Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower -> Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Telepathy
She smirked slightly, hearing everyone fawn over the suits her father had designed. Yes, they were amazingly cool and unlike the rest of them, Guin was certain she would wear one of these again - and probably soon, even. She was fully intending on bragging about it but Richards' device beamed them up onto Galactus' ship before she got a chance to. The ship was massive - they really hadn't been kidding about the dimensions on this thing. The bright lights zipping around the walls reminded her of SciFi movies in general - maybe Star Trek more than Star Wars?

You didn't seem to hate them when we had our first kiss in a pair of Iron Man suits, Guin reminded Pietro, kicking off and flying towards where the tracker indicated the device was. What's up? she then asked.

I still prefer running, anyway... You probably know Mary better then most people... Does she have any siblings? Since if not why did she have a twin in the reality that Wanda created? I never thought about it until now...

There had been a lot of weird inconsistencies in Wanda's reality. Pepper had been Guin's biological mother there. Pietro had had another brother named Flynn - an older brother. Mary had a twin sister, yet she also was the younger sister of Gambit, one of the old X-Men. I don't think she has any siblings - but also there was a lot of things in that reality that didn't make sense... Like that woman, Miranda? She was your biological mom there. Pepper was mine. And Gambit was Mary's brother.

Yeah, but Guin... Mary just acted a lot like her twin from that reality. Like a lot like her considering I thought personally she was going to at the very least smack Sara or something...

Okay, but she's been kinda acting like that since the entire O.M.E.N. thing... Remember how she blew up and screamed at everyone? She's my best friend, but... She isn't exactly someone I would call mentally stable these days.

Guina, what I'm trying to tell you is I actually think she might have a split personality. One is the normal person we've known forever, the other somewhat being a psychopath.

Guin glanced over towards Mary, thankful that the suit's mask was hiding her expression. She didn't really want to believe it, but there did seem to be a lot of truth in Pietro's idea. Ever since Wanda's House of M reality, Guin's own powers had been expanded to reach a little more of their potential. Her mind switch ability turned out to just be one aspect of her telepathic powers. Concentrating on Mary's mind, she probed it gently, hoping to not find extensive mental damage...

But then she heard two voices in Mary's mind - one was the old Mary and the other was Chrysi. She took a deep breath. You're right. Fuck. We can't have her here on this mission - we should ask Richards to send Mare home. Get her a psych eval.

She then started telepathically communicating with Beth and Allison. "Hey guys - bad news. It turns out Mare's got a split personality that wants the world to end. So... I think we might want to send her home, since this isn't the best place for a psycho to be - especially with us trying to keep the world from ending."

Neil Spellman

Location: Stark Tower -> Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Minor Molecular Combustion
Neil glared at Carolina slightly. She was his friend, but he didn't see himself or Sara as being in the wrong here. Mary was completely out of line and he had done his job to defend Sara's honor, as any good boyfriend should. "We're not the ones being kids - she is," he mumbled to Carolina, referring to Mary. But he nodded as Sara told him that they could let it blow over, especially since they weren't going to be on the same team as Mary anyways - he didn't care that she apologized after the fact. He liked his little team. Yet with the Iron Man suits on, it wasn't too long before his group was transported up into space, ending up in what looked like some sort of observation deck.

While the end of the world was nigh, he couldn't deny how breathtaking the ship was. "Woah..." he said softly, his eyes wide with astonishment. They were on an alien spaceship, something he never expected to do. He had no idea what any of the wires might have been for. He walked on up to the door and tried to open it, only to find that it was locked. "Um, stay back," he then advised everyone. He didn't use his powers of combustion too often. It took a bit of concentration but he managed to explode the lock on the door, allowing them all access to the large room. Opening up the door, Neil's shoulders slumped slightly in confusion.

There was a jungle on the other side. "Uh..." he muttered uncomfortably, not really wanting to be the leader or anything. He really hoped someone else would take charge.

"I knew I was different. I knew I was special. Always, I knew there was something."
He Who Must Not Be Named

Less than three years ago, He Who Must Not Be Named visited the quaint village of Godric's Hollow to kill the infant son of Lily and James Potter. In a twist of fate, baby Harry survived the Killing Curse, defeating You Know Who as the Dark Lord vanished, never to resurface again. You already know the story of the Boy Who Lived. This is not his story. No, this is the tale of those missing years - between the First and Second Wizarding Wars.

The Death Eaters have largely disbanded, thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Magic. Some of them were convicted of their horrible war crimes, sentenced to Azkaban for life. Others pretended to have been under the control of the Imperius Curse or cut a deal, naming their fellow Death Eaters in order to obtain immunity. The majority were simply never caught, integrating back into society, hiding their Dark Marks underneath the fabric of their cloaks. They have gone back to their jobs at the Ministry, they're running shops on Diagon Alley, they are the concerned parents writing to Headmaster Dumbledore at Hogwarts, asking for some safety equipment to be required during Flying Lessons. The world has moved on from its darkest hour.

Unfortunately, another threat has been growing in the vacuum left behind by You Know Who. Called the Chimera, no one knows anything about this rising Dark Lord. The Ministry does not wish to believe they are real, but the Auror Office has dispatched a team to specifically apprehend and bring in Chimera, before this new foe can bring about another war. A new term at Hogwarts is beginning, with students eagerly and nervously heading to the scarlet steam engine to take them to school. All of them remember clearly He Who Must Not Be Named's reign of terror - and it darkens their days with nightmares, just as the magic and camaraderie at school brings them light.

Is this just the calm before the storm?

T H E W I Z A R D I N G W O R L D

This roleplay is a part of the Skyrose Multiverse - but since it is set in Earth-713, it does not have any direct connections to the other roleplays! It is in its own universe, meaning that if you have played with me previously and want to reimagine a character of yours as a Hogwarts student? Go for it! If you are new to our community and want to read more about this multiverse, please click here to read the lore guide.

Since this roleplay is set in the 80's, we are avoiding running into the events of the main Harry Potter series. However, if you need to look something up, Harry Potter Wikipedia is an excellent resource. Your GM has read the books numerous times but I can often be forgetful, so please do look here first. Unless I say otherwise, everything up to 1984 is cannon!

Lastly, I have made a resource for you all - since this is a school roleplay, your characters will know different amounts of magic depending on their age. I have placed below all of the magic and such that is known to be taught at various levels. This list is NOT exhaustive. If a spell you want to use isn't listed below, contact the GM - most likely, I will assess where it fits best and add it here, so do consider these guidelines and living documents!

R U L E S

*Rules are enforced and you will be removed if you break them.
  • Applications:
    • Post the CS in the OOC for review.
    • Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
    • Choose a faceclaim for your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images - not drawings.
    • The GM can refuse a concept for any reason, yet will generally work with you to fix up the character until they can be accepted.
    • Talk to the GM if you want your character to have established connections (i.e. if this were a Star Wars RP and you wanted to be Baby Yoda's cousin, talk to the GM in advance for approval).
    • GM approved character sheets should be posted in a hider in the Char tab.
    • The GM will check posting history / previous RPs - you've been warned.
    • Once CS's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
    • Under Extras in your CS please post a link to a post you have done in the past to show you have read the rules. If You submit a CS without this it may be declined.
    • Special - To New Comers To The Guild - Pm The Gm for a tid bit to add under extras instead
  • Post Content
    • No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
    • Nudity needs to be run by the GM before posting. In general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
    • Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
    • The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
  • Posting & General Behavior
    • Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
    • If you need an extension or you're struggling - or even if you just aren't certain what to do - please reach out to the GM! Communication is key.
    • All posts are backed up on the back up forum after they have been posted - the GM will provide the link for this forum. It only takes a few seconds and it ensures all your hard work is preserved!
    • You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 8 days ago you will be removed from the RP.
    • If you need an extension, ask!! Extensions should be requested no matter than when your last post reads as 6 days ago. If an emergency comes up on day 7, of course come and talk to us - we'll be more than happy to work something out. It's very rare that an extension request is denied.
    • You may NOT copy and paste something from someone else's post and add it to your own. This includes dialogue.
    • Minimal 2 posts between your last
    • No editing posts without GM approval.
    • Each post should include two well developed paragraphs (please don't make me define how many sentences are in a paragraph. If they're long sentences, then sure 5 is fine - if they're shorter, maybe 15 is best).
    • Read all posts! Seriously, people are reading yours so spread the love and read theirs!
    • No tagging for interactions in your post - people use this as a crutch usually to get away with not reading everything.
  • Other:
    • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
    • The GM reserves the right to make decisions as to how much additional time, if any, will be granted to post if the forum is glitching. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two. But usually, I do tend to be pretty generous about it...
    • Rules and character sheet will be added to and changed as need be depending on problems or points that come up.
    • Under Extras in the CS also mention your Hogwarts House so I know you at least skimmed this...
    • Check the discord chat once a day. Invite will be provided by the GM.

C O D E S

Please read through these codes carefully. It's a bit of a different style than I usually use for my roleplays, but I am hoping that it will allow for us to have smoother gameplay. If you are confused as to what to put, please send me a PM and we can chat!

For the relations code, you are required to have at least one best friend and one enemy. If you can't find anyone among the PC's to fit that role for you, please contact the GM - I have tons of NPCs to fit just about any situation. (Now why do I require a best friend and an enemy? This is Hogwarts. They're teenagers too. It seems to me to fit the situation. If your character is going to be so isolated as to not have a best friend, how are you going to enjoy playing them in a heavily teamwork based story as well?)

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

Location: Orphanage -> Oak Park
Skills: Forensic Science, Chemistry

Megan was ruminating on the evidence as she drove to the designated meet up point in the letter. This had to be the most interesting thing to happen to this sleepy little town and she couldn't help but be slightly excited. Sure, it was incredibly worrisome that some stranger connected to her adoption and that of several others had been murdered by a woman cosplaying a Disney villain with a fireball - but it was thrilling as well. Pulling up across the street from the park, she parked her car and looked out her window, noticing some kid getting into a car. Ordinarily this wouldn't have caught her attention, but some of those who received the letters might have been underage. Was this girl another potential victim? She didn't recognize either of them.

Had her brother been with her, she probably would have known to stay in the car and wait longer - but she didn't want to. She stepped out of the car and locked it, before heading across the street and entering the park itself. These events definitely seemed to be related. It was at least worth looking around to see if she could find the strange substance here as well. But there was nothing here. It was just an ordinary park. She sighed slightly, running a hand through her hair briefly. "Sometimes a coincidence really is just that..." she murmured to herself, crossing her arms. She didn't particularly want to head back to the station at the moment, hoping to avoid Isabella - but the station also meant a chance for her to analyze that vial.

She then glanced over towards the car the girl had gotten into - but it was gone, having already pulled away down the road. "...Alright, universe, I'll take the hint and head back to the lab. Hope you're chuffed."

The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: November 10th, 12,508 - 10:45 AM

Inside the Throne Room of the Palace...

"You have my sword," Rasputina agreed, nodding sagely at Queen Valda. Her country was not formally at war with the Castle and she would not allow the Empress to die in the same room as her younger sister less than a year prior. To those with Magykal training, such as Fleur, Rowland, Violet, and Valda, it would become apparent that Rasputina's sword was somehow a manifestation of her own life force. She was a mutant like many of those from the Eastern SnowPlains.

The champion of the Eastern SnowPlains cut through one of the Magykal blasts of the Darke witches, dispersing it with practiced ease. Empress Astris smiled slightly, spotting that her sister's ghost had Appeared out of the corner of her eye. "You will owe me for this aid," Astris warned Valda, before she waved her hands and an icy blast hit the Darke witches, sending them flying backwards.

"...She's a mutant..." Myrus mumbled, his fingers trembling as he undid the fastenings on his cloak and cast the flaming garment aside. He didn't even have time to process Amarantha's death. He dropped to the ground and rolled, screaming in agony as the flames diminished but half of his face had a nasty burn on it that would be sure to scar. Luna fortunately would only have a mild burn on her hand, with Valda lucking out and receiving no wounds.

Rowland looked around the room in confusion, having been compelled to attack Amarantha but she was already dead. "Witch, stay out of my mind!" he snapped at Fleur, breaking free from her control. He saw his pupil pinned by Ahote and the chains were in the hands of Queen Valda. He tried to use Magyk to quickly bind Arya with the chains, but they didn't respond to his call - they must have been impervious to Magyk somehow. "My Queen, the chains!"

Violet nodded at Fleur's words, before attempting to free herself from Ahote's grip. His physical strength outmatched hers and she hesitated for a moment, before beginning to cast a curse on the unsuspecting man. "Blood go black and flesh go blue, evil from me and back to you, my soul clean and yours on fire!" Violet chanted. Ahote's face would begin to be tinged with blue, yet the curse was not complete yet. It would take a few more recitations before the job would be finished.

King Nicholas smirked slightly. "Well... I'm going to step out. Lovely to see you, dear," he said, winking at Fleur before he and his champion quickly exited the Throne Room in search of cover. Freyr and King Alvis were fighting back Darke witches as best as they could, using the traditional weaponry of the Land of Long Nights.

"Blood go black and flesh go blue, evil from me and back to you, my soul clean and yours on fire!"

The Staging Area at the Saecular Games...

Antonije bit his lip and nodded at Sylvi, feeling especially heroic thanks to her skillful song. "Alright, well... Where do we start?" he muttered, talking mostly to himself. He wasn't really a melee brawler. Yes, he had been able to make some progress as a vigilante but that had always been in a one on one situation where he had the advantage. He was so busy trying to think about what the best course of action was that he didn't even notice the soldiers from the Lagoon closing in on them, cutting off their escape routes.

"...Do you think you could play something to make them all cry or fall asleep?" Antonije suggested, before taking a breath and he tried to melt their minds using his telepathy. The five soldiers screamed in pain, holding their heads as they then collapsed to the ground. Antonije's own head was pounding from the strain. "Shit... That hurt..."

The Stadium at the Saecular Games...

Baldur had on a grim expression, his long beard moving slightly in the wind kicked up by Bruce's flames and so much Darke Magyk. His brother Hodr was blind and his fighting days were long since over. Before the accident that cost him his sight, Hodr had been an excellent archer, one of the best in the Nine Realms. "Grandfather, you need to get out of here - it's your death that causes Ragnarok. You know the prophecy," Halley urged.

But her grandfather shook his head. "I cannot leave while the people of Midgard need us - we have sworn to protect them."

"Aye, Halley, lend me your aid - if you can be my eyes, perhaps I can change the tide with my arrows," Hodr asked.

Halley sighed slightly. "Oh, very well..." she agreed, conjuring a bow and a quiver of arrows for her great-uncle Hodr. "Your aim will be true," she promised, a slight smirk as she helped Hodr set up the weapons. Baldur's back was turned to his brother as he sent out blasts of light, stunning a few of the Darke mages.

The Hub - San Fransisco: December 24th, 2020 - 6:20 P.M.

The Common Room...

Novikova's shoulder was tender and bleeding, thanks to Roman's bite. "Agh, this is not the kinky evening I wanted," she muttered, letting Maria stand in front of her for the moment. Maria did have more skills when it came to fighting and she wasn't about to argue with her fiancée at the moment. "If I turn into an alien, I'm suing," she then added. But before either Maria or Novikova could do anything, Oliver had sprayed Roman with vodka, stolen the knife, and hit him over the head with a bottle.

The alien didn't say a word, vodka dripping down his face. He lunged at Oliver, only for Novikova to kick him in the back and send him to the ground. She was glaring at the creature as she sent the utensils in the room up into the air, suspending them just inches from the creature's throat. "Tell us what the hell is going on or I dissect you and win a Nobel Prize for the groundbreaking research."

"Your planet is lost," the alien hissed. "The secret invasion has already begun."

The Park...

Bonnie shook her head slightly at Cass' comment, not even wanting to get into that at the moment. She hadn't slept with Flynn - Bonnie was taking things relatively slow with their relationship. Anything faster was just too much for her at the moment. Flynn thankfully didn't poke any fun at that, getting onto one of the trikes and Bonnie got on behind him. Less than ten minutes later, they were all at the park with Tempest, Tinley, and the others. Raynor and Sparky touched down a moment later, having flown there.

"I have these for everyone - one inhibitor dart, it fits into your gun like any bullet," Bonnie explained, handing out the inhibitor darts to everyone. "I also have this - it generates an inhibitor field. I'll place these orbs around Deadpool and immobilize him," she added. She figured the others - those with more combat experience - would be able to handle the Merc with a Mouth and she would try to use the device to pin him into one location.

"Got it, we hide and then jump him," Raynor summarized, not caring too much to point out how difficult it would be for him to hide in the bright red Santa suit he was currently wearing - and Sparky was dressed as an elf at the moment. He walked over to one of the trees in the area and he climbed up it, perching in the branches as he was ready to quite literally jump on Deadpool the moment he saw him. He twirled the inhibitor dart slightly, before inserting it into one of his pistols and waiting.

Bonnie glanced around for a moment, before she spotted a few bushes that seemed like as good a place as any to hide. Carrying the device to make the inhibitor field with her, she went and crouched behind the bushes, practically vanishing from sight. Everyone would be able to find a place to hide - just in time as well, as Tempest had asked Deadpool to meet "Peter" in ten minutes... ten minutes ago.

Deadpool's motorcycle was roaring as he pulled into the park, the sack of gifts slung over his shoulder and the puppy barking happily under his arm. "Oh Spidey, I'm heeeereee~!" he sang. "I'm ready for you to make an honest man out of me~!"

The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: November 10th, 12,508 - 10:30 AM

This day will live in infamy.

Fleur's forces were assembled and having received their marching orders, they began the assault on the Castle. Her borrowed army from the Lagoon joined up with all but five of her top witches, amassed at Raven's Rock. The Magyk of the witches and the engineering prowess of some of the soldiers allowed them to construct a temporary bridge from Raven's Rock to the Palace Landing Stage. The army traveled across the bridge, reaching the Palace Grounds. From there, the army charged towards the rear entrance of the Palace and the witches joined hands, chanting as they used their Magyk to summon a lightning storm. The lightning was building, the storm clouds darkening, but the spell was nowhere close to complete just yet.

Inside the Throne Room of the Palace, the glass windows allowed those gathered to see the oncoming storm - the massive army heading to attack. Myrus' eyes widened, hardly even comprehending what Luna or Ahote had said to him - it was like his mind short circuited. "We're under attack!!!" he screamed, startling Rowland as the ExtraOrdinary Wizard turned and saw the massive force.

"Empress, with me," Rasputina said instantly, pulling a glowing sword out of nowhere and holding it in front of her ruler protectively. King Nicholas just smirked and started to laugh, not too concerned with the army - as they had the colors of the Lagoon. King Alvis' eyes narrowed. "What is the meaning of this?!" he shouted, convinced that it had to be a bloody trick.

"Arya..." Rowland then stammered, as Violet, Fleur, and five other witches appeared in the Throne Room.

Violet stared at him without any recognition. "ExtraOrdinary," she greeted, before turning her sights on Amarantha. She was the commander of the forces of the Castle, and yet, she came from the most corrupt organization of them all - the Young Army. "You have failed the Castle," she warned Amarantha, conjuring a ball of Magykal Fyre in her hands. "And for that, you shall die." She then flung the Fyre at Amarantha, yet the flames dissipated before impact.

"No, I will not let you kill her," Rowland warned, having used his Magyk to stop the attack.

"Then you will die as well."

Outside the Palace, at the Saecular Games, members of the Hellfire Circle were Appearing throughout the stands, searching for prominent officials as Fleur had ordered. Civilians were screaming and attempting to do their very best to flee the scene, mothers trying their very best to reunite with their children lost in the chaos. Halley was nowhere to be seen, presumably attempting to persuade Baldur and Hodr to go back home to Asgard - was this the fight that would cost Baldur his life?

One of the dark mages from the Hellfire Circle used Magyk to enhance his voice, sending a booming announcement over the stands: "PEOPLE OF THE CASTLE, TODAY IS THE DAWN OF A NEW REIGN - QUEEN FLEUR! REJOICE, FOR YOU ARE SAVED!" This only incited more panic, with people trampling and shoving as they tried to flee the Palace and get back to the safety of their homes. Some of the mages had set Fyre to the stands, with innocents likely already beginning to perish in the utter calamity. "THOSE OF THE OLD REGIME, SURRENDER!"

🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹 and ⚡John Watts⚡

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: ???
Skills: Archery, Superspeed
Watts had to resist the urge to turn around and inform Elara of just how much he did not need her. He didn't need anyone really, though he did benefit from the company of Evelyn and Belladonna - Sapphire was more annoying than anything else, and Gambit and Rogue were proving to be useless as they were off likely making more mutants in a closet somewhere. It was annoying for him to see one of the new girls take down the dinosaur, since it didn't fit his narrative. He had to begrudgingly admit that they weren't the most incompetent people on the planet. Watts' ears twitched slightly as he heard the voices of the Sisterhood, recognizing Rae Gardner's voice instantly. "They're above us," Watts surmised.

Arthur came to the same conclusion, though he didn't give a verbal confirmation. His blood was boiling from hearing the casual conversation of the group of women responsible for murdering his father and stranding him on Krakoa, the worst location on Earth and the closest he hoped to ever get to hell. Four new monsters appeared, and Arthur didn't want to find out what sort of damage these illusions could do to him if he let down his guard or treated them as anything other than real. The T-Rex was back in action as well, causing Arthur to grimace slightly. He aimed an explosive arrow at one of the velociraptors, hitting the beast and the force of the explosion sent it backwards.

The T-Rex hit Watts and sent him flying over towards the raptors, but that didn't anger him nearly as much as the velociraptor hurting Evelyn. He was mad at her, yes, but that didn't change the way he felt. Red lightning flickered off of his body as he rushed at the beast and ripped out its heart, having gone so fast and oscillated his molecules that he was able to phase through the creature. The raptor dropped dead at his feet and Watts crushed the heart. "Nightingale, are you alright?" he asked.

While one of the raptors was dead, Arthur realized that it was pointless for them to fight these illusions - the Masterminds could just keep on making more and more to send their way. If he could hurt the telepaths themselves, then the illusions would at least stop becoming greater and greater in number. He sent another arrow, this time up at the ceiling, hoping the explosion would disrupt the Sisters Mastermind but instead the arrow curved and went back down at him. He barely managed to jump out of the way to avoid it, but the explosion still caught him slightly, giving him a few burns and bruises. "Telekinesis," he muttered. Psylocke?

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈 and ✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - the Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda decided that she and Demetri were going to be the best of friends from the moment that he decided to not to subtly insult Zeke. It was tantamount to him expressing his love for rainbows and tie dye. Her day became simultaneously better and worse as Zeke volunteered for the quest. It was going to be him, Kristin, and the new blind girl... It wasn't a combination that inspired confidence in her. And given that she had gone on a quest with two out of those three before, she had to wonder if Rosie was just replaying the greatest hits at the moment. At the very least, she wouldn't have to deal with those two for a while... but then again, the fate of the world was in their hands and Leda wanted to vomit at the very thought.

They had a larger group than she would have liked for going to Camp Jupiter, especially since demigods tended to attract monsters and she was certain they smelled like a tray of biscuits if not an entire store filled with them. Her ex-girlfriend was in the group which was definitely a negative, and she wasn't too sure how she felt about Kiera being there. She was still slightly crossed with her and everyone else for how easily they had just swept aside Ash's death. "Hullo," she said politely, before biting the bullet. "Erm, Arthur, I want to introduce you to Rebecca... daughter of Hecate. She's got powers over the dead too, maybe you could work with her or something?"

Rebecca smiled, extending a hand to Arthur. She wore a lot of rings, most of them having some sort of ritualistic or spiritual significance. "It's nice to meet you," she said softly. "Leda's right - I'd be more than happy to work with you on your gifts as we travel to Camp Jupiter." Rebecca didn't buy into the rivalries of her mother. She knew that Hecate had helped to light Demeter's way as she searched for Persephone when her child was stuck in the Underworld and that technically, it meant her mother sided with Demeter and not Hades... but her mother was the goddess of ghosts and Hades the god of the Underworld. They were connected and if she could help someone so young master such an awesome power, why not?

"Alright, well, we ought to get back to working on those funeral arrangements..."

"Oh I can help you, if you'd like Leda," Rebecca offered sweetly. She cherished the time she had spent with Leda and saw the daughter of Iris as a friend, even if they were no longer romantically entwined. Besides, Rebecca figured she could help provide any herbs that would be needed - some of them had special significance, thought to help the dead with their journey. And even if her particular skills were not needed, she was certain she could find some way to be of use.

"I don't think that's a good idea," Leda replied, shaking her head.
