Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Well that seemed to take forever to write!
Cody tilted his head, the breathing of the trapped motivators, their heart beats themselves, the slight shifts they made as they struggled not to get burned, all telling him that they now knew just how dangerous their subjects were. And perhaps how foolish they had been.

Gerswhins footsteps, her movements made Cody turn to her, to watch her light, flash and dim with each action, flaring as her rage flared, it seemed to Cody. He knew he couldn't step her, or perhaps he didn't want to stop her, but he knew the senseless killing was not the answer.

The sounds pierced Cody's ears, and for a moment he feared he might go deaf, not that his healing abilities would allow that. He swayed slightly, and for a moment it seemed he would fall. He didn't, but it was close as it all washed over him, he was lost in the sounds, the smells, the winking of the lights out of existence indicating the death of another motivator.

A pain grew in his chest, and he became even more pale, if that was possible, sweat glistening on his forehead and cheeks, and he felt sick. He swayed again, violently

'I need you to stop, Gerswhin, or it will be you killing me'

His voice was barely stronger then a whisper, and it seemed to take all his strength to simply remain up right, and to maintain the prisons. His breathing came in harsh gasps, making s whistling sound as he breathed in, as if he was trying to suck air through a straw.

It didn't seem like Gerswhin would stop, or perhaps she hadn't heard him, as yet another body fell to the ground with a thud. Perhaps agent Dioxide heard him, or perhaps he had found his voice, as he told Gerswhin to stop. The screaming pierced him, going right through him as if they shock his very cells, and for a moment he didn't seem to hear Gerswhin.

Something boiled up within him, and he screamed, the lights flaring painfully even for his eyes, and his breathing came faster and harder, and it seemed that with each breath he got less and less oxygen.

'He's having s panic attack'

Agent Caits voice seemed to cut through everything else, and the lights dimmed once more to normal, and Cody drew in a deep breath. His eyes narrowed slightly, looking to Gerswhin, trying to ignore the scents he would rather not process.

'Yes'

For a moment Cody wasn't sure if he was saying use to killing or yes to stopping, and that frightened him. If he condoned killing, what did that make him? If Gerswhin killed, if she continued, what did that make her?

'yes, you should stop. Two wrongs don't make a right, and what will you get from killing them? Why should you stop? Because if you don't, you'll be no better then them. You want revenge? They are just following orders, and they are probably afraid that if they don't, it will be their lives. Go for the head'

Beyond everything else, he didn't want to see another life wink out of existence, not when he doubted he was even strong enough to take a step without falling.

Cassandra knew that she had perhaps made a deadly enemy then, but she couldn't honestly bring up the effort to care. She stopped when the other girls stopped, giving a small smile, and said "you did nothing wrong. Pleasure to meet you, Itsuku. I'm Cassandra. I hope you are okay, but I'm running late to meet someone. You can message me, new friends are always nice" Cassandra gave the girl her details, and then apologized for having to go, "I'm sorry, really, to just run off after that, but I seem to have ticked off the white king, and I don't want to bring trouble to you, and I said I'd meet someone, they're probably wondering if I'll turn up, but I'll find you later!"

She smiled again, and wanted to give the girl a hug, but was afraid she'd hurt her, with all those bandages. "see you!" and then she started off, in the direction of a market to begin with.

Despite everything, it didn't take Cassie long to get to Eris's place, a take out bag in one hand, held steady as she found the keycard, accessing the apartment. Glancing about the apartment, Cassie didn't let herself get distracted, finding the kitchen, she placed the soup on the counter, figuring that would be something light for Eris.

Finding Eris, Cassie made herself comfortable, and logged in.

Congratulations, Nies Hellum!

Rather then the usual welcome message, Nies was greeted with the welcome news that she had leveled up. Pleased, she took a moment to assure herself that she was safe where she was, before bringing up what she knew of the black city, before just deciding to seek Eclipse out, as likely she would hear the other girls activities before she saw her.
@t2waveCaits suggested I have one of my characters interact with Harry. But he ran out after classes started.

Hmmm.

Maybe have yours late for class?

@Mistress Dizzy it's okay, take your time and don't worry about the site.
@Caits Now that the meeting is adjourned, shall I have Rosalina wonder through Crocus looking for rogue mages to join the Knights?

Pff, my spelling is terrible and I still don't use autocorrect. If I can't figure out how to spell the word, I google it, and hope that is it close enough for google to understand.

Plus, I think that having to type out the words, and figure out how they are spelled, rather then relying on auto correct, helps me improve my spelling.

Oh my spelling has improved, but...

I use autocorrect mostly for the fact that if I write a word it changed it to the right word because my fingers are fat and I hit the wrong button sometimes
