For her hair, Sutton tends to tie it back or braid it back. It stays out of her eyes that way, and if in combat, no one can take advantage of it. Makeup isn't her thing. She's got better things to attend to. A blaster will kill whether or not she's got mascara on, after all.

Personality: Raised without anywhere to truly call home, Sutton is an incredibly free spirit, prone to a nomadic lifestyle. She doesn't make true connections with people easily, despite getting along with them quickly enough. Sutton is the type with a lot of friends, but very few people who she could consider to be best friends. Her adventurous nature is thus a curse, but due to pure stubbornness, Sutton turns down chances and opportunities to give her permanence--systematic of her fear of commitment, no matter what shape or form.
However, Sutton is rather easy to get along with. She loves listening to people and hearing stories, and she has a few to tell herself. A bit prone to unnecessarily complicate things, Sutton usually goes for the most outrageous path to accomplishing something, rather than the logical one. Still finding her feet, it is unlikely that Sutton will "settle down" anytime soon. Her drive had pushed her towards joining the military, but due to her rejection, Sutton is confused and searching for something that will bring her new challenges each day--and perhaps, eventually, stability.

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: Sutton was tired of living on Tatooine, needing some more fulfillment in her life. As soon as her medical procedure was completed, she joined the rebellion ranks. Despite certain her mother would detest her, Sutton had
hated the Empire, always getting into conflicts with them among her many travels. Part of her blames them for her father being forced to run, rather than get the treatment for his tumor at a decent hospital. It's time for her to make a difference.
History: Sutton's father was an adventurer, and her mother, a prominent official for the Empire. The two of them had a love affair, and her mother kept Sutton mostly secret, avoiding the press as best as she could. Her mother received a promotion of sorts, becoming responsible for their home planet; Sutton and her father left the planet, traveling to look for adventure. Her father was a drifter, doing odd jobs, as they navigated from place to place. He taught Sutton how to protect herself.
When Sutton was eight, they spent a year in Jakku, only to somehow end up on Coruscant. The Imperial authorities attempted to arrest her father for some crime or the other, and the pair of them fled. Roughly once a month, credits from her mother would arrive, designed to be used to pay for Sutton's care and to keep her existence secret--her father, instead, gambled the money away on promised relics and artifacts.
By the time Sutton was seventeen, they had found themselves in Naboo. Her father was attempting to look for lost artifacts, when he collapsed from an intense pressure in his head. He died three months later from a brain tumor. With no family, the authorities attempted to send Sutton to an orphanage, but she stowed away on a transport ship, intent on finding her mother and making peace. She found her mother happily married, with a picture perfect family, positioning herself for a far more important position.
Rather than tarnish her mother's political career, Sutton ended up on Tatooine, supporting herself as a a scavenger for the Hutts. As soon as she turned eighteen, Sutton
attempted to become a smuggler for the Hutts instead. During a routine medical examination, which she found ridiculous to begin with, she was informed she wouldn't last long as a smuggler. She had an illness promised to kill her within five years if not treated. She spent the next few years, while the fight against the Empire was going on, saving up for the procedure. By the time she was cleared of her medical issues, the Empire had fallen.
Her mother's line of work had fallen as well, with her scrambling to be accepted as a closeted rebel leader. Hardly anyone believes that, causing Sutton's steady line of credit from her mother to be cut off, leaving her penniless. Rather than sign up to be a smuggler as she intended, Sutton instead joined the New Republic, offering the skills she picked up from her travels around the galaxy. Skilled in combat and with an extensive cultural knowledge, Sutton was placed on the Raven as the second.
