Jasmine Lockwood

@MarshiestMallow
Jasmine didn't need much of a reason to escape this situation she had found herself in, so when she spotted Penny leaving the guild hall she took a couple of tentative steps that way, but stopped and looked over her shoulder towards the preoccupied Jamie.
She seemed to be busy with the Ariel situation, so not wanting to waste any of her guild masters time with her own problem, the younger girl quickly followed after Penny after her brief hesitation. She had found it odd that Penny had just walked out like that, but didn't give it much more thought.
Instead, she was wondering how Penny would react to the news of her magic. Maybe she would find it amusing that the day after she had offered to teach the blonde fire magic she had somehow gained water magic?
Pushing open the guild door, another thought arose. Could Penny even help her with this magic? They were kinda considered opposites weren't they-
"Ow...."
Having fallen flat on her buttocks, Jasmine looked up towards what she had just walked into. It was Penny, it would seem that she hadn't gone far from the guild hall and while the younger girl had her mind elsewhere she had walked out the guild and straight into the Phoenix Slayer.
Again. Jasmine had a strange habit of walking straight into Penny, it had truly reached epidemic levels now surely. Scrambling back to her feet, the blonde quickly bowed.
"O-oh Penny? Sorry I-I didn't see you there." Having completed 17 apologetic bows in the blink of an eye, the flustered girl looked away.
Great, now that she was this far she couldn't think of how to tell Penny. Should she just straight up tell her? But what if she asks about it? How can she even explain this, when she didn't understand it herself?!
Catching a glimpse of the paper in Penny's hands, Jasmine seized the opportunity to try and ease her nerves. Without even knowing what the job request be, she had made up her mind.
"You're going to go do a job then? Do...do you mind if I come along?"

What the hell were these things?!
They were quicker than they looked, but then again Char was already exhausted and sore from her running before, her outburst of power and well kinda having a bullet lodged in her shoulder. She wasn't sure how much longer she could run for, as she was already begining to stagger as she ran. Her legs hurt, they felt like someone had encased them in concrete after stabbing them with needles a thousand times, and she just wanted to give up.
But that would mean those....things would catch up. She had no idea what they were, but it was obvious that they weren't good news. She could try to fight them, but did she actually have the strength remaining to fight that group?
Thankfully she wouldn't have to make much of a decision as a....cat-girl came crashing down next to her? In fact so close to her, that the near miss of being crushed by her startled her. She managed to somehow not trip over her own two feet as she stopped, looking back expectantly as she took this opportunity to regain her breath.
She was certain that, whomever this cat-girl was, she must be strong. Why else would she come running to her aid? Well, that was what Char assumed anyway. She didn't manage to see the fact that the cat-girl had smashed face-first into the dirt, thankfully for Rizu, but the scene that happened next....
......
......
"What the fuck am I watching?"
It was difficult to comprehend what happened, let alone put it into words. The cat-girl started firing off her revolvers, the bullets flying off in god knows what direction but completely harmless to the imps that was for sure.
Then the girl ran in there, flailing about with her mace and almost throwing herself off her feet as she swung it around like a club. She was missing them by quite a margin too, was she even looking where she was swinging?
But still, despite how ugly her methods were. They seemed to be effective as the imps retreated. Maybe they just weren't game to take on the both of them?
While she was standing in disbelief at the sheer absurdity of the scene that happened before her eyes, she was too slow to realize the cat-girl was now almost tackling her to the ground.
"Motherfucker!" The pink hair girl shouted, gritting her teeth as the pain in her shoulder became prominent once more. What the hell was this girls problem?!
Was she trying to help her, or kill her?!?
"Can you get off-w--w-w-w-w-w-hat do y-y-y-ou think y-y-y-y-ou're d-d-d-doing?!" Squirming under the cat-girl but too weak to actually get away, Char turned bright red as Rizu began sniffing her. Her voice came out as a stuttering mess, and as a reaction to it she took a swing at the girl but that was after she had already lowered her head and demanded pats.
.....
Seriously, what was this cat-girls problem?!
"No way, get the fuck off!" The pyro-user demanded, her face still red but she had somewhat regained her composure, and went to push the girl off her but was having difficulties due to...well trying to use only her uninjured arm.

Escape.
That's all that Charlotte could think about as she scrambled about in the back-alleys, the maze of many different alleyways and lanes that made up the majority of her childhood. Normally she would've shaken the police chasing her, but a quick glance down at the blood that still oozed from her shoulder and from her burnt fingertips, falling with a soft plop as it hit the cold concrete beneath was enough to see how she hadn't lost the cops.
The makeshift bandage, which was just some random person's curtain she had ripped down as she ran past, wrapped tightly around her left shoulder did little to stem the bleeding and it was already saturated, as was her entire left coat sleeve. She was lucky she wore a lot of red and black anyway, so even if she was in a crowd it wouldn't be as noticeable.
Well besides the soft plopping noises which reminded her that it was still dripping off her fingers. She still couldn't believe she had gotten herself in this sort of mess, again.
Her father was going to be furious with her regardless of what happened, just the severity of the punishment will depend on the outcome of this chase. Or it would, if she hadn't found herself suddenly free-falling straight into a tree.
"Fuck! Shit! Fucker! Cunt!"
A lot of broken tree limbs and some more loud cursing later, the girl eventually came to a tumbling halt as she crashed into another nearby tree. This led to some more loud cussing, mostly of the 'fuck that fucking hurt' variety.
Groaning as loudly as she was in pain, Charlotte slowly rolled onto her stomach and laid there for a moment. What exactly had happened? What the hell did she trip on, and what the hell had she crashed through?
It still hadn't hit her that she was no longer in the alleyway till she smelt the dirt her face was currently buried in, her eyes slowly opening as she took in the site before her.
"The fuck?"
Dirt? As in, soil dirt not just the 'dirty' alleyways. That which trees and plants grew, was currently quite literally in her face right now. Had she fallen through someone's window and into their greenhouse or something?
Like sure that made no sense, but it made the most sense in her current situation as she slowly pulled herself up so that she knelt on the ground. Quickly brushing the dirt from her face, the red head blankly took in her surroundings.
"...."

So much for her greenhouse theory. She must be dead, or maybe she had hit her head on the ground was delusional? Who on Ennui's god's green earth knew. For now, she just wanted to, needed to sit down for a moment.
Leaning up against the trunk of the tree she had crashed into, Charlotte tenderly poked around her wound, grimacing and cursing loudly as she did. Ok, so bad idea.
But she could still feel and move her arm, so despite the worrying nature of her bloodloss, she didn't think there was any major damage to it. Luckily, hopefully.
Ok, so she should probably still get it looked at. But with who? And where? She had no idea where she was, or how she got here.
As she pondered her increasingly worsening situation, the sound of snapping branches caught her attention. People?! That meant help! Hell, she didn't even care if it was the police chasing her at this point, help was help. After crashing through a tree and being shot, she needed medical attention.
"Hey! Help!" Without a second thought, she began calling out to whomever was making the snapping noises. Of course in hindsight this was a rather idiotic idea, but whether it was just how she acted normally or the loss of blood, maybe even some concussion, who knew.
"....You've gotta be fucking with me right now." Char groaned, soon regretting everything she had decided in life which led her to this moment.
Her plan had worked, that she couldn't deny, she got the attention of what was nearby. Unfortunately what was nearby was a small band of brown, sharp teethed little monstrosities that looked like they had walked straight out of a generic fantasy world and right in front of the young girl. They were clad in nothing more than cloth and had primitive clubs and axes as weapons, but for someone who wasn't used to literal demons popping up in front of her they were quite a terrifying sight to behold.
Especially given there were about twenty of them, and one of her. Her course of action was obvious.
Scream at the top of her lungs, scramble to her feet and begin running for dear life as yet another chase was started that day. Just another ordinary day for the girl.

Orion

Orion was unsure how long it had taken him to reach his designation, and even more so that he was actually in the right place. He had followed mostly second hand rumours and whispers amongst some travelers who were looking to flee before the demon army ascended upon the rest of the realm, of course where they planned on fleeing was beyond Orion's thinking as there was nowhere to run in his eyes, so he wasn't exactly trusting of the information. But regardless, here he now stood.
The place was in a state of complete and utter disrepair, the buildings looking like a gentle breeze would cause them to crumble down and crush whomever happened to be inside at the time. Yet, still there seemed to be a small group gathering near the center as...humans began raining from the sky?
Ok, Orion had seen some crazy shit. But he couldn't help but stand gobsmacked at the fact that there was literally people falling from the sky and no one seemed to be batting an eyelid at the sight. That had to be weirder than the fact that people were raining from the sky, the fact no one cared about it.
Blinking and shaking his head a few times to try and regain his composure, the little Kistune was about to venture into the camp when something else caught his eye.
This truly was a strange place, not only was there an *orc chief, but there also seemed to be several humans, two Nekomata's, a dwarf, a humanoid clad in armor and a dragon just casually perched about nearby like it owned the place. Which, knowing their race, it probably thought it did.
And to top it off, there were wormholes popping up and dropping nameless noobs who will act as cannon fodder for the roleplay, and no one was batting an eyelid at the sight bar Orion. Truly, nothing more spectacular than this existed.
Shelving those thoughts for now, he decided he might as well talk to whoever was in charge, probably warn them about the dragon which was right there, about fifty metres away. Could be a future problem ya know?
But first, he was hungry. So after probably going unnoticed due to his size by everyone that he passed, he scooped up a bowl of curry and began munching away on a nearby log. His tail swished happily as he ate, obviously enjoying what was his first warm meal in days of travelling.

Name: Orion

Appearance:
Additional to the image, Orion stands at a mighty 4'7 and has the build of a human child.

Age: Looks about ten, but looks are deceiving

Gender: Male

Race: Kitsune

Magic: Enchantment
Kinda like what it sounds like, Orion has the ability to enhance the weapons and armour he crafts with enchantment spells. These can vary from making armor lighter, to giving swords the ability to catch fire with a singular word. The longer he works on the enchantment, the stronger it is. Most of his enchantments draw on the users magical supply to stay in effect, though his more sophisticated enchantments won't take any outside of being used, the stronger the enchantment the more magic it drains.
If someone manages to damage his enhancement, it will wear off almost immediately.
He can also enhance the abilities of people in or out of combat for a short amount of time by using the magic on others, though it doesn't work nearly as effective as it would on a weapon due to short time-frame on spell casting, amongst other reasons.

Personality: Contrary to what some may think him to be, Orion is quite serious and blunt. He isn't afraid to voice his opinion, regardless of whether or not he is asked or if it may offend anyone, and can be perceived as viewing himself as above others. Though this is more the matter of holding people to standards which they cannot usually reach rather than thinking he is better than anyone else.
Though he isn't always serious, he loves a good, cold alcoholic beverage despite showing a rather large intolerance to alcohol and can be quite easily bribed with sweets, illustrating his mile long sweet tooth.
He also is a very curious Kitsune, often disappearing for lengthy periods of time to satisfy his curiosity. Whether it be exploring, experimenting with a new enchantment, or something else.

Background:
Orion is the first born son of his village's chief, the only child his father and mother had before she passed away when he was but a cub. With his father busy running the village and his mother being, well dead, Orion was mostly left to his own devices with various people coming and going as his caretaker. He was an early bloomer in terms of being able to read, and had a high affinity for all sorts of magic but eventually settled on enchantments despite some scorn he got from his fellow Kitsune, in general the ones who wielded the elements.
'Why waste powering something up when you can just become powerful' was their argument, but Orion didn't care for personal strength or glory; he just wanted to create a perfect weapon, which in turn was to be wielded by someone equally as powerful and defeat the Demons which had been cropping up at the time.
During his studies he began to craft his own weapons to enchantment, finding it easier to do so than have others create cruddy duds and rip him off. He could make it out of whatever he wished then, and enchant it as he forged it.
However his own knowledge of crafting weapons was limited, and thus he packed his bags and set out to a dwarven village to undertake an apprenticeship. He had read somewhere that dwarves were one of the greatest blacksmithing races, so who better to learn off of!
After some negotiations, the fluffy little foxboi managed to convince a blacksmith to train him. Though just as his apprenticeship was about to be finished, a part of the demon army attacked the dwarve village, his master dying in the ensuing battle as he was forced to flee once the warriors had been felled.
With nowhere to go, he went to go home before hearing about a 'mysterious camp' that had cropped up, and unable to help himself he went to investigate.

Equipment:
The basic tools for blacksmithing, so hammer, smock, tongs and whatnot. Couldn't carry much considering race + size, but those tools he has bought with him have a 'Weightless' enchantment to them.

Vesta Celestia

And a special guest star appearance from Vivi Celestia

@ADamnFiddle@Spriggs27@Rekaigan
While Maria spoke her thoughts about the matters at hand, the Celestia heir continued to indulge herself in her tea without seeming to have a worry or care in the world. Everything that Maria had said was true though.
Technically, she had no right to adopt the girl from a Knights point of view. However the girl had wandered onto the Celestia property, meaning it was now a Celestia matter. How much authority the Knights had from there mattered little, seeing as the nobility had more say on their land than anywhere else. So long as no laws were broken, the Knights couldn't really do anything. Especially as the Celestia's answered to the Royal Guards rather than the Iron Bell.
And adopting this child under these circumstances, Vesta couldn't see a law broken here regardless.
But the reason behind her cool attitude was that she knew that Maria would find a way to excuse this anyway. It's not like Vesta was harming anyone by harboring the child, and as she said this place was one of the most secure in the land.
As one would expect from the paranoid, power-crazed Celestia family. The defenses were way over the top, but also very much justified.
"I'll be sure not to give you a reason then." Finishing her tea as Maria gave her warning, Vesta tucked some hair that had come loose back behind her ear.
"I have a few ideas on how to avoid these 'rumours' you speak of, as amusing as letting people spread such false information I would rather not have the family name slandered. We have a certain someone already doing a fine job in that department." Vesta added, finishing with a rather irritated tone. Indeed, no one would make much of a fuss if they were to hire a new handmaiden no? Give the young girl the proper outfit to go with it, and none would be wiser for it.
This actually reminded her of a talk she had with her father, many years ago. When she had bought Avery back from the mountains. Her father had been deadset against the idea of taking him in then, and he still seemed very against it even now. But even so, here they were now.
"Indeed she is." Nodding in agreement, Vesta allowed herself a rare moment to lean back and relax. This truly was refreshing, just a nice chat with her childhood friend, enjoying the company of people who weren't absolute batshit insane in a serene environment.

Such a contrast to the atmospheres of the last month.
But it was but a fleeting feeling that lasted no more than a moment as Maria bought the incident currently happening outside to her attention. Giving her friend an inquistive look, she took a moment to take in what she could gleam from so far away.
"This feels like...Vivi's magic." Confusion began to set in as she stood up from her seat. Why would Vivi be using magic right now? She practiced early morning and early evening, and Vivi was a stickler for her schedule.
At that moment, the door slowly creaked open as the red haired maid Ronni stuck her head in, a panicked look about her. Then again, she always looked panicky and nervous.
"Um, Lady Vesta. We have a problem by the front gate." At Ronni's words, the very atmosphere of the room changed. Vesta wore a heavy, annoyed frown as a serious tone began to set in.
"....I see. It would seem that this would be a good time for Elanil to get a first look at what I can teach her. Tell everyone to stay away Ronni, I'll deal with this myself." The maid didn't need to be told twice as she quickly scurried away. She hadn't explained the entire situation, but Vesta had been able to piece the puzzle together reasonably well.
It would seem that Vivi would be the one currently engaging this 'problem' they had by the front gate. What had happened to the guards was unknown to Vesta, but best not to take any chances.
She would deal with this herself, swiftly. And at the same time, show Elanil what a properly trained mage could do.

....this girl was truly grating on her last nerves. Grinding her teeth irritably, glared at Noir as she rushed her.
"I've had enough with your delusions, but I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain this to you. El Fura!" Deciding that if Noi was going to be stupid enough to try and take her head on, Vivi dashed forward with assitance from the wind.
With the admittedly small gap between them closed within the IQ that Vivi believed Noi possessed, the mage aimed a powerful gap up towards her chin before aiming a series of punches and kicks that combo'ed into one another, each attack releasing a burst of power wind from either her fists or shoes. But Vivi made sure to keep the gap between them as it was, she couldn't afford the girl to get too far or else she would be able to escape the combo.
But regardless, she didn't plan on giving the girl a chance to get a hit in, this was an all out attack. Of course this was also very draining on her gate, seeing as hers wasn't that great to begin with. It would eventually offer an open to counter if Noi could last long enough.
