Going to start working on a post. Probably do one for our lovely NPCs first and then stir up some trouble for anyone walking around aimlessly.

@Atrophy In terms of the world, for the most part assume all political leaders are still the same. Pop culture is the same including the publication of comics. Aside from those in certain circles most people wouldn't have realized that there are people with powers in the world until about 2014. Plus having DC, Marcel and the like establishes the idea that having super powers should mean fighting crime.

Chapters more refers to the use of subplots with. As each subplot closes that's essentially a chapter done and the main plot will move ahead. Of course I wrote the posted subplot before really getting my thoughts together so I will likely rewrite and then post to reflect the changes. Plus it will give the rest of you something to do haha.

The Fairchild Electronics arc is largely intended as just a personal one for Emory; that's why I chose to have the product they were marketing essentially just be a taser. They aren't any real threat to Hyperhumans at this point, they're just monetising on the fear and public unrest. Honestly, I am surprised that so many people have headed to the rally.

I think there is definitely potential for FE to become a larger threat later on. Money is power, and they have a lot of that thanks to their global enterprise and an especially generous charitable donation. But currently FE doesn't care enough about Hyperhumans to allocate resources for producing anything of real threat to the Hypes; their involvement is solely monetary, they've yet no motive for a vendetta.

Wraith has a lot of his own solid plans for the RP that are much more interesting than anything to do with FE, and I think people should focus more on those elements - the real danger to Hyperhumans, from whom the convoy is running. Fairchild Electronics will only ever be a minor antagonistic presence at best. The entire scene has kind of been blown out of proportion by the amount of characters who have attended; it was initially to be a scene purely for Emory to face his father, but then after a discussion with Wraith we realised that the electrical nature of the rally would give Zeke an opportunity to shine.

Now, I'm not sure what will happen. There seems to be too many Hypes present for Zeke and Emory to cause a fuss with any degree of convenience. I personally was expecting most people to want to introduce their characters and head for the convoy. I don't see the other characters attending just to see whether they can get a deal on the Pacifier, and frankly I feel that a large group of Hypes causing a scene at the beginning of a roleplay about keeping a low profile is more than a little counterproductive.

I will likely just have Emory face his father in private. I don't know what the rest of you plan on doing.

I honestly thought that this was where Wraith wanted us to go. I can easily edit my first post and have Gar head to the plantation instead. I have no problem with that.

EDIT: I've edited the post. Gareth's no longer headed to City Hall, but going to the convoy, instead.

@Lord Wraith Thanks, I err, realised after I went to bed last night that I'd worded that wrong though. I didn't mean to ask about what Lisa and Harrison are doing, but about their overall personalities/relationship with each other sort of thing. If they're just names you grabbed for the purpose of naming NPCs, I will happily make stuff up... >.> :P Sorry about that confusion.

Also, I agree with Tyler's suggestion about the timeline being easier to maintain and actually more useful in the long run than brief post summaries. Don't put too much on yourself, eh, we can do the reading since we joined. ;) But timelines are love.

Yeah they were just names I grabbed for the sake of the NPCs having name haha.

I'll work on a timeline instead of my current summaries since it seems that's the best compromise across the board.

*Stares* Some Wraith never gave me that review of my character so far. I think I might be missing a sample post but ya know that's not what I'm worried so far about. I can put that up. Need to know if the powers and such is okay. :D
