🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Zeus' Cabin -> the Arena
Skills: Superspeed

Leda didn't know how willing the children of Aphrodite would be when it came to parting with some ribbons, but she would force them to go through with it regardless. If some ribbons would help the two youngest campers, then ribbons it would be. Besides, sometimes the Aphrodite kids needed to be knocked down a peg or two anyways - it was good for their egos. But before she could awkwardly explain to Arthur that there might be some problems with him sleeping in another Cabin, Andy's brother came up and volunteered Zeus' Cabin to house him. "Just maybe don't go around shouting to Chiron or Mr. D that you're bunking in a different cabin - they can get weird about that stuff."

"...You spoke to Thanatos?" Leda whispered back furiously to Demetri, trying her best to stay quiet enough so that way Arthur and Andy couldn't hear her. That was a bloody hell of a bomb to just drop on her so casually. It confirmed her suspicions though - there had been more to Ash's death than a simple accident. Her eyes darted over towards Arthur and Andy. They were kids of the Big Three - they'd be dragged into this one way or another, those kids always were. Leda was relatively safe in her mind - the children of Iris were usually the messengers, not the heroes. She tilted her head as the horn went off. They'd need to wait a bit to deal with Ash's funeral prep.

"Right, we've got to crack on - the horn means we all need to go to the arena now, it's obligatory but I promise we can start collecting some of Ash's things afterwards," Leda explained. "I'll run us over, it'll be faster," she said, before she grabbed the trio and quickly sprinted them over to the arena.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - the Big House/Infirmary
Skills: Mystiokinesis and Spell Casting

"Thank you," Rebecca replied to Mary, taking the peppermint sprigs. She then nodded at Zeke's request, handing the small portion of the plant over to him. Rosie had risen and her words were concerning, although not new information - they more or less confirmed what Zeke and Rebecca had told Chiron and Mr. D. The horn answered Zeke's question before Rebecca had a chance to - the meeting at the arena was obligatory. Given that they had been the ones to experience the vision with Rosie, she doubted there was any scenario where she and Zeke were not needed at this meeting. The prophecy though made it clear that Rebecca would not be needed for the quest itself, but those heroic quests dealing with the end of the world often required a coordinated response back at Camp Half-blood to deal with some other threat.

"I believe our presence is required," Rebecca mused. "I'll aid you in your journey." Rebecca glanced around the room for a moment, trying to think up something to help Rosie. The Oracle needed to rest and seemed to be having trouble already, so perhaps she could enchant something to assist her. Rebecca spotted a chair and she walked on over to it, closing her eyes and muttering some Latin phrases as she imbued the chair with magic. Slowly but surely, it began to float and hover, Rebecca opening her eyes and smiling slightly as she guided the floating chair over to Rosie. "This should function for you much like a mortal wheelchair," she explained.

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

Location: Orphanage
Skills: N/A

"Do I question your methods, detective?" she shot back at her brother. She had gone through undergrad and then medical school - Megan felt entitled to take a few risks every now and then. If she died of cancer one day because of it, then that was just the price she would have to pay. She wasn't about to call OSHA from hell and inform them to open up an investigation. She stood up from her crouched position, ensuring that the vial was firmly sealed before heading with Jack and Isabella to the security room.

Conveniently, one of the cameras was pointed at the scene of the crime. "Did this camera catch what happened?" Megan asked matter of factly. If it had, then their jobs would be made that much easier. She knew that her interest in this case went beyond the due diligence of solving a murder - answers to her past could be waiting for her. Or at the very least, there was someone attempting to manipulate her and she would rather bring them out into the light rather than let them continue to pull strings from the shadows. She didn't like the idea of being someone's plaything.

The Hub - San Fransisco: December 24th, 2020 - 6:00 P.M.

The Common Room...

Bonnie thought for a moment as Niah asked her how she could help. "How about the two of us get a bunch of inhibitor darts ready to go?" she suggested. They could temporarily deactivate mutant abilities, making it easier to handle Deadpool as he wouldn't be healing nearly as rapidly. Tempest had a more practical lock on the man in the red suit anyways, since she was tracking some of the devices in the gifts he had stolen, so they didn't need to try to track his X-gene.

"I'll stay here and guard the booze, then," Novikova said nonchalantly. "After all, не моя обезьяна, не мой цирк." One of the new guys announcement that he had hacked Deadpool's Twitter did cause Novikova to chuckle and she made a suggestion for something he could write in spite of herself. "Post an unpopular and politically incorrect opinion - Deadpool's an ass, but he's not that kind of ass," Novikova shrugged. She had no idea who Deadpool's true love was - she figured it was some girl with questionable life choices though, knowing Wade.

For a speedy chase, they had a variety of different vehicles in the garage - but with the heavy traffic that tended to form on Christmas Eve, they were best off using either the motorcycles, scooters, or trikes. Those options would allow them to travel quickly and weave in and out of cars as required, though hopefully they wouldn't be fighting Deadpool anywhere near where civilians were.

"Niah and I are going to get some Deadpool grade weapons - we'll then zip on over to the garage and hopefully catch you all," Bonnie told her companions, giving Flynn a quick peck on the cheek before she hurried off to the lab.

Roman was still just standing off in the corner, not saying a word or even looking remotely interested in the situation that was unfolding.

The Lab...

Bonnie got to the lab as quickly as she could, assuming that Niah was with her as she ran. Using her badge, she unlocked the door and held it open for her companion. "I used to be on the Mutant Control Squad before the Secret Warriors, I think I saved some of our supplies..." she murmured, going to a back cabinet and unlocking it again with her badge and a sixteen digit passcode. She pulled out two sleek titanium briefcases, setting them down on a desk and opening them up to reveal inhibitor darts compatible with a standard I.C.E.R., as well as lone inhibitor shots. The second briefcase had only one component - a series of metallic balls. Niah would recognize the weapon - essentially, these balls each contained a dose of inhibitor and when placed around a target, they would generate an inhibitor field of sorts that imprisoned the mutant inside, like a genie trapped in a lamp. "Alright, we have enough cartridges for everyone to take one shot at Deadpool - could be worse, but we'll have to make do."

Second Floor...

Raynor noticed that the window was smashed and there wasn't any glass on the floor in front of them, clearly indicating that Deadpool had just jumped on through to get down there. Pulling Lyting, he rushed forward and threw the dagger at Deadpool, hitting the mutant dead-on in the balls. Deadpool screamed in pain. "WHAT THE SHIT, RAY!" he screamed. "RIGHT IN THE FAMILY JEWELS?!"

"Alright, now we just need to go down and grab him - there's no way he'll withstand the pain to pull..."

But right as Raynor was about to explain the enchantment that made it painful for anyone else to wield his dagger, as it would cause them to bleed and writhe in agony like Crucio in Harry Potter, Deadpool pulled the dagger out with a triumphant and horrifying scream.

"Do I get to rule Asgard now?" Deadpool mused. "Oh wait, your Asgard blew up, didn't it Ray?" he taunted, before mounting a motorcycle and he took off.

"FUCK!" Raynor screamed. "Okay, okay fine, I taught you stunt driving so... it'll just be a high speed chase, that's all. We can't let him take your - I mean, everyone's gifts."

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: Problem Solving
Guin raised an eyebrow at the red mutant, Akane - she reminded her some of Allison back when they first joined the X-Men. She was naive, innocent, and giddy - though her lack of situational awareness was rather salient as well. At the very least, she hadn't gone over to ask Guin's father for his autograph. She was always annoyed when her teammates treated Tony Stark like the celebrity he was. "I dunno, the entire dying thing seems kinda implied when you're stealing the real world equivalent of a mini Death Star to kill something called the World Eater," Guin pointed out to her fiancé. The Power Cosmic that the heralds had sounded a bit to her like either the Force or the ability to go Super Saiyan or whatever the latest shtick was in Dragonball Z.

"...The size of a solar system? There's no way we could move fast enough to search that entire ship. Please tell me you have at least a general idea of where he keeps it - like, maybe an area Pluto or smaller in terms of size?" Guin hoped. The rough distance from the Sun to Pluto was about 6,000,000,000 kilometers. To be able to cover the entire ship just in a straight line, assuming that they could go about Mach 3 in whatever tech they used, it would take them 225 years. Richards' device would have to get them to a general area or they wouldn't stand a chance of finding and retrieving the device in time - and her math was just assuming they traveled along a straight line without any pauses. "Since otherwise, it'll be over 225 years for us to search Galactus' entire ship."

Bethany's suggestion did give Guin an idea however. Sure, they couldn't just throw a planet at Galactus but killing him did sound like a good choice. "Also... Why stop at threatening him? Why not actually put him six feet under? Since it sounds to me like him trying to eat planets is a recurring problem you guys have had. We could just find someone on Death Row and mind control them into using the device on Galactus."

Neil Spellman

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: N/A
Neil didn't judge Akane too much at her outburst about the giant face in the sky - seeing Galactus like that was definitely unnerving. And unlike the others in the group, Neil had only really fought Mesmero before. He hadn't seen some of the truly insane things that the others had gone through. He understood Stark and Banner's concerns about sending the X-Men up into the ship, but this sort of situation... They didn't have time really to pause and wait. They needed to start making moves now or the Earth could be consumed by the World Eater. Guin's mathematical estimation made his blood run cold though. "Do you have something to help us move quickly?" Neil asked. He really didn't want to die up on Galactus' ship from old age of all causes. "...And maybe we could have Thor or someone come with us, since some of us are kids and he has a lot of experience with aliens?" Neil suggested. He understood why they couldn't have all of the Avengers or the Fantastic Four go look for the device, but he bet the God of Hammers could at least come chaperone them.

Neil's eyes widened slightly at Guin's suggestion, far preferring Bethany's plan. It was a little bit darker than he had expected from the kid of one of the Avengers. While it was technically sound, it struck him as immoral, forcing someone to sacrifice themselves like that just to kill a cosmic being. And from his experiences in magic, being raised by two witches, Neil figured that they likely would run into a lot of problems if Galactus was dead. Darkness could not exist without light - the two are needed to balance each other out. Killing Galactus might just bring something far more terrible to replace the World Eater.

Washington D.C.: September 10th, 2020 - 11:10 AM

The Amtrak Station...

The mission had been too easy - the Hellfire Club relied on meticulous planning, usually anticipating more resistance than would ever be present. It was why Emma had sent the Three-in-One, the White Queen, and Jinx to handle this matter. The extra strength was in case the siblings needed to be subdued, but as the mutants left the train car and came out to find the Three-in-One waiting with the vehicle ready to go, black vans screeched as they came around the corner into view.

The legendary Avenger, Hawkeye, emerged first. He had something that looked like earpieces in his ears - psionic blockers, designed to keep telepaths out. A silver haired agent came out as well, followed by another agent who looked identical to the Three-in-One. "Only chance to surrender," Hawkeye called out.

"Or not. I could use the chance to stretch my powers," Agent Novikova chimed in. She wore ruby red shades - identical to the ones that Cyclops used.

The Three-in-One had come out of their car as well, cracking their knuckles but they looked at the blonde agent with interest. If the agent had straightened her hair rather than curled it, there would have been no noticeable difference between them beyond clothing. "What do you say, White Queen? It's been a while since we got to beat S.H.I.E.L.D."

JFK Memorial Hospital - Lobby...

Colossus nodded, about to bend down and pick up Vulcan but Sapphire already had it handled - and not at all in the way he would have expected. While Feedback hadn't managed to send the signal she wanted, to onslaught of music was sufficient to slow down and distract the cops as they tried to figure out what was going on and what their orders were going to be. He gingerly stepped around the ice slide that Sapphire had made, with Casper doing his best to do a slight run, slight hop as he tried to get on outside without falling on his face.

In the car, Magik was still burning up with a high fever and she was shaking from feelings of cold, but thankfully she wasn't conscious for the pain. Casper got into the back with her, with Vulcan unconscious in the trunk. Colossus then shifted back into his flesh form in order to be a bit smaller and he got into the shotgun seat, letting Sapphire take the wheel if she chose.

"Okay I know this isn't the time but... After we save this dickhead, then what?" Casper asked.

"You could call the X-Men and have them put him wherever they send their villains."

"Ugh, no, we are not calling them Ben!"

Sinister's Lair - Sabretooth's Hallway...

"Great, this is why we can't have nice things," Veil muttered as Spark Plug ran up, explaining that the rooms were rigged. There was still no sign of Sunshine, but with Sabretooth keeping them occupied they didn't have a moment to go look for the kid. Her initial attack had hardly phased Sabretooth - and according to Glimpse, Emma Frost was here as well. Fantastic. Luck was on Glimpse's side for the moment and she managed to bind Sabretooth, but it wouldn't last very long. He was straining against her and already almost breaking free.

"Come on, Palpatine him," Veil encouraged Spark Plug. She started throwing more and more force field frisbees at Sabretooth, leaving gashes all over his body yet they had already started to heal. There had to be a better way to do this. Veil wished she had a time machine so that way she could have gone back to when she was one of Xavier's students and ask him how to fight someone like Wolverine - Magneto fought Wolverine and won all of the time, how did he manage it? How did anyone else manage it for that matter?

Sinister's Lair - the Music Room...

Mister Sinister smirked at Jack and with his native telekinesis, he sent the flexible mutant back into the music room and forced Jack down onto the bench at the piano. Sinister then moved forward and with a flick of his wrist, he shut the door behind them - all the while, the piano continued to play its melody without even the slightest pause. "I see that my reputation precedes me," Sinister commented. "Tell me, Jacques, you're a private investigator - what mystery has brought you to my humble abode? And what other mystery is it that keeps you here?" He then laughed slightly. "There's no sense in lying to me - I can sense your fear, the way your pulse has quickened. And while I could just read your mind, I admit I do enjoy interrogations that are more... traditional in approach."

Sinister's Lair - the Wardrobe Suite...

Emma was patient, allowing Leighton to process her thoughts and to speak candidly. There was so much of her own history that her dear niece did not know. "I only learned you were a mutant a few days prior, when a certain police report was brought to my attention revolving an incident in a Target... The X-gene is passed through the father and I'm afraid to say, your father is as boringly human as they come. I didn't imagine that he would have a recessive copy of the gene to pass on to you - but so he did." Emma paused, allowing that bit of information to sink in. She didn't expect most mutants to understand how mutant genetics worked - most assumed that if you had one mutant parent, that was enough to propagate the X-gene. Emma's daughters, the Three in One, were a special case as they were clones and had no father. Emma's own X-gene had had to be extracted and inserted for the triplets.

"My intention is to give you a home, darling. I sense that you wish to shape the world for the better - to bring mutants out of the shadows and into the light. I share that desire. Come with me, dear - your friends can come as well, my home has room for all - and I can show you what I have been working on... A place for mutants to live freely without fear. A place of our own in this world."

Sinister's Lair - Outside the Wardrobe Suite...

Havok raised an eyebrow at Max. "I know as much about those guys' family as I do yours, kid," he explained. He had just met Casper and Jack after the Mutant Massacre - he had actually known Max slightly longer as he thought about it for a moment. Sure, maybe Jack and Casper's family had a lot of X-genes but he couldn't know that for sure. Some mutant siblings had no mutant parents - some did. He didn't really understand the genetics behind it and he never bothered to ask about it.

"Darn, I was really wanting to hit you," he quipped, not caring for Max too much. Havok then let off a blast and it did more than break the lock on the door - it knocked the door over and hit Leighton, giving her a nasty bump on the head. "Oh Emma - long time no see," Havok greeted sarcastically. "Figured I'd smelled your stench down here."

The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: November 6th, 12,508 - 1:20 AM

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Queen's Room - the Palace
Skills: N/A
Myrus returned Luna's embrace, taking a moment to just breathe and be thankful that his family was alright. They were orphans, yes, but they were siblings. They shared strong bonds that he was certain could meet any challenge, any test. Even though Valda had grown up in the Forest, he still felt that he knew his eldest sister his entire life. "It'll be fine, Luna," he promised his older sister softly, despite the heaviness of his heart. Valda came through the room a moment later, explaining that she had sent a message to Rowland and that he would be expecting them in the morning.

"Alright, we'll meet with him and see what we can do... about everything," Myrus said. His worries of Fleur coming to kill his siblings were minimized at the moment, thanks to the chaos of the vampires and the mysterious chains and the looming threat of Ragnarok. He would do anything to keep his family safe - and to keep his kingdom safe. But if he had to choose between them? Myrus didn't know what choice he would make. Family or duty? He wasn't the Castle's king, but he was a member of its Royal Family, obligated to serve and protect.

He pushed those sad thoughts out of his mind and took off his cloak, stripping down to his undergarments (a cotton white shirt and pants of a similar texture), before he went and lied down on the far left portion of the gigantic bed. There would be plenty of room for the three siblings to sleep.

Violet

Location: ???
Skills: ExtraOrdinary Magyk
Violet's path had always been clear for her - the next step was always just a question of how, rarely one of whether. She followed Fleur back into the woods towards where they had emerged, contemplating the question. "I have work that is worth doing - to purify the Castle from those who survive by corruption and greed, who rape and pillage without any consequences," Violet said calmly. "I have to burn the rot in order to preserve the good... After that, I do not know. Perhaps then I will return to where I was born." She didn't mean a simple town or hamlet, no nothing as mundane as that. Violet had awoken in the Darke, trapped and alone. It had taken her time to learn to escape from it, to emerge from Limbo and enter the physical world.

"What of you? Once you have toppled their armies and restored peace to these lands, what will you do?" Violet asked the Witch Messiah, the Head of the Demon. It wasn't too long until they reached the strange metallic structure and Violet peered at it, attempting to figure out if there was some clue as to how to take the Way back to where they had come from. The Magyk reminded her of Limbo in some respects, yet was entirely different in others.
Asgard: November 6th, 12,508 - 2:20 AM

The Palace Entrance Hall...

"Sága?!" Halley exclaimed, a bit surprised. She had never seen the ancient goddess in her life. Many on Asgard believed her to be dead or lost in distant realms, never to return to Asgard for fear of Odin's wrath. ".... She?" Halley then emphasized. For a split second, she considered whether or not Loki was innocent, but currently Loki was presenting as female - so Halley felt that the she pronoun could just be confirmation that Loki was their foe, responsible for bringing Ragnarok. "Forseti was being stubborn and pigheaded as usual," Halley explained to her brother.

She frowned slightly. So many events were occurring all at once. "It's late. Perhaps we should retire and meet with the All-Mother come dawn... I am certain your babe misses you." Halley was scared - yet she also knew that they couldn't take any action now. Most of Asgard was asleep, as were their foes. The other scouts would return with information and they could discuss it all soon enough anyways.

Bruce and Myth's Home...

Antonije smirked slightly. "Oh, you want me to lay next to you? Whatever will your parents think, a boy like me with a girl like you?" he teased, before lying down next to Sylvi and pulling her into his arms. He kissed her forehead gently before closing his eyes himself, listening to the steady beating of her heart with the attention one would normally give a master symphony. "I love you..." he then whispered into her ear.

The Well of Mimir...

"Very well," the hooded figure replied, reaching out and pulling Cuyler's eye clean out of its socket. Strangely, the wound instantly healed and scarred, leaving little pain behind. The figure stared at the eye for a moment, before nodding at Cuyler. "Drink," he beckoned, producing a chalice from nowhere seemingly and extending it to the demigod.

Dominika Novikova, Bonnie Chase, and Raynor Blake

Location: the Common Room - the Hub
Skills: N/A
Bonnie's eyes widened slightly at the information Cass offered up so casually - Flynn was related to Magneto in that other world? It must have been some sort of cosmic joke, especially since Flynn had spent some time working for O.M.E.N., a UV government operation that prided itself on killing mutants. Sure, there was already some real irony there since Flynn developed his powers working for S.H.I.E.L.D., but now Bonnie couldn't help but wonder... Magneto had a lot of children. There was even one with vibrant green hair and the ability to control metal. Could Flynn be one of them?

"Maybe Hill fired whoever was in charge of the security here too," Novikova muttered bitterly as an answer to Maria's question about how Deadpool had gotten in. She was slightly drunk and more than slightly amused to see a comical superhero in red spandex going on about Christmas. It wasn't the weirdest thing she had seen in her life, but at least it was funny instead of majorly depressing.

Raynor nodded slightly at Sparky. "I met him in Jacksonville when he was with special forces," he explained. "Wade was one of the best - aside from me, of course, but it wasn't fair anyways. I'm a god, after all, and he was just.... well, not this. This was before his face looked like Odin's asshole." He instantly regretted it as soon as he said it, waiting for the Odin of this reality to smite him where he stood. Nothing happened. Raynor couldn't help but thank his lucky stars for that. He didn't argue when Deadpool - or "Santa" - pronounced him to be on the naughty list. At least Wade wasn't making fun of his stupid santa costume.

"I thought you were supposed to give us coal - and you're stealing a puppy?" Novikova couldn't help but giggle. Yes, she was definitely tipsy. But then again, this wasn't really her problem anymore. They had fired her. If people wanted to care about Deadpool dressing like Santa and robbing a S.H.I.E.L.D. base of their presents, then that was their job. It wasn't like Deadpool had done something to Pym Tech - the only place that currently valued her contributions and recognized what she had done to save the people she loved.

"It's not a S.H.I.E.L.D. Christmas without having to stop someone from ruining everything..." Bonnie sighed slightly. "Uh, Cass, are you trying to get through the hole in the ceiling? Since I think we might have better luck seeing if we can track him - maybe Harry and I can find something in the lab that'll lock onto his X-gene. Deadpool's one is unique, right?"

"Screw that. I'm getting our stuff back now. Sparks, fly me up there!" Raynor said, unusually motivated. He had gotten Sparky for Secret Santa and he had gotten her an engagement ring for her present. He wasn't about to let Wade Wilson ruin that. No way.

🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: New Room
Skills: N/A
Arthur always found Pyslocke to be a little bit weird. He didn't know too much of her history, but she was asian and her twin brother was anglo-saxon. That always tended to draw his attention, even if he didn't fully understand all of the bodyswapping that the warrior had gone through in order to end up like this. Mutants could be so strange at times. There was a brunette with her as well - he didn't know who she was. Maybe he had seen her before, but he wasn't certain. Psylocke's energy blade was more of his concern at the moment anyways. His mind worked rapidly, attempting to figure out the best path to pursue from here. But his thoughts were clouded by anger - by the knowledge that his father's killer stood right there in front of him.

"If you are Elizabeth Braddock, then you shouldn't need to ask me those questions," Arthur answered, his emerald hood covering his face. He knew he could send a grappling arrow and fly past them most likely - or he could send an explosive arrow at the telepath and kill her. He could avenge his father's murder - but Psylocke had been controlled. She was a pawn in this scheme. The Red Queen was his father's true killer... And as much as he knew that, he still wanted to send an arrow at Psylocke out of rage and fury.

"Who I am does not matter. I'm here to avenge an innocent."

⚡John Watts⚡

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: Machine Room
Skills: Superspeed, Molecular Oscillation
Watts cursed with pain as he was shot in the foot by one of their Serval colleagues, using all of his willpower not to scream. He couldn't let them think he was weak. And too much was at stake to waste energy on expressions of pain in front of this half rate cyborg. Gritting his teeth, he vibrated his foot and then simply raised it, the bullet dropping to the ground as he phased it out with his superspeed. "You're right, Sapphire," Watts said coldly. "You aren't an engineer. Feel free to correct me once you have at least the engineering training equivalent of a college freshman. Goodness knows three Ph.D's clearly mean nothing compared to your raw talent."

He then shook his head at Evelyn. "We don't know whose mind is inside of his head. I'm not taking any chances. We could be dealing with a mutant - you've all seen the news. You know what they're capable of." There were so many mutants with psionic abilities that he had no doubt would jump at a chance to use a machine like this. These people, this Sisterhood, they were hardly anyone he wanted to deal with. He knew enough about their members to not want to risk waking "Andrew" up at all. There was the problem of the two newcomers. The girl seemed to be weak and naive, so he focused on the cyborg. It took him a bit more effort than he would have liked, but he moved like a flash and then returned to his spot, holding Casey's weapons. "Superspeed. Google it."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Zeus' Cabin
Skills: N/A

Leda shot a look at her sister that clearly communicated the message - seriously?! It was an incredibly blunt way to explain the process to these little kids and Leda really didn't want to have to deal with calming them down again. Emotions were tricky and fragile. Maybe she needed to talk to Chiron and Mr. D about getting sensitivity training for some of the older demigods. Today's events definitely proved that they could all benefit from it majorly. At the very least, Arthur had a helpful suggestion for honoring Ash - using some of her belongings, even her favorite backpack. "Yeah, we can definitely grab her backpack and maybe fill it with some other things. You could even put in some of her favorite snacks."

"I can go with Arthur and Andy, if you want to handle the shroud," Leda offered. She didn't really trust Tammy when it came to handling the emotions of the kids at the moment and she didn't trust Arthur by himself. For all she knew, he might have wanted to go grab something from his cabin just as an excuse to slip off and try summoning Ash's spirit again. Besides, these kids shouldn't be alone at the moment anyways - it just wasn't healthy for them after what had happened.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - the Big House/Infirmary
Skills: N/A

Rebecca didn't even flinch as Zeke snapped at her, seemingly undisturbed by his unwarranted outburst. In her experience, those who reacted with hostility to offers of help had delusions of their true capabilities, often exaggerating them in an attempt to cast a spell on those around them... to appear better than they really are. Apollo's ego was well noted, so it hardly shocked her to see Zeke display something similar under stressful circumstances. "I'll see if I can procure some peppermint - there is likely some in my cabin," she told Zeke calmly.

She gave a slight smile to Kiera. "Thank you for the offer - it is appreciated," she told her sweetly. As much as Rebecca was morbid and calm, she was also a kind person by nature. She administered the herbs to Rosie gently, hoping that they would revive her without too much trouble. Once Rosie was awake, she then planned to figure out a source for the peppermint. She could have ran to her cabin immediately, but then something occurred to her. "Marygold, could you sprout some peppermint?" she asked the daughter of Demeter. A fresh supply would be lovely.

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

Location: Orphanage
Skills: Chemistry

"Well, you know, cellular division and replication does wonders for the growing process," Megan commented politely, after Gretchen commented on how big she was. Megan noted slightly that most women would have likely been offended by that, but it had been over a decade since she had seen Gretchen - since she and her brother had been adopted. She followed Gretchen down the halls and outside to where the body had been found, noticing the burn mark with a frown. Megan crouched down and snapped on a pair of gloves, before gently picking up the half empty vial.

"I'll run tests on this back at the lab," she informed her brother and Isabella, before opening up the vial and taking a whiff. Officially, it was a dangerous thing to do, smelling chemicals. Unofficially, it could help you get a general idea of what the chemical was. Sulfurs smelled horrible. Esters tended to have fruity, tropical, or otherwise sweet scents. Meg gagged slightly and closed the vial. It smelled like farts. "I'm guessing some sort of sulfur containing compound - likely an organic then, which would explain the burn marks. Organics are easily flammable."

Now why had John Doe been there the night they were dropped off at the orphanage? And she knew that her brother had been dropped off the same night as her, but from what Gretchen was saying Isabella had been dropped off around the same time as well. That was too much of a coincidence to just easily write off.
