*controls light magic, smiles smugly* Why not.

Ok you shoot it in the face, and I'll block its attacks
Out of Curiosity:

Is anyone interested in fighting a monster, specifically one that is made from darkness and shadows?

Sure why not? I am always up for a fight. Cody doesn't have any (useful) attacking options but he is a pretty good defensive mage.
I wasn't privvy to exact conversions, but I did figure that it wasn't alot. This butcher shop is cheap and a bit shady, but since Nidhogg can eat just about anything, it doesn't mattee how bad the food is, in fact, just makes it better for him. But yeah, didn't know that abd will keep it in mind for the future.

Try the wikia
<Snipped quote by Raijinslayer>

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't jewels approximately equal to yen which in comparison to American or Canadian money one yen would equal one cent (since this is fantasy money we're not taking conversation rates into account). So all the meat Nidhogg is eating costs fifty cents?

That was my thoughts exactly. 50 jewels is NOTHING.
100 jewels = 1USD
Jasmine

@Raijinslayer
"Magic isn't evil. Magic is simply a tool, only the caster can be evil." Jasmine responded a little more cheerfully than she should've. She had a rather naive way of viewing magic.
"I mean magic has so done so much good for the world in the right hands, and the opposite is true. However as long as good people exist bad people will as well." Jasmine mused as they entered the butchers shop.
Watching Nidhogg disappear now she fished around in her pocket for her coin purse. She pulled out 50 jewels and paid the man before taking a seat as she waited for Nidhogg to finish.

Cody

@Prince of Seraphs
"....Suppose you're right." Cody mumbled in agreement. He knew it would be a long shot but shouldn't they exhaust all means at least?
He followed behind Dawn silently as he scanned their surroundings. There must be a clue somewhere? Surely? At this stage in time he forgot he should be looking for Jasmine and was focused solely on the task at hand; find Elizabeth.
Cody continued his train of deep thought as he waited for Dawn to finish talking with the cotton candy man. If he was someone who enjoyed magic and found themselves lost in Crocus where would they go?
Glancing upwards the stadium entered his view but he quickly dismissed the thought. Surely not. He only just noticed that Dawn was talking to him and now turned back to respond.
"Hm? How can I you ask? Everyone has a unique magic signature, that's something which I've found out. No magic signature is the same. If she uses her magic in a place surrounded by large clumps of magic like the stadium I would probably struggle to distinguish however." Cody admitted with a shrug.
"View it like a fingerprint. I never forget magic signatures. I've been searching for a particular one for a while now, why would I want to forget them?" Cody added as he glanced down at the ground while he spoke. His fists were at his sides, clenched and trembling slightly. He wouldn't forget that magic for as long as he lived and had developed a habit of remembering magic's in case....well he wasn't sure what he was preparing for.
7:30 AM. No sleep as of yet
Cody

@Prince of Seraphs
"I see..." Cody mumbled in response. He didn't need her to use any sort of large scale magic, simply a release of magical power would do the trick. And considering how unstable her magic seemed to be, he decided quite quickly that it would be a lot safer and easier to find her and quickly.
Cody heard a noise from behind them and glanced over his shoulder. He narrowed his eyes and scanned the area quickly. However after finding nothing he simply hurried after Dawn, and once he caught up he heard Dawn muttering to himself.
"There's a cotton candy stall about a block from here if memory serves. I was involved in....I mean I passed it the other day." Cody was about to tell Dawn about the fight he had had with the Celestial beasts but quickly managed to avoid mentioning it. Better to not mention he had gotten into a magical fight after that lecture about magic in the streets.
"However might it not be quicker to ask if someone had seen her?" Cody suggested with a shrug. It was a long shot, but maybe someone might have a clue as to where to go.

Jasmine

@Raijinslayer
Jasmine was horrified by the scene which unfolded quite rapidly, however she couldn't tear her eyes away from it. When Nidhogg gestured for her to follow she snapped out of her daze and quickly nodded.
"Ah..yes...Coming." Jasmine mumbled as she shakily followed the man. She was rather curious actually about how his body could do such actions without dying. It must be some form of rare magic!
Offering a smile now as Nidhogg introduced himself she took his hand and gave him a firm handshake.
"Nice to meet you Mr Duarthy, I'm Jasmine Lockwood....or at least I am pretty sure I am." Jasmine responded with a curtsy.
"Why am I here? Well like I said, I came here to watch the games with my parents. However I got separated from them and got transformed into a sword using magic apparently. When I came to I was in the Phoenix Wing hotel after I was saved by a couple of their wizards, I had no memories and to be honest they're still a little jumbled. I was meant to be searching for my parents with a wizard called Cody, but I got separated from him." Jasmine explained thoughtfully as they continued their walk to the butcher shop.
"However I am most interested in your magic Jack! It must be pretty rare!" Jasmine stated excitedly.

???? ????

A purple haired girl was sitting atop a rooftop holding a meditating pose while she waited for her companion to return. She liked to meditate whenever possible, and what better time than now to do so?
She slowly opened one eye when she heard her silver haired companion return, the silent girl now nodding towards the purple haired girl.
"Mistress I have returned." The silver haired girl said as she got down on one knee in front of the purple haired girl. This made the voluptous purple head sigh.
"How many times I have told you not to call me that? No matter, what was so urgent you had to leave anyway?" The purple head asked irritabely. It was uncharacteristic of her companion to do such sudden actions without some sort of prior warning, and considering she was her underling technically she would rather her not act on her own anyway.
"I had heard Nidhogg-sama was in town and went to investigate some other rumours. I have something which might interest the Master." The silver haired girl face and voice was devoid of all emotion as she started her report. This news certainly caught the purple haired girls attention.
"Oh really now? Do go on." She said with a slight smile. Where there other targets in town?
So just got a commission done of one of my characters and a fellow rpers character and been thinking of getting another one for maybe Karn. What ya'll think of the artist's work?

Which characters? And nice.
@Lunarlors34 I don't think my mention worked, did you see the post?

Yeah I was at cricket all day and the pub all night XD
8AM and no sleep XD
Cody

@Prince of Seraphs
"People don't care what non-magical people do, however trouble caused by a wizard is often exaggerated." Cody replied with a sigh before letting out a gasp of surprise as Dawn grabbed him by the collar.
Cody stared Dawn in the eyes with a rather relaxed look.
"I never said there was anything wrong with her. It could easily be her magic or an outside influence." Cody responded calmly while raising his arms in surrender. He had meant no harm, and even if this developed into a brawl he doubted he would win anyway.
Might as well show he is relatively harmless.
"However uncontrolled magic is a hazard. Even mine was, and it's useless." Cody added before Dawn released his collar.
"I didn't see where she went no, however if she uses her magic I can pinpoint her rough location. My magic's nature has made me sensitive to the usage of magic." Cody replied nonchalantly as he straightened up his cloak. Cody felt responsible for Dawn losing sight of his sister and wanted to make up for it.

Jasmine

@Raijinslayer
Jasmine seemingly either missed or ignored what Nidhogg had said about her mother as she began to tenderly touch his wound. This looked very serious, however there was a massive flaw in this plan of his.
"Um...I-I only just got into town myself. I came here to see the games with...my parents." Jasme responded slowly with a sheepish smile on her face.
"Ah...ummm...What would Cody do?" Jasmine thought aloud frantically as the bleeding started to escalate now. What would the Phoenix Wing mage do in this situation?
