When the painkillers wear off, I'll respond to the inquiries I've got to give an answer to. Been a rough week, though I think I'm going to be dropping Black Canary even if I initially didn't intend to. I think I can handle one style of character at a time, and I gotta get Batman rolling in the next few days with a new post.
Whose your favourite reimagining of a character?
I know we have had our issues in social spaces, but I think this one absolutely goes to @Lord Wraith for me. The merger of his Guardians of the Galaxy ideas from forever ago with this Smallville-but-not-quite tale of a pre-cape Superman is pretty enticing. I actually look forward to every post as he gives enough detail to chew on but enough to not fill the belly.
Runner Up is Maxx's Punisher as well.
We've got a collection of aces in a loaded deck. I have enjoyed reading this go.

Hey all, I hate to do it but I've gotta make an announcement that no one ever wants to hear. I've been struggling to write a post for a while now, and rather than just ghosting the game (as I have done many times in the past) I've decided to just come out and say that I'll be dropping out. I do have another concept cooking, but it's one that I won't be able to do in this game due to the character being taken, so I'm just gonna sit out and wait until the next game pops up, however long that might be.

But I'm curious as to why TTRP and NRP has declined. I'm assuming Tabletop via forum just doesn't hit the same as in-person or over Discord? And that NRP is generally just more moving pieces than most people these days care to deal with? Or are there more layers to consider?
