The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: August 9th, 12,511 - 4:10 PM

Despite the generally poor condition of the beheaded vampire, Erasmus apparently managed to gather the energy to speak. And since they had just been flung into the future, it was no surprise what he decided to raise his voice and say: "Where the bleedin' FUCk am I?!" the head rasped, being as loud as it could possibly be. As for Myth, her words would have a sense of truth to them. Not far from the body of her baby boy was her own corpse, the steel of a sword still through her stomach, lodged in the fatal wound.

Prince Myrus looked like he was about to cry, as Bruce and Myth more or less confirmed this likely was Ragnarok. "Well... I-if it is, don't we just have to protect Baldur, right? Since that's how it starts in the stories... He gets killed by a blind god," Myrus rattled off. For a member of the Castle, he had learned an impressive amount of the myths of the Land of Long Nights. He found them much more comforting than the vague spirituality often practiced in the Small Wet Country. Unfortunately, he didn't know much more than that when it came to the beginning of Ragnarok in the myths. The Frost Giant was still in sight, but within the next ten minutes it wouldn't be - so they would likely need to make up their minds if they were going to pursue it, stick around, or attempt to find a way back to the past.

"C-couldn't we just protect Baldur? There's... there's got to be a spell or something, right?" he asked hopefully. "Like what if we made it so no one could hurt him somehow? I bet my sister could do it. Valda's really powerful - she's good at witchy stuff..."
The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: November 5th, 12,508 - 10:10 PM

The Palace Barracks - the Castle...

Amarantha would resist the urge to feed off of Dawn and her mother with ease (nat 20!). She may as well be prophetic as when Amarantha left that particular area, she would hear a hiss, a scream, and then smell smoke. If she were to walk back on over there, she would discover that Dawn's mother and the vampire Gypsy were dead, with baby Dawn giggling happily to herself in the ashes left behind.

Of course, those aren't the only people Amarantha is going to run into. Regardless of what she does, she'll feel the steel of a blade against her neck as Apollodora Rincewind stepped out from the shadows with a grin, just as stealthy as any Young Army trained assassin. "Huh. You weren't supposed to be a Biter. Blame Caspian for that," she said, clearly amused with the situation. "Now come on, we need to fix things."

The Palace Boat Launch - the Castle...

Titan had fallen silent it seemed, though who could blame him? Not only had his sword been turned into butterflies, but he had fallen into a pool of water. It was enough to put a damper on anyone's mood, though the situation he and the Royals had returned to was far from ideal. Members of the Palace Guard had taken the bodies and lined them up by the gardens, attempting to identify the deceased. Those who had fangs in their mouths were taken over to one of the bonfires and burned, in order to hopefully prevent the spread of the disease.

Some of the servants of the Palace were helping with the clean up as well and they stopped, seeing the sisters safe and sound. While some of them let out a sigh of relief, others looked annoyed to see that Valda and Luna had survived. The riots that followed Queen Valda's Coronation had not entirely released all of the ill will some citizens of the Castle held towards her - there were still those who hated her and wished to see her removed from the throne. "Your Highness, your brother - he went on inside," one of the servants informed Valda after curtsying, figuring that she wanted to know where Myrus had gone off to.

Luna would notice the body of Mavis Moll among the dead - her brother's best friend and ex-girlfriend. Mavis used to come over to the Palace all of the time to hang out with the siblings, long before Valda returned from the Forest.

The Old Port Witch Coven House - the Port...

Fleur would get the sense that she was being followed, as she headed back towards her old home. It wasn't by the demigods, as they were still standing near the docks talking amongst themselves and attempting to come up with a decent strategy. If she wanted to, she could easily go back and put some sort of listening spell on the demigods to learn what they were up to, but the unnerving feeling that someone was watching her every step was going to be increasing more and more. Beyond this, she wouldn't have any trouble making it back to her old home. Nera's face showed through the upstairs window as she looked down onto the street, smiling slightly as she saw Fleur.

Antonije Magnisky

Location: Ramblings Room 847
Skills: Telepathy
Antonije nodded as Sylvi asked for confirmation that Violet was the late Arya Rincewind. A good portion of the Castle had gone to her memorial service at Wizard Tower, with a select few being invited to the private funeral. He recalled there being a lot of gossip surrounding the fact that her boyfriend, a Northern Trader, had failed to make an appearance - with some proclaiming that the Land of Long Nights had sent him as an assassin to kill the ExtraOrdinary Wizard and weaken the Castle. In light of the looming war they were facing with both the Eastern SnowPlains and the Land of Long Nights, it wasn't the oddest theory out there. I know I should have, Silvija... But I promised her that I wouldn't tell anyone about her. Not even you.

He sighed slightly, still holding her in his arms. Yes, he felt bad that he lied to her - but it was more of because he was caught, not because he regretted his actions. He still felt that keeping Sylvi in the dark about the entire Arya situation had been the right thing to do. He hadn't told Amarantha about her either. Some of it was from selfishness - if he told Violet about who she used to be, then there would be one less person in the world who would understand him. The determined vigilante would cease to exist and just be replaced with another annoying, rule following stuffy old wizard. Violet was the only person in the world who really understood him - besides Sylvi. Of course, he didn't want Sylvi to see the monster he really was.

She wouldn't love him if she did.

Halley Banner

Location: the Docks - the Port
Skills: N/A
Halley frowned, thinking all of that over. If Loki had left this location so quickly, then odds were that he knew they were here looking for him. That would complicate matters. She huffed in frustration, tapping her foot lightly against the ground as she tried to come up with the best plan of action. It was irritating that her brother and Myth still hadn't returned to the search party - what could possibly be taking him so long? What was so important that he would put the fate of the Nine Realms at risk? He knew as well as anyone the extreme danger posed by the Tesseract - by the Space Stone. She didn't doubt that it dwarfed whatever insignificant quarrel he was pursuing.

Cuyler and Arnora's words mostly were just echoes of each other. "Let's approach this logically, shall we? We know that Loki was inside this fortress. Once we have arrived, he's gone and we cannot find a way to get inside. We know that the key to getting inside his fortress is one of those three individuals from the dragon boat creature or somewhere at the Palace." She hesitated, wishing that saying all of those things aloud would have given her some sort of indication as what they should do. She clenched and unclenched her hand, briefly considering whether to go and ask Fleur for aid in dealing with Loki since Bruce had yet to turn up.

"... I don't know," she admitted quietly. "... Let's try following him more, if he just ends up back here once we reach Wizard Tower then we can adapt the plan."

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Babylon Fortress, Cairo, Egypt
Skills: Alertness

She had seen a lot of strange things in life and in death. Nothing had ever prepared her though for this exact scenario - with James offering to turn into his hog form and carry her on his back. Her pulse was up but given that she was claustrophobic and they were in a tunnel system, that was probably the best case scenario. She was doing her best to monitor her breathing and she had a quizzical look on her face. It wouldn't be immediately clear whether she was amused or insulted by the idea, but... She loved new experiences. His question did cause her to blush slightly as well. "Why the hell not?" she finally said. Things were now lit down here, so that was helping to ease her anxiety as well and she didn't know when she'd ever get a chance like this again.

And at least if it got weird and uncomfortable, she was pretty sure she'd be able to instantly hop off and return to ground. The comments that the others would make about it might wound her pride slightly, but she did have lightning on her side. Peter had a torch going as well, so the situation just seemed to really be improving. She was waiting for the inevitable jump scare, for a Destruere or something to be lurking around one of these corners, or even maybe something as ordinary as just criminals from this time period using these things to smuggle or something.

Gene Benaszewski & Nora Kingston

Location: Athribis - Underground
Skills: Pattern Analysis, Cryptography, Mathematics, Decipher hieroglyphics, Acute Observation
"I already told you that pretty much - this is beyond your simple understanding," Gene scoffed at Mahendra. It was one thing for people to be stubborn - it was another thing entirely for them to be obstinate in their denials of what she said and then say that there was no rational explanation, as if no one had clued them into that possibility before. The glowing hands, the haze, and the smell all should have been enough to clue these people into the fact that they were in the realm of the paranormal. They were lucky they weren't in a direct encounter with the Destruere at the moment or they all would have been killed before they could finish one of their ridiculous long winded sentences. The only one she really liked here was the blonde woman. "As I said, Belladonna is a witch. She can take care of herself," she answered Richard.

The Lord Major leaned in and spoke quietly to her. It was the last straw. Her eye twitched slightly. She briefly considered using her more extreme ability on him, just to make a point, but she had better self control than that. There was a pull for her to continue forward and she could hear familiar voices - one of them threw her mind for a loop. The others she wasn't really surprised to hear. Her patience with these people had already started to rapidly wear out and in the height of maturity, Gene collected a large pool of saliva in her mouth. "I am not some common addict."

Nora meanwhile had been staying out of this petty drama largely. Her goal was to find Belladonna and she continued in her navigation. The walls appeared to have some places of stone carved out, in order to contain liquid. She paused for a moment, instinctively squinting her eyes as things began to flicker and change. A moment later, there was a flame at the end of the passageway. It was coming closer and closer, and she then realized that the liquid was actually oil - how long had the oil been there for? And who could have set the flame alight? She hoped that it was Belladonna, as she really did not want to run into any other strangers down here in these unknown tunnels.

"Belladonna?" Nora called out, wondering if it was the missing member of their group that had set fire to the oil. Perhaps she had had some matches or a lighter with her and had realized the liquid was oil, using the light to guide her back to the surface? "Are you there?" she then asked, her voice louder than it usually was. Nora was a quiet and reserved person by nature, but whispering Belladonna's name wasn't going to help in this scenario. She should be somewhere near - she was certain of it. And with what Gene had said... perhaps there was reason to believe that she was alive. The flame was the strongest indication in her mind.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Outside
Skills: Cool Headedness, Knowledge of Chemistry

Hearing Alicia talk about a portal, Cecily had to wonder if she meant that literally... But given that Alicia had invaded her mind a few minutes ago, she supposed other classic superpowers could be possible too. She blinked slightly as people started talking about Schrodinger's Cat and she was so tempted to lay out everything she knew about that thought experiment and the common misconceptions the general public had about it, but now wasn't the time for that. With all of the supplies she needed, Cecily constructed the bomb quickly and efficiently, making one with the same ease that Tony Stark made the Jericho Missiles. "Alicia, light this and chuck it at the building. You'll only have a few seconds after lighting it before it'll blow, so you can't hesitate," she informed the supposedly dead woman. She could question how Alicia came back to life or faked her death later.

Handing over the bomb carefully to Alicia, she made sure that the other woman had a firm grip on it before letting go. The scene going on in front of them looked like it was straight from Stranger Things - the tendrils wrapping around, the building shaking, the haze that still hadn't gone away... Cecily's heart was pounding and she was somehow able to keep calm and collected despite everything going on, but that didn't mean she wasn't full of adrenaline at the moment. Whatever that thing was... she had an inclination that they wouldn't be able to save whoever was still inside that building. They needed to blow up whatever this thing was now, before it got free.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood 6E
Skills: Rainbow Manipulation, Sword Fighting, and Agility

Leda shook her head slightly, finally catching her breath. "No way is this going to be easy," she replied honestly. Too many stories in Greek Mythology started this way - with an apparently easy task becoming an impossible deathtrap. And given that they were going up against a team lead by the Ares Cabin, she wouldn't have been surprised if they decided to play fast and loose with the entire no killing rule. She then glanced over, seeing Theresa and Mona, one of the girls they had rescued from the school earlier that day. She gave a slight wave to the Aphrodite girls, only for Annabelle, Daughter of Hecate, to come out and shove Theresa and Tammy. Leda's insides churned slightly - at least her ex, Rebecca, wasn't with her half-sister right now. That would have seriously sucked.

Her sword, Ultraviolet, was giving off a slight red shade - not indicating anger, more excitement. She took a swing at Annabelle, missing horribly and the daughter of Hecate then shoved Leda back, sending her flying. Gritting her teeth in frustration, Leda sent off two rainbow blasts as retaliation, unfortunately only managing to graze Annabelle with the second attempt. "She's got magic on her side, if that wasn't obvious," she added to Kiera and Mona as an aside, figuring that they wouldn't have realized that Annabelle was manipulating the Mist to her advantage. There were so many things that new demigods just didn't know when they first arrived at camp.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice gave Thalia a slight smile, though she knew that they likely wouldn't have another chance for those sort of activities here. Her eyes flickered towards the area in the back where they had done exercises and sparring - maybe they could have done it there, for all to see, but Beatrice wasn't into that sort of openness. While sex came without romantic strings and attachment for her, it didn't mean she wanted everyone to have a front row seat to that show. "Just fighting? Disappointing," Beatrice replied, shaking her head slightly. Erica was similarly boring, though Beatrice had to wonder where the woman had been a cop. If she had been a cop in Justice, then that would have been an interesting line of conversation. At the very least, Mugsy had something interesting to add and Beatrice laughed slightly. "How long are we talking?" she asked, amused by that image of Alex with locks like Rapunzel.

The conversations were cut short though as things got started. There was already one point of concern in her mind that came up instantly - there was no mention of them having time to go visit the graves if they were going to leave. All Thana said was that they would be escorted out. Beatrice knew that she wasn't going to stay here - she wanted to live and die by her own terms. The more Thana talked about the highly regimented aspect to life here, the prospect of additional reviews, assignment of debt for supplies... She knew that this was how a community like this survived, but all she could see was a place of more red tape - of more experiences like quarantine. This place wasn't right for her. Hopefully those she came to care for would be able to find it in themselves to make this place work, yet she couldn't make that choice for them.

Thana's recommendation that people leave if they couldn't make peace with this, Beatrice couldn't help but feel like it was directed at her. She took her papers, lifting up the first sheet to look at the psychiatric requirements - none. Her eyes flickered over towards Thalia as she returned her papers to Thana unsigned. "Thank you for all of this," she told Thana. She didn't know if they would have accepted her or rejected her, but she felt the very least she could do was say thank you for what they had already done for her.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Hearing any variation on the phrase we need to talk was never really a good thing in Jack's experience. His stomach started to twist into knots, and he put an arm around his wife, nodding. "Okay," he said quietly, falling silent once Thana went to the front of the room and began to talk. Her words illuminated a lot more about how this society worked. Everything seemed to be regimented and well thought out, with more conditions for remaining though they honestly should have been things that Newnan included in their own structure all along. Even if he wasn't thrilled about every part of it, the system seemed to be fundamentally fair to him. Everyone earned things - nothing was guaranteed or taken for granted, whereas in Newnan pretty much everyone for instance had gotten something akin to a house of their own.

But there was no way he was going to turn down this offer, if they allowed him in. This place was the best chance Jamie had. All of the resources and the strength that they had here... It could let his son have something akin to a normal life. Maybe other people would have little ones here too and Jamie would have friends his own age. Even if that wasn't the case, at least he was safer inside these walls than beyond them. His goal was that the most anxiety inducing thing Jamie would have to worry about on a daily basis would be school reports and tests, not whether he was going to eat that night or if a walker would bite him as he slept. Once he received his own papers and saw that therapy was recommended for him, Jack made up his mind that if allowed into this settlement, he would do the therapy. After everything they had been through, it could only help.

He looked at Tatiana and Jamie for a moment, before signing on the line and bringing his papers up to the front. "Do uh, do we need to sign anythin' for Jamie too?" he asked. He didn't know if they had separate papers for Jamie or anything like that.

New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 9:20 P.M.

Before her death, Bonnie had tried to keep tabs on Niah's emotions and comfort the younger Sci-Tech grad whenever possible. She didn't have powers like the rest of them - Bonnie hadn't been able to create force fields or burst into flames, yet her absence was still felt. The Invisible Woman though stepped up to fill that particular void. Susan walked over to Niah and gave her a slight hug. "Hey, don't worry about it, this plan we'll work, and it'll be alright, don't worry about it too much, okay?" Doom was watching her, a slight smile concealed behind his metallic mask.

"You mean his head - you cannot rip off his dead," Doom obnoxiously corrected Maria. The innocent smile of watching Susan had changed into one of smug satisfaction - of course, it wasn't like anyone could actually see his face in order to notice that. They could probably sense the superiority he radiated though, as Doom was well known for being egotistical.

"I'll work on the machine," Shuri informed Tinley. "Technology is my specialty... And I owe it to the world to try." Despite being one of the youngest people in the room, Shuri's maturity and poise always seemed to shine through her words. It was understandable though - she was raised as royalty. Her life was never entirely her own, as she had to consider the wellbeing of an entire country depending on her. Now the world depended on her.

"I will remain here as well - to protect the machine and the Sanctum," Strange added. He then tossed the sling ring to Tinley, trusting that they would be able to successfully operate it in order to get to Ultron's place of operations.

"Guess I'll stay with the nerds," Raynor muttered. They already had so many people wanting to go on assault, so he figured he would stay behind and maybe be able to shed some light on the situation. At the very least, he wanted to go back in time and do whatever needed to be done in order to bring Sparky back.

"I can help to work on the machine and go with the time traveling group as well with Victor."

Captain Marvel nodded. "Great. Let's go then, boss," she told Tinley. Vision gave Tinley the coordinates for Ultron's headquarters - ironically, the Stark Tower in New York City - and he waited for her to open up a portal so they could all go through.

Meanwhile, Strange decided to answer Flynn's question as it had not been openly discussed yet. "In order to prevent the creation of Ultron, and given the time and location Dr. Bautista determined, we need to prevent Hank Pym from one day creating the device," he surmised. The problem with that of course was that they needed Ultron to rescue loved ones from the Quantum Realm. Strange conveniently did not remind them of that. The lives of the few did not merit dooming all of humanity.

Washington D.C.: September 9th, 2020 - 8:10 PM

Emma had been out of her diamond form when Requiem sent out his vocal command and she felt compelled to put out the fire, as had Glimpse and Sapphire. Fortunately for her dignity, Sapphire had already completed that task and the White Queen decided to allow herself just a moment's revenge. Take care of the invisible girl, she commanded him, the order settling into his mind. He had almost humiliated her, so she figured that this was fair. And even if it was not fair, she wouldn't care either way. She was the White Queen and he was nothing.

As the Hellfire Club leader then turned her attention to her foe, she couldn't see Veil. The Mutant Underground leader had gone invisible, and it was just a moment too late before Emma detected where she was - right behind her. Slamming her fists down on Emma's head with all of her might, Veil sent the Hellfire Queen to the ground. Emma's platinum blonde hair was stained with blood, but she was still breathing - merely rendered unconscious due to an opportunity created by reckless ego. "And that's how we do it in Canada," Veil snarked, still invisible to the rest of those fighting. She did a quick count - they had three actual Hellfire goons to deal with and then something needed to be done about Havok.

Glimpse was unresponsive for the moment, it seemed. The same could not be said for Havok. The younger Summers brother nodded, smirking at Anastasia's call to come and help her out. He was thrilled to get the chance to take out all of his anger and rage on Sapphire - especially after she had kissed him! His heart belonged to the daughter of Magneto and no one else could even hope to claim it. "I've been wanting to kill this whore for ages," he chimed in enthusiastically, cracking his knuckles a bit.

Havok walked forward, stepping around the sofa and he then fired off at Sapphire a ruby red blast of energy. His aim was off and the energy collided into the glass doors behind Sapphire, shattering the door in its entirety in seconds. He let off another blast, missing again. Was he always this terrible a shot? At this rate, he was making the stormtroopers look competent!

On the first floor of the Mutant Underground headquarters, Jack, Sunshine, and Blink (along with the unconscious Casper) would see a few mutants on the ground, badly hurt. Without closer inspection, it would be difficult to tell whether they were dead or alive. The majority of these fallen figures seem to be children - ranging from preschoolers to those about Sunshine's age. Blink's face fell slightly, especially as no one answered Jack's shout. "This must have been the Purifiers... It can't be a coincidence, this place getting hit at the same time we were," she reasoned. "The Brotherhood wouldn't have done this and I can't think of anyone else who would be able to hurt so many mutants..."

Sunshine's eyes narrowed. "This had to be the humans. They should all die, honestly..." she muttered. "Mutants are superior anyways." She made a little wisp of green smoke in her hand as she searched around the first floor, looking for someone to kill for this. It had to have been the humans. Everything that had ever gone wrong in her life had been because of them, from her mother abandoning her to the destruction of her first chance at having a family again earlier this very day. She was done just trying to survive on the streets and staying out of these sort of fights. She was going to make them pay - whatever it takes.

Hearing voices coming from one of the higher floors, Sunshine hurried up the decrepit staircase, avoiding the spots where the wood had worn out entirely and left gaping holes. There was no one conscious or alive on the second floor, but she could still hear those voices so she kept on running until she hit the attic.

"Damn it, kid, wait!" Blink shouted, jumping through portals within line of sight until she caught up to Sunshine.

In the attic, as the two girls emerged, Colossus was still holding onto Magik. Even though Callie had offered to take her from him, he wasn't about to let go. He had spent so many years separated from his sister that he just couldn't bring himself to even risk something happening to her. There was clearly something wrong with her as well - Illyana had been sweet and kind last he saw her. She wasn't a killing machine - she wasn't unhinged like that.

"Look, people," Negasonic exclaimed. She stared at the newcomers, about ready to jump at them and kick their ass if they were going to try anything.

"They are friends," Colossus clarified, recognizing Blink out of the two. He knew her as both a former member of the Brotherhood and of the Atlanta Station of the Mutant Underground. She had worked alongside Havok's girlfriend, Polaris. "Blink - is good to see you. What brings you here?" he asked her, continuing to hold up the ceiling just in case Leighton's ice pillars thawed. Negasonic nodded slightly at her mentor and went outside to scout some as Callie requested.

"The Purifiers killed Erg," Sunshine explained angrily. "And the druggie is dying, so we need someone to heal him like now."

John Watts

Location: Serval Industries - R&D Lab
Skills: Superhuman Speed, Hand to Hand Combat
Watts didn't care whether or not it was appropriate to beat the life out of the Scarlet Witch right now. "I don't give a rat's ass what you think!" he snapped, shoving Wesley violently off of him. His face was a blur, his eyes were red, and his voice was distorted, as he was moving so fast that the sound was warped. The others were in the room now, asking where Andrew was and all Watts wanted to do was rip out Wanda Maximoff's heart and crush it in front of her brother. "He's dead. You can thank the druggie and her boyfriend for that!" he spat. "Fire them both or I quit," he added to Gardner harshly. He was fairly certain she would concede to his threat - especially with Andrew gone, they didn't have much of a R&D department left.

The explosion must have set off a chain reaction on Andrew's poorly constructed suit. He spotted the shards in Gardner's hand and he tried to zip forward to grab them, tripping and nearly falling in the process. As he was getting up though, he managed to grab them. He was going to comb through all of them later, in order to see if he could find anymore evidence as to what had happened to Andrew - or at least recover the information on Andrew's final hour. He didn't want the little cupcake enthusiast to have died in vain. He didn't trust Gardner with the shards, as she was giving him a slightly uneasy feeling. Besides, she wasn't a scientist. She wouldn't know the difference between graphite and concrete if it hit her over the head, for example.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Gretna Green - Church
Skills: Nakai, Pavati, Arre-Catte Waho

Speaking in Arre-Catte Waho, Virginia said: "I do not fear you. I am Virginia Margaret Crypt, follower of the Dark Mother Veliona. Who are you?" Her axes were at the ready and she was practicing the skill of Nakai, allowing her mind and body to be strengthened for the potential fight to follow. Yet even as she was ready for battle, she told the truth - she was not afraid of this creature. It was silly to be afraid of the monsters that lurked in the night. There was little sense in fearing death as well - no one is ever ready when their time comes, yet dreading it and running from it does nothing productive. The Great Bazhooli had performed the Mamushka and given off a surprising declaration - whatever this thing was, it was not one of the Soulless. Knowing that information only increased Virginia's resolve to attempt to communicate with this being first - to not attack until it decided to strike.

Of course, Ny then threw his dagger and struck after recalling it to his hand. From what she could tell, the creature was about to charge and she sighed slightly. She would have loved to befriend this force, but it seemed it was not to be. She wished that her own axes would return to her grip, just as Ny's blade had returned to his hand - that would have been a useful skill. Instead, she resolved to just throw one axe for now and perhaps, if movement allowed, she might be able to collect it and rearm herself in time. Elizaveta and her companion were at the front of the Church, Ny was near her as was Vlad, and the rest were huddled in the back from what she could tell. "Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc," Virginia whispered, stating the Crypt Family motto, before she attacked in turn. "Not just pretty words."

Maeve Brennan

Location: Gretna Green - Church
Skills: N/A

Maeve wasn't stupid. She wasn't going to go charge at this unknown creature and risk her life needlessly. The others could die in vain if that was what they wanted, but she was going to play things safe. And while she was religious and believed that the Church offered some divine protection, she also knew better than to limit herself to just one line of defense. Calling upon and activating an old Celtic site would hopefully provide them with some additional protection against this thing, whatever it was. She heard the oddly dancing Russian man declare that the monster had a soul, something which didn't make any sense to her. All monsters were without souls - well, with the exception of the Protestants and the British, as they had souls and were the most vile, despicable people that walked the planet (Maeve was clearly unbiased, of course).

"You're jist gettin' dat nigh?" Maeve scoffed, as William suggested to have weapons at the ready - as if no one else would have thought of that already. Her slight dislike of the man was settling into a firm distaste. If the people in this place didn't know to have their weapons at the ready, then they deserved to be killed by this creature for the betterment of society. She was so tired of stupid people being allowed to just go on about their business, the rest of the world coddling them instead of teaching them a harsh lesson.
