The supernatural lore in the tab above has been updated. I believe about every character has had some sort of supernatural encounter at this point, so I'll be keeping up better on adding the information as things occur. :) If you're interested in reading through what's there to decide what you might be dealing with, have a look! Remember, though, your characters may not know the information there.

The map is also going to be updated later today to include a book store. I know, I know, it sounds less exciting than it actually is. This bookstore is going to have a lot of older and out of date texts that may provide crucial information for your characters, so it'll hopefully help to even out the playing field.

Some of you may also have noticed that a death and a seal counter have been added. The death counter will count the deaths of characters in the character tab--not simply on-screen deaths. The seal counter will count seals that have been broken. Some of these seals will be broken by characters in the RP. Some of these seals will be broken by events happening around the world. Once this counter hits 65, there'll only be one more seal until something extra amazing happens.... I'm pretty sure most of you can guess what that is. ;)

BlueSky and I have also designed some character status banners. You can look at the ones done for Sutton and Vivian in the in character tab. If your character needs one of these banners added above their CS, we'll send you a PM with the link and instructions. Most likely, you'll only need this if your character dies a painful death.

Lastly, thank you to everyone for getting caught up on posts! Everything is going really well. I'm crying and laughing constantly over these posts, and it's already going in directions I've never thought it would go before.

I lied, this is actually last: BlueSky and I have a question for everyone. Would you like us to list NPC characters in the character tab as well? Or are we fine with them just popping up in the IC without having a short little bio made? These would be GM controlled NPC characters. For example, the forensic tech at the town meeting would be listed there, as well as Amelia Pilkvist, news anchor extraordinaire.

Vivian Adder

Location: Police Station ---> Town Center
Interacting With: Zachary (briefly) @BlueSky44, Police Officers, and then the Media Crew

"Um, Ms. Adder, I have to leave, the meeting starts in a few minutes, and I have to be there. You might want to go see a doctor though and skip the meeting. I don't have anything for you to do right now anyway."

Vivian laughed, her eyes switching black and staying that way. She stalked forward, watching as the sheriff frantically ran out of the station, as if she'd spooked him. It wouldn't be all too surprising if she had. Reaching up, Vivian tugged on her face, bits of skin and pus ending up on her hand. With all the grace of a five year old, she wiped it off on the walls of the station, before making her way over to the front desk. The officer manning it looked back at her, with a cold sweat.

"Y-You're...."

"Go on," Vivian snickered. "I don't think there's much point in hiding it anymore, hmm? Shame the dear old Reverend isn't here. I've been dying to pull out his entrails."

"Get b-back!" the officer panicked, reaching for his gun. Vivian continued to advance, pulling her own gun out in turn. "We could play Russian roulette!"

The officer aimed his weapon, and fired. The first bullet hit Vivian in the chest, yet it hardly seemed to phase her. He fired again and again, each bullet hitting her, each spilling her blood, each entirely useless. Eventually, the officer had depleted his gun of rounds, and he frantically attempted to scream for backup, but it was no use. It was like a dream, or a nightmare, where it was impossible to make the slightest sound. The guard was petrified.

"The word you were looking for earlier was demon, doll," Vivian cackled. "I know this meatsuit isn't as pretty as it used to be, so you'll forgive me for making this quick...I've got to go shopping for a new one."

Aiming her own gun, she shot the guard in the head, watching as his pathetic body slid to the floor. Blowing on the end of the gun, she plucked the bullets out of her chest, throwing them each to the ground. More of her skin came off, more and more grotesque looking by the minute. She tilted her neck from side to side, cracking it gently.

"Hmm, who to use up next....?" Vivian murmured, a smile playing on her lips. "Who better than the old Reverend himself?"

Snapping her fingers, the windows at the station shattered. Enjoying the drama, Vivian vacated the station, putting her gun inside of her pocket, as she headed towards the center of town. Her plan was rather simple: abandon the now useless corpse she was inhabiting, and then, make herself at home inside of the dear old Reverend.

It was divine irony, and she loved it.

The walk, fortunately, was a relatively short one. She stood behind the press blockade, waving cheekily at a few of the reporters and crew who made the mistake to look at her. Her entire body was decaying, the skin falling off in clumps, and on her left arm, the light of day shined on her bone.

"Hello, boys," Vivian greeted with a coy smile, her eyes blacker than night. "Penny for your soul?"
Millicent Blair

Location: Boat to Mako Island
Interacting With: Alice Kennedy @Nallore

Millicent chuckled again. "You don't need to pay me back, silly. We're both paying for the boat this way, see?"

She shook her head slightly, letting the wind tease her hair. It felt so nice, like a gentle tickle against her face. When Alice handed back the phone, Millicent gripped it carefully, squinting at the screen. The brightness of the sun made a wicked glare, and she brushed her hair out of her eyes, finally able to focus on the picture.

"Woah....This is beautiful, Al," Millicent murmured, handing the phone back. "It's just breathtaking."

Eventually, they'd been on the boat for about half an hour--the length of the journey, Alice had informed her earlier. She squinted, holding her hand up to block the light, and she could make out its form. She nodded at Alice's instructions, and once they bumped up against the island, she carefully disembarked the vessel. Cracking her wrists a bit, Millicent grabbed onto the boat and began to tug it out of the water, attempting not to step on any of the fish in the process.

"I think we've found Dory...or Nemo...or someone," Millicent joked.

Jack Hudson

Location: DMV in Carrollton, Georgia

Jack nodded at her thanks, his hands clapping lightly against his sides. "Don't worry about it." He'd raised his eyebrows a bit at what sounded like either German or Russian to him--he couldn't be certain which--but decided not to press it. People ended up all over the place, in his experience, over the last couple of years. After all, he had landed himself in Georgia.

Tatiana glanced around, looking for her friend. Given by her biting her lip and fidgeting her fingers, he doubted that she saw her anywhere. His heart broke a bit for her--he knew what it was like, losing someone in this shitstorm. If all was well, her friend was just hiding somewhere, and wasn't in a tight spot.

"Vhere you come from? You alone?"

Jack nodded, sweeping the room with his eyes once more. "I spent the night in the john, trying to find some sort of sheltah here...If there are any sheltahs left." Glancing around once more, he realized that he hadn't fully answered her question. "I'm from Boston."

Not seeing anyone in the shadows, Jack sighed a bit. He was admittedly relieved that it didn't seem any walkers were around, but he'd be stupid if he thought they were safe. In his experience, bad luck came all at once. A walker had already attacked Tatiana, and as far as he knew, some other pisser wasn't too far behind it.

"We can't be talkin here much longah," Jack said. "Do you know where your friend would've split off to?"

Jack smiled awkwardly, almost out of embarrassment. He didn't even know this girl, and to be fair, she probably didn't want anything to do with him. It was dangerous to be alone in these times--yet even more dangerous to be around strangers. Humans could be more vicious than walkers nine times out of ten, and there wasn't a friendly neighborhood police department anymore to rush in and save the day.

It was survival of the fittest.

Millicent nodded, the plan seeming sensible enough. As far as she was aware, everyone in Australia was just born knowing how to operate a boat, and there couldn't be any danger to it. Besides, she remembered seeing something on the walls at school about old science projects being conducted on the island. There couldn't be any harm to it.

"Oh, Al, I could help you pay," Millicent offered, handing some of her money over to Alice. "Tis only fair, right?"

She grinned, climbing into the boat with her friend. It was a tiny thing, but they didn't need anything big. The island was hardly far at all, and she had faith in Alice to be able to keep them from capsizing. And even if they did, it wasn't like they didn't know how to swim. The boat roared to life, and Millicent couldn't help but enjoy the slight breeze from it.

"Have you been here before, Al? I'm guessing you have," Millicent laughed.

Edwina Fairfax

Location: The Sanctuary Kitchen
Interacting with: Nyt Årud/Echo - @Din, Mercury @Gilgex, Sukaina @AbandonedIntel

Eddie shrugged a bit, glancing over at the newcomer.

"Don't mind the shadow dork. He doesn't know how to treat people," Eddie sniffed. She eyes the gun on Sukaina's shoulder, nodding a bit, impressed. To be honest, Eddie had expected this entire place to be a joke, filled with people who moved things with their mind but would struggle to assemble anything purchased from IKEA.

"Name's Edwina, but you can call me Eddie," she offered with a wink. "I'm in charge of lighting."

To demonstrate, she turned the boring kitchen lights into strobe lights, grinning in amusement. Hopefully no one in the room had epilepsy. That would have been a bit awkward to explain why she had given someone a seizure...on accident, this time, of course. Waving her hand for the dramatic effect, she turned the lights back to normal, and took a sip from her energy drink.

The can, somehow, wasn't empty yet.

"Oh, and this is...Nyt, yeah," Eddie added awkwardly, motioning towards her roommate-to-be. "She does weird shit with sound."
I was waiting for Mercury to respond to Eddie's insult
