Our World

In this RP, we consider the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies up to and including the first Avengers film to be cannon. There are roleplays that have happened in this timeline as well, forming our own Roleplay Universe (please click here to see the full in depth lore guide for our multiverse). We primarily cross over with the RP hosted by @BlueSky44, X-Men: Darkness Rising and Agents of SHIELD, another RP I host... although you do not need to be a member of either to enjoy this RP!!! Think of it like watching Ant-Man. Sure, there are nods and small cameos from the other Marvel movies, but you can enjoy it perfectly fine as a standalone film. In our universe, we have known that we were not alone in the world since 2012, due to the Incident. Aliens are real, powered individuals are possible, and almost anything seems to be possible.

O.M.E.N. was disbanded in June of 2020 by Presidential Candidate and leader Alexander Jakobsen. The organization was intended to protect US citizens from supernatural threats, but ultimately imprisoned, tortured, and killed innocents - especially mutants above all else. Yet while the institution has been disbanded and its resources were given over to S.H.I.E.L.D., its agents still hold grudges against mutants - the stain on humankind. The Purifiers largely draw membership from those angry individuals and while they are regarded as a hate group, local police often either turns a blind eye to their actions or is simply ill equipped to handle them.

Now, onto what you're all waiting for....Powers!

Mutants, also called homo superior, are powered individuals who gain their abilities due to an X-gene. This gene is something that is simply part of their genetic makeup from birth. It can be activated when the individual is subjected to great stress, often during puberty or traumatic moments. It's important to understand that while a mutant's powers can be called a mutation, they were born mutants. They did not mutate throughout the course of their lifetime.

Mutates are those who, as the name implied, mutated to gain powers. This is often due to the presence of electromagnetic radiation outside of the visible spectrum. Encounters with radioactive waste would certainly qualify. It is possible for those with an X-gene to mutate when exposed to radiation or other materials, but it is uncommon and also effectively 'neutralizes' the X-gene.

Inhumans, also called inhomo supremis, are individuals who are descended by unfortunate souls who were experimented on and had their genetic code modified. This unorthodoxy in genetics can be activated through a process called terringenesis, in which the inhuman emerges from something akin to a cocoon with newfound abilities and powers.

Deviances, as they are now understood, refer to (often) extraordinary abilities that distinguish someone from the average human. However, these are not differences on a biological or genetic level. While these can be small things, such as a sixth sense when it comes to healing and knowing what is wrong with the patient, it can be as dramatic as pyrokinesis. Deviances are a result of the shattering of the Cursed Flask in 1719, the shards which were recovered in 2018 by MI13. The flask's contents were said to grant immeasurable power, and with the contents mixing into the air in trace amounts, individuals can sometimes acquire slight abilities from exposure. There is currently no method of explaining why some people gain a deviance and others do not, however. This area of research is still relatively new.

  • Applications:
    • Post the CS in the OOC for review.
    • Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
    • Choose a faceclaim for your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images - not drawings.
    • The GM can refuse a concept for any reason, yet will generally work with you to fix up the character until they can be accepted.
    • Talk to the GM if you want your character to have established connections (i.e. if this were a Harry Potter RP and you wanted to be Fudge's goddaughter, talk to the GM in advance for approval).
    • GM approved character sheets should be posted in a hider in the Char tab.
    • The GM will check posting history / previous RPs - you've been warned.
    • Once CS's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
    • Under Extras in your CS please post a link to a post you have done in the past to show you have read the rules. If You submit a CS without this it may be declined.

  • Post Content
    • No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy from the 1950s, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
    • Nudity needs to be run by the GM before posting. In general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
    • Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
    • The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
  • Posting & General Behavior
    • Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
    • If you need an extension or you're struggling - or even if you just aren't certain what to do - please reach out to the GM! Communication is key.
    • All posts are backed up on the back up forum after they have been posted - the GM will provide the link for this forum. It only takes a few seconds and it ensures all your hard work is preserved!
    • You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 8 days ago you will be removed from the RP.
    • If you need an extension, ask!! Extensions should be requested no matter than when your last post reads as 6 days ago. If an emergency comes up on day 7, of course come and talk to us - we'll be more than happy to work something out. It's very rare that an extension request is denied.
    • You may NOT copy and paste something from someone else's post and add it to your own. This includes dialogue.
    • Minimal 2 posts between your last
    • No editing posts without GM approval.
    • Each post should include two well developed paragraphs (please don't make me define how many sentences are in a paragraph. If they're long sentences, then sure 5 is fine - if they're shorter, maybe 15 is best).
    • Read all posts! Seriously, people are reading yours so spread the love and read theirs!
    • No tagging for interactions in your post - people use this as a crutch usually to get away with not reading everything.
  • Other:
    • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
    • The GM reserves the right to make decisions as to how much additional time, if any, will be granted to post if the forum is glitching. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two. But usually, I do tend to be pretty generous about it...
    • Rules and character sheet will be added to and changed as need be depending on problems or points that come up.

Character and Relations Sheets

Please read through the instructions for this character sheet carefully. There are some sections that have special instructions and will depend on the type of character you are making. You are welcome to make both human and mutant characters. Characters should either be a member of the Mutant Underground or someone in Washington D.C. who will need the Underground's help shortly.


You will record your thoughts and opinions on other characters. To start the RP, you are required to have one relation to start with if you are already in the Mutant Underground. If you are not, you do not need any beginning relations. Human characters will require at least one relation with no exceptions. There'll be periodic moments throughout the RP where I ask that you update these.

Location: Camp Halfblood - Dining Pavilion
Rebecca glanced around, seeing that a clump had gathered over at one of the tables. She didn't especially feel like going and interacting with them, instead going to the Hecate table and she filled up her plate. She then walked up to the front and tossed in a sacrifice to her mother. She was quiet throughout the little ritual, before she went back down to the table and sat at one end by herself. Hopefully no one would come up and try to interact with her. She needed her space from time to time and this was one of those times.

As she picked at her food, a thought occurred to her - a delicious thought - and she smirked slightly. Perhaps her mother was smiling down on her as she came up with it. Looking around the dining hall, at those who were plotting out CTF plans and the like, Rebecca couldn't help but be excited as she thought more and more about how they'd react to it later. It was certainly nothing that they would have ever seen coming. And she knew just the sort of people to recruit to be a part of her plan.

Type Of RP: While this is a RP involving individuals with superpowers and codenames, it is not a superhero RP. It's an action packed political drama survival RP.
Goal of the RP: Help as many mutants as you can and help bring an end to the Purifiers' reign of terror.

Premise

I'm not going to be the face of a world that doesn't exist...Out there, mutants are still running, hiding, living in fear... Just because there's not a war doesn't mean there's peace.

The X-Men cannot be everywhere at once. They cannot stop every anti-mutant riot, every proposed piece of legislation in local elections that threaten to disenfranchise mutants, and every Purifier with a gun out there in the world. While O.M.E.N. may have fallen, a group bent on eradicating the mutant race, mutants are still hunted and persecuted. Inspired by Charles Xavier's vision, another group has arisen to meet the need of those individual mutants fleeing for their lives - and helping them to find sanctuary and freedom.

These are the stories of the Mutant Underground.

We begin not in Atlanta but in the nation's capitol. This station on the Mutant Underground is a way point for those fleeing the heightened prejudice in the south and hoping for better treatment in the north. Most of those at this way station will continue on, but some will remain behind to fortify the network. Children are sent in batches to the protection of a mutant school in Westchester County, New York - and families are never separated if it can be avoided.

Yet as they attempt to keep mutants traveling to safety, the Mutant Underground has to deal with the prejudice of local police and the rise of the hate group called the Purifiers. Some police officers do not believe that mutants deserve the same Constitutional protections as humans; and every Purifier would agree with them. Be careful and watch your backs, as while you have great powers and abilities, we all bleed the same.

  • World War II - the events of Captain America: the First Avenger transpire
  • 2010 - the events of Iron Man transpire
  • 2011 - the events of Iron Man II transpire
  • 2011 - the events of Thor transpire
  • 2012 - the events of the Avengers transpire
  • June 20, 2016 - the Altsoba Massacre levels the small town of Altsoba Washington. It is believed to be the work of religious extremists and hallucinogenic drugs. O.M.E.N. is founded and covers up the incident, as the government begins to work on managing the supernatural.
  • October 31, 2016 - the first leaders of O.M.E.N. are murdered by the demon Mephistopheles in a plan to raise the Norse goddess Hel, daughter of Loki.
  • January, 2017 - O.M.E.N. agents, with the assistance of Thalia Maehers, kill Hel.
  • January 8, 2019 - the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents combat the Brotherhood of Mutants at the Hanson Power Plant in Washington D.C., only for the plant to explode and forcing thousands in the city to lose power. Magneto steals the Gifted Index from S.H.I.E.L.D. in the process and raids the Triskelion, S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters
  • February 13, 2019 - the X-Men prevent the Brotherhood of Mutants from releasing a deadly virus in New York City that would kill the human population.
  • June 6, 2020 - Xavier's Institute for the Gifted is destroyed by Sentinels sent by O.M.E.N. to subdue the team.
  • June 6, 2020 - the X-Men destroy an O.M.E.N. facility illegally holding innocent mutants.
  • June 2020 - O.M.E.N. is disbanded by Alexander Jakobsen.
  • July 15, 2020 - a tragic accident destroys St. Cecila's Preparatory School as a young mutant's powers went haywire. There is renewed interest in the MRA and hate crimes rise. Purifier leadership pledges to eliminate the mutant threat that O.M.E.N. could not.

    • Things like jobs and skills must fit with characters back story

  • The world is controlled by the GM - All NPC's, weather, what you see, what you find, what happens, everything. So if it isn't in my post, it didn't happens
  • If you wish your character to have "connections" please run it by the GM first to ensure it is acceptable and isn't already being done by another.
  • Randomization and LLA are used in this RP - Please refer to Lady Amalthea's tutorial for a description if you are new to this concept
  • Posting Habits

    • Minimal of 2 well developed paragraphs per post
    • Must IC post once every 7 days (It is your job to keep up with when you need to post. Your last post hits Day 8 and I remove you from the RP.)
    • I do not accept no inspiration as a reason not to post
    • Keep up with all IC and OOC posts
    • No word in IC or OOC after 7 days is grounds for removal from the RP.
    • If you need additional time to post you must notify the Gm by day 5 of your counter. Extensions will not always be granted after that - you've been warned.
    • No spamming OOC
    • Under Extras in the CS mention your favorite mutant character from X-Men or the Gifted, so that way I know you read these rules...
    • Minimal 2 posts between your last
    • There is no additional time granted due to forum glitches unless the forum is fully down. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two

Type Of RP: While this is a RP involving individuals with superpowers and codenames, it is not a superhero RP. It's an action packed political drama survival RP.
Goal of the RP: Help as many mutants as you can and help bring an end to the Purifiers' reign of terror.

Premise

I'm not going to be the face of a world that doesn't exist...Out there, mutants are still running, hiding, living in fear... Just because there's not a war doesn't mean there's peace.

The X-Men cannot be everywhere at once. They cannot stop every anti-mutant riot, every proposed piece of legislation in local elections that threaten to disenfranchise mutants, and every Purifier with a gun out there in the world. While O.M.E.N. may have fallen, a group bent on eradicating the mutant race, mutants are still hunted and persecuted. Inspired by Charles Xavier's vision, another group has arisen to meet the need of those individual mutants fleeing for their lives - and helping them to find sanctuary and freedom.

These are the stories of the Mutant Underground.

We begin not in Atlanta but in the nation's capitol. This station on the Mutant Underground is a way point for those fleeing the heightened prejudice in the south and hoping for better treatment in the north. Most of those at this way station will continue on, but some will remain behind to fortify the network. Children are sent in batches to the protection of a mutant school in Westchester County, New York - and families are never separated if it can be avoided.

Yet as they attempt to keep mutants traveling to safety, the Mutant Underground has to deal with the prejudice of local police and the rise of the hate group called the Purifiers. Some police officers do not believe that mutants deserve the same Constitutional protections as humans; and every Purifier would agree with them. Be careful and watch your backs, as while you have great powers and abilities, we all bleed the same.

Our World

In this RP, we consider the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies up to and including the first Avengers film to be cannon. There are roleplays that have happened in this timeline as well, forming our own Roleplay Universe (please click here to see the full in depth lore guide for our multiverse). We primarily cross over with the RP hosted by @BlueSky44, X-Men: Darkness Rising and Agents of SHIELD, another RP I host... although you do not need to be a member of either to enjoy this RP!!! Think of it like watching Ant-Man. Sure, there are nods and small cameos from the other Marvel movies, but you can enjoy it perfectly fine as a standalone film. In our universe, we have known that we were not alone in the world since 2012, due to the Incident. Aliens are real, powered individuals are possible, and almost anything seems to be possible.

O.M.E.N. was disbanded in June of 2020 by Presidential Candidate and leader Alexander Jakobsen. The organization was intended to protect US citizens from supernatural threats, but ultimately imprisoned, tortured, and killed innocents - especially mutants above all else. Yet while the institution has been disbanded and its resources were given over to S.H.I.E.L.D., its agents still hold grudges against mutants - the stain on humankind. The Purifiers largely draw membership from those angry individuals and while they are regarded as a hate group, local police often either turns a blind eye to their actions or is simply ill equipped to handle them.

Now, onto what you're all waiting for....Powers!

Mutants, also called homo superior, are powered individuals who gain their abilities due to an X-gene. This gene is something that is simply part of their genetic makeup from birth. It can be activated when the individual is subjected to great stress, often during puberty or traumatic moments. It's important to understand that while a mutant's powers can be called a mutation, they were born mutants. They did not mutate throughout the course of their lifetime.

Mutates are those who, as the name implied, mutated to gain powers. This is often due to the presence of electromagnetic radiation outside of the visible spectrum. Encounters with radioactive waste would certainly qualify. It is possible for those with an X-gene to mutate when exposed to radiation or other materials, but it is uncommon and also effectively 'neutralizes' the X-gene.

Inhumans, also called inhomo supremis, are individuals who are descended by unfortunate souls who were experimented on and had their genetic code modified. This unorthodoxy in genetics can be activated through a process called terringenesis, in which the inhuman emerges from something akin to a cocoon with newfound abilities and powers.

Deviances, as they are now understood, refer to (often) extraordinary abilities that distinguish someone from the average human. However, these are not differences on a biological or genetic level. While these can be small things, such as a sixth sense when it comes to healing and knowing what is wrong with the patient, it can be as dramatic as pyrokinesis. Deviances are a result of the shattering of the Cursed Flask in 1719, the shards which were recovered in 2018 by MI13. The flask's contents were said to grant immeasurable power, and with the contents mixing into the air in trace amounts, individuals can sometimes acquire slight abilities from exposure. There is currently no method of explaining why some people gain a deviance and others do not, however. This area of research is still relatively new.

  • June 20, 2016 - the Altsoba Massacre levels the small town of Altsoba Washington. It is believed to be the work of religious extremists and hallucinogenic drugs. O.M.E.N. is founded and covers up the incident, as the government begins to work on managing the supernatural.
  • October 31, 2016 - the first leaders of O.M.E.N. are murdered by the demon Mephistopheles in a plan to raise the Norse goddess Hel, daughter of Loki.
  • January, 2017 - O.M.E.N. agents, with the assistance of Thalia Maehers, kill Hel.
  • January 8, 2019 - the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents combat the Brotherhood of Mutants at the Hanson Power Plant in Washington D.C., only for the plant to explode and forcing thousands in the city to lose power. Magneto steals the Gifted Index from S.H.I.E.L.D. in the process and raids the Triskelion, S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters
  • February 13, 2019 - the X-Men prevent the Brotherhood of Mutants from releasing a deadly virus in New York City that would kill the human population.
  • June 6, 2020 - Xavier's Institute for the Gifted is destroyed by Sentinels sent by O.M.E.N. to subdue the team.
  • June 6, 2020 - the X-Men destroy an O.M.E.N. facility illegally holding innocent mutants.
  • June 2020 - O.M.E.N. is disbanded by Alexander Jakobsen.
  • July 15, 2020 - a tragic accident destroys St. Cecila's Preparatory School as a young mutant's powers went haywire. There is renewed interest in the MRA and hate crimes rise. Purifier leadership pledges to eliminate the mutant threat that O.M.E.N. could not.

    • Minimal of 2 well developed paragraphs per post
    • Must IC post once every 7 days (It is your job to keep up with when you need to post. Your last post hits Day 8 and I remove you from the RP.)
    • I do not accept no inspiration as a reason not to post
    • Keep up with all IC and OOC posts
    • No word in IC or OOC after 7 days is grounds for removal from the RP.
    • If you need additional time to post you must notify the Gm by day 5 of your counter. Extensions will not always be granted after that - you've been warned.

The Playground - Location Classified: August 30th, 2020 - 9:00 P.M.

Hawkeye grimaced slightly. He always saw best from a distance, preferring to take a bird's eye view on the situation. He hadn't had access to the Phase Three files and neither had anyone on his team. It was almost pure luck that they had happened to be in the area when HYDRA infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. in order to rescue the young cadets. Looking at those at the table, it then presented the following possibilities for the mole: Agent James Kennedy (almost killed by HYDRA), Agent Niah Bautista, Agent Tempest Renoir, Agent Tinley Abercrombie, Agent Cassandra Reed, Agent Theresa Sparks (likely dead), Agent Raynor Blake (Hawkeye didn't know if the Quantum Realm was deadly to aliens or not), Agent Griffin Lee (dead), Agent Sami Rhodes (dead), Agent Maria Smith, and Agent Dominika Novikova.

"I'm just going to say it then - how can we know that Abercrombie isn't HYDRA?" Bonnie pointed out. "The entire Phase Three team hasn't been cleared...The rest of us have been." She nodded a bit at Flynn, knowing that he'd be uncomfortable since he used to play for the other team - but back then, that team was O.M.E.N. "And this isn't personal to you, Abercrombie, but...You have the power of mind control. If there was anyone HYDRA would want on their team, it's you."

"If Abercrombie was HYDRA, she would have controlled us already," Novikova said quietly. She didn't look up from her math, continuing to sketch on the napkin. "There's no point in her letting us talk and sort out who the mole is. If HYDRA wants us dead, she could have made us all kill each other - or not ordered the evac when the tunnel went critical. But she didn't. And they have nothing to gain from having her do some fake out double cross...They already have S.H.I.E.L.D. intel and a mind controlling agent is wasted as a sleeper."

Nikolai nodded and Hawkeye took another bite of wing. He had a pretty good idea now as to who the HYDRA mole was and he glanced at Tinley, knowing that she could read his mind and hear his thoughts. It wasn't a pretty conclusion - but he was certain it would ultimately prove to be the right one. "Abercrombie, do a quick screen - if my theory is correct, you won't need to do more than that. And then we can get onto planning the heist. They're generally more fun when you don't have a god controlling you."

Novikova nodded slightly at Maria. She was taking Sparky falling into the Quantum Realm pretty hard. Of course, there was also the terrifying prospect that HYDRA was after an infinity stone in there - and the best they could do was ransack a bank to cut off funding. It wasn't going to help Sparky and that's all she wanted to do right then.

"Oh, and Flynn," Hawkeye added, with a shit eating grin. "The Von Strucker family is famous for the X-gene."

Sparky snapped out of her confusion! Sparky used spark! It seems that Sparky's luck has finally taken a change for the better. Perhaps her mind finally adjusted to the Quantum Realm or her senses decided it was time to give up trying to process what was going around her. Either way, it did the trick and she will be fully aware of her surroundings and actions. It's a good thing two, since some of the guards floating in the void near her seem to have come to their senses as well and open fire. All of their shots miss, but one grazes her hairline slightly.

Of course, most of the guards have their attention on Raynor. His heart tightened in his chest, seeing Sparky nearby. He had to get to her - the Quantum Realm was strange and what was near one moment was impossibly far away the next. Swallowing thickly, he kept his hands raised in the air. "So not only are you the most irritating midgardians I have ever met, now you're also piss poor shots!" Raynor shouted, baiting them.

He then opened his palms, shooting beams of light at the guards. He managed to hit three of them in the chest, the concentrated light burning a hole that reemerged on the other side. Those ones dropped - or floated - to the ground, dead. The other three were just mildly injured and Raynor gritted his teeth, as they sent more bullets at him - but this time, they didn't miss. Two bullets lodged themselves in Raynor's chest and another in his lower thigh, causing the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent to scream in pain as he floated/stumbled forward in the void.

"Why couldn't it be Stormtroopers," he muttered.

Guin smiled slightly as Lance said he wished that he had skates like her. She skated alongside him, not activating the jets yet. "Maybe when we get back to our normal lives...if that ever happens...you can come over and I'll teach you how to make them," she suggested. The wind was blowing her hair back and they were lucky they didn't have to travel far, as Lance would've quickly run out of steam trying to run. The center of the disturbances looked like it was in some sort of old library building - and Guin could see their parents outside of it.

"So - should we shout out to them or just surprise them by saving their asses at the last second?" Guin asked Lance, skating to a halt. Some of the passerby were giving her weird looks but she was a New Yorker: she didn't care. Thor had a pretty woman with him that Guin recognized as his ex, Dr. Jane Foster. Guin had seen her dad watch the live stream of a few of her talks before.

  • June 6, 2020 - Xavier's Institute for the Gifted is destroyed by Sentinels sent by O.M.E.N. to subdue the team.
  • June 6, 2020 - the X-Men destroy an O.M.E.N. facility illegally holding innocent mutants.
  • June 2020 - O.M.E.N. is disbanded by Alexander Jakobsen.
  • July 15, 2020 - a tragic accident destroys St. Cecila's Preparatory School as a young mutant's powers went haywire. There is renewed interest in the MRA and hate crimes rise. Purifier leadership pledges to eliminate the mutant threat that O.M.E.N. could not.
Rules
*Rules are enforced and you will be removed if you break them.
  • Gm Is Goddess
    • Gm has final say on all matters
    • Gm does check on posting and log in habits
    • If you are holding up the RP and joining other Rp's you will be called on it
  • GM will supply the invite code for our Discord server, where announcements will be given - please check chat once a day
  • CS Sheet Provided Must Be Used
    • Use code provided below
    • Do not submit WIP's - Final CS's only
    • Post CS for approval in OOC
    • Only GM approved CS's allowed in CS Tab
    • Change color code to one not in use currently
    • If you have problems with changing out the color code or any of the coding, just pm it to me and I will take care of it for you.
    • May not use default CS color, any colors currently in use by active characters or that are close to another characters color
  • Real Life cause and effect will be in place
    • Realistic Character Sheets only (for this setting)
    • Things like jobs and skills must fit with characters back story
    • Don't go overboard - seriously, enjoy not knowing things and learning as you go.
  • Language - No Filters
  • Gore - No Filters - This might get gross
  • Taboo subjects will be crossed but will be maintained to fade to black if needed
  • Romance is allowed but this is NOT a Romance RP - Pg-13, then fade to black
  • Follow All Forum Rules
  • Communication is Key
  • The world is controlled by the GM - All NPC's, weather, what you see, what you find, what happens, everything. So if it isn't in my post, it didn't happens
  • If you wish your character to have "connections" please run it by the GM first to ensure it is acceptable and isn't already being done by another.
  • Randomization and LLA are used in this RP - Please refer to Lady Amalthea's tutorial for a description if you are new to this concept
  • Posting Habits
    • Minimal of 2 well developed paragraphs per post
    • Must IC post once every 7 days (It is your job to keep up with when you need to post. Your last post hits Day 8 and I remove you from the RP.)
    • I do not accept no inspiration as a reason not to post
    • Keep up with all IC and OOC posts
    • No word in IC or OOC after 7 days is grounds for removal from the RP.
    • If you need additional time to post you must notify the Gm by day 5 of your counter. Extensions will not always be granted after that - you've been warned.
    • No spamming OOC
    • Under Extras in the CS mention your favorite mutant character from X-Men or the Gifted, so that way I know you read these rules...
    • Minimal 2 posts between your last
    • There is no additional time granted due to forum glitches unless the forum is fully down. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two
    • Each time you post, you will need to copy and paste your post over to our back up forum. The GM will supply the back up forum link.
    • Your counter is still running until you have posted both on RPG and the Skyrose Back Up forum
    • Collabs may not be started after your day 5 counter
    • If you are collabing and your partner vanishes or does not reply, you must finish the collab and post it before the timer runs out
    • If your collab partner vanishes you are granted temporary minimal bunnying privileges to complete the collab
    • If your collab partner vanishes, you need to make the Gm aware so it does not count against you
    • Know your personal posting limitations before applying to join
    • If you cannot post, you must contact the GM and make me aware, you will be granted extra time to post (do not take advantage of this) - I realize real life comes first but you know your schedule better than anyone, if you join it is your responsibility to keep up and not hold up the rest of the Rpers. I will work with you, just let me know what's going on
  • Spots are not first come first serve
    • Gm will review completed CS first
    • You cannot use actors from the MCU as your faceclaim - exceptions may be made on a case by case basis (PM the GM)
    • Gm will review previous Rp's and posting habits
    • Gm will then notify you if you are approved
    • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
    • I am looking for long term highly dedicated Rpers.
  • Once Cs's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
  • Rules and Cs sheet will be added to and changed as need be depending on problems or points that come up.
  • Under Extras in your CS please post a link to a post you have done in the past to show you have read the rules. If You submit a CS without this it may be declined.
  • Special - To New Comers To The Guild - Pm The Gm for a tid bit to add under extras instead
Character and Relations Sheets

Please read through the instructions for this character sheet carefully. There are some sections that have special instructions and will depend on the type of character you are making. You are welcome to make both human and mutant characters. Characters should either be a member of the Mutant Underground or someone in Washington D.C. who will need the Underground's help shortly.


You will record your thoughts and opinions on other characters. To start the RP, you are required to have one relation to start with if you are already in the Mutant Underground. If you are not, you do not need any beginning relations. Human characters will require at least one relation with no exceptions. There'll be periodic moments throughout the RP where I ask that you update these.
