Walnut could tell that they weren't messing around. While Dr. Swamp seemed determined to keep up a certain willful pettiness, as if he had not attempted murder, Walnut was attempting to remember the situation at hand. She had just seen something positively horrifying, only to now find out the man she had attempted to defend did not dare return the same courtesy to her. She should have allowed him to die. And then, of course, there was the irritating matter of Titian. He had run off and was yet to return. It was too bad that he was stupid and unreliable, as he was rather pretty.

"Yes, he does require medical attention - he's dead," Walnut pointed out to Swamp. "You are, and I say this candidly, perhaps the worst doctor I have ever met," she told him bluntly. Perhaps she herself was being a bit petty, but she didn't care for the tone he was taking with her. She knew better than to mess with the servants, especially since they were now all under suspicion of some violence. However, she just couldn't help herself when it came to berating Swamp. She gave no indication of being unwilling to be searched. She had nothing to hide, after all.

Washington D.C.: September 7th, 2020 - 3:30 PM

@FantasyChic: "Sage is in the observation room," the passerby explained. Anastasia would have access to that area. It wouldn't be difficult to find, either. Once there, she would note it was essentially an observation deck looking over where the Hellfire Club trained. A woman with short black hair was standing at a console, her eyes rapidly moving across the screen without blinking. There was a tablet in her hand that she was typing furiously away at. "What do you need?" the woman asked, her tone a bit robotic and cold. This, of course, was Sage.

@Nallore: "What, you think the only thing I'm good at is being God's gift to mutant women everywhere?" Havok asked Spark Plug, chuckling a bit and shaking his head. Colossus had stepped outside of the room to call those at the Underground, figuring it would be impolite to call at Callie's hospital bedside.

The nurse ran back into the room, her face pale. "Okay, so we don't have any suitable donors but we do have her blood type so..." She then took what seemed to be a taser and poured the blood into a sterile container. Taking the taser, Caitlin tried her best to charge the blood. However, it wasn't working. The blood was just remaining as blood. Caitlin bit her lip, wishing that she had paid attention more in second semester physics in college.

"...Alright, we'll just have to hope your body doesn't reject this outright," Caitlin said, before giving Spark Plug a standard blood transfusion. Her eyes were darting around frantically, but luckily enough, Spark Plug's body took the transfusion just fine.

"Is she going to be okay?" Havok asked, worried.

"She's going to be fine."

Veil

Location: MCU Truck
Skills: N/A
"Sapphire, stop talking," Veil muttered. She knew that her friend was freaked out, but Sapphire had claimed to have expertise with these sort of situations and right now, it was as if Sapphire was trying to get them both killed. The collars were preventing them from using their powers and these cops would have no issue with killing the both of them if they had to. The only way to survive was to lose some pride and dignity, to be quiet.

As much as Veil wanted to scream and fight back, she knew that they couldn't. She had learned her lesson - it was why she had the scar on her arm.

The police officers weren't having too much of a positive response to Sapphire's comments, as to be expected. One of them picked her up and hoisted her to her feet, while another began repeatedly punching her in the mouth. "There, that ought to shut ya up," one of them muttered, while the other threw Sapphire back down. Her mouth was badly bruised and bleeding.

"Now, next wise ass comment results in a bullet between the eyes, got it?!"

The truck soon came to a stop. The back door opened and armed guards motioned for Veil and Sapphire to get out. They were at what looked like a police station. They were roughly led in through the back and Veil was trying to figure out where exactly in D.C. they were, but she couldn't tell. The two girls were then tossed into a holding cell, collars still on.

Sunshine

Location: the Morlock Tunnels
Skills: N/A

Most people would have been concerned when Jack yelped in pain - but Sunshine just smirked slightly. He was certainly entertaining and she couldn't help but wonder how far he could stretch. Would she be able to make a tight rope out of this man? And wasn't he basically a rip off version of that really smart guy with the Fantastic Four? However, she started to giggle as he turned into Captain America.

"I don't like you either," Sunshine told Jack with a smile.

Glow was smiling at Max, listening to him with genuine interest. "That sounds really cool - I'd love to play it some time, though I'm not the best at learning games... The rules kinda go over my head," she admitted.

Over at the generators, Erg nodded as he glanced at James and then the newcomer. "She is not part of our community - but she is a mutant," he added, noting the ice that was forming wherever Leighton stepped. He walked on over to her, picking up a gun as he went. Looking at the girl, Erg made snap judgments about her and her character, but his face didn't reveal it.

"You have stumbled upon the Morlock Community of Washington D.C.," Erg explained to her. "If you wish to leave, Blink can take you wherever you want to go. However, you are welcome to stay. We have food and shelter here. The only requirement to join our community is that you take the mark."

Neil Spellman

Location: First Floor - Formal Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

Neil had never experienced this level of pain before. There had been times back home when his cousin had messed up with a spell, hurting him and causing his aunties to have to fix it up before it left a scar. Nothing could have prepared him for being slammed back into the wall from an exploding tornado, followed by a lightning strike. Every cell in his body felt like it was on fire and Neil knew that he was screaming in pain, just because of the ache in the back of his throat from it. He still couldn't hear a damn thing, so he had no idea what the others were saying.

Neil thought for a second about telling the others in the room what he was about to do, but he couldn't hear them if they responded anyways so there was very little point in it. He started to move in the direction of the front entrance, but each step was incredibly painful and the world was swaying in front of him. He hardly made it a few feet before Neil had to hug the wall and he shut his eyes, wishing the godawful ringing in his ears would stop. It made him want to puke and put a stick in his head to get it to stop somehow.

The exit of the sitting room seemed to be impossibly far away and Neil took another few staggering steps forward. If they made it out of this alive, he was going to need a lot of physical therapy, that much was for sure.

Guin Stark

Location: First Floor - Front Entrance
Skills: Electronics and Computers, Investigation, Perception, Deduction, Mechanics

Guin blinked slightly, readjusting to the rapid change in surroundings. She was more used to it than before she had started dating Pietro. Out of everyone at the Mansion (with the exception of other speedsters), she probably had the best tolerance to traveling at Pietro level speeds. He had something against taking cars to go on dates, so it was always Pietro picking her up bridal style and running her off places. "Hey, hold the phone here Piet, I'm the one saving people this time! Newsflash, people are dying downstairs too. So you can either help me administer these inhibitors and get Lance a blood donor, or you can go be the damsel in distress downstairs," Guin pointed out to him.

Guin then stood up on her toes and gave Pietro a kiss. "It's safer there anyways and you already got mind controlled today." She smirked a bit at him. While she had been feeling paranoid and useless earlier, she had saved Richard and Lance's lives today. It was doing wonders for her confidence as a member of the X-Men. She then turned slightly on the ball of her foot, spotting a beautiful woman made entirely out of foreign technology. It wasn't anything like what they had on Earth - it reminded her a little bit of what Thor used but it was still different even to that.

"...You're the Danger Room," Guin was grinning madly at the robotic woman. "This is so freaking cool! Can you adopt me and be my real mom? Also... Wolverine is that way," Guin spun her hand in a circle before pointing outside, where the lopsided fight was going on.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Carlisle
Skills: N/A

Virginia nodded, drying her eyes slightly. She was firm in her conviction to get them to Gretna Green. "Yes, to Gretna Green if you would," she said softly. She would play the role of this weak and wounded female until their objective was achieved. Then she would hold her head high once more and not stoop to something that wounded her own sense of dignity. It would be worth it, however, since it would mean that she could aid her friends - living and dead. "I can pay that price."

Virginia kept money on her person at all times - enough that she was confident she could pay the fee. If they didn't manage to get this ride, who knew how long it would take for them to finish the journey. Perhaps they would be too late as well. "I would like Ny to come with us. And if the trip can be made faster, I can pay a higher price... Please, I need to make me way to Gretna Gr-Green," she let her voice crack on the end, biting her lip as she looked down. Her eyes then darted back up to the men, hoping that she looked pitiful enough that they would do as she asked.

Maeve Brennan

Location: House Kirkpatrick - Study (Main Floor)
Skills: N/A

Maeve raised an eyebrow slightly, attempting to tell if Millicent's words were genuine or not. The girl looked like she was shaken - she had been through a lot. Still, she knew that that didn't mean Millicent's words were true. Politeness was often empty without any real sincerity behind it. "Is there somethin' wrong?" Maeve asked. She heard the tone behind Millicent's words and saw the fierceness that she struck the page with. Maeve herself couldn't read or write, so even if she peered over Millicent's shoulder she wouldn't be able to tell what had been written.

"What was it?" Maeve then added, her tone dropping slightly. She hoped that Millicent would tell her and not just brush it aside. Whatever it was, it was enough to bring out anger in this rattled woman and given her current position here as a double agent, Maeve wanted to know what it was. Perhaps it was something to make Lady Kirkpatrick aware of, when it came to her nephew's dealings. Or perhaps it was nothing important at all. Either way, she wouldn't be able to tell unless Millicent told her what she had seen.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - the Kitchen House
Skills: N/A

Andromeda felt a bit prickly at Gio's complaint - he had asked her if she wanted anything and then was seemingly irritated that she didn't pick the same thing as others had? Why not just ask her if she wanted tea or alcohol then, if coffee was going to cause him to complain?

"And thank you, Gilbert," Andromeda said, as he referred to her talent. "Hopefully it doesn't get me killed this time," she then added. She wasn't sure how the Emendators would feel about her disclosing the fact that she had died before... but her gut was telling her to say it. It wasn't fair to keep secrets when they were being so forthcoming. Ben had helped her, too. He had taken away her allergies. How could they expect these people to be honest with them if they were withholding themselves?

However, Ben caught her interest when he explained that there had been others before him. "You said there were others before you - what do you mean by that?" Her mind went to the old cartoon she used to watch in her life - Avatar the Last Airbender. Maybe this was some sort of reincarnation cycle or something. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, realizing James asked that same question just seconds before her. Her stomach then grumbled a bit in response to James' question. "Oh, yes please, thank you."

Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 9:15 PM

Runa grimaced, her eyes darting over towards Lance. One of the combatants had been thrown off of Wizard Tower by Chthon. Another was seriously wounded. And then the woman, the ExtraOrdinary Wizard... Runa bit her lip. She knew that a spell that strong, one cast by the Elder God of Chaos himself, there would be no undoing it. There was no coming back from a Vanish. No one who had ever been Vanished had ever been seen again.

"The ExtraOrdinary is in Valhalla now. She made her ancestors proud," Runa said. The Sorcerer Supreme took a moment, making an ancient sign for warding off of evil. However, it did little good - Chthon was already present. The Elder God was snarling inside of Rhys' mind. It would feel like Rhys' insides were crawling with snakes and Rhys would be able to sense that he was losing control. Chthon was becoming stronger and stronger.

Foolish boy, you are NOTHING! You dare to challenge my decisions?! Chthon spat. Rhys' arm flung out involuntarily, allowing Chthon/Rhys to catch themselves on the stairs and not topple over. We are here for the Mistress of Chaos - for the woman called Halley! These are all distractions! The Elder God then started to prepare another spell, aiming to have it target Halley downstairs but it missed, hitting someone else instead...

Runa glanced back at Arnora, giving her a slight smile. "I'm borrowing it for the moment - but it was given to me originally by my grandfather, forged by the Phoenix for him," Runa explained. She tried using the cast to create a barrier, sealing them at the top of the stairs, but it was no use. There was too much Chaos Magyk in the air for her to do anything.

"No," Halley repeated, looking Cuyler dead in the eyes. "I know that you think you can help here, but you can't. One punch from the Hulk and you won't feel it - your spirit will fly out of you and go straight to Valhalla before you could even blink. Know your place - just because you are related to us does not mean that you have the strength or worth to be one of us," Halley snapped at him.

The Hulk was a bit dazed with each one of Nova's hits with the hammer, roaring and screaming as he tried to fling her off of him. So many people were coming at him at once, however. Sylvi began to play a tune that calmed him for a moment and then Myth had sent in the puppy brigade! There was one thing in the world that the Hulk loved no matter what: puppies. The green monster seemed confused at first, before he started to gently try to pet the little dogs and slowly began to shrink back down, until Myth's soon to be father in law was standing there.

Completely nude.

"Ugh, Grandpa, put some clothes on!" Astrid shrieked, covering her eyes.

"...Sorry..." Banner mumbled, frantically looking for something to cover himself with. This was really awkward.

However, Banner wasn't the only one experiencing changes. Upstairs, Chthon had attempted to cast a spell on Halley and he missed. It instead had hit Sylvi and Antonije's eyes widened, looking at where his girlfriend had been. There was now an adorable puppy. Silvija?! His siblings sped on over, cooing and giggling a bit.

"Wow, I always said your girlfriend was a bit of a bitch!" Marya giggled, petting the dog/Sylvi calmly.

"Not funny, damn it Marya!"

Meanwhile, Myrus nodded slightly. He was incredibly shaken and every breath hurt, but he was otherwise unharmed. "What.... what was that?" he asked, his red/pink eyes darting over towards Banner and instantly regretting it. "Lennox, can you get him some clothes? Please? It's... disgusting," he said, regretting the word but there was nothing else for it. He had come for a wedding, not to see a man turn into a monster and then end up in the nude.

@KazAlkemi@BlueSky44: Navi had suddenly decided that it was time to take a nap. She was a little kid after all and it was waaay past her bedtime. Falling asleep in Zekarra's arms, she was hugging her and making little sleepy snores. Rainbrook had gone outside with Zekarra as well, scared that he was feeling like ice. "Zekarra... Something is happening to me," he whispered to her.

He then peered out into the darkness and saw Ahote with Thia. "He's hurt - did he fall?!" Rainbrook exclaimed, forgetting his own plight as he ran over to the man. It didn't help that as they passed outside, the Floor had told them IT IS A LOVELY EVENING instead of its usual insults. That only happened when the situation was truly dire.

@LadyRunic: Emma nodded, escorting Skaoi out of the room and locking it up again tightly. "Will that be all, miss?" he asked her softly. He didn't want to get in trouble, but she was a bit of a strange one and he wasn't all too certain what exactly she was looking for. "Is there anything else I can do for ya?"

@FantasyChic: Jadis was about to retaliate, only she had forgotten that Wanda was also present. Wanda used her own powers to tie up Jadis with a scarlet sort of magical energy. "I take it you would like the honors of getting information from this harlot?" Wanda asked, nodding at Fleur. She had a good grip on Jadis and the woman wouldn't be going anywhere.

Leda Storm

Location: Iris Cabin

Leda grabbed a change of clothes as well, trying her best not to drip on her bed. She really hated it whenever her bed got wet after a lake drenching - the moisture seemed to cling to the sheets longer than was appropriate. It was as if it was actively out to spite her - and she hadn't even done anything to anger Poseidon! Her job at Camp was essentially an effort to make sure none of the gods were angered. And yet, it always seemed to be that way - once wet, her sheets weren't the same again for what felt like an eternity.

"I'll just be a sec," Leda said, going into the bathroom and changing once her sister was out. She then came outside and put her wet clothes on top of her own trunk. She'd put them somewhere to dry properly later - but she sure as hell wasn't putting them on the bed itself. Wringing out her hair slightly again, she was contemplating rebraiding it entirely, but the messy look certainly was in. "Ready?" Leda asked her sibling, before she started heading to the dining pavilion.

Jia Li

"And if we have to identify you, what is your brother's name?" Jia Li asked. She didn't recognize this man and she didn't know who his brother was. However, she memorized the names that were given - the young girl was to be called Ruka. And the man wished to be known as Tikaani. Jia Li was determined to not waste her time learning their real names. Those ones would only bring trouble and ruin while on the run from the Fire Nation. It was nice to have another one of her countrymen there with her - a reminder that those who started the war, who committed genocide, they did not represent the entirety of the Fire Nation.

"We can find you a crutch on our way," Jia Li then said to the firebender. She figured that as they traveled, they'd be able to find something to use as one. Takuma had given them quite a fair amount of money too, meaning they could always purchase one. It would be better to do that than steal - thievery would only draw more attention to them. They needed to blend in - to become just one of the refugees wandering the Earth Kingdom after Fire Nation troops began to displace them from their home. Her eyes were sharp and she was cautious as she left the home with the others, thanking Takuma before she left.

Washington D.C.: September 7th, 2020 - 3:15 PM

@FantasyChic: "If you need anything, I can see to it that it is provided," Reeva explained. She then pulled a burner phone out of her purse and she handed it to Anastasia. "I'll have one of my men - Fade - nearby. This phone has his number programmed into it, as well as mine and the girls. If you need anything additional technology wise, I suggest you speak to Sage before you leave." Sage was the computer genius of the Hellfire Club. Why? It was simple enough. Her mutation was that Sage's mind essentially was a computer. Telepaths couldn't even read it, just hearing a string of 0's and 1's in binary code.

@Nallore: Colossus nodded slightly. "You are very brave, Spark Plug," he said, but it was clear that he wasn't making any sort of motion to leave. Neither was Havok. In fact, the Hula Hooping mutant was more or less smirking at Callie as she was on the bed and Caitlin was doing her best to help her. "Nice try, but you can't get rid of me that easily, kiddo," he said with a bit of a chuckle.

However, the nurse was running into some problems. While Spark Plug had managed to stop the bleeding, she had started to notice something abnormal about her blood. It was as if Spark Plug's blood cells were charged with electricity - meaning that Caitlin had no idea if her body would even accept the transfusion properly. "Do either of you have an X-gene relating to energy manipulation of some sorts?" Caitlin asked.

"I do," Havok said. "But I'm B+," he then admitted, grimacing. Colossus shook his head at Caitlin. He didn't have that sort of power.

"Alright, I'm going to go and see if any of the other patients here have blood similar to hers. If not, I have an idea... Keep her awake and talking, okay?" Caitlin instructed, before she quickly left the room.

Veil

Location: MCU Truck
Skills: N/A
The police officers in the truck laughed, shaking their heads at Sapphire. "Yeah and so is the goddamn president," one of them jeered. To them, the leader of the X-Men was an old rich bald man who seemed to most likely be British. Not only did they hate Xavier for being a mutant, but he was a foreigner in their minds - an outsider who was infringing on American interests.

"You know, if a woman could be the leader of the X-Men, wouldn't they have changed the name?" his buddy chimed in.

"They aren't worth reasoning with, Sapphire," Veil muttered. One of the officers then walked up, holding his nightstick, and he hit the two of them over the head. His buddies roared with laughter, enjoying a little bit of fun as they beat up defenseless women on the way. No one would bat a second eye if a pair of muties went to jail looking a little worse than they had when taken into custody, anyways.

"You'd look real pretty in your mugshots if you smiled, girls," a third officer spoke up. "Blow me a kiss, will ya? I heard muties are real freaks in the sack if you know what I mean."

"Don't give them the satisfaction of making you angry..." This time, Veil was more or less talking to herself. She knew that if her emotions got out of control, she'd start to flicker in and out of sight. The collar would trigger and she would be shocked within an inch of her life. The officers would claim they were afraid for their lives and they would be shot. The only way they could get out of this would be to hold their head down.

And it was killing Veil to have to do that.

Sunshine

Location: the Morlock Tunnels
Skills: N/A

Erg's expression tightened as Stretch came over. It was more than obvious that he wasn't fond of the man. In fact, as Stretch started talking to Sunshine, Erg's hands clenched into fists, as if he were a witness to the corruption of America's youth. "We can do a supply run tomorrow," Erg told James, though he continued to stare in Stretch's direction. If looks could kill, Stretch would have been a cautionary tale for those who dared face the wrath of Erg. "There's a warehouse that Blink can portal you into - its security is dismal at best, especially on a slow Tuesday," he explained.

Back over with the others, Glow tilted her head slightly at Gray. "Dancing Lights?" she repeated, clearly confused. "What's Dungeon and Dragons? Is that some sort of dance routine or something?" she then asked. Although she didn't know a lot about nerd culture, Glow did seem very sweet and genuinely interested in what Gray had to say.

"Probably because no one realized you were here today," Blink shot back at Stretch, smirking a bit. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Try not to freak them out, okay?" Blink then waved at the others and headed off, going over into a corner where some little kids seemed to be playing. When they saw her, they got all happy and excited and they began to play in a group.

Sunshine wasn't too interested in what was going on around her, more of focused with the food in front of her. She was hitting the bottom of her bowl and she stuck her fingers in it, wiping them around to clean off the sides and then sticking them in her mouth. By the time she was done, Sunshine wiped her fingers clean on her arm and then glanced at Stretch, looking like she was sizing him up.

"Does this hurt?" Sunshine then asked him, standing up on her seat and grabbing his nose. She then started to pull as hard as she could, stretching and then adjusting her grip and stretching more and more, waiting for a snap but it never came.

@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic@BrutalBx
The Playground - Location Classified: October 24th, 2020 - 2:00 P.M.

@BrutalBx@FantasyChic: ~Still clear here folks~

@Nallore: Harry would realize that most of the files would probably be up in Barton's office on the higher level of the Playground. While Barton wasn't really an office type, he did have one anyways from the job and he enjoyed the birds eye view it gave him. The television in the kitchen was on the news as well - announcing that Tony Stark and Pepper Potts had married in a quiet ceremony over the weekend. There's rumors that they are expecting a child together as well.

@FantasyChic: "Okay, fine, we aren't technically related but who else did I spend my summers with? Not my actual brothers - can you blame me though? Dave's mental and Jackie... Jackie was too good for us and you know it," Casper said, seemingly content on carrying on a full conversation with nothing. He did, however, turn his back to the camera and he started to just urinate in plain sight. "I hope you don't mind, your majesty, just doing a bit of watering here of your lovely garden!"

Dominika Novikova

Location: The Playground - Shooting Range -> Technology
Skills: N/A
"Or I just turn my phone off and leave it in my room," Novikova pointed out. However, she did appreciate Maria's efforts to be thorough. And come to think on it, leaving it in her own room wasn't the best idea. Instead, Novikova took out her phone and she turned it off, powering it down completely. Glancing around, she then took the little metal batons she practiced with in the shooting range and she went over to the cubbies of sorts. Putting the batons away, she dropped her phone in there with them.

Following Maria to technology, Novikova found it suspiciously easy getting Cass to go someplace else. She wondered if there was something weird going on and that was why Cass was looking for Tempest, however. "Maybe now isn't a great time to move, if things are getting scrutinized heavily," Novikova pointed out quietly. If they were worried about their slightly odd behavior getting through before, now Novikova was paranoid that it would be even harder.

"It's your call - you're ops, after all." She was then incredibly glad she had been quiet as Niah walking into technology. She didn't want to drag Niah into this.

Bonnie Chase

Location: The Playground - Bio-Engineering and Research
Skills: N/A
"See you later, Harry," Bonnie replied, waving at her friend as he left. She decided to ignore his comments about needing to bleach his eyes due to seeing Flynn shirtless. Bonnie had seen a fair number of shirtless guys in her time and there was definitely a scale of eye bleach to mentally photograph. Flynn was on the better side of the scale in her opinion. He wasn't too hairy and he had abs for days...

Her cheeks were still flushed, even as Flynn put the lab coat on. "I'm fine - been doing some work on the terrigen crystals," she explained. She tucked a bit of hair behind her ear, only for it to instantly pop out and fall in front of her face again. "So, um, did you need anything? Beyond a shirt, of course."

She knew she was rusty as hell when it came to flirting, but Bonnie felt a bit pathetic with this display. Maybe she should go and talk to Tinley about why Flynn hadn't asked her out yet. Sure, she was a bit conflicted and hesitant to date... but it had been seven years. She couldn't spend her entire life grieving over James. It was time to move on and she was ready to do so.

So why couldn't Flynn just ask her out already? What was stopping him?

Raynor Blake

Location: the Quantum Realm
Skills: Knowledge of the Quantum Realm, Light Manipulation
"I'm fine," Raynor insisted. The sad thing was, he knew what was wrong with him. His father was the God of Light - he himself could manipulate and bend it. There was something off about this realm he found himself in, causing his cells to yearn for light to absorb. Sure, there was some but it wasn't right - it was as if he was incompatible with it. "But you know what'll make me feel better? If you eat," he pointed out.

"Just close your eyes when you eat," the Wasp recommended to Sparky. "Then you won't have to remember what you are eating could be classified as a spider." Janet got to work, cutting off pieces of "meat" from the carcass. She then waved Raynor over and he used his powers to roast the pieces. The air was then filled with the sweet, sweet aroma of roasted quantum monster.

The Wasp handed a leg to each of them, before taking a bite herself. "It makes me almost remember what chicken tastes like..."

Raynor then took a bite of his portion. "Janet - this is the best meal yet," he said with a bit of a crooked smile.
