Need to crossover with @Supermaxx's Punisher at some point. Not want, need. Being in Gotham I plan on crossing over with Micki for some Birds of Prey (with the Question) action and of course having Helena and Vic run into Batman. We've talked about Black Mask a bit.

Don't mind the Boy Wonder, he's AI. He's not real.
It is nice to use an OOC for once.
I haven't written this much in this timespan since Nate told me I should run Kara as Superwoman. That was seven years ago.
Just to be clear, whataboutism as a logical fallacy is when its being used to discredit an argument or accusation (as in the definition you helpfully linked), as opposed to just suggesting we might avoid ganging up on someone in a comic book rp thread from a high horse.

Essentially.
I'd like to think that one can hate both of these things and want them to be changed for the betterment of society. But I have been owned in the marketplace of ideals, and that's just my two cents any how.

AI was meant to be a tool, not as a replacement for artists. The issue with the ethics of what these AI are trained on (people SHOULD be compensated) and how we utilize it to make positive progress for society are other conversations, for sure. It needs to be regulated, but we as the working class cattle that we are, we cannot stop it. Technology moves forward no matter what, so the best we can do is how we engage with it.

Plus, I don't just hate gen-AI for purely environmental reasons; they're just ugly as hell to look at, and I don't want to see them on my roleplaying site.

Yeah, they certainly look unnerving. The way these generative prompts AI uses have improved scares me a little. Just compare it to the results a few years ago.
Nates Robin goes out wearing a wooly hat and mittens

He learned from the best.
I am generally in the mindset of not using AI for posts and admittedly have been regularly jump scared by the AI children in the thread.

However I do find the dogpiling a little funny when I imagine everyone who is anti-ai for environmental co2/water use reasons here, is probably also not vegan (happy to be wrong on that one though). Of course no one is perfect on every issue, but that's a solid reason not to come at an issue with sanctimony, glass houses and all that.

I have shrunk my traditional dairy use in the last few years by huge margins, I will say. I drink almond and rice milk (almond/soy/rice have their own problems don't get me wrong).
That's pretty much how I'm picturing Thomas yeah

He's not that old, chief.
Literally me reading posts and making up for myself what all your characters look like in my head as I go

Hasn’t really been a problem until now. Honestly, it feels like a nothing of a problem when it comes to the content and momentum/rhythm of the game.
