Bio

"If you kill a man, you scorn his wife. If you kill his wife, you scorn her child. If you kill her child, you scorn his village. If you kill his village, you scorn the kingdom. If you kill the kingdom you scorn an empire. If you kill an empire, then who is left?"

@Gun If you wish to sound poignant and not salty, it'd be best to not toss around "faggots" in your not-salty response. Just saiyan.
I think there needs to be an impartial mediator who actually cares about the event, someone who can settle arguments without dispute among all the participating parties.

Just saiyan.
@Terror of Light Yo, now that you're posting. You really should remove the link to F-List from your sig. I'm not certain if it's a wholly bannable offense, but it's certainly unseemly.
@Doc Doctor
I don't do comedic relief, thanks.
@Gun Arguing happens in the Arena, it's just part of the experience.
@Gun Being wholly disinterested in the tier that they're fighting in isn't a criminal offense.

@Shidenblades I'm pretty much a rarity in that I enjoy almost exclusively high tier fights, BECAUSE of the pissing contests. They help me understand what IS and ISN'T a good power, they help me narrow that down. I never had an argument over Kanitah's ring ability, so I mark that down as a good power. I had plenty of arguments over Baron's previous versions. I marked those down as bad powers, and rebuilt him every time, but with the same theme. Until recently, where I didn't have an argument about his powers. I mark that down as a good powerset.

@Terror of Light How could you not dude? It's like Germany declaring war on the Allies, but instead bombing Sweden. They declared war on The Guild, but The guild gets to sit back and watch as other people take up the banner.
Of all the folks that could be defending the Arena. . .

Myself.

The list goes on of people who I've come to know and somewhat like.

Instead we have folks who are new names, or not representing the guild personally. Such as.
@Doc Doctor
@Cruallassar
@Gun

@Shawdus

This is hilarious, this is like Germany during World War 2, they begin their invasion of Poland. . .But instead they take a left at Albuquerque and wind up in fucking Tanzania.

Edit: Forgive me, but this realization has made me laugh so god damn hard that I nearly threw up.
She yawned as she walked towards Gun, the desperado waiting at the cliff face. Her arms raised above her head and popped the joints once more, as her lips parted slowly. A soft groan left her as she settled her arms back down, just as her eyes opened once again, she notided that Gun was aiming a gun towards her. Now, they didn't look Pundambayan. So she wasn't particularly intimidated by the scope of the weapon. Mostly due to other races not living on as high of gravity worlds, their weapons didn't have to overcome that enormous drawback, hence the difference in pushing power. But, a gun is a gun, and moving out of the way was smart enough.

But she always has been a bit foolhardy.

As his gun fired, Bita's body became washed in a golden light that rapidly turned blue-black and thick as tar. It swirled around her faster than a human could even try to witness, and it formed small rings that hovered over parts of her body. From the ring that formed above her forehead, a massive pillar of black erupted and matched the force of Gun's rifle shot. An eruption of energy blasted outwards in all directions upon a flat plane from the point of impact, as the combined matched force of energy was dissipated outwards. After the eruption cleared, Bita had ascended nearly entirely to the point of impact. Not even bothering to slow her pace as she marched through the sky towards Gun.

If Gun peered over the edge, he would see her eyes entirely mired in disconnection from the situation at hand. Though her eyes told a story of boredom, she continued her advance. Even bothering to speak to him in various Earthly languages. Asking the same question every time.

"Reo?" Maori.
"Jazyk?" Czech.
"Yǔyán?" Chinese.
"Lugha?" Swahili.
"Language?" English.

There was a short pause between each one, as she continued to ask him the language that he spoke.
Honor? Honor. A mortal concept to limit one's self and judge others based on their actions. It happened on every planet where power had grown, even in the smallest degree. It's conjured by weak people who fear the strength of others, so they attempt to put a limiter on the abilities of others.

The ability demonstrated by this warlord. This Tetsue. Was honor given form.

As the smoke cleared, and Tetsue had turned away from The Baron, the divine had half a mind to obliterate him with a crushing blast of sound. To humiliate him in death by killing him for daring to turn his back to the great beast.

Because honor is stupid to someone who actually has power.

Food?

Food.

Food!

It was smarter to just take the upstart's behavior at face value, The Baron had felt an intense hatred inside of him. That was really all he had wanted in the first place. That hatred would linger, the sick excitement from earlier had faded and was replaced with a disappointed anger. Honor tends to give people an exaggerated sense of how the world works, and Tetsue was no different from any other mortal.

A whirling and violent ball of crimson energy spun itself inside of his mouth, the light emitted by it was illuminating the insides of his mouth. The Baron closed its mouth and let the sound dissipate slowly through his pores, it was so compressed that it left him like steam from a kettle. Leaving him alive was the smartest solution, that lingering hatred would be fresh for days. Maybe weeks. Perhaps years.

A storm was coming, and The Baron had stirred in a small seed of distaste. That's all that he needed, a smidgen of uncertainty, a dash of hatred, and a shake of sadness. Whatever it took to leave lingering emotion.

The Baron turned away from Tetsue, the four clones dissipating and drifting towards the Goliath as he left the battlefield. So too did the crescent on his ankle break apart, he had kept it safe, just for one move that never came. The Divine had not won this battle, but he had served the purpose he was designed for.

So too would the fear linger in the Earthling's hearts, from their city being destroyed to the rift that had opened up and unleashed a wave of terrifying beasts.

The great beast that had carried The Baron down to the Earth's surface extended its foreleg, a long claw-like appendage, and allowed The Baron to grab hold. It pulled the giant towards its head and placed it behind the horn, then took off like a rocket into the sky above. The sonic cone that formed around its head broke just a moment before it accelerated to atmospheric exit speeds. The Sky parted in its wake as it left the Earth to re-enter the portal, where the thousands of other Wanderers had already begun to pour into the portal.

The Divine was far from done here, but he was drawing his hand back for now.
