⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

@Morose - On day 7 girl (still on extension technically but it will be lifted after your next posting.)

Newhope

Atticus eyed Daphne for a minute. Her pride showed no bounds it seemed. He could understand it taking a bit to get back to the ship considering what just went down but she shouldn't have been gone in the first place. She had responsibilities here. The ship was being sold, that was common knowledge. To just walk away and think that was fine showed just how irresponsible the woman was. He could accept that from perhaps a teenager but Daphne was twenty and six years. a full grown woman who was supposed to be a pilot for ship. Shaking his head a bit, he spoke "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." His tone was firm as he spoke to her, following her as she finally got to work.

"“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them," he added as he stood there and crossed his arms over his chest. "In other words it was a shit thing to leave the ship in the first place and let all of us do the work when you should have been here. Grow the fuck up," he said before turning and grabbing another crate. Hefting it up before he started to make his way out of the ship and back to the docks. Sure the preacher was full of vices and sins but he never left a job undone and others to carry the load for him.

Setting the box down he heard Harper speaking and sighed a bit. "Might want to ask Dorothy when she gets back, not sure if I am even allowed to say anything. All I do know is supposedly Dorothy left me in charge in her place while she went off with the barber," he said. He knew what happened but he wasn't about to say anything to the Alliance pilot without running it past Anisa first. "Oh well, lord never gives us more than we can handle." Rubbing the back of his neck a bit it popped before he continued. "Speaking of which, I need to go update her. Can you help Daphne with the remainder of the crates? There are only a couple left to be moved to the dock holding. Have you seen that ebony doctor?"

Jahosafat finished up the office and about ran smack dab into Anisa as he locked up the room. He gave her a quick run down of where he had cleared and where he hadn't. "Okay, heading down to the docks and then the buyer. Get it done and report to Dorothy," she said before she started to make her way down the hallway.

Over in the toy store the old man looked over to Fitz. "Why thank you lad, glad to see someone has some appreciation for it. Quite an old set it is," he said brightly, obviously very proud of the set. "Do you play? It has been ages since I have had a worthy opponent," he said as he motioned to the chair sitting to one side of the table it was displayed on. "Or are you in the market for something in particular?"

The alleyway in which Mei came up in was dirty but that was to be expected in these sort of town. The buildings were high, the alleyways narrow places to stuff unwanted goods and do horrid dealings. The main streets were cleaner but with that came crowds. Thankfully she had come out further north of the Docks than the rushing crowd she had caused. It was calm there and no one really seemed to be paying her much attention at that point. There was lines of stores and street venders, people walking this way and that. Out of the shops that seemed to have the easiest routes to go into were a dress shop, a toy store, a leather shop, and a book store. The rest seemed to be rather over crowded but they were tourist spots to sell trinkets and restaurants to feed the masses, so it was to be expected.

Kyra & Sana

Location: Merchant/Smithy
Interacting With: Various
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kyra sat down on an empty barrel and waited for the job to be done of the various items she had brought in, slowly running her fingers her Ash's fur as he rested his head in her lap. Over at the Merchant Sana was haggling over the price of torches with the shop keeper, not about to pay more for them than they were worth. Especially considering the fact she could take a few materials and make them herself. Right then she was just in a hurry to get everything taken care of before the hour was up but not in so much of a hurry that she was about to pay gouging prices on anything.

The apothecary eyed Thomas for a moment but gave him a slight smile. "A dealer never reveals his sources," he said as he leaned down and looked at the lot. If he told them how he got them or whom he got them from there was a chance they would walk right out of the shop and seek them elsewhere in hopes of saving some coin. It wasn't anything against them, just a general rule of the trade. You never gave away your sources.

"As far as the rest, I have everything but the salt peter. That I can get together quickly for you without trouble," he said as he righted himself, drumming his fingers on his chin when asked about the price for the beetles. "Fifteen copper for each, 90 for the lot; and cage," he said. It was a fair price.

Picking up the coat the leather worker gave it a once over, poking his fingers through the holes in it before nodding. "Yeah, I can have this ready in that time frame," he said before glancing over towards Cyneburg. "Sure thing Miss, over there, pick what you need," he said pointing to an arch way that connected him with the seamstress shop. There were bins filled with pieces of leather, other fabrics, and sewing implements such as needles of various sizes and threads of differing thickness and strength.

Looking back at the coat he finished going over it before resting it back down. "That be 25 copper for the job."

@Sigil Yeah, a bit. Go ahead with the edit.
For me it is a starred pm to myself for each Rp where I keep all the notes about the RP in there and a spiral notebook where I can quickly write things down and keep track of people's counters each day.
@Sigil Every time I read a Bazhooli post...

@Morose @Sigil - If you two wanna collab the Ryan/Gavin/Bea and the James/Tati convos - drop me a pm with the starters ^_~

Lola Holler

Location: North Of Newnan (Veterans Memorial Park - Corner of Temple Ave. & Jackson St.)

"This isn't Denny's mate," Lola said as she gave Alexander a cockeyed glance when he asked if they had a cup to spare. Did this look like Ikea? Sure her extreme home decor was second to none but even she didn't have a traveling china section for tea time. Sniggering to herself she pulled out her waterbottle-esque brita filter and poured in the powdered cocoa into it before closing it up and shaking it hard until it dissolved. Leaning in close to her grill she held the bottle over the heat radiating from it and let it warm up a bit.

Then he spoke again and Lola mouthed off. "I didn't ask you," she said before giving the longest most dramatic eye roll she could, complete with the flapping of her lips as she blew air out in a huff. Looking over at Thalia as she gave her two cents on the matter to counter the man she snorted back a laugh as she pulled the bottle away from the heat and opened it up. She took a long sniff of liquid chocolate heaven before gulping down the warmed drink. (And burping.)

"What she said," she ended up adding after the burp and motioning over towards Thalia. They weren't heading in the direction of the smoke. "But hey, you have fun checking it out," she as she pulled out the spoon from the MRE pouch and opened the cheese spread with her teeth. A few seconds later she had the stuff smeared all over a piece of bread that was with the MRE. God she loved the American MRE's, they came with so much in each. This one alone had the Chili Mac And Cheese, the cheese spread and wheat bread, a cookie, the coffee (she had given to Alexander), the cocoa powder, tootsie rolls, an MRE heater, book of matches, creamer, sugar, salt, red pepper flakes, spoon, napkin, moist towelette, and gum. It wasn't a bad set up for two girls on the road.

Thana Martin

Location: Outer Gate

Thana watched in silence as people said their goodbyes, watching as each person took their respective turns before Ash asked her to back him up and carried out the sentence. "Aye, aye, Sir," was all she said as she stepped forward with him and kept to his left shoulder rear. Taking a parade rest as the two exchanged their own personal goodbyes. Her brow cocked slightly as James spoke to her. A simple nod came from her in reply. "Let the journey begin," was all she said before James climbed into the truck and the gates were opened so he could leave.

The gate closed with a hard thunk once the truck was out and Thana stepped forward a bit. "I don't know the other two but I can speak about Comfort. The man is a walking White James... on crack. God help anyone that crosses their paths," she said quietly. She knew Gavin's crazy, probably better than anyone. She knew what the man was capable of. She knew James from growing up. Those two together... They were probably going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: Cab of the Truck

"Da, I knov I knov," Tatiana said before resting back in her seat and waiting for the goodbyes to finish up. As James climbed into the cab of the truck with her she smiled a bit but kept quiet until they were out of the gate and parked just outside. Turning in her seat she faced him. It was time to get things underway. She knew she could keep him here as long as she wanted now but she also knew that Jack was going to be going bat shit crazy having her outside of the wall, pregnant.

"James, vhy you do it?" she asked as she gave him a sympathetic look. It wasn't a session she was looking forward too but she felt it needed to be done. She wanted to make sure the town was safe but as much as she was worried about what could happen to Newnan, she was equally worried that James would go out and do something stupid since Ash hadn't shot him. The law of Newnan was well known, the fact he was still drawing breath was amazing in and of itself. "If you vere anyone else, Ash vould have shot you."

Gavin Comfort

Location: Back of the Truck

Seemed that everyone was saying their goodbyes and getting that out of the way, Gavin just sat back and waited for the truck to move. He wondered about the girl climbing into the cab but it seemed she wasn't staying with them. That all it was going to be her talking with James a bit and then she was going back to town. So it wasn't much of a surprise that the truck stopped outside of the gate once it closed. Gavin decided to take the time to get to know his fellow traveling companions.

"Well hey there darlin'. I be Gavin Comfort, nice to meets ya," he said with a broad grin. "Looks likes we's gonna be hangin' out heres while those two have a private speak, so why's don't we gets to knows each other? I can's starts. Likes I said, I be Comfort, or Gavin, whichevers yous prefers. Ranger from the great Lone Star State! I love smokin', drinkin, singin', dancin', strummin' the ol' guitar but what good ol' red blooded 'Merican don't?"

Ryan O'Reily

Location: Back of the Truck

Ryan looked over to Gavin as he started talking, glancing over towards Bea out of the corner of her eye as Gavin took it on himself to start this little pow-wow. Once Gavin's mouth vomit had finally finished he smirked a bit and pulled out his pack of smokes, lighting one up and offering one to Gavin. "Hot damn, thanks!"

Chuckling, Ryan looked over to Bea again as he took a long puff. "He remind you of that Peacock bitch in Clue? You know the one, they were at the dinner table and she started rambling on and on... I half expected him to finish his little speech with - My this soups delicious isn't it?" he said with a smirk as he rolled the cigarette between his fingers and then took another puff. Gavin fell out laughing, which made Ryan's brows furrow a bit. Just how crazy was this podunk?

Back inside the gate, Miss Sally just stood there watching and waving as the truck left. Froggy, wrapping an arm around Niesha as the truck pulled out and the gate closed. Things were never going to be the same.
~is currently Gming 6~ Running more than one Rp is much like being a part of multiple Rps as just as an RPer. Depending on how in-depth the story line is, how many players in the Rp, how often updates need to be made, and so forth will determine if it is a good idea for you personally to host more than one. Each person is different, some can handle more than one and others cannot.

I will say that you should keep notes for each of your RP's to help save time. When you are reading posts as a Gm , making a quick note about hwat someone's characters did or something you want to make sure to address in your next update makes things a lot easier. Check your Rp's daily if you can to see if any questions have been put out there that need addressing.

Getting more than 1 off the ground at the same time is something I don't recommend but if you have 1 Rp already running well and passed that initial flood stage, then you can try a second. I stagger mine as I open them when I have spots available for hosting. Started out with one, once that was running well, started a second. If one failed, check what went wrong, make corrections, then try again.

No matter what, don't spread yourself too thin - it is better to host 1 or 2 successful Rp's than to have a stream of failing ones. If you can manage the dedication and time for more than one, go for it but don't start a second if it is going to make the first suffer. That is a quick way to kill both Rp's with one decision and why it can be frowned upon when a Gm hosts more than 1 Rp at a time.
@Scallop I need an edit. You cannot respond to anything in the last IC post because it is a round a head of you. You were not tagged in it to a reason. You will have to wait for the next IC update in which you are included with. Currently your character is behind the time frame of EVERYONE else, so live feeds for them are in the future for you. What might be on tv for Felix, will only be told in the IC you are included in IF he turns it on.

Edit must be done before previous post counter runs out, or post is considered incomplete, invalid, and will result in removal from Rp.
