Absolute Comics - Season Two: The Monster Within

Hey everyone,

I've heard through the grapevine some people are feeling a bit isolated and excluded so I've created a dedicated category on my Discord Server for the game. There's a channel for just general chat and I've created a second one for also plotting team-ups and other IC related events.

Please do note this is not intended by any means to replace or negate the OOC. All major announcements and discussions will take place in the OOC. Just thought it might be nice to have a Discord to chew the fat and get to know each other a little more.

That's a fair point. (Just got of work now so I'm looking some stuff over/slowly reading through where I left off in the IC) Thanks for alleviating some of the unnecessary stress.

Not too worried about the Constantine matter, I had a few ideas even like two months ago with replacing John with somebody that would work a little bit better with the story. Kinda ambitious me to pick such a highbrow ticket as an NPC anyway, so I kinda knew something like that would eventually happen. So we can just officially consider him un-NPCeed and I'll edit the sheet to reflect that soon. And of course if they want to hash anything out with me with what they wanted to use Zantanna to do a potential collab or something in the future, if they really needed that arc I would be more than happy to do that as well.

So I guess what I'm saying is I'm willing to at least take the shot. What did Michael Scott/Wayne Gretzky say? "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and all that."

Awesome, feel free to edit your CS in the roster and just let me know once any updates are done and the other GMs and I can give it a once over and double check for anything that might conflict.

I still feel bad though, because I don't want to promise anything and then like not post for a month or whatever. Mostly since I feel that would be unfair to you, @Lord Wraith, @Inkarnate, and everyone else for that matter. So I don't want to be like yeah lets go! Unless the GM team is fully on board with taking that chance.

Really your call, even after being listed as inactive for over a month, no one has tried to take Zatanna although I do know of a Constantine sheet in the works I'm not sure how much that would hinder your plans. I do know you had him listed as an NPC and I'm pretty sure it was going to be vice versa for the Constantine sheet but I don't honestly see why the two concepts couldn't co-exist.

Either way, my main point is that while yes we're trying to enforce the fourteen-day posting requirement, realistically unless someone swoops in to take an abandoned character, the most punitive action we take is moving your name from active to inactive on the roster.

For some reason I just wanted to do this last bit of the first 'story' in first person rather than third person. Guess I just like trying to get in the characters heads even if I'm not that good at it. Hope that doesn't put people off too much. For the most part I'll be sticking to the usual third person but I like dipping into first person now and again.

I've been tempted to do first-person perspective for Terry as well. I find with the street level characters, especially those solving cases, it works quite well. Either way, nice to see you back, good to know I'm not alone in Gotham.

I'm auditing a course this week and the amount of reading that I'm doing is far more than I anticipated. I'll need to put Billy and Toyboy on hiatus until the weekend.
