At least I posted more than my once-a-game usual.
It is times like these where I think first person POV sheets would've been fine here. Cool to see some of the relations written from a first person perspective.
What's worse, using these games to host my fanfic, or to host my 1x1's?
I have an answer, but I do not wish to answer for concerns of public safety.
When I submitted my sheet on the basis of 'I'm trying to re-discover my ability to write and enjoy this long-time hobby of mine, and I do not intend to collaborate or interact with other players/characters for at least the first entire arc of my story', I meant it. I've been very clear about my intentions with my participation, both to GMs and other players. If it's rubbed anyone the wrong way then I consider that a small price to pay for what has been, so far, a very successful foray back into a pastime I love dearly but have had steadily robbed from me for the past two-and-a-bit years and won't apologise for it.
For the record, I didn't mean to provoke this kind of response.
These games are hybrid games and attract different styles of hobbyist writers and that's okay. Do what you do, you. My opinions on the disparity between role-playing and traditional fanfiction writing aside, I obviously have enjoyed what you have done so far and hope you can use it as good momentum going forward with the hobby. We are old, we need to figure out ways to keep ourselves in rhythm. I do want to apologize for inciting any sour grapes. I prefer my grapes sweet. 😊
I had my entire arc planned out and the full 16 posts it would require (although we are ahead of schedule significantly, currently working on post 4 which is actually 6+7 from my plan) plotted and outlined before I began writing posts.
That doesn't sound like role-playing to me. 🤭
Guys you still got 12 minutes to compete with me.
Someone could still declare interest in the character and ask for an extension.
I do have a May Parker concept I never finished somewhere. 😂
