Jasmine Lockwood and Sora Kaze

@Caits@hatakekuro@t2wave
"Umm..if...if you say so Jamie." Mumbling under her breath, Jasmine felt her strength return and took a couple of small sidesteps away from Sora towards Jamie. Just in time too, as Nolan's outburst made her flinch, and he might've barreled straight through the girl. As it stood, he bumped shoulders with Sora. If Jasmine had the courage, she might've called out to Nolan but as it was she simply cowered next to Jamie.

.....
This day was turning out quite lovely wasn't it? It had started so well, yet had gone sour so quickly. Alas, this happened far too often for Sora's taste. It would seem that Nolan too had a similiar thought to Sora as he well and truly cracked it, earning a bemused look from Sora as he finally had stopped nursing his head. He didn't say anything, he simply watched as Nolan bumped him on the way past and waited till he had left the premises before speaking.
"Well...not sure what that was about. Oh well, doesn't concern me." Shaking his head, Sora turned back to Jamie.
"Hmm, so this Ariel girl absorbs magic then?" Acting like the outburst never happened, the mage looked down towards the merged dual. He didn't expect an answer from Jamie, seeing as it was more just repeating back what she said to confirm, and to further prove that he didn't give her a chance.
"Then I understand the root of the problem, at least the majority of it. You see...well, I do apologise in advance Ethel.
I'm gonna have to break employer/employee confidentiality."
Pausing to give a quick gesture to Ethel, he resumed in the blink of an eye.

"It's a long story so I'll try to sum it up as concisely as I can. Ethel here, her physical body was destroyed two years ago and reformed to be made entirely out of ethernano. Mostly anyway, there is still a will attached to said ethernano. Her body is also very fragile as it stands, which is a key point. Even the slightest disruption can be catastrophic, henceforth I placed a magic seal on her to help with it. But it looks like I didn't make it strong enough." Taking a moment to build up suspense, and catch his goddamn breath as it was kinda draining to have a huge monologue after all, Sora took out a seat and, well, sat down. What else would he do?
My theory is that your guild member here, with her ability to absorb magic, disrupted that delicate balance. Whether it was by taking too much or taking any in general, I cannot say. But, Ethel's body couldn't take the sudden loss and broke apart. And the ethernao that...uh." Sora stared blankly at Ariel for a moment, completely forgetting her name. After a quick pause, it came to him and thus he turned back to Jamie.
"..Ariel(?) here absorbed would've contained Ethel's will, since it would've had no where else to go without her 'vessel' so to speak. I..I know not why she resembles Ethel, maybe it's something to do with the girls magic? I'm sure you know more about that than I do. So, as it stands, our problem remains as such. How do we separate the two? I could try and seal Ethel's magic away, but that has it's own complications. And it doesn't guarantee that Ethel will actually leave the body." Assuming a thoughtful look, Sora had finished voicing his opinion on the matter. He was interested to see what ideas Jamie had, maybe one of her members had a magic that could help?
But man, he needed to surmise quicker.
That was tiring, and he hadn't even covered why Ethel had come to the guild. He had breached enough confidentiality for one day, and Jamie hadn't inquired on the matter so no point bringing it up.

Since it comes to my attention that my mentions apparently didn't work

Name: 'Char' Charlotte Jones

Appearance:

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Magic: Like Akio, Charlotte comes from a world which superpowers are commonplace. Her power is that of Pyromancy, meaning she can create and manipulate fire. Though she is reasonably inexperienced with her powers due to having not gone to school to learn how to control them since she was 12, she is capable of minor things like small fireballs and lighting cigarettes, also making metal very. very uncomfortable to be touching. Especially sitting on.

Personality: She doesn't like hamburgers, she *loves* hamburgers. But in all seriousness, Char is for better or worse, a delinquent. She cares little for others safety, she's bossy, vulgar, uppity, distrustful and threatens violence when she doesn't get her way and in a way acts very Princess-like, spoiled even. She acts tough and claims that nothing scares her or is beyond her, when really it's more an act she puts up so that people don't try to approach her or get close to her. As such she tends to be alone most of the time and she prefers being like this. Despite the tough girl persona, she is easily flustered and will take it out on those around her as such. She is also not afraid to resort to violence, obviously, and has a bit of a short fuse and lashing out is once again quite a common occurrence.
She seems to have deeply rooted respect with Akio, viewing her almost as the older sister she never had and follows her as a bit of a 'lackey' as a result.

Background:
Once upon a time, there lived a young girl. Her father was a member of the mafia, not quite a big boss but also not quite a small fish either, and her mother had passed away when she was only a year old. Rather than get some stranger to help look after his child, or any sort of female figure for that matter, he left the matter up to himself when he had the time or his own colleagues and lackies.
Now of course, this also meant this young girl was exposed to some rather....obscene scenes quite often. Murder, arson, severe beatings, muggings, and even helping kittens out of trees! The insanity almost never ended, their evil ways certainly knew no bounds!
But despite all this, the goons very much treasured the young girl and messing with her meant messing with them. Bullies, disappeared. Kids who spoke badly of them, ended up beaten or their parents were forced to move away.
Soon enough, people in general began to cut themselves off from the girl. Her fellow students began to make excuses to not be near her, even the teachers feared being around her in the case they did something to earn the groups wrath.
Except of course for the 'bad apples' of the student body, the ones who thought knowing her would get them into the good books with the local mafia. Smoking before, during or after school, beating up her fellow students, bullying, extortion, blackmail and even meeting together at the local arcade to take it all up for themselves and play games, during or after school of course but never before, and bully the local kids even further were these young, upcoming delinquents hobbies.
Eventually however there came a problem, with them skipping so much school, including the vital 'Power Control 101' class, the girl never learned to control her powers properly. Of course, this lead to disaster when she was 12.
This disaster certainly got her expelled, in she was a wanted criminal for it. With his hands tied, her father instead had no choice but to enlist her into the group.
Here she first leaned the basics for her powers, but seeing as she was so far behind it took her a few years to get to the level she is now. Which is just above 'adept', if that.
But not only that, but she met another older girl soon after being allowed into the group 'officially', i.e. actually allowed to do things rather than just stick back and watch. Here she met an older girl named Akio, and after a colossal level fuck-up on her first mission which Akio dragged her bleeding, unconscious ass out of the two soon became close, especially seeing as they kept getting paired up on missions with another thanks to her fathers connections with the higher ups.
How she got to the world is an interesting story to say the least. She had been wandering through a local store, which paid the mob so they knew her reasonably well, when some officers came into the store to arrest someone who had just been caught shop lifting.
Upon noticing the girl and recognizing her, the officers made a move to arrest her despite the store clerks desperate, fearful pleas that it was a case of mistaken identity. One thing lead to another, and soon once again the girl found herself in an alleyway, blood oozing from a gunshot wound in her left shoulder and her fingers slightly burnt. The police were hot on her trail, following the droplets that fell from her fingers as she stumbled around in what was essentially her second home in a desperate attempt to flee, but without luring them back to the mafia hideout. Despite the patch-job she had done to try and stem the bleeding.
That was when she found herself falling all of a sudden. A wormhole had opened up beneath her, and not noticing it had stepped into it. Now she finds herself injured and alone in a strange forest she had never seen before, surrounded by strange creatures one could only dream about, gamelike monsters that were part monster, part human.

Equipment:
Numerous packs of cigarettes-You wouldn't be a delinquent without these
Makeshift bandages
Clothes-The clothes on her body of course duh. She didn't turn up naked....or did she?

She wasn't too sure what to have expected when Emily came running out, but appearance wise this certainly wasn't meeting them. At first she thought she had made a mistake, this girl didn't have a tail for a start. But then again, that didn't mean much. Hiding a tail was simple, at least to a woman of her genius.
But upon a second glance, she could feel the unmistakable aura around the girl. She had found one of the hosts, for sure. But which one was she? She didn't want to act too rashly, otherwise things would just get more annoying and complicated than they already were.
Upon the teary eyed girl seeming to stop before her out of fear more than anything, the woman simply sighed.
"Did no one teach you simple manners, girl." Looking at Emily through half closed eyes, the woman bought her hand up. In that same moment, a series of stone pillars erupted out of the ground in a pattern around of Emily so as to inhibit her movement.
"One should give their own name before asking for another's. Simple courtesy." Her tone as cold as the stones pressing against Emily, the woman took a couple of steps forward and spoke in a rather cryptic, ominous tone.
"Though I must admit...I'm disappointed. You must be fairly new if you don't know me, or maybe you're simply incompetent. Which is it, Witch?"

When the stone pillars erupted out of the floor around her, Emily screamed out very loudly in both fear and shock while more tears rolled down her cheeks. The poor scared girl wasn’t made for this situation and it was quite obvious that she was just very very scared.
“I… I don’t know what you mean! L...Leave me alone… just go! I r...really don’t… know….. Wh….” Her words slowly faded away as her voice grew weaker and Emily had slowly closed her eyes, passing out against the stones. Just a few moments later, her body suddenly began to change. The color of her hair changed from a very bright and pretty pink to a more pale one. Her skin’s color became much darker; it very much looked gray and her eyes began to glow in a bright but menacing pink in contrast to her skin color. Wings began to grow out of her lower back and soon reached an impressive length. Her hands now looked more like claws and so did her feet; having long and sharp claws at the end. The being pushed its hand against the stone pillar in front of it and after a short moment it crumbled and broke into pieces as she stepped out of the cage.
“Could you stop this, pretty please?” She said sarcastically while brushing some dust off of her clothes. The girl sighed out and stared back at the unknown female. “I’ll admit, I really did not expect to meet you here. But I suppose it was inevitable after a while… though I am surprised that you wanted to scare that poor girl so much.” With one hand covering her mouth she chuckled at that thought. “Not like I care. You probably didn’t know that I wasn’t her.”

The woman came to a stop as Emily began to transform before her very eyes, not exactly a shocking turn of events but unexpected certainly. With the transformation complete and her stone pillars reduced to dust, the Witch spoke.
It was made abundantly clear that the host and Witch were not one and the same, the transformation being an obvious sign to back that up.
“I didn’t think someone could become that scared so easily, you’ve chosen an...interesting new host to say the least Kindness.”
With an effortless shrug, the woman took another step forward. Despite the smile she wore, the woman had a menacing feeling and tone about her.
“But to think, an investigation into a slavery operation which led me to overhearing whispers about a peculiar girl with a peculiar tail is the reason I stand before you here and now….Fate truly is an amusing mistress, no?” While what she spoke was the truth, she had realised half way through this search for a ‘Demon Girl’ that it was either a powerful cultist or a Witch by the sheer stench they left in their wake, so it wasn’t as big as a coincidence as she was playing it out to be. Though it was still a massive coincidence.
“I suppose you don’t have a particular reason being here then do you? I assume by what I’ve seen, you’re probably just going with the flow of what your host decides.”

“Well… it was more by chance I suppose. I do agree though that she is interesting. I just let her do as she pleases, it is fun to just observe and watch every now and then. Besides, if she were to get herself into trouble, like now,” The witch gave the other woman a piercing stare with her glowing eyes. “I can always step in. Having my host die would be unfortunate. I can’t really depend on these stupid pigs that call themselves worshippers of me.” Again the witch chuckled. The thought of these braindead useless human beings bowing down in front of her pleased her.
“Though what are you doing in your life? You seem to have made yourself a name, investigating a slavery operation and demonic entities like a big girl.” Kindness was as kind as ever.

“Hmmm, is that so?” The woman mused. So it wasn’t her which was active at the moment. Kindness was a terrible liar, the woman was far, far too honest and uncaring of the consequences to lie.
Upon reaching that conclusion, the menacing feel about her dropped drastically almost instantly. Kindness was a potential threat she could take care of at another time, for now she would do well to keep her on side.
“Oh...nothing in particular. I do as I please for the most part, as you know I’m a rather free spirit. No one can chain me down. Just that I don’t take it too kindly when others put chains on anything, so I feel the need to liberate it.”
Ignoring Kindness’s attempts to provoke the woman, she stepped to the side and, looking upwards, began to admire something in the distance. Without turning to face Kindness, the woman added;
“Which is exactly what one of the Seven Witches are doing right now. Enslaving humans and demi’s alike for some purpose I have yet to work out. Hence why I was so hostile with your host before, as I hadn’t worked out which one you were just yet. I assume the Witch responsible isn’t yourself?”

Obviously, Kindness had some thoughts about this conversation too. After all, talking to that kind of person is always very intriguing and most of the actual thoughts about the conversation stay hidden. After all, she really saw no purpose in provoking a fight right now.
“”How… poetic.” She yawned excessively to show how bored she was of this phrase that nothing can chain her down.
Emily tilted her head slightly upon hearing what she said in confusion before finally laughing. “Pffffhahahaha! No that is not me. That sounds so boring! But that sounds like one of the sisters. But you make such an… effort... “ With her clawed hand she pointed at the fire behind her. “Now that poor girl is homeless.” she said sarcastically. If she really wanted a home she could easily get it.
“Though I wonder who that is. I always expected one of them to act up and draw attention to them again. They just can’t keep their hands still…” The witch followed this with a drawn-out sigh before licking her small fangs.

“I had doubted it was you, it didn’t suit you one bit. You’re far too….’direct’ for such methods.” Dwelling on Kindness’s words, the woman stared off absently for a minute or two before turning back.
“It is indeed a shame they’ve been drawing so much of the Royal Guard’s attention, would’ve thought they would at least have the intelligence required to go about their business without making such a circus.” With a disappointed sigh, the woman now glanced over her shoulder.
“I would watch your back from here on out, Kindness.” With a stern tone, the woman’s eyes narrowed considerably.
“The Royal Guards are on edge because of this Witch stirring up trouble, some old discrimination and grudges have boiled to the surface. A Witch is simply just that to them, a Witch. They’re all the same to those backward-thinking, incompetent fools.” She didn’t need to warn Kindness of course, in fact it could’ve been far, far more amusing if she hadn’t warned her.
But for now, Kindness was a valuable asset. Whether she knew it or not.
Clearing her throat, the woman started walking a few steps back towards Kindness.
“I will find this particular Witch and put an end to her little game, one way or another Kindness. Along with any of her allies or those who attempt to get in my way.”

After the last sentence spoken by the woman in front of her, Kindness looked a little annoyed. Her expression was both annoyed and angry, though quite obviously it wasn’t to a high extend.
She parted her lips with her teeth still closed and made an annoyed noise. “Tsh.” Kindness took a step forward too and stared right back into the eyes of the opposite.
“I don’t know what you try to threaten me for. I do whatever I want and whenever I want. Also…”
With that, the girl looked away again, seemingly no longer interested in appearing as serious.
“You know me, I don’t want anything to do with that. Though I… appreciate the warning.” She said in an overly sarcastic voice, using her hands to emphasize the sarcasm.
Kindness put both of her hands behind her own head, taking on a rather relaxed pose.
“As mentioned before, I don’t intend to do anything right now. Why would I attack the Royal Guards? I am not that stupid. Although it would be quite fun.”

Inhaling sharply, the woman pinched the bridge of her nose before exhaling loudly. She knew Kindness was dense, but this was pushing the envelope no?
“I wasn’t threatening you, the opposite in fact.” With her head in her hands, she sighed again “And I didn’t think you would attack the Royal Guards, you would lose if you did, but they are quite likely to attack you simply for being a Witch and nothing else. Hence my warning.” Hoping that she didn’t have to explain it again, or in further detail, the woman allowed her hands to fall back to her sides.
“But I do require your assistance in identifying which one is causing this problem. There’s a possibility she might approach yourself or one of the others, if she hasn’t already. How you deal with that is up to you, regardless I suggest contacting me immediately.” Sensing one or more people beginning to draw closer, the woman seemed to remember they were standing next to a large, open blaze.
Right. Burning buildings tended to attract a crowd didn’t they? And she had been questioning Kindness intelligence….
Letting out an agitated hissing noise, the woman clicked her tongue loudly before looking off in the direction Shina approached from.
We will have to cut this short Kindness. Simply put, in return for your assistance in this matter I’ll make sure no harm comes to your host. I’ll leave how to contact me with your host, but I suggest you make yourself scarce. Your current form might...startle people.”

Angrily Kindness gritted her teeth against one another. “Tsh. As If I couldn’t take down a few lowly humans…” She crossed her arms in front of her body and shook her head.
“I don’t promise you my assistance but…” Kindness too felt someone approaching and her wings already began disappearing. “I promise you neutrality.. For now. If it seems like fun to help you then i will. See you soon, lovely talking to you as always.” She finished with this sarcastic comment before her body had fully transformed back into the demon-tailed Emily. Immediately the body went limp and fell to the floor; She was unconscious.

With Kindness having withdrawn back into Emily's body and the young girl collapsing to the floor, the woman bent down and shook her head. Dealing with her was such a pain, but for now she needed her and that's all that mattered.
Upon hearing Shina, the woman looked over her shoulder. She was that presence? This girl....who exactly was she? She wasn't dressed in enough armour to be a knight, but too much to be an ordinary citizen. I mean it was only some chest plate armour, but that was still more than most people cared to wear.
At the mention of being hungry the woman couldn't help but laugh and shake her head. This girl seemed to be a strange one anyway. Picking Emily up and holding her bridal style, turning to face Shina.
"Is that so? Then in return for you name, let me treat you to something while I get this girl to the Iron Knights." Greeting Shina with a smile, the flame behind them seemed to snuff itself out entirely despite being a huge blaze just moments prior.

Afternoon

Avery Ackbar Celestia

Having finished his errands, Avery had begun making his way to the others. He needn't know where he was going, but simply followed where he could feel his summon. With the time taken to get Aya some food from the inn and a weapon from a nearby vendor, plus the time taken to get to the little cabin in the woods, it had been at least 2 hours.
There wasn't much to the cabin, one quick glance could see while it was reasonably made, it wasn't exactly a professional job. Also it was rather tiny, but rationizing that Ease had built it himself it was still rather impressive.
Humming softly as he strolled up to the little porch built on the outside, Avery pushed open the (probably) open door and announced his presence with a beaming smile on his face.
"Honey, I'm home~" Not being able to help himself with his little joke, he held up a brown paper bag which had Aya's food and jiggled it softly. Though her weapon didn't seem to be noticeably on his person.
Cody Bloodstein

@Zarkun
Despite not having actually been involved with the guild till the aforementioned Grand Magic Games, Cody couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. These poor workers had been suffering for months as James had said, yet no guild has bothered to come to their aid.
If Cody had worked up the courage even sometime during the couple of months he had been a member of Phoenix Wing to take this request sooner, then they could've put an end to this by now....
Despite seeming downtrodden for a moment, he seemed to pick himself up mentally quite quickly as the duo reached the forest's edge.
"If it's anything like the lessons you've been giving me, I feel sorry for them." The younger boy chuckled. Yes, so long as James was here Cody was confident they could get this done in no time at all.
Looking around at the forest before them, the young mage couldn't help but sigh. How would they find these guys amongst all this?
"I suppose you don't see any convenient tracks out and about do you James?" Please if it was only so simple. They would probably have to-
…..
Looking at the bushes before him, he noticed a scrap of clothing sticking to a branch, standing out like a fly on a wedding cake. Surely not. Surely it wasn’t that easy to find a lead?
"You wouldn’t think…." Cody asked, pointing towards the scrap uncertainty.

Jasmine Lockwood, Ariel/Ethel and Sora Kaze

@Caits@hatakekuro@t2wave
Jasmine felt herself go weak in the knees at Jamie's words.
First use of magic? Looking blankly back at Jamie, the teenage girl couldn't help but blink a few, dozen, times in disbelief. She must've heard that wrong. She had tried learning magic before, she hadn't shown any potential towards any magic or even the ability to use it.
Now she could suddenly shoot water out of her nose, and that was a magic? Well it would explain where the water came from, considering the sheer quantity of it.
"T-there must be some sort of mistake...I...I..." The idea of having gained what she had wanted since she was a small child in such brief circumstances obviously didn't seem to be adding up for her. Surely if she had any aptitude for magic, someone would've told her, could've sensed it.
But yet...there seemed something oddly familiar about this. But she couldn't quite place her finger on it-

"I don't mean to interrupt." The sudden voice made the girl almost jump out of her skin. If it wasn't for the table she grabbed onto, her legs might've given out. Where had this man come from?!
He had seemed to just appear out of thin air beside her!
"...Hey is that girl ok?" Sora asked, pointing towards Jasmine while looking at the group gathered over here. He had only come over here because he had seen Jamie, and seeing as she was likely to remember him from Crocus he figured she would be the best one to make his inquiries.
"Anyway, I suppose you lot haven't seen an eccentric teenaged girl with the mental age of a five year old, with sky blue hair and blood red eyes come through here have you?" Pausing as he looked around expectantly, he began to gesture the height he was looking for.
"About this tall? Wearing an oversized hoo-" Looking down towards where the combined Ariel and Ethel sat, one could almost see his soul slowly corroding away. You had to be kidding, right?
How?
Why?

"Hmm?" Realising that Sora was staring directly at them, the girl tilted her head quizzically. This man seemed so familiar....Sora was it? She couldn't quite remember, but she was sure that was his name.
He felt important to her, but also completely strange and foreign at the same time. Where did she know this man from? Her jumbled memories were still just that, but a few seemed to be connecting.

Sora could feel his rising annoyance begin to settle in for the long run, he pinched the bridge of his nose. Goddamnit, he was going to kill those two useless sisters when he got back.
"It is unfortunate we keep having to meet in such....circumstances Master Jamie. Even if this is far better than the incident in Crocus." Not looking up, he indicated towards Ariel/Ethel with his other hand.
"Oh and edgy kid, nervous wreck. The name's Sora Kaze." Indicating to Nolan and then Jasmine, Sora continued "Obviously you've met Ethel. I'm her....well I suppose the best way to phrase this is 'guardian'? Or maybe 'caretaker', since she doesn't like me being addressed as such. Something about she doesn't need a guard. Daft girl." Shaking his head, he couldn't help the little quip he added. He really had no idea where she got this damned stubbornness from.
Definitely not him, never him.
He had so many questions. Just as many as he believed this group held, maybe less as he had an inkling of sorts as to what happened but didn't have any information to back it up with. There was only a handful of outcomes after all.
Clearing his throat, he decided that while he had this groups undivided attention he should continue to speak.
"Anyway I'm sure you've all got a lot of questions, but I don't believe I can answer them until I get an answer to my questions first. Does anyone know what happened? Who exactly did Ethel fuse with, and what is their magic?" All these questions were vital to validating or refuting his own theory, meanwhile he didn't see how he could answer their questions without such information anyway.

Having grown bored of listening to Sora, the girl instead turned her attention to the drenched, and that was putting it lightly, Nolan. He also seemed more than familiar to her. She felt like she had a strong connection, a strong bond to Nolan but once again her mind was too busy resembling static on a TV to be able to put just about anything together bar the absolute basics.
Still, she felt the overwhelming urge to reassure him that she...that Ariel was fine. Why she thought this, she was still trying to work out. But things were certainly feeling like they were becoming clearer, if only just a little, anyway.
"It's ok Nolan." Shuffling along her bench, she moved into a position that she could reach out and tug the back of his saturated shirt.
"Ariel is fine."
Yeah, even the discord is quiet ATM
Mostly cause a series of unfortunate events keep hitting lurks and he's having a difficult time having time, effort, etc. as a result.
Cody Bloodstein

@Zarkun
The tone and volume of the foreman's voice made Cody flinch visibly. The man was rather large and seemed quite angry, and seeing as Cody wasn't a usual combatant it wasn't difficult to make him flinch like so.
What the foreman said though was pretty dead on and somewhat expected for someone in his position. These workers were his priority, he was meant to keep them safe and sound while they worked yet they kept going missing. That coupled with the fact the quest had been on the board for months before Cody had taken it....
He couldn't help but a feel a tinge of guilt, though in that same vein he had only recently joined the guild and hadn't paid much attention to the board as he wanted to make sure he wouldn't be dead weight on such a mission as this.

"Thank you for your time foreman, we will get them back."Seeing as James said all that really needed to be said, Cody left the stressed builder to go about his work before following after his mentor. As they walked, James asked for his opinion on the matter at hand.
Obviously James had his own theories, so either he wanted to see they were on the same page or this was another one of those 'tests' he did to keep Cody on his toes. Regardless, the younger boy took a moment.
Thinking on the information the foreman had given them for a brief moment, the younger boy gave his answer to James.
"Hmmm I'm not too sure what to think. I don't know enough about the bandits to know if this is sloppy work by them or not, I mean this could just as easily be a trap or they're feeding false information. I mean, this could be a cunning ploy. Or it could be overconfidence on their part." Shrugging, Cody continued to weigh up which one seemed more suiting to the situation.

"But...if I had to make an educated guess, considering how long they've gotten away with this, I think it might be sloppiness on the part of perhaps overconfidence, and maybe a tad of incompetence. I mean, what would they lose from Mr Takafumi learning this information? They clearly don't see him as a threat." Still not seeming sure, Cody gave his final answer on the situation at hand. It mightn't be the correct one, nor might it even be the same one that James held. But if Cody was wrong, then he could use this as another stepping stone to improve himself.
"And if it is indeed a trap, then we simply need continue with caution to make sure we don't fall for it."

Jasmine Lockwood and Ariel/Ethel

@Caits@hatakekuro@t2wave
With a combination of anxiety and confusion being prominent over the new sensation she felt, Jasmine had quickly moved to where the small group of Dalton, Jamie, Nolan and 'Ariel' were. The man she had soaked, she felt like she recognised him but couldn't quite place her finger on it.
She felt like he was one of the more (in)famous members of the guild, but with how his drenched hair and clothes clung to him it made it a tad more difficult for her to recognise him considering she was certain she hadn't met him before anyway.
But more importantly, he looked bewildered at being drenched and who could blame him?
Not knowing that the look he had was simply how he usually looked, grumpy, she felt like it was her fault that he seemed to be mad. Of course, she was partly to blame but she was probably more the last nail than anything else.
"I-I'm sorry...umm, I..I don't know what happened myself." Working up every ounce of courage she had, she managed to at least try and talk to Nolan, who from her perspective was intimidating as fronting up to your mother after having broken her favorite china. Her nerves weren't helped by the fact she also had no idea what had happened.
Gripping the bottom of her dress tightly, she suddenly felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Like before, a series of new sensations seemed to bubble to the surface. She also felt the sudden urge to need to speak with Penny.
She wasn't sure why, or what about, but she just needed to tell someone...something. It was on the tip of her tongue. And it was important, but she didn't know where Penny was....
Jamie was right there, but it would seem that she might have her hands full?
"I...I'm sorry...umm, I-I don't know your name. Jasmine, Jasmine Lockwood." Realising that despite her having come over to apologise to Nolan, she seemed to be off with the fairies.
Oh god, she hadn't made the man anymore mad at her had she?! Just the very thought made her grow visibly pale as she slowly backed towards Jamine.
"Master Jamie...um. I-I feel like..there's something wrong with me." She knew whatever was on the tip of her tongue was important, but what was it?!

Feeling a hand place itself on her shoulder, the confused young woman turned back to look at Jamie. This woman looked both familiar, yet at the same time she had no idea who she was.
"Master Jamie?" She seemed unsure as to whether or not that was the new woman's name. She looked back towards Ferrin, then back towards Jamie before frowning.
"Ariel doesn't want to wait. Ethel needs to talk to him." Gesturing to Ferrin as she spoke, the young woman went to shake Jamie's hand off of her shoulder.
"Jamie can't stop Ethel. Sora says no one can tell Ariel what to do." At her own words, she seemed to pause uncertainly. Who was Sora again?
Even though she had used the name, she herself didn't seem to know the person yet also felt like she knew him. It was a feeling that was hard to describe, but it was both infuriating and frustrating. Yet despite that, she felt incredibly calm and in control.
Unless physically restrained she would proceed to then continue walking towards Ferrin, simply following the powerful and unknown attraction she felt towards this man she had never met before in her life.
Among all the uncertainties she felt right now, that one fact alone she knew was 100% true.
