Current It's been a while since I roleplay'ed. With filing for unemployment, a lot of free time has opened up. I hope I can join despite the rep sheet I have for being inactive for some time.

Hey, guys. I'm back. I'm not sure if anyone viewed the discord chat, but I celebrated my birthday this weekend which explains my absence. Hope no one died on me.

@Kaesus

Your character needs a bit more description. Everything is vague. I also feel the power or ability needs more detail given paralyzation can be interpreted in many ways and can be performed in a godly way if not done right.

Chef Object watched as the woman fled to the next roof over. He whispered a curse word under his breath. He expected her to freeze in fear or become unable to move. Furthermore, the woman kept a bow on her which meant a ranged attack. Marcus could tell she wanted space between them in order to launch her arrows. Marcus landed on the roof with a thud. His impact sent some roof tiles onto the ground.

Marcus jerked his head to notice the woman sent arrows, as he predicted. His eyes opened wide once he witnessed a strange phenomenon. Strangely, the arrows coming at him were not realistic. They glowed and cut through the wind easily. Overall, Marcus acknowledged the appearance was bizarre. "Magic?" Marcus clenched his teeth and asked to himself. He could not contemplate the concept. It did remain true that he had prior experience dealing with magical entities and monsters, but he wished he wouldn't have to fight another individual accustomed to magic so soon.

Even then, he figured the training simulation "made" up what happened. He denied most of it, but the arrows only convinced him. Marcus stepped back and attempted to find his balance as the arrows were sent. He began moving to the side when his eye caught the directional pattern. Chef Object gulped after realizing the arrows homed toward him. Frantically moving around the rooftop, he utilized his rubber powers to jump into the air and dodge the first projectile.

Upon landing, the other arrow struck his left shoulder. Marcus groaned, he quickly responded by holding onto his arm. He could hear Ally and Kurt down below; however, the pain blocked his hearing. "Okay, you're done!" The boy shook off the pain and attempted to block it. He started running across the roof to gain momentum. Pushing onwards, he leaped again with an incoming fist from his right hand.

"You're really mean," The boy whined. He put his arms behind his head. He began putting more sound on his feet. This was him passively trying to stir a tantrum. The kid disliked the cold shoulder and wondered if this decision was best. Annoyingly, he would keep stopping only to turn around and look at the woman.

Once a moment passed, he stopped immediately and looked around. He closed his eyes and held a hand to signal the woman to stop moving. "Shut up. Don't talk," he ordered. He waited a full minute before speaking again. His attitude turned from his original playfulness to something foul. "Do you hear that?" He asked.

The kid turned a full 360 degrees and looked at the woman. "One of our own has been taken. Everyone is going to get her back," he pointed to the sides of the forest. Lydia then sensed or heard other people moving through the woods. Their movements were quick and aggressive. "Come help us. The person responsible needs to be punished," he smiled. In a flash, the boy took in a running speed and waved to the woman to keep up. His sprint was unimaginable for a kid.

Health: 550/600 (Sleep Deprived -50)
Mana: 650
Renn: 137 -131= 6

Dubstepp regarded Karma's comment and tapped his chin. He never contemplated the concept of secret reward. It remained possible that Dubstepp's deed could lead to future events. As of now, the musician did not find a relationship meter in his menu. Like the Sims, there is no telling if he made friends with certain NPCs. After completing the guard quest, the chances of friending the guard master were up for speculation. Dubstepp's hopes were lifted when he began considering the man might invite him back again for better quests and rewards.

The musician nodded and said bye to the players near him. They all took off to prepare for the upcoming dungeon. Dubstepp placed his chin on the table and started to release an annoyed moan. The kid still thought the dungeon was a mistake. The risk proved to be way higher than the reward. Even then, Dubstepp wasn't entirely sure about the party's classes. Most of the team resembled a mage or a long ranged fighter. He hoped the two close-ranged fighters would be capable of fending off monsters.

Dubstepp sighed and pulled his head from the table. He rubbed his chin, thinking how everyone left to prepare for the journey,
he figured he should do the same. The kid left the inn and started striding down the street. His eyes squinted at the incoming light.
No matter how many times Dubstepp tried to tell himself, he kept forgetting none of this was real. All his senses sent messages to his brain that this was too realistic. The sun bathed his visible skin; it almost made him shiver.

Dubstepp shook his head and entered a nearby store. The establishment did not have a lot of elbow room because of its merchandise for sale. By immediate inspection, Dubstepped noticed only general goods for purchase. Looking at the shelves, the musician acknowledged he could at least find something of use. The kid did find some first aid lying around some medicine. He looked at the item and wondered if it was a safe purchase given that Karma could just heal him.

Dubstepp decided to buy the first aid knowing that there might be times when Karma is not around for a convenient heal. Going through the small aisles, the musician found more items for the dungeon. He picked up a canteen at the front counter. Dubstepp greeted a bright, young woman behind the desk. She flashed a comforting smile and began tallying up the items. After the order was said, Dubstepp fumbled for the right coins.

The musician headed back to the Inn to fill his canteen with fresh water. He looked at his menu for his remaining Renn and frowned. He acknowledged that after taking down the dungeon supposedly, he needed to find another quest to pay him. Once he got his canteen filled, he headed to the rendezvous.

Fitness Feya

Suplex City

Feya slammed into several barricades and rails. Every slam caused distress to her body. The immediate clamping onto her arm forced her to release a short grunt. Feya Fitness was not one to scream out in pain unless the damage proved incredible. So far, the damage only brought her to flinch and groan. The first few times demonstrated that she can withstand, but the bounty hunter would not tire.

Eventually, the repetitive smashing did a number on her. The physician predicted she needed to stop this before she loses consciousness. Her skull struck the side of the rail and opened up a cut on her scalp. Blood trickled down on her albino complexion. She panted heavily as the crab man kept the onslaught. Discreetly, she started utilizing parts of her body to cushion the impacts. It lessened the damage but by only a minuscule amount.

The woman made certain to keep her eyes open. She took the time to study her opponent. His focus remained on tiring her, but he was going to have to avert his attention elsewhere. A captain would have to keep his eyes on all factors. Something was bound to catch him up. It was then that Feya's ears opened up.

Apparentally, Lilliana may have destroyed the ship's mast. Feya noticed the sudden conversation Krabbe initiated with his crewmate. The woman saw her moment and took action. Once Krabbe swung her body again, Feya used the momentum to slam her foot into the deck creating a hole for support. After thudding against the floor, the woman hugged the giant claw arm. She proceeded to use the strength in her arms to suplex the bounty hunter over her head as he was momentarily distracted and not expecting.

<Snipped quote by Leaves>

I'd wait for a bit. Been trying to think of a way to make the RP more consistent in terms of speed. Speaking of which...

@demonspade64@Duoya@Ithradine@TaroAndSelia@Leaves@Tybalt Capulet

Can yall post here with the answers to the followings? Will help me a lot, thanks in advance!

- Would you like a more consistent speed with the RP? Faster or this is fine?
- Is "1 post per 3-days" too small of a window to make posts?
- Whats the biggest issue for you (personally) that makes you go past the 3-day post timing?
- How can I (HueMan) help to fix that issue?
- Do you have any suggestions or comments regarding the rp so far? Anything goes.

I feel the pacing is appropriate though I did enjoy the speed when this roleplay originally started out; however, that was back when we had like more than eight individuals. There was at least a post every day. I would like to know how the speed could be increased; would this become pushed by a rule?

Is "1 post per 3-days" too small of a window to make posts?

I guess I should have spoken up beforehand. I believe I did comment that the 2-day rule asked for too much. I don't believe I can reach for 3-days given that I work on the weekends. If I do have to follow that rule, I can issue a short post just in sake of keeping myself in the roleplay. I have seen most GMs use a 7-Day rule which does work at times, but the pace is dreadfully slow.

Whats the biggest issue for you (personally) that makes you go past the 3-day post timing?

Mainly work. I am currently trying not to become part of the norm and live at my parents. I have two jobs and I hope to add another one to the latter.

How can I (HueMan) help to fix that issue?

Regarding which issue? I think the roleplay should temporarily open up to allow more roleplayers inside. Given this is stuck in a virtual reality world with 2000 people, players can jump in with ease; however, their backstory will need some explaining on what they have been doing for the time being.

Also for the concept of dungeons. I believe the day should be scheduled in advance. This could just be in my opinion, but I think the roleplay is going slow because of the small talk and shopping. It has been going on for some time. I believe a date should be issued by the GM, for example, "October 19th, everyone will raid the dungeon."

On the day before or of, roleplayers will write their last post to finish up conversations, purchase things, and head to the start of the dungeon and wait for the narrative of the GM. This does not necessarily have to be all week, but more if the majority of roleplayers are ready to fight the dungeon boss.
Do you have any suggestions or comments regarding the rp so far? Anything goes.

Every now and then, you could post a comment such as "Like my post if you want to fight the next boss this week or so."

Marcus stretched his arms and looked around the vicinity. The houses did not have any personality. Each house looked exactly the same. Even then, the concept of a kidnapper in the neighborhood might possibly be the most action the area as received. Marcus betted that nothing ever happened here.

Stretching his arms, he looked at Kurt. He scrunched up his face and wondered what the lizard man inferred. "Why am I crazy?" Marcus had no clue on the lizard man's actions. Did he want to throw up? Marcus shrugged the odd behavior. Looking at the houses again, he wondered how he was going to investigate.

"Well, of course, you can't do that. Wasn't there some spy equipment in the van?" Marcus put his hands up to protect himself from the rain. The pitter patter of the liquid was the only sound available. Everything else was silent. His skin started to feel cold and wet. The atmosphere brought an uneasy feeling on him, almost something ominous.

It was then that Marcus heard the sound of a nearby woman. He jerked his head side to side to find the voice. "Damn it, Kur-Dragon. You're out in the open," Marcus quickly blamed the appearance of his teammate. Then again, the teen almost said his real name out loud. Through the rain, Marcus then found the source of the voice.

She's got to know something. Marcus gritted his teeth and held his hands up. He wondered if he was really meant for this. The woman looked non-threatening compared to the monsters he faced before. She pointed a bow and arrow toward him which only raised the question of "Who uses a bow and arrow anymore?"

Marcus squinted at the young woman. Two possibilities stood: she is the kidnapper or an accomplice. Marcus tried calming the person down. "Please do not shoot. I have the right answers for you. It's in my pocket," he calmly spoke out as his hand slowly dug into his pocket. He tried to look as non-lethal as possible.

Finally, he pulled out a rubber ball. Marcus smiled as he popped it into his mouth. "There's your answer," he said with a grin. With a few seconds, he squatted to the floor and leaped toward the roof at the woman.

Phoenix Wright calmly pulled his hand away from the small child; he performed the task slowly and discreetly as not to offend the boy. Rubbing the back of his neck, the lawyer tried to connect the dots. Everything he witnessed back then did not have any reasonable explanations. A moth creature attempted to kill a child, a bear with a backpack, and himself. The gang of characters only complicated things.

Looking at the entry of access, Wright waited for the others to enter through. The blonde swordsman followed closely behind them. A few minutes later and the others joined-- the anthropomorphic bear and the woman in the suit. The ace attorney speculated the group must have worked before the previous battle; however, the sudden conversation conflicted with his hypothesis.

Wright found himself in the middle of a troublesome matter. A creature just exploded in a burst of fire which appeared to have caused the argument. The more aggressive looking characters found themselves wanting to destroy the enemy while the young child wished for a passive route. This dispute seemed a lot similar to one of Wright's discussions back in law school.

Back then, Wright took some time and effort into research for the death penalty. In the present, the death penalty stands as a major social issue. The conflict rises if criminals should die as a consequence for their actions. This usually split people up in the field of law. The ace attorney did not much of his situation. He took a moment to listen to everyone talk before putting his own two cents.

Everything being said made him reflect on the past. The statements were similar and so were the emotions that were presented. Wright sighed and tapped his chin. His mouth opened slightly in shock. Listening to everyone helped him learn more about the entire ordeal. Apparently, Wright needed to face 5 or more monsters in order to save someone's soul. The mere thought of having to fight more strange creatures baffled Phoenix. The soul concept did not confuse the attorney but did raise some questions.

Phoenix acknowledged ghosts and the afterlife did exist due to previous cases. He knew souls could possess other bodies, but people taking possession of other souls seemed bizarre. Even then, the most surprising news happened to be the leadership position. Wright expected the character resembling the adult to have more capability to lead a group. Everybody pointed to the kid as he fit the leader role at this point.

Wright scratched his head even more. He witnessed the woman in armor pull out several holograms of alien lifeforms. She utilized them as a form of her argument that sometimes killing or destroying is the better option. Wright looked up at the ceiling. He wished he could summon Mia for help. She definitely knew what to do in this situation. Coughing as a means of clearing his throat and gathering everyone's attention, he began to speak. "Hi, my name is Phoenix Wright. You guys can call me Nick," the ace attorney chuckled nervously. "I haven't the faintest idea on what's going on, but I believe killing isn't always the only option. There are far more better options."
