Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

I think Karn so far has 2 loses and 2 wins (one of those just grossing Nolan out) Otherwise, get a cup of water and he's easily beatable. (Unless you go overboard like cats to Ranma)

On another note, I've been thinking for a while now to give Ull the gender change ticket. Will even out the male-female gender ratio a little and won't be so awkward when creating demigods XD
Right now it's 14-6 in favour of male gods :)
I don't see why that's necessary. There is no 'reproduction' or 'fertility' domain, so gods can basically do what they want when it comes to procreating. A bunch of the character sheets state that gender is merely aesthetic or for the sake of better comprehension anyway.
I hope you're not counting Slough as an eligible female god. I mean, there's precedence for male gods and horses, but getting flirty with Slough would be like a 2-for-1 bestiality and necrophilia. Yeesh. I regret writing that, but I might as well post it.
Okay, that one genuinely hurt. :/ I know its in good fun and all and the character is an asshat, but I was actually a smidgen proud of that scene. I'm not exactly expecting praise for my writing, but can we tone down a bit on actually tearing my idea apart?

Indigo has a water spell doesn't she? Well that's a relief, either way C-ranks won't bother her too much. C-rank water magic wouldn't be powerful enough to land on her, yet alone wet her to the point she can't use magic.
Perhaps not with water magic, but I imagine there's one or two guys in Frenzy Plant that might be able to 'wet her' with their appearance alone.
But would life spill out of the Deepwoods proper, so the forest ends up extending many, many miles more?
A bit, yeah. The Deepwood itself is like the great epicenter of Slough's power. Makes sense that the peripheral forest would be pretty big, though obviously the trees would be smaller.
Well I'll give anybody else a bit of time to tell me if they want to help, and then I'll create a PM conversation with all of us. In the meantime, I'll put the (very) rough and ugly outline of the world up here for everyone to look at.
What do you all think of the general layout of the terrain? I made up the last map as I went along and it ended up a little strange, so this time I'd like to go in with more of a plan.
And @Lugubrious, could you clarify the size of the Gilt? Your IC post made it sound as if it expanded all the way from the Deepwood to the edge of the Fractal Sea, but that picture you sent me had it stop a fair ways away from the coastline.
It goes about 3/5s of the way between the Deepwood and the Fractal Sea, and the rest of the land between the Savannah and the Sea is barren desert, but not Firewind desert.
Agreed, but at the end of the day we only have two seas. I could perhaps expand both seas drastically and add some gulfs coming off them, but then we'd essentially have one great ocean and then a huge, connected landmass. Regardless, another ocean or two is probably going to appear when Kraken comes back.
I'm not sure how big Deepwoods is but I don't think it's like the Amazon or anything. Keep in mind I'll surround it with some hills and filler stuff like in the previous map. @Lugubrious any opinions on its size?
