Virginia allowed his flattery to simply roll off of her back. She didn't need a man to inform her that she was intelligent. If she hadn't noticed that before, then she didn't deserve to be called such a characteristic. Having a word for those flakes - the minocranies - that was helpful. However, she still didn't understand exactly what they were. Her mind was going wild trying to recall if she had ever heard something along those lines before. "I was journeying north from London," Virginia informed him, before she gave her best idea as to the exact location her own jump had occurred from.
"There was a horrific storm," Virginia began, recounting her tale to him. "I was traveling with two companions - one of whom was snatched up by the force...I believe I heard the voice of her people nearby, as she is not from this country, and these flakes...These minocranies, I wondered if they were from her corpse," Virginia said honestly. She described all of the details she could remember, including the impression the storm had made on her and the blaze reminiscent to dear Mosi's funeral. She described the Soulless they had found in the woods and how time and space seemed to bend as there was a jump. However, she concealed Elizaveta's identity. She did not want to reveal the death of a grand duchess.
"Forgive me, sir, but I believe I can make a deduction as to who you are as well," Virginia then said, her hands folded slightly. She did not sit down as he did. His pen and paper had given him a clue, as well as his odd behavior and the talk of obscured things. "Do you know Master Ludwig Zimmer? He is a friend."
Maeve Brennan
Location: Annan Carriages Passing Skills: N/A
Maeve rolled her eyes at Lord Egerton's outburst. Had her god been there before her, she would have had half a mind to ask him why there was a world in which Lord Egerton lived and dear Calum had perished. Perhaps a trade of sorts could have been made - taking Lord Egerton's obnoxious life for Calum's more amusing and endearing one. "I mind any man who wud sit in 'is carriage loike a petulant kid while a lady toiled away in de business av death," Maeve told Lord Rutherford. Of course, by lady she was more referring to both Lady Kirkpatrick and Millicent.
As Rutherford picked up Rory and draped him over his shoulder, Maeve nodded, grabbing the assortment of weapons that had been left. They would need to be cleaned properly to avoid rust - if there was one thing the poor knew, it was the importance of keeping what one had in working order. Money was not a luxury to waste on new things - the old would have to do and would need to last more than one generation in many cases. Carrying the weapons, Maeve walked back to the carriage, spying the ungrateful and impatient lord inside.
Lincoln's story seemed to match what Gavin had told her on the plane about Natasha - something that Cecily took to be comforting. Most lies were hard to keep matched up when given elaborate detail - inevitably, there'd be something that just wouldn't fit together. However, Gavin had also mentioned several men - and as Lincoln brought up one of Natasha's friends, Cecily couldn't help but wonder if he was one of them. Lincoln had used the male pronoun when referring to the friend, after all. It would match up...
"Lincoln...I know this might sound weird, but could you tell me about her friend?" Cecily asked. Maybe one of the men in her life that Natasha kept on 'rotating' between or whatever would have some information about if her death was natural or not. If it was a murder, Cecily suspected it was connected to everything in Justice...That Natasha must have had a previously established connection to this cult and she doubted that it was Lincoln. Maybe it was this friend - the one calling so soon after Natasha's death and asking (from what she deduced) where Lincoln was.
Location: Ville au Camp - Carnival Set Up Skills: N/A
Andromeda had to bite back a smile. While the others seemed to not be phased at all by her mentioning that she died at a circus - and that all of these carnival people were giving her subtle flashbacks to her painful death - James had true empathy. It wasn't something that she had expected or felt entitled to, yet amongst the anxiety the carnival was causing, he was giving her a good, warm sensation. She knew that she shouldn't dwell too much on her life before - but maybe talking about it with James and Sophia would help a little.
"Sure, coffee sounds good," she replied, blushing very delicately. She then glanced over, seeing that Alexandra was off bothering one of the carnival people and she had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. There was safety in numbers and they didn't know anything about these people. Sticking together with their fellow Paradoxes and the one Emendator on duty was their best bet. Hadn't she learned anything from the training they had been given? Apparently not - and the girl did seem a bit ditzy, which honestly explained some things...

Jack nodded as Tatiana gave him directions, walking forward with Jamie into the great room and setting down the carseat. He then carefully undid the fastenings and picked his son up, his eyes watering slightly, as he set Jamie down in the playpen. He tore his gaze away from his son for a moment, looking at his wife as she sat down on the loveseat. Even as tired and grimy as she was, Tatiana looked so beautiful. She always looked perfect to him - even if she was in a clean wedding dress or in the tired clothes of the apocalypse. Her beauty radiated from within.
"Solovey, I...I'm so glad to have found ya again," Jack said softly. He wanted to reach out and take her hands, to pull her into his arms and hold her, but he wasn't going to startle her. She was a fearless bird, but she was still a nightingale and he didn't want to rush into anything or assume anything. There was a lot that they needed to talk about, but he loved her more than anything and would accept whatever she told him. He hoped that she still felt the same way about him - that she still considered herself to be his wife - but their marriage had been less than one day old when they were separated.
"And Jamie, man, he's...he's so beautiful," Jack choked up a little bit just thinking about it. He paused, glancing over towards the exit to the room and thinking about the others for a moment. Ash would be fine with Riley and Amelia right - or maybe with just Riley?
Beatrice Decker
Location: Quincy: Inside House (G9 -> D7) Skills: N/A
When she traded off shifts with Alex and he asked her if there was anything to report, Beatrice shook her head. She'd reveal her private thoughts about how Thana may have deserted them in the morning, if there was no sign of Navy. There was no sense in putting mistrust in the group if it wasn't warranted. Beatrice then walked, feeling like a zombie, over to the counter and curled up into a small ball, leaning against it.
She never liked sleeping with her back exposed - it made her feel vulnerable, even in this house. Her crossbow was set down an arm's reach away, but unloaded. She didn't want to have a nightmare and shoot herself - or one of her companions - in her sleep somehow. As she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, Beatrice dreamt that she was back in the normal world and her foster father was driving her to college. They were running late - they had 15 minutes worth of travel to go and only 14 minutes until the orientation session started.
"Hold on, we have to go off road," he said, as he swung the wheel abruptly. Their car broke through the guardrail and missed the highway below that he had been aiming for, falling what felt thousands of feet before plummeting into the sea. Her family was able to escape from the car - but somehow, Beatrice was trapped inside. No matter how much she pounded on the doors, the pressure was too great. She tried to scream out to them, but they didn't answer.
Location: Electronics Laboratory - First Sub-Basement
Guin was drinking a blue raspberry flavored energy drink, enjoying the overwhelming jittery sensation that it gave her. Sure, her mother - that wretched bitch named Maddie - had been claiming to the press that she was traumatized after the O.M.E.N. incidents and continued to tell any tabloid that would listen that she was a brainwashing victim of Pietro. But sometimes, Maddie changed her tune to rehash old stories - saying that Guin was back on hard drugs and exaggerating anything she could in order to get another five minutes of fame.
Sure, the last few months hadn't been the easiest. At first, she had horrible visions of Pietro dying every time she closed her eyes. She had jumped at loud noises and reached for an icer that she wasn't carrying. She wore gloves constantly, afraid that she'd have a panic attack and accidentally switch with someone. But slowly, she healed with time - not all of the way, but enough that her nightmares stayed just that - nightmares - and were largely isolated to her sleep.
There had been exactly one other day since the O.M.E.N. attack when Pietro hadn't been around all day - and she couldn't deny, it was making her a little jumpy. She had isolated herself into the electronics lab, having plenty of energy drinks and junk food in there with her, that way she wouldn't need to leave the room if she didn't want to. "Okay, P.H.I.L., let's see about finally fixing that corrupted personality matrix of yours..." Guin had the A.I. hooked up to a high end computer she had brought from home and installed her, scrolling through the program.
She then video chatted her father, sharing the screen with him. "Hey Dad - need your help with something..." Her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten yet that day. "What is it Guin?"
"I'm trying to fix the bug in P.H.I.L.'s personality matrix - it's corrupted or something, and every time I debug him, it seems to reform..." Guin bit her lip slightly. "I'm trying to get him to n-not wish death on Pietro..." She gripped the table her monitor was on, her knuckles turning white.
"...I see..." he said, thinking for a moment. Guin nodded, looking at her dad. "I-if I can't fix it, then I'll have to trash P.H.I.L. and make a new A.I. from scratch." "Oh..." "...Dad, what is it? You're quiet which means you're keeping something from me, so spit it out," Guin said. Her hands were still shaking slightly. "Do you know why P.H.I.L. keeps getting corrupted?"
"..I might have been involved in that just a little bit."
"WHAT THE HELL, DAD?!" Guin screamed. Every time P.H.I.L. threatened Pietro, she had gotten a brief flashback to Muscles' death. She also hated the way it felt - that something she created and tried to fix kept on threatening someone she loved dearly. It made her feel like an idiot.
"It was added to his program when you started dating Pietro, been meaning to get rid of it..." Guin was just glaring at her father. "I've been debugging his personality matrix since the Serbian incident - and it just wouldn't fix...Honestly, Dad, I thought you were past this shit," she muttered, clearly angry and hurt. "You can have your dumb A.I. back, I'll make my own so you can't try to meddle with my life."
"Guin... I can easily override PHILs coding, I know how to fix it..." "How can I trust you not to fuck with my life, Dad?!" "Because I don't hate Pietro anymore okay!" "You broke my trust!" Guin snapped. She picked up her watch with P.H.I.L. on it. "Honestly, I should probably just smash this. I bet you have a tracker on me or something too?!"
"No I don't Guin! Honestly what's wrong? Just talk to me okay? Something is bugging you and I'm pretty sure it isn't PHIL."
Guin shook her head, setting down the watch with a bit of a huff. She didn't want to talk about her feelings. She was angry at her father for doing this and she had thought that he was done doing this type of thing. She was almost twenty one years old, after all. "I'm fine, Dad. Just angry that you did this."
"I get that you are mad at me, but are you feeling okay or what?" She hesitated slightly. "...Just more nightmares," she mumbled. Her stomach growled again. "Nothing I can't handle though..."
"...Guin, when was the last time you ate something?" "...Last night at dinner," Guin answered, avoiding eye contact. "...Guin, go eat something." "I'm not hungry...I have some food in here for later if I decide I want to eat, Dad, don't worry." "...Why shouldn't I worry? I'm always worried about you Guin."
"I'm not going to start doing drugs or anything stupid again..." Guin muttered. "Besides, Pietro isn't here today so I can get some work done in the lab. Eating would only slow down my process."
"You need to eat something Guin, right now!" "I told you, I'm not hungry!" "You need to Guin." "I'll get something later, Dad. Look, I'm going to hang up now. Send the patch to P.H.I.L. if you want to..." She then sighed slightly, running her hands through her hair.
"Guin, eat something now, I mean it." She ignored him and ended the call, glancing around the electronics lab for a moment as she just breathed. The urge to contact Pietro and vent to him about her father was strong, but she was attempting to resist it. She could handle a problem without him. She was Guin freaking Stark, after all! She didn't need Pietro worrying and fussing over her and fixing everything in her life that went wrong.
Dean Kesseli
Location: Parlor Room - Ground Floor
Dean had had a busy summer. He went home for about a month, visiting his adoptive parents and his adorable little sister, Carrie. While his parents jokingly called him the free babysitter, he had a lot of fun with his sister and her friends, chaperoning them as they went to the park and the mall and watched way too much Frozen. He practically had all of the songs memorized by the time he returned to Xavier's Institute.
Of course, seeing Carolina and Allison again had been incredibly confusing. He knew that he felt a little something for each of them - but he didn't want to be that guy and end up dating one girl while having feelings for another. They each were amazing people and they deserved better than that. It did help that he had the musical to focus on. Xavier had rented out a little community theater in Westchester for their performances and tech week, but for now they were practicing in the school's gymnasium. Pietro and Allison were playing the lead roles, which was interesting to say the least.
"I'm going to watch TV, if that's okay?" Dean asked Mary, since she was also in the parlor room, as he went up and looked around for the remote. They didn't have rehearsals that day for the musical - his lead had begged for the day off and Dean had shrugged, not pushing too much as to why Pietro didn't want there to be a practice. Everyone could use a day to have fun anyways.
Neil Spellman
Location: Library - Ground Floor
Neil looked at his friends sitting around the table, a slight smirk on his face. They had been playing D&D for a few hours now and a mostly eaten pizza was sitting in a cardboard box on the table next to them. Luckily, none of the teachers had come into the library and discovered them eating - otherwise they all would've had to serve detention - which was probably something awful like having to brush Xavier's teeth for him.
Glancing down at his notes, the Dungeon Master rolled a 20 sider. The result was a four and he chuckled slightly - an ambush. "Mira, during your turn on watch you hear what sounds like wild animals coming near your temporary camp - what do you do?" he asked, looking at the girl playing the bard. He was normally very quiet and withdrawn, but when it came to Dungeons and Dragons he was able to come out of his shell.
He looked at the others sitting around the table - Carolina was another member of his D&D group, and she was someone he considered to be a friend. She was one of the few he allowed to glimpse his drawings.
Guin rolled her eyes at Lance, opening up the garage door and speeding out of the house. She didn't care if Pepper heard them go or not, roaring the engine and enjoying the speed. Her hair was blown back from how fast she was going and Guin couldn't help but laugh slightly, glancing over at her friend. She knew the route to the hanger where her father's private jet was kept easily. "Lance, take my phone and do your best impression of my dad. You need to convince the pilot to get the jet ready for us, since I assume you'd rather a professional flew us."
There was probably a self flying plane that they had, but Guin wasn't certain how to operate it. She did, however, know how to most likely get the flight crew to let them use the family jet. Her phone number with a male voice? They'd have little reason to doubt that Tony was the one giving the order.
Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 12:30 PM
@Nallore@KazAlkemi@LadyRunic: Nera Appeared to them against the wall of the room. She had a book next to her which she Caused to turn from page to page. Unfortunately, Malekith's selection in literature was lacking. And since the Port Witch Coven had abandoned the house, there was no one there she could ask to bring her new books. Nera was dead, but she was imprisoned in a place of loneliness. She had always imagined that if she died in this house, her afterlife would be nearly identical to her life. She would plot and plan and make advances at Fleur, the Witch Mother.
Instead, she had nothing. It was perhaps some sort of karma - or a cosmic joke. "It's fine, you aren't the first one to mock my name," Nera mused. She floated a few inches off of the ground. It was one improvement on life - the ability of Flyte. She then floated a few feet into the air, looking at those who had come. Arnora would see the ghosts of two teenagers - the ones who perished in the home just a few months ago.
"No, we're not related," Minerva mused, her eyes flashing at Grimspound for a moment. "Nera, where's the stone?" Minerva asked simply. There were ways of making a ghost talk - especially one that was chained to a specific spot for a year and a day.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
@BlueSky44@mnkee@Nallore@KazAlkemi: By the time the Palace guards got Myrus into Luna's room, he remained in a deep sleep. His temperature had risen slightly but not enough to be alarming. A few gossiping ghosts Appeared and watched the Royals with interest. The ExtraOrdinary Wizard had still not arrived, which in itself was unusual. Arya Rincewind was anything but tardy. The little niffler scurried after them, only for a girl with tidy brown hair and a silver circlet to step out in front of it.
"Tinsel!" the girl huffed with annoyance, picking up the niffler by his foot and shaking him, until all of Princess Luna's coins fell to the ground. "Sorry about that, he gets a bit excited...Bad niffler, very very bad!" the girl scolded. The niffler made a chattering squeak that sounded almost like a laugh.
@LadyRunic: "Rhys!" Esmeralda called out, stepping up and heading over to him at the door. She stared at him for a moment. "Give 'em hellfire." She then shut the door and went to tending to her son. Rhys' way to Wizard Tower was clear, although there were the usual crowds going from Snake Slipway to Wizard Way. It was the lunch rush as well, so tons were stopping in at Wizard Sandwiches to eat - and little kids were dropping FizzFroot packets into their drinks with eager smiles.
@FantasyChic: Meadow nodded, giving Fleur a slight smile. She could appreciate her. "I should arrange for your to meet my brother - I think the two of you would get on swimmingly." Meadow did have her power hungry streak, but she sensed a potential match between the two. Creating an alliance in more ways than one boded well for strengthening the empire they desired to create.
"I am curious...How did you know you were Magykal?" Meadow asked. It was no longer business talk but instead simply a young girl in a strange land, wondering how something as foreign as Magyk could be.

Arya Rincewind
Location: Wizard Tower - 20th Floor
Arya read the shock in Cuyler's face and she realized her mistake. Perhaps she could have blamed it on the Sickenesse, the vicious illness clouding her thoughts and her resolve. Cuyler had had no intention of wishing to marry her. She lightly returned his kiss, the most she could muster herself to do as her face burned with embarrassment. Mixed in with her complicated flurry of emotions was that Cuyler wished to speak to Atkin - her apprentice - about the matter. Rowland was like a father to her, yes, but Atkin was her apprentice.
"...I misunderstood your words, Cuyler," Arya told him softly. She loved him deeply. But she did not wish for him to marry her...out of pity or some misguided display of loyalty to her. She didn't want him to throw his lot in with a sinking ship unless it had been his idea, his intentions. "Can we speak about this later? I'm running terribly late to meet the Queen," Arya told Cuyler.
She then glanced down the stairs and Rainbrook scampered up, looking sheepish. "Miss, your amulet...You ought to keep it on you," Rainbrook warned. "N-Not that I am saying you will be doing anything dangerous, of course...But..."
He then sighed, pinching his nose slightly. "I-I have been doing some readings...In the Pyramid Library...Th-thank you again for allowing me access...A-Anyways, I was doing some reading in the Sybilline Booke a-and from what I read, I think lapis lazuli might be an answer to our....y-your....our...little problem."
"Lapis Lazuli runs deep underneath Wizard Tower - it's why Magyk is so strong here - and it's a key construct of my amulet," Arya explained to Cuyler. The only other country in the world that she knew of with a large deposit of Lapis Lazuli was the Eastern SnowPlains, at the Heart of the Ancient Ways. Such knowledge was kept to those within Wizard Tower, of course. "But Rainbrook, if this illness is linked to Magyk - how can Lapis Lazuli aide it? Nothing Magykal has been shown to have any effect...Not even Physik."
Arya then coughed up a little bit of blood, but it didn't phase Rainbrook. "I think the answer, w-w-with all due respect, lies with Alchemie...H-Have you heard of the House of Foryx?"
"Of course," Arya almost snapped. "The House Where All Tymes Do Meet - home of the first ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Hotep-Ra. No one has seen it in centuries, not since the Seventh Son of the Seventh Son was the ExtraOrdinary of the Castle." She had plans to search the Darke Floor - the Eighteenth Floor of Wizard Tower - that he had set up. Potentially there was a powerful Reverse there that they might use.
"W-Well..." Rainbrook swallowed thickly. "I-I think that one of the stones of the House of Foryx, if crushed into a powder, could be used in Alchemie to make the Elixir of Lyfe..."
"That's just a legend - it isn't real," Arya chided. "The Elixir of Lyfe...It's something from the Olde World that they told children to comfort them at night...My mother would have known if a recipe for its creation existed."
Rainbrook then pulled a small key from his pocket. "It's hidden in the Manuscriptorium Way...I'm certain of it." There was something incredibly familiar about him, but Arya couldn't quite place her finger on it. "A-at any rate, please, put your amulet back on...The Lapis, I think, might slow the progress of the illness..."
Antonije Magnisky
Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room
Antonije's emotions still felt scrambled. He knew that he had felt incredibly angry moments ago, but it was all gone, as if someone had cut his sails and left him stranded at sea. However, he didn't feel bad - he certainly wasn't projecting his feelings to everyone anymore. He stared at Sylvi, memorizing her face for a moment as he repeated her words in his mind. She loved him?
"Волим те, Silvija," he replied. He brushed her hair out of her face and then pressed his forehead against hers. He gave her a mental kiss. He then glanced at his siblings, seeing Marya looking visibly relieved. The speedster was a bit curious too, since Bruce's father still hadn't come back inside.
Runa relaxed, smiling slightly as her son went to tend to his fiancée. She didn't want to hover and interfere, but she strongly believed in both female independence and that a husband should be there for his wife when she needed him. After Antonije's mental outburst, it was clear that was needed. She grimaced slightly, however, considering Bruce's words. She had had similar worries when she married his father - humans were so fragile and unlike most stories, gods could not simply create more gods.
"Bruce...Do you need me to cast an enchantment as a precaution?" Runa asked softly. She didn't mean to impose but she held her gaze with him for a moment, before she went outside and fetched her husband. "Lance, please come and examine Myth..." she called out softly.
When Lance entered the room, he wasn't alone. Bruce's sister, Halley - a fairly tanned girl with oval eyes and curly dark hair - came in as well and gave Myth a slight smile. "Hello, is it Myth the Muse? I'm Halley - I'm very pleased to meet you." She was very prim and proper, seemingly fitting well into the bossy and perfect older sister role.
The Playground - Location Classified: August 30th, 2020 - 8:45 P.M.
It was a little over four hours later that the now combined S.H.I.E.L.D. team, rechristened the Secret Warriors, had settled in at their new base: the Playground. Its location? Classified and epic - but located somewhere in the United States. Hawkeye continued to serve as the leader of the team, with Tinley Abercrombie continuing as well in her role as field commander. Agent Cassandra Reed was made lead for communications, with Agent Bonnie Chase taking lead for science and engineering related operations.
There was good news and bad news. Thanks to the help of Agent Renoir, Bonnie had been able to stabilize Agent Kennedy. His wounds were healed, but he was currently resting in medical and being kept for observation for twenty four hours. If they were to undertake any further missions, Kennedy would have to stay back at the Playground and keep guard there. He wasn't in any shape to go off fighting the forces of HYDRA on his own.
Then came the bad news. Despite each and every effort they had made, there was no contact with the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hawkeye had tried to reassure them that it was probably just protocol, the fact that everyone had gone dark, in an attempt to survive against the HYDRA slaughter. However, there was a certain darkness inherent to that. To the knowledge of our surviving SHIELD agents, they could very well be the very last of SHIELD... HYDRA may have wiped out the rest of the organization.
The group had gathered in dining, eating hot wings that Hawkeye had managed to score for them. Novikova was writing down equations and theories on a napkin. Ever since they got back, she wanted to do nothing more than figure out a way to rescue Agents Blake and Sparks from the quantum realm. Her degree was in nuclear physics, making her uniquely qualified among the team to begin trying to save them.
"Tempest, Harry, Cass...Were you three able to get anything off of the flash drive we recovered?" Bonnie asked, breaking the silence. Novikova didn't look up from her sketches and Hawkeye had a mouth full of wings.
From the flash drive recovered from the HYDRA agent, those three would have been able to find out that a lot of this had been planned. This date was specifically chosen, as it was estimated SHIELD's force would be spread thin and allow an easy takeover. HYDRA was indeed doing business with Von Bardas, getting weapons from her. She had built them that quantum tunnel on the roof in an attempt to seize an infinity stone. As for where HYDRA got their funding?
It was from a bank called Creed Financial. Early research into it done by the communications agents had indicated that Creed Financial was owned by the Von Strucker family, famous for the Fenris Twins. They were some of the leaders of HYDRA and the bank seemed to be HYDRA's headquarters. If they were to stand a chance of taking out HYDRA, they'd need to take down Creed Financial.
"We need to also do something that won't be pretty," Hawkeye said, pulling a wing out of his mouth. He glanced at Tinley - they had spoken about this. Before they went on this mission to Creed Financial, they needed to find their mole.
Raynor Blake
Location: the Quantum Realm: Quantum Void - Region Ψ Skills: N/A
Sparky is still pretty much under the influence of the Quantum Realm. However, amidst all of the confusion, she'll start to get the idea to try fiddling with some of the devices she still has on her. As an added benefit, none of the guards from the castle have found her yet - if only Raynor was that lucky.
Raynor managed to snap out of his confusion, looking around with wide eyes. If his parents knew what had become of him, they would have been frightened for him - or perhaps they would have taken pity on him. Yet there was a reason Fury had taken him in as an agent and he wasn't about to prove him wrong. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes and centering his mind for a moment. "I pray to..." his voice faltered. The hair stood up on the back of his neck. He wasn't alone.
Opening his eyes, Raynor found himself surrounded. Eleven of the guards from the mission had appeared, circling him. Unfortunately, they seemed to have adjusted faster than he had to the Quantum Realm. And they were armed. And those weapons were aimed directly at him. Raising his hands slowly, Raynor couldn't help but laugh sadly.
"Would it help if I mentioned my grandfather is Odin?"
Rebecca couldn't help but laugh, holding her hand out for a fist bump with the girl. This was her favorite use of magic - silly little accidents that had a huge potential for pranks. It made her want to go team up with the Hermes Cabin and declare a prank war on some of the cabins here. Perhaps Zeus - Ryland needed a good blow to his ego every now and then. If they weren't careful, it'd grow too large and then explode. "That was wicked," Rebecca said, her New England accent and dialect betraying her for a moment. "Make sure to take breaks - don't push yourself too much."
Speaking of breaks, Rebecca's stomach rumbled. She hadn't eaten yet that day, having spent her morning working with her cabin mates. They had more or less come to an agreement as to the Capture the Flag question, and she had helped one of the kids out with her studies. "I have a feeling you might be our next Cabin Leader," she whispered to the girl with a wink. Rebecca then got up, waved to her siblings, and left the cabin, tugging a bit on her camp necklace. She was thinking she'd grab some food and then make some potions for the infirmary - the Apollo Cabin always was going through them. Then, maybe she'd practice some particularly ancient spells she had found in one of the Cabin's grimmoire - there was always more magic to learn and she wanted to master as much as she could.
