent enjoy herself that evening but she held her ground and let the man continue to lead her on the dance floor as the music played. It kept him away from her sisters, that was all she could ask for right then. That and the cease of belittlement from her step mother. How she wished her father was there...

"Smile Miss Millicent, or those looking on might think we are not enjoying ourselves," Millicent heard in her ear from Lord Rutherford. The grin that came from his lips made her skin crawl under his fingers. Layers of silk seemed to melt away, letting her feeling his vice grip on her waist and causing her to want to throw up in her mouth. "Or should I find a more accommodating partner for this dance?" he hissed as he locked eyes with her and motioned towards her sisters.

Millicents eyes widened as she felt her heart drop into the pit of her stomach. Slowly she chiseled a smile on her features as best she could. "There we are. You should smile more, it is very becoming. Not as handsome as some, but you will do nicely."
