Except Shiro doesn't keep tabs on every member of Shadow Heart....just most. James tends to slip under the radar for a lot of people XD
So she wouldn't know where he is in the city anyway, and I am unsure if she can teleport out. Her teleport only works for short distance 'blink's more than anything

When the shadow beast is exposed to light, it will be effected by physical attacks. But when it's in the shadow/darkness, it's body becomes like a cloud of mist which can be dispersed, but reformed more easily, so physical attacks won't be as effective. So thanks Nidhogg for creating that dome xD

Great now I'm beginning to think she has red hair...depending on how I moved my laptop screen she has red hair, or brown hair.
However since I know what game she is from....I think it's red.
Maybe some sort of hybrid red-brown/maroon colour.
EDIT: I am so unsure what now, I'll just post her picture here and see what everyone else thinks...
