Reluctantly retired roleplayer.

Except when I'm not.

Why are you here when you should be writing posts?

You can edit a bad draft, but you cannot edit a blank page.

Alright, cutting straight to the chase. I know it's been a while and all but I've been busy (in a good way) and I lost the motivation to write up the idea I had in mind. With that said, I'm not dropping out, but if it's allowed, I'd like to temporarily make Raven a villain. That's following the comics a bit more closely and it'd be fun to write.

If not, then it's fine. I'll wait for a crossover or crises, or possibly rewrite some stuff I had in mind.

What exactly did you have in mind regarding making Raven a villain?

@Lord Wraith

OK So, I can try with the cajun firestarter? lol

I would run it by @Saint Maxx first as he holds the X-Men.
The app looks like a beast... 'sides that

Someone covered the X-Men team, so I want to do Gambit I really want to do Magneto but I was told he was unacceptable.

Yeah sorry, we're not accepting sheets for villainous characters unless they've been reimagined as a hero but even then Magneto is pretty crucial to the X-Men story and has already appeared in the IC so I'm afraid he's definitely off limits at this time.
Will someone point me to the character sheet/template?

You can find it at the bottom of this post.
@Star Lord Loved the action in the latest post as well as the callbacks to Wonder Woman's history with Captain America. Interested to see what Aladdin's end goal is and why he seems to be manipulating everyone. Not to mention the fact that Wonder Woman has a council watching and evaluating her every move.

@HenryJonesJr I am loving watching your 'Asgardians of the Galaxy' plot unfold and how you seemingly effortlessly introduce new characters to the story. The banter between Quill and Thor is always gold and your Heimdallr was spot on. Looking forward to seeing how Mongul factors into all this and when and where my favourite Guardian is going to show up. Need me some Rocket.

@Hillan Time fighting back is a great way to change up the status quo and I'm so happy that you're changing things to make it interesting for Thawne. Curious to see who this first villain will turn out to be, I'm not without my hunches but there's nothing quite definitive enough yet to make me certain. Thawne's inner monologue, as usual, is great, especially his bantering with Gideon and remarks about Barry Allen. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see what else you have in store.
Thank you for the assistance! I should be able to sketch something out over the next couple of days. And if I have any other questions I won't hesitate to shoot them your guys' way.

Sounds good! Looking forward to seeing your sheet!

Hello! I've been lurking about for some time now! I think I have an idea for a concept but I had a quick question first.

So cute I'm toying around with adapting an outline for a sprawling
3-part Aquaman fanfic, that I've had lying around for sometime that I think would translate well here. It's heavily inspired by Peter David's run with a strong focus on the cyclical nature of destruction that is Atlantean history and a strong emphasis on Aquaman's connection to the Clear.

My question then is how much creative freedom would I have with it, particularly in regards to Namor? Is the framework that you described, the definite canon of Atlantis in the RP or considering his dropped status, do I have permission to approach it from a blank-slate.

I of course would prefer the second option, but I'm fine either way and can adapt if that is not the case.

I'm more than willing to give you a blank slate to work with, I've put all my old 'Namor' posts in hiders in the IC so it's all open waters for a new player to come in and reshape Atlantis to their needs.
@Saint Maxx What a great post. The dialogue, the stakes, the description was all expertly crafted but what I must say I enjoyed the most about this post was how masterfully you tied your ongoing plot with @DocTachyon's. Using the mutant bias to paint a sympathetic light towards Spider-Man and then just the description with Jean reaching out and being the first in the IC to truly discern between Peter and Symbiote, perhaps even more so than Peter himself, it was a great read. Definitely very excited to see where this Crossover is going to go and the impact it's going to have on both the X-Men and Spider-Man himself.
