⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Interview To Camp Mexico Beach Announcement May 8th, 2019:
Over the course of the next few days everyone in the RP will be receiving Pm's from me to start character interview posts. Now, these will not be posted right away. These will be held until characters are taken away for interviews. We are getting a jump start on this so when the posting round comes for them those with multiple characters are not overly pressed for time and I am not having to juggle so much. Doing it this way will give us 2-3 posting rounds to complete them.

Now, some of you are quick to reply to things, some are not. Weighing an Rpers posting schedule, how they work with counters, and such has been weighed out. As well as the characters interactions so far and their Cs's. Some of you will be collabing out with me, while others will simply be given a structured post to go in and fill in where your character would answer a question. It may seem odd to do it this way and not just do it the same for everyone but hell everyone is different. Some with multiple characters may have 1 collab and 1 just fill in the blanks.

Below you will find a list of which characters will be getting what.

  • Ash Holloway: Collab Interview. (I WILL BREAK YOU! LOL)
  • Riley Ridgeway: Structured Fill In.
  • Amelia Payne: Collab Interview.
  • Jack Newnan: Structured Fill In.
  • Tatiana Newnan: Interview.
  • Alexander Polawski: Collab Interview.
  • Beatrice Decker: Collab Interview.
  • Thalia Carmichael: Structured Fill In.
  • Emanuel "Manny" Newman: Structured Fill In.
  • Erica Monroe: Collab Interview.
  • Nigel "Hadrian" Cooper: Structured Fill In.
  • Wayne Maldonado: Interview.
  • Hank Wright: Collab Interview.
  • Hunter Monroe: Collab Interview.
  • Victor Bonheur: Structured Fill In.

Now, please remember, once we are done you are to hold your Interviews until I post IC that your character has been taken away for interviews. Interviews are private and will be between the character and 1 person in Camp Mexico Beach. When it comes time for your to post your interview, you will still need to respond to anything that round that you hadn't before the character is escorted to the interview room. Do make sure that you do not let the interview taint any posts before it. I will be watching closely. Any questions, ask in chat or tag me in DM or drop me a pm.

Titian looked over towards the Lord of the Manor, seemed the man was set and he wasn't joking about it and this was no longer a game. Picking up his drink, he took a long sip of it, watching the woman known as Blush over the top of his glass and wondering what she would do. He didn't know the woman and this could go so many ways. Women were very unpredictable. At least the good ones were in his book. She could flip out, she could go for the storm, she could attack, she could jump on the table and scream like a little girl. Oh wait, no that was his act. Shit, she could do a cartwheel and sing a song for all he knew. Either way, he was interested to see what the woman had up her sleeve this time, she seemed fun at least.

Then again, this wasn't the only thing going on in the room. One woman had screamed and he had asked if she was okay. It was a rather stupid question but he didn't know what happened to make her yell. For all he knew she saw a spider or someone tried to pull a move under the table. She hadn't answered yet but then again, not a lot of time had passed. Leaning back in his chair he looked across from him towards the pale woman and tilted his head to the side. She wasn't doing or saying anything, just sitting there quietly. He had to wonder what that drink was she had but that could wait. He gave a sly grin as he looked at her and winked. Sure, he was spreading the flirting around but there were so many lovely ladies around, it would seem a shame not to spread the love. There was plenty of him to go around.

Year 5: New Day Update

Date: July 19th, 2012
Map in Original OOC post - NPC's In CS Tab

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: H6 (Quarantine: W)

Temperature: 83F (28C)
Humidity: High (Around 73%) - No Rain
Wind Speed: 12 MPH (19 KPH)
Cloud Coverage: Overcast

Alright, the dice have spoken and we have gone forward 4 days, we are half way through Quarantine. Pay close attention to the update because there is a massive amount of information dump. All characters will be in the conference at the start of this post.
  • Ash Holloway: The last four days have been calm for Ash, there is a shock. No more gut punches, not since the picture. How he is handling it personally, well only he knows that. His face is healing nicely. No stomach problems from adjusting to the food.
  • Riley Ridgeway: Well she ain't dead by the hands of Tati, so that's good. lol Her hair has sprouted in the slightest and she has a scarf that she can wear over her head. No irritation. No stomach problems from adjusting to the food.
  • Amelia Payne: Things are alright, hair is growing in slower than Riley's but she has a scarf as well to wrap around her head. Minimal irritation from the hair starting to sprout and just one day of minor stomach issues adjusting to the food.
  • Jack Newnan: Jack had one of minimal stomach issues adjusting to the food, no issues with Jamie at night. The baby is adjusting well.
  • Tatiana Newnan: Tati had two days of moderate stomach issues adjusting to the food and a bruise formed on her hand from where she hit Ash, but it is faded away mostly by day 4.
  • Alexander Polawski: Alex had one day of minor stomach discomfort adjusting to the food. He has been provided with a set of crutches to get around until his prosthetic is complete.
  • Beatrice Decker: She is sitting pretty. No stomach problems, no problems what so ever.
  • Thalia Carmichael: Is doing well as well. No stomach problems. Go figure. She is sitting pretty.
  • Emanuel "Manny" Newman: Manny has had bad stomach problems. Three days adjusting was hard. Forth day he is feeling better.
  • Erica Monroe: Doing fine, no stomach problems.
  • Nigel "Hadrian" Cooper: Two days of moderate stomach problems adjusting to the food but was fine by day 3.
  • Wayne Maldonado: Three days of farting enough to kill a cow but he is fine and thankfully by morning of day 4 the gas has stopped. Hasn't bothered him but his roomies probably requested a gas mask on day 1.
  • Hank Wright: One day of moderate stomach problems but hey, being in the bathroom with a fan was better than sitting in a room with Wayne at night.
  • Hunter Monroe: One day of moderate stomach problems adjusting to the food but he has put on about a pound now.
  • Victor Bonheur: Is doing great. No stomach problems adjusting to the food and his cough/sinuses are doing great. He is pretty much healthy has a horse now and back to his physical old self.

Day 1: Was a setting up structure day. Atticus came in and did a random assignment of jobs around the place for those in quarantine. These duties are done every day. Now of course a character could outwardly protest their job assignments but they will be not changed. How well your character tends to their jobs is up to you and needed to be noted in your next post. Due note, the jobs are final. No trading, working with another to help things move faster. Etc.

  • Alex/Jack: Clean Male Showers Daily after morning showers.
  • Riley/Beatrice: Clean the Female Showers Daily after morning showers.
  • Victor/Thalia: Clean up the Conference Room at the end of the Day.
  • Hank/Hunter: Clean the Male Bedrooms each morning after breakfast.
  • Nigel/Tati: Clean the Female Bedrooms each morning after breakfast.
  • Ash/Erica: Gather the laundry and hand out new clothing each day when Auntie comes by.
  • Manny/Wayne: Take care of busing the plates and taking care of dishes to be moved out by Cook each day.
  • Amelia: Switches out with Jack and Tati on their duties so one of Jamies parents are always with him.

Day 2: Doc comes in to check on everyone. He does a weigh in to see how people are holding up, hands out meds to help with stomach issues for those still having them. Finds both Jamie and Victor had responded well to treatment and their allergies are under control. He has the blood work back on people and everyone is fine as far as disease goes. Hunter gets word that his dog had a tick but she is doing fine and her blood work came back perfect. She is being walked out on the beach daily to get exercise. Schrody wasn't so lucky, he had lice and had to be shaved. Scratched up Daytona a bit in the process. Very unhappy kitty.

Day 3: Tesla comes in and does a final mold fitting to check and make sure that Thalia and Alexanders prosthetics will fit well. He tell them they will get the finished product the next day sometime in the afternoon. Shears comes by and takes whoever wants to go with him over to the Quarantine Sauna/Barber Shop for hair cuts if they want. Atticus comes over to do religious readings with anyone that wants a bit of spiritual guidance and prayer. Panama and Major are more relaxed now and down to basic side arms. Gunny comes by to inform people they will be doing interviews over the following days with each person alone and that there will also be a test given out by the Professor to test their skills and knowledge's. NPC's have not divulged information about the base or people on it more than what is already in previous posts. If questioned, they will basically be told that information is only for members of the camp.

Day 4: Morning duties are done and such as is the morning meal. Simple oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and fruit. Juice and water is the main drink, coffee is limited to one cup for each person that wants it. And here we go....

Leaning back against the wall Panama yawned slightly, Major shooting him a look. He just smirked at her and shrugged. "Long night," he said before pushing off the wall and glancing around. "Fuck this, I'm bored," he said reaching into his back pocket. "Who wants to play cards?" he asked as he walked over to one of the folding tables and pulling it out. Dropping a chair next to it he sat down and started shuffling the cards. Major just rolled her eyes a bit and stayed at her post by the door. She was always watching and didn't say much. Though it seemed that the baby had taken a shine to the woman. Anytime he was put down he would crawl over to her and tug on her pants leg or try to play near her. She'd let him but remain quiet. "They're gonna start thinkin' yer a mute," he teased the woman and her eyes rolled again as she crossed her arms over her chest. Shuffling the cards Panama looked around. "Come on, who's in? Ain't like you got anythin' better to do."

Wayne Maldonado

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

While Wayne was a pain in the ass, he took the job he was assigned seriously enough. Sure he made jokes about it, imitating a woman from a biographical film about Bruce Lee. "I am dish washer!" he would joke in a really bad Asian accent, dragging out the words as he spoke but at the end of each meal he would work without issue and get the job done as quickly as he could. He liked getting back to his chair and watching TV. Granted he had started dancing as well. Trying to get Tatiana to teach him and oddly enough he succeeded. The man was anything but graceful but he was a show himself trying to pull off even the most basic of dance moves. "I'm a fucking princess," he would laugh anytime he busted his ass. Which, was often. The man was good for one thing, he was strong and could do lifts.

When Shears came by he was all for it. He could use a trim, getting his hair shaved close. Not bald but even. Today though, he was feeling his age a bit. Rummaging through the various video tapes that were available it was his turn to pick and he was going to take full advantage of it. Thing was, there wasn't really anything at this point he either hadn't already seen or wanted to see. "No, I ain't putting back on 16 Candles, I'm over that John Hughes bullshit," he said to no one and swatted in the air. "Keep it up asshole and you're going back in my pants," he warned to the air.

Moving tapes around he stopped and picked up an older looking VHS tape that didn't have a label on it. It was simply black and whatever label on it had been worn off long ago, only a bit of sticky tack left behind. "Oh, fuck. Wonder if someone made a sex tape," he giggled dementedly as he tossed it into his other hand and waltzed over to the TV. Putting it in the VCR he hit rewind. His fingers drumming on top of the stand as he waited. "Whoever the fuck watched this last wasn't kind and didn't rewind," he huffed until he heard the tell tale click that the tape was ready. Where was a Blockbuster when you needed one?

Leaning over he hit play and walked back over to his seat. Sitting his ass down and palming the last bit of coffee he had in his mug. The man had his hopes up and as the tape started he groaned. It wasn't a sex tape. Looked like someone filming shit in a bar a good decade ago. The place looked like a dive and there were a lot of people milling around, the sound of glasses clinking and people talking. "I got it dad," a voice chimed in. It sounded like Gunny.

"I do not doubt that you have son, I just want to be sure it is in focus," another voice came over and the camera turned, a brief catch of a slightly younger version of the General showing up before Maddoc walked in front of the camera and grinned.

"Yeah, gotta make sure I am looking good," Maddoc said as he looked like he was fixing his hair as he clutched a cigar in his mouth. A hand came to his shoulder and shoved him out of the way. It had to be Gunny's.

"Well fuck me. A Martin Clan home video, this shit should be good," Wayne said as he leaned forward. Sure it wasn't a football game or a sex tape but these were the people that ran this place and the former detective in him wanted to know more.

There was a stage, small, over by the bar and some people who were not in focus standing up there, looking like they were talking. There was the gentle strum of an acoustic guitar and the camera slowly went into focus. "Oh, they are starting back up, marvelous," Aeron said from somewhere from the side of the camera. The man sounded excited for things to start back up

Most of the small band was nothing that stuck out but there was a tall piece of Texan Brisket playing the guitar, stetson on his head with his brown curls popping out and a broad and familiar to some grin on his face. Standing next to him was a rather dressed down woman in a light cotton pale blue sun dress wearing cowboy boots. She had dark wavy hair, and pale skin. She wasn't facing the bar yet, still moving a stool over to the mic. Only thing that could be really seen was an anchor tattoo on her right shoulder with something coming from it. It was hard to tell at this distance. Sitting down she reached up and leaned against the mic slightly, bracing one foot on the bottom rung of the stool as the song started.

"I don't want lose you but I don't want to use you just to have some body by my side," she started to sing. It was a more country cover of Patty Smyth's Sometimes Love Ain't Enough. Her voice was familiar and while it wasn't a voice that would ever land some major record deal it was one that would was sweet and deep. The camera panned in. It was Thana. Thana and Gavin, singing a duet in some run down bar somewhere. It looked to be in Texas considering the amount of neon and Texas flags hanging up in the bar.

"God bless fuckin' Texas, I'd like to buy her a drink," Wayne said as he leaned forward a bit more watching. He had no interest in cards right then. Couples were on the dance floor, slow dancing to the song as the two on stage sang together, the rest of the band playing along with them. As the song ended, one could hear Maddoc and Aeron cheering, the rest of the bar clapping. There seemed to be a bit of a back and forth between Gavin and Thana on stage, him looking like he was pleading with her and her finally giving in with an exasperated face before the next song started. Taking a long drink from a bottle of beer before the band started playing Deana Carter's Strawberry Wine. Thana sang, and the frustration seemed to fade from her face. She was smiling and looked happy, swaying on her stool as she sung. More songs followed, some faster, some slow but then couple seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Tatiana Newnan

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: Athletics

Playing it safe, Tatiana took it easy the first two days. That didn't mean she didn't do anything, she was just pacing herself. Stomach issues from dealing with regular solid food were a bit more than she expected but she worked through them. She had promised Thalia that she would train her and Tatiana made it a point to train with her dancing every day she could. Now she had a student and she took it seriously. Granted they would not do much dancing to start. It was mostly conditioning and stretching and learning the basic positions. Yet it was enough, the way Tatiana stretched could easily leave one drenched in sweat by the end. She wasn't expecting to pick up a second student along the way but it seemed that the bat shit crazy an who spoke to something in the air wanted to join along. She allowed it but only him and Thalia. Thalia because she had agreed to it, Wayne for multiple reasons. One, he had helped when they first arrived and two, she wanted to read more into this strange man.

The chores, she took to seriously and quickly each day without any complaint. Not really saying much to the man Wayne referred to as Sportacus. There had been some things she had caught him saying on the first day and she wasn't going to deal with that. Not right now. She had a job to do and wanted to get it done. Training was at the forefront of her mind. Staying strong and focused. She would switch out with Jack watching Jamie. Yet she let him spend most of the time with the baby. Him and Froggy. Both of them had a lot of catching up to do with her son, she had spent the first months of his life with him every moment. One might think she might suffer from separation anxiety over not holding him constantly now, in a new place, but she trusted her husband and Froggy. More than any other. And she needed the change of mind, the relief. It was long over due. Jamie was comfortable in his surroundings but he seemed to only want to be near his mother, Jack, or the major lady. He didn't cry but it was rare he did.

Knowing that Jamie and Froggy both were good now, medically speaking, put her mind at even more ease. It allowed her to relax a bit, though for her these days that was never much. She wasn't speaking a lot to anyone and some people she purposefully either stayed away from or ignored. In fact, now that it was day four, it seemed that Tatiana had a new group forming consisting of Thalia, herself, and Wayne. A weird trio indeed and they weren't exactly personable but they trained, for hours each day, between meals, between doing chores. They stayed active. Quiet but active. The only real time she took away from chores and training was talking to Ash. Back corner of the room, away from the rest, in hushed voices. They both had things they needed to deal with, so they did, together. It was almost like when siblings would sneak off to get away from everyone else during the holidays. When Shears came by she went with him and got her hair cleaned up a bit. It had taken a bad hacking months earlier, it was nice to get it evened out.

Today, Tatiana was in the small area in the back of the room that her and Wayne had cleared off for practice and was training. Working with Thalia on balance. Wayne had told her he was going to take it easy today and would join in the afternoon. Whatever, she could focus on Thalia today and not watch Wayne land on his ass. Which, honestly, wasn't as bad as it seemed. It made her laugh. The man was like a demented uncle. She had got in the habit of calling him Fester. As Panama asked if anyone wanted to play cards she glanced towards Thalia. "Going or staying?" she asked, as she motioned towards Panama. She figured Thalia would rather train but it was an option out there on the table, so to speak.

Hearing Wayne, she quirked a brow and stood up from the floor where she had been stretching. Looking towards the TV and her head tilting to the side slightly. "Vov," she said as she stared at the television. The tall man was familiar, would have been to anyone in Newnan the day it fell. He had arrived late that day and been brought in by Froggy while Ash was taking an evening to himself for once. She hadn't spoken directly to the man known as Gavin but she didn't forget his face or the way he had acted when James was cast out of Newnan the morning after the wedding. The woman, she had spoken to, briefly. Her eyes went over towards Ash and she waited. This could be bad.

Lord Bardolf eyed the woman who refused to take her mask off. "Jasper," he said. It was a single word but the man nodded and started to move over to her. "You will remove the mask and now or you will be put out in the storm," he warned before looking over at Jasper. "And to think, this was the one you already went out on a limb for and yet she does this. Perhaps you should remove any additional help she might need to get through the evening," he said in a warning voice. Jasper looked over towards Lord Bardolf and then towards Maeve.

"Yes Sir... It shan't happen again," he said quietly before taking another step towards her. The whole room seemed to have their attention on the girl who had stuck herself with a knife. Bardolf only gave half a glance in the woman's direction but his eyes were focused on Blush. Ignoring what else was going on around him, and forcing Jasper to do the same.

The pale woman sat there quietly, watching everyone. Her eyes darting to Lord Bardolf, to Jasper, to Cobalt, to Rave, and the others. Making the rounds again and again with her eyes as she watched them and the scene unfolding around her. The Maestro sitting next to Blush turned in his chair some. "That would be a pity to have you leave," he said as he sat there and tilted his head to the side.

Down in the sewing room, Rhoda got busy tearing the linen into strips and making sure they were the right width. Taking one she began to wrap the wound up, one piece and then another. She made quick work of it. Glancing over towards Dr. Swamp and Amaranthine, who seemed to be having a bit of problem with him and dealing with the bullet removal but the woman had said she would take care of it. Listening to her sing as she sewed the man up, she quirked a brow. Shaking her head she turned her attention back to Walnut and got the wound wrapped up fully and tied off. "That should do you, do try to keep it clean," she said in a quiet voice before standing up and starting to clean up the little bit of a mess that was made from everything having to deal with Walnut.

October 31st, 1943 - Hey Listen!

Siduri stood there, looking out the window, looking at the sky and perhaps beyond it through the leaves in the trees as they flittered in the wind. Her eyes drifted towards Andromeda and she nodded. Then they went to Faith and there was a tug of a smile at the corner of her lips. Then she glanced towards Ben, who had a look on his face. He shook his head slightly, giving a bit of a chuckle. The woman took a breath between a small part in her lips and turned around slowly. "You miss the world planning, you miss life while over thinking. " It was all she said before she went silent.

Ben had this look on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck and then shrugged. He too let out a sigh. "You ain't listening. You're hearing her but you ain't listening," he said before stepping towards the door. Siduri nodded and followed him, the two of them stepping out of the room and making their way to the front porch. Looking down the drive and the lawn, Siduri watched as the stars moved. Time was drawing close for the day to reset. For it to all begin again. Moments ticking by. Ben pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. Taking a long pull from it as the cherry burned bright. "Refusing to understand?" he asked her as he pulled the cigarette from his mouth and the smoke billowed over his lips.

Siduri nodded. "Some are so caught in their own ways they refuse to see the light before them. They waste time for they believe they have all the time in the world. Time is an illusion. Life is just a hiccup between death. We only observe in the cards what we wish to see. We only pull from the shadows what we want instead of seeking what we truly need. We only see what we wish. And we rewrite the story to fit our version of it." Looking up at the sky her fingers laced together and rested low against her body. "Some minds are set like stone and I have not the time to alter that, my rains would not be fast enough to carve out what they need. Not before everything comes crashing down."

Ben nodded as he took another puff. "That's why you sought out the other?" he asked and she cast a glance in his direction. A knowing look on her face. He seemed to understand. Perhaps he was young enough to not have had so much time or mortal enough to understand that not everything was forever. That there wasn't all the time in the world. He took a step forward and looked at her again. "And why... Now I see," he added before looking at the trees. "Damn, that's heavy." Siduri gave a simple breath to his words. "Is it too late?"

"That I know not. Though the fear in there. Not for me but for them and others. Gather our things, we shall depart."

Kirkpatrick House: The butler looked at the woman oddly for a moment before nodding just slightly. "Yes Miss, though I would say you would need to speak to the lady of the house first. Lady Kirkpatrick," he said as he stepped over towards the horse and took the edge of the reins to keep the horse steady and held out a hand to her to help her down. "If you would, I can show you inside," he said before glancing over towards the man that had come with her. "Will you be joining sir?" he asked as he gave the man a look over.

"Nope. My job is done." His voice was flat as he spoke and then glanced over towards Colette and tipped his hat slightly. "Miss," he said before turning his horse around slowly. Then he took off back in the direction they had come and headed back towards Port Annan. The butler shrugged to himself before looking back over towards Colette.

"Let us get you down and tie off your mare before we go in," he said as he still held his hand out.

Road to Gretna Green From The Kirkpatricks: "Yeah," Rutherford said as he still wrung at his hands. Rutherford looked anything but happy right then as he sat on the top of the carriage and tried to keep his balance and not topple off as they road towards Gretna Green. It was some time that passed before there was a knock from inside the carriage that caused the driver to pull over and stop their travels. The door swung open and the light haired woman stepped out. "What now?" Rutherford asked as he looked down at the woman, a vexed looked deepening on his features.

"Get in," she said as she stood there. She had managed to clean up some while in the carriage with Millicent but Milli had not peaked her head out.

"Yes, of course Duchess, whatever you say Duchess. You do know this is not your country right?" he sneered as he climbed down and stumbled back. She didn't say anything, simply standing perfectly still as she waited for him to finally climb into the carriage. She shut the door hard and climbed up to the top of the carriage and took his place, sitting where Rutherford had during the first part of the impromptu portion of the journey.

"Ve go nov," she said towards the driver. Her voice was much kinder to him than it had been towards Rutherford. The driver had this look of I don't get paid enough for this on his features but did as she instructed. Her hands planted on either side of her and she seemed to remain perfectly still even as the carriage began pulling forward again. Her eyes fixed ahead of them as he wind blew her hair back and caught pieces of her "attire" causing it to ripple against her skin.

Road to Gretna Green From Port Annan: "Oh yes yes, of course. That is what I was looking for!" Ludwig exclaimed as he stuck his head back down into the bag and went back about his research. Sure, it was a bit of a face palm moment but Ludwig wasn't exactly in a calm situation right then. He was just a fairy, trying to do a good job and answer all questions. People should not be mad, they should be glad, and he tried to do that. He wouldn't help his mind wandered like the fluttering of butterfly wings. Down, back to the books, to read what he had written. To read what he knew. To look at what he had seen or maybe no seen. It was all up for debate. Still every so often he adjusted their course. They were getting close. Oh so close. Maybe he would have something when they arrived. Maybe not. Who knew with Ludwig, he sure didn't.

Gretna Green: Will update next round.

Deeper Than The Sands

Date: October 6th, 1924

Notes: Remember - all directions are from the Docks. So if you want to go from one to the other you would need to head back to the docks and then go to another place. (Two rounds to get from one place to the docks, two rounds to get from docks to next place.)

To the left they would find the market and bazaar.
Straight ahead they would find the rose gardens and perfume dealers.
To the right there was a sign for Tours to Athribis and Leontopolis. Leontopolis was known for it's ancient tiles. Athribis was known as the birth place of Amenhotep and many artifacts in the museum back in Cairo held pieces from many a dig that had happened there, transported on rails by trains funded by a George Jay Gould. This is also where you will find the main train depot in the area.

Boat: "Yes, very right. Please, both of you, follow me," the Captain said. "Sorry for the confusion, but please, this way," he said to the both of them. The guards letting them pass before blocking off the entrance again. The Captain walked up the gang plank, making sure that he was not moving to fast in case Josephine was feeling faint or needed to take her time. He wound through the boat and up another flight and then another until they were on the Sun Duck and close to the Radio room. There was a door marked infirmary in both English and Arabic. Opening the door he lead them in and there was a middle aged man who looked to be of Caucasian decent dressed in slacks and a white shirt with his sleeves rolled up. He looked to have been reading before they came in. Closing what he was reading and slipping it back into his desk as he stood up. "We have an injury," the Captain said motioning over to Josephine once she entered.

"Oh my, yes, please come have a seat," he said as he motioned over to a table with a stepping stool in front of it. "Anything else Captain?" he asked.

"No, just make sure she is tended to," he said before excusing himself and stepping around Reddish to leave the room, shutting the door behind him.

"My what happened?" he asked as he turned his back and went to collect various items so he could clean the wound and tend to it.

Just Outside Rose Garden/Perfume Dealers: Apparently LLA has accepted the card against death this time. (Nat 20 roll) The bees, the bees! They are finally leaving the poor woman alone but damn is she hurt. Stingers still drilling into her skin from the too numerous to count stings and her face and hands are swelling. This is not good. The woman needs to seek medical attention and post haste. Everyone is avoiding her, needless to say. Who would want to be near a woman that is looking like this and was just being attacked by bees.

Train to Athribis: The train is now pulling out of the station and is on its way to Athribis. The trip will not take long, thankfully. As stated previously, there are not many on the train this trip, so the two are free to speak without having to worry too much about anyone hearing them as long as they keep their voices down. Those that are also on the train with them seem to have taken seats further away and are minding their own business. Looking out the window or just sitting there and waiting for the train to arrive at its destination.

Athribis: It seemed the general consensus was that no one wanted to do the usual tourist trap of a tour. Sure it could have been educational but not in the way this group was probably wanting. Bella glanced over towards J.C. and a gentle smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "That leaves us getting in without worry," she said in a soft voice. "I do believe what we could use is a distraction," she said and J.C. gave her a smile. Leaning in he whispered against her ear. Nodding Bella smiled towards him and he gave her a kiss on the cheek before excusing himself. "This way," she added as she started walking away from the tourists and headed towards the dig part of the site instead of where the tours were being held. It seemed that maybe those two were up to something.

Amaranthine slowly pulled back from Dr. Swamp. He didn't seem to be taking the whole getting a bullet removed from his side very well. She forced a thin lipped smile towards him while the woman in the room took care of Professor Walnut. At least there were not two people for her to tend too right then, though the way that Swamp was reacting to this bit of metal removal, it might have been better if Rhoda had tended to Swamp and Amaranthine tended to Walnut. At least Walnut's wound seemed to be more minor. This was not something that Amaranthine was used to doing and as Swamp spoke she looked worried about the situation and concerned about the man. Once again the woman, if she was trying to hide her emotions she was failing. She wore them on her sleeve. At least he hadn't passed out.

Looking around she found a bucket and placed it on the floor next to him before double checking the needle. Reaching up with a wet rag she dotted his brow and down the back of his neck, letting it rest there for a it. It would be cool against his skin and hopefully help. "I promise to work as quickly and delicately as I am able," she said in a soft voice as she got closer to him and leaned down so she could get a better view of where the bullet entered. "I do not see pieces of bone, this is good no?" she said, hoping it was.

The Chanteuse was not medically trained, by any stretch of the imagination but she did have some skills. One of which was music. "Just focus on my voice," she said gently and smiled nervously towards him. So she sat there and sung very softly, almost a whisper as she began to sew up the skin to the best of her ability. "Wolves asleep amidst the trees. Bats all a swaying in the breeze, but one soul lies anxious wide awake fearing all manner of ghouls, hags and wraiths. For your dolly Polly sleep has flown. Don't dare let her tremble alone for the witcher, heartless, cold paid in coin of gold. He comes he'll go leave naught behind but heartache and woe. Deep, deep woe. La la la la da la la da. Birds are silent for the night. Cows turned in as daylight dies. But one soul lies anxious wide awake. Fearing all manner of ghouls, hags, and wraiths. My dear dolly Polly shut your eyes. Lie still, lie silent, utter no cries. As the witcher, brave and bold, paid in coin of gold. He'll chop and slice you, cut and dice you, eat you up whole. Eat you whole." It was an old and strange lullaby sung in the world.

Reaching for the scissors, she cut the thread and placed her materials down on the table next to him. She was done and had done a surprisingly good job on the stitching. Taking a breath she took a linen dipped it in the water, wringing it out as her eyes cast back towards Dr. Swamp. She said nothing, just watching and waiting to see how he was reacting to the last bit before she dared attempt to wrap up the wound now that it was sealed.

*Once again, I will need a roll for Swamp against Constitution due to being stitched up.

Chicago, Illinois (Grimaldi Books): Adelaide looked over towards Robert as if he had lost his mind. She was cute and all but to be hacked over that? That would seem more fitting for her home lap top upstairs in her apartment, not for her store itself. Rapture chuckled a bit and pushed the lollipop in his mouth into the side of his cheek, the paper straw at the end sticking out of his mouth.

"Why does a hacker hack anything?" he asked but it seemed more like he was leading into something. Pulling the lollipop out he turned around in his seat. "There are three reasons to hack. To prove you can, to cause trouble, and to get information," he said as he counted off the reasons on his fingers. "Hacking this place, if Prometheus wanted to hack something to prove something there are much harder places to get into. Now, to cause problems? Nah, could have set off alarms, set the place on fire, frame someone. Nothing like that there. So that leaves us with?" he said with a knowing look on his face.

"Information," Adelaide said looking around.

"Ding ding ding. This is a book store and books, well they were the internet of the old world. And yours is very old from what I am seeing. You have the equivalent to the world wide web of knowledge people fought wars over hundreds of years ago. Shit, Hitler would have loved your collection and looking at these email, so would the Vatican," he said as he opened her email account.

Adelaide gulped a bit. It didn't surprise her that this guy could get into her email. Wentworth had sent him. It was more so what he was saying. "Well shit..." she said under her breath. It wasn't common for Adelaide to curse but she was not exactly in the best of moods right then. "Can you keep it from happening again?" she asked.

"Against Prometheus?" Rapture asked with a half laugh. "I can bump up your security but if Prometheus wants in, Prometheus is getting in," he added. "But I can place a tracer. If you're lucky and another hack is tried, I might be able to find out from where," Rapture said before going back to work.

Adelaide nodded and sighed. "Fine, do what you can."

Road To Grimm I (Northern Indiana): Isn't this part of Indiana lovely? Little known fact. You are now in AMISH country! With the day rolling by, buggy signs start showing and Keystone is actually having to play it careful as they pass several Amish buggies on the road. In fact, as they move through on their personal route towards Grimm Indiana they are passing through the third largest Amish community area in the country. It isn't something that is widely publicized, why would it be? Most Amish do like they privacy. Thing is, now they need to stop and get gas. Thankfully there are a few tourist places and a gas station. Better pull over. This should be interesting, or at least funny as hell.

Road To Grimm II (Outskirt's Of Grimm, Indiana): Mali's ability to drive isn't near as bad as one would have thought. She is able to use a decent sense of perception and her driving skills to weave through traffic and find ways around any road blocks of slow moving areas. Causing both her and Zoie to reach the outskirts of Grimm much faster than anticipated. There is a haze over the town as they start getting close to it and one can see the white plum of smoke coming up from the woods out to the east. Zoie leans forward in her seat and takes off her sunglasses. "Well ain't that some shit..." she mutters under her breath before reaching over to the AC unit and turning it on recycle, last thing they need is for the cabin to fill up with outside smoke and such.

"Tinders place first or the hotel to clean up?" she asked Mali as she looked over to her and let out a breath. Either was a decent option. They could head to Tinders family home and get this over with or grab a shower before hand. Both would need to be done, just depended which one they wanted to do first.

Grimm, Indiana (Beneath Grimm): Riley isn't finding anything on the ground but she is going to start realizing what that damn smell is. She knows it. She knows it well. You see there was this girl she knew in high school. She went a little batty. And this girl, well she had a favorite drink... Strawberry Quick. The smell was always on her breath and she drank it constantly, especially after being locked up in the Asylum for so long. She was always asking for it. Yup, someone has been diving into the strawberry quick. Is that a good or a bad thing?

Priya figured something out as well. She found something. Now, it didn't turn or twist. It didn't reveal any type of hidden door as she fiddled with it. After a bit she is able to get her nails under the edges of the medallion though and pull it out of the wall. It seems to be a key to something. To what, who knows but the key part looks a lot more high tech than the actual medallion does. Like it was added later or updated. As if it had an older key on it and it was replaced with a high tech one on the end. This is probably something she will want to keep a hold of but the question remains, why the fuck is it down there?

Grimm, Indiana (Police Station): Roy nodded a bit. "See what you can dig up girl," he said as he kept an eye out while she did her search. Her search would yield the following:
    Remaining Alive Star Students
  • Jasmin Morgan
  • Riley Ridgeway
  • Adelaide Grimaldi
  • Cynthia McMillan
  • Ashley Cunningham
  • Kaikane Malana
  • Timothy Grayson
  • Celia Johnson
  • Dexter Paul
  • Jewell Price
  • Roxanne Waters

There were more but of those in the "more" list, they had survived the whole Reunion thing but had died since then. People like Marc Tinder and Chloe Ridgeway. Had those been hits?

Apparently whatever questions he had asked to the pale woman sitting across from him and to the lord of the manor were ignored. Wouldn't be the first time someone had brushed off what he had asked but that didn't mean he wouldn't keep trying. And it didn't damper his spirits, grinning broadly at her as he leaned back in his seat. He had time, in fact as far as he was concerned he had all the time in the world. They were hold up in this place until the storm broke and the snow could be cleared out and the bridge could be repaired it seemed. Oh yes, he had plenty of time to get to know that one.

Glancing over towards the masked woman that smile held. At least she seemed to speak. He chuckled a bit and picked up the glass of darker spirits that Jasper had poured for him. Holding it up to her and smiling. "Then here are to game and intrigue," he said in a small toast before taking a drink. He gave her a bit of a wink as he lowered the glass. Lord Bardolf's words caused his brow to raise. "Aww, let them have their fun. I do love unwrapping beautiful packages," he said as he kept his eyes on Maeve. The mask was nice but it didn't hide all her features. Enough was shown to know she had to be a looker and even if she was hiding some horrid disfigurement it wouldn't matter. He was scarred himself.

The man wanted to say more but then there was a scream and his head turned, looking in the direction of where it had come from. "What in bloody hell?" he asked. He couldn't see the knife or reason why the woman had screamed. She was still seated and sitting there. His head tilted to the side like a confused dog being told something he didn't quite understand. Shifting in his chair he leaned a bit but he wasn't close enough to her to get an actual look. "You alright girl?" he asked before taking a sip from his drink once again and glancing back towards Maeve, giving a well that was something look.
