Nancy had been biding her time, keeping an eye out for someone with a decent phone to swipe. She figured it would be easiest to handle once they got to their next destination, as people would be getting up off the train, they'd be pushing and shoving, and it'd be easy to just grab a phone out of someone's hands by knocking into them. They made their next real stop in Washington State, in its capital - Olympia. "Y'know, I still can't believe that Seattle isn't the capital here," Nancy mentioned to her companions. She hadn't heard of Olympia really before that day.

However, she sat upright, noticing the two monsters that had come onto the train. The blood drained from her face, seeing that they were two gorgons. Of all the monsters in mythology, they had to be some of the most fearsome. You couldn't look at them in the eye and their heads - with snakes - always gave her the creeps. She shuddered. "Gorgons," she whispered. "You can't look at them or they'll kill you... And I don't think you can be un-killed from being turned into stone, so it's a fast pass to Hades."

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

Location: Merlin's Warehouse

It was a really touching reason as to why Merlin had saved Jack - and the other children of villains. "Well I would say you succeeded with Jack, then... He's annoyingly admirable," she praised. Some people hated their siblings, bickering and fighting nonstop. Megan got along with Jack rather well, even sharing an apartment with him and working in the same place. It had always been the two of them up against the world. And besides, Megan didn't believe that nature determined who one grew up to be - that was a matter of nurture. Perhaps the other two would be good people as well. "Maleficent is here... Do you think she's found her child? Erm, did the villains care that you took their children?"

She turned her attention to Jack's phone, recognizing a few of the faces. Some of them she had seen at the park earlier. She felt a bit irritated that Isabella was texting Jack right now. They were finally getting answers as to why they had been abandoned at the orphanage all those years ago, why their parents had given them up. Her parents were royalty. Jack's was a crook.

⚡John Watts⚡ and 🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Mojoworld - Hobo Camp
Skills: Investigation
Watts eyed Belladonna for a moment, before nodding at her. She was the only one of them who was still a child, really. The subtle implication of her words - that she must have spent time in camps like these - broke his heart. Being a parent made him a more empathetic person. Belladonna was someone's child. He couldn't imagine - he didn't even dare to think of - Leda and Stephen being stuck in some horrid place like this, yearning for scraps of food. For a brief second, he could understand why Longshot kept on trying to help and save these people. But it faded as quickly as it came, replaced with irritation and annoyance that their guide wasn't even that great at getting out of Mojo's kingdom and staying out.

They had named Stephen after his maternal grandfather. Leda, however, had been named after a spartan queen. The myth ran that she had been seduced by Zeus in the form of a swan. She gave birth to his daughter, the most beautiful woman in the world who would spark the Trojan War. That name had been his wife's idea. Watts had wanted to call his daughter Penelope after his own mother. With a shudder, Watts realized he had been getting misty eyed, thinking about his children and he needed to refocus on the present. "The last time you escaped, how long until they came here?" Watts asked. He didn't care that Longshot had been captured three days ago. He wanted to know how long it took Mojo to come look here in the first place. It didn't make sense to him that this wouldn't be the first place Mojo would check.

Arthur decided to help with establishing a perimeter. He found it touching, Elara's insistence that they could inspire these people and lead them against Mojo. However, he wasn't certain if it would work. Rebellions were great ideas, yet they just didn't seem to happen all that often. He followed the directions that Longshot had indicated, heading to one of the lookout perches. His eyes were rather sharp - they had to be, as he was an archer.

He scrambled up the ladder and made his way out onto the open perch. Unfortunately, he didn't see much of anything at all. It just set him more on edge. What if Mojo was cloaking himself, deceiving their senses? What could they do? And when would Spiral show?

Ordinarily, the Hogwarts Express rarely made stops. It was only under extraordinary circumstances that the scarlet steam engine would come to a halt. Yet among those few instances, numbering less than a dozen, never before had the train been stopped entirely, its passengers forced to disembark and find an alternate means to travel to Hogwarts. There were too many students present for the professors to apparate them to and fro. Portkeys needed to be arranged in advance and even then, the large number of travelers was simply too much. Flying carpets were banned, only some of the students had broomsticks...

With a loud BANG, a triple decker bus appeared alongside the train. Painted entirely a rather vivid and harsh shade of purple, the Knight Bus was just about the only alternative transport Hogwarts was able to use for its students. Those who had been on the Knight Bus before would know that its seating options consisted of leather armchairs and beds - and that they provided free hot chocolate.

Lyra Burke's voice filled the air again. "Please gather your belongings and depart the train in a calm and orderly fashion. Headmaster Dumbledore has rented the services of the Knight Bus. It will take you to Hogsmeade Station and the hot chocolate is complimentary."

Outside the fogged windows of the train, the students would be able to see the chaperone that had gone along with the bus. He was a gigantic brute in appearance, easily the size of three or four men, with a beard so massive it could cover up a first year student. He was holding a small little black puppy that looked as big as a gerbil in comparison to its owner, as he waved at the train.

Compartment 13 -

Talbott let the silence hang in the compartment, shifting uncomfortably. He didn't talk about it much, but those in Ravenclaw House knew that he had been orphaned. His parents, both of them aurors, had been murdered by Death Eaters. His sneakoscope was still singing.

Andre was doing his best to look upbeat and not terrified, poking his head out of the compartment when he noticed a well cut gentleman with tasteful stubble coming down the corridor. "Wotcher, Zelda - is that your pops?" he asked her, looking back. A moment later, they got the update from the aurors - they needed to get off the train and load up onto the Knight Bus. Talbott's things were up at the front of the train and Andre's were across the corridor, so both of them would need to make a quick stop.

Hestia meowed up at Zelda, as if saying why hasn't Paige come back yet?

Location: Compartment 15 -> Compartment 13
Magic: N/A

Paige's cheeks were still red as Madalyne hugged her, but not from teenage hormones. Elizabeth's stunt with the exploding rat had gotten her covered in the guts and now, they were all over Madalyne too. "As well as can be expected. Elizabeth conjured up a new perfume - it's pretty grody," she said, gesturing at the rat bits. Barnaby was delicately picking them off of himself and placing them on his seat cushion in a neat little pile. He was awfully sensitive and fond of creatures, probably intending to give the poor little rat a funeral once its remains were gathered.

Chiara was a little more shy, but she smiled slightly at Madalyne's greeting. Beatrice, however, was more outspoken. "Nice to meet you!" Her sister was in the compartment, Chiara was safe and calm, everything was pretty much right in Beatrice's world. The green light and the train being stopped was scary, but she felt protected.

"Oh, thank you but, erm, I'm interested in someone else," Penny answered Elizabeth honestly. She tried her best to let people down easily - usually guys. The boys were always chasing after her, asking if she would accompany them on a Hogsmeade weekend. She didn't really fancy them, preferring to spend time brewing her potions rather than hanging with boys. The announcement from Lyra carried through the air. "My stuff is with Bea and Chiara's near the back. We left it with Bill Weasley and his little brother," Penny explained. "Erm, Fae, would you mind helping us carry some of it? I can probably levitate a few trunks, just worried I might need someone strong."

Barnaby looked a bit confused. "I thought I was the strong one..." he said, before he effortlessly picked up his trunk and such like they weighed as much as a feather.

"Don't play daft, I know you just like people complimenting your muscles, Barnaby," Paige said, rolling her eyes. She did like looking at Barnaby's muscles. "I'll see you lot on the Knight Bus? Avoid the hot chocolate. It'll just spill and you'll get burns," she advised, before she headed out of compartment 15 and moved to compartment 13, making it inside right before Frederick Flynn.

"I figured if we named it, no one would be tempted to just yeet the kid out of the window," Leda admitted. She was against killing baby monsters, but it wasn't exactly a subject that people went over at Camp Half-blood. No one went up and asked those sort of moral questions. She was relieved though to hear that both Zeke and Kristin did seem to agree with her - that they couldn't just kill a baby. Sure, monsters would reform eventually but she just couldn't kill an innocent because it might grow up to be, well, a monster.

The idea of going out of their way to South Carolina made Leda feel antsy though. "I don't think we can afford to backtrack... We're running out of time to save Calliope. I really don't think Apollo will be chuffed with us exactly if we fail... But my compass, it doesn't just give directions to a place... If you ask it a question, it'll point towards where we should go. So if you ask the compass where a good beach is to take this baby cyclops on our way, it'll hopefully figure it out."

Leda didn't know whether or not to be irritated by Zeke or Kristin. On one hand, she loved shouting at people to let others think and speak for themselves. She resonated very strongly with that. On the other hand, she preferred Kristin to Zeke. Zeke liked to trip her at super speed. Kristin didn't. Falling at super speed was very painful. She was still crying slightly, but the tears turned to laughter as Zeke burned the cyclops alive, killing it. She took a few steadying breaths, drying her eyes as best as she could. "I fucked up. I'm really sorry about that - I'm not exactly chuffed with myself..." she admitted, trying to calm down.

"No more Iris Messaging and driving," she promised, getting into the car. She was going to wait until her hands were steady before she tried to drive. She didn't want to get into another accident. The car wasn't in too bad shape, sure the back end was dented but it wasn't enough for them to be pulled over. Leda started to adjust the mirror when she froze, seeing what was in the back seat. "...Guys... Erm... There's a babe - a baby cyclops..." she gulped. "We can't kill it... Should we take it to the nearest beach or something, offer it to Poseidon? Maybe he'll take in Heracles into the Forges..."

She may or may not have already named it. Baby Heracles was super cute.

"If the crafts area doesn't have anything, Minerva's temple might," Nancy reasoned. She knew that back in the day in actual Rome, crafts guilds would use the temple of Minerva as a meeting destination. Minerva didn't have any demigod children, so she figured that arts and crafts might be the biggest pull for people to go visit her temple at Camp Jupiter too. Of course, it helped that in Roman mythology, the three most important gods - the Capitoline Triad - were Jupiter, Juno, and Minerva. "Yeah, putting the names would be rad! We could do it in, like, Latin or English or whatever you guys think is neat." She wasn't sure what her name would be in Latin.

Nancy finished off her food, putting all of her trash into one bag to consolidate things. "The screens on phones these days are so tiny... I don't understand how you use them, much less press those little buttons and text things," she complained. She was used to landlines - ones with cords. She hadn't even used a blackberry before. "But if you want Niah, I can swipe one and then you can use it? Do they have Internet or Google or whatever it's called?"

Leda almost wished that the cyclops would land a hit on her. She certainly felt like she deserved it, being relatively unscathed from the crash whereas Kristin, the annoying daughter of Athena, had gotten hurt. She didn't want others to pay for her actions. That wasn't fair. Her sword, Ultraviolet, continued to glow a faint shade of red. Kristin had managed to wound the cyclops in the knee and Zeke seemed to just be watching what was going on - and that was fine by her. She and Kristin had taken care of the cylopses in the old house while he was outside.

"You fucking bloody old git, just die already!!!" she screamed at the cyclops, bringing her sword down in an attempt to chop its head off, but she missed. The cyclops tried to hit her again, only to fail. Leda swung again, this time blinding it in the eye. "Urgh, you're such a piece of shit monster!" Leda raged.

Cardiff, Wales: February 14th, 2021 - 5:30 P.M.

Cardiff Castle...

Strange looked at Sparky, pity swelling up in his heart for her. He hadn't known her - yet he was familiar with Raynor. The Asgardian had been an irritating force in the Age of Ultron timeline, and while he had made the wrong choices, they were for the right reason. "Agent Sparks, if I may... If you have his hairbrush or comb, perhaps even his toothbrush, I can attempt to divine a location for you," Strange offered. "I would have to determine if there are any variations for Asgardians, yet the magic should be effective." That was all he could say at the moment.

He first made a portal underneath the skrull!Raynor body, placing it back onto the quinjet. Doctor Strange concentrated then, creating a gigantic portal underneath the quinjet, sending it to outside the prison. Sweat was trickling down his face as he closed it and made his last portal. "If anyone has a granola bar, that would be appreciated," he said, his stomach growling as he went on in, only closing it once everyone joined them.

HM Prison Cardiff...

The guards bought everything Tinley told them without a second thought. Perhaps it was from her talent when it came to bluffs and deception. Maybe they had seen the carnage outside and figured they weren't paid enough to die for their country if they said no. A few minutes later, a squad of seven guards returned with Thane di Angelo. He was incredibly hairy, easily seven feet tall, and was built like a boulder. "This is him, Ms. Peterson," one of the guards said. "Is your transport outside?"

Thane stared at her, a cocky smirk slowly coming up on his face. "Damn, you're prettier than the last lawyer, sis."

Bonnie Chase

Location: Outside HM Prison Cardiff
Skills: Jack of All Trades (Medicine), Perception, Intuition

Bonnie was confused as to why she hadn't died. She could account for the gashes on her face - her helmet had cracked during her fight with Corvus Glaive. The jagged edges cut open her face. The force from her being thrown backwards like a rag doll had broken her nose and caused the rapidly forming bruises all over her body. All of that was logical. She couldn't explain how Corvus had failed to snap her neck - or how she hadn't died from the impact. "That should have killed me.... This... this doesn't make sense," she murmured to Flynn. Her heart warmed seeing him.

Slowly, Bonnie worked herself up into a sitting position. Everything ached, but nothing was broken beyond her nose - and her ankle. She winced as she made the mistake of trying to put weight on it. The doctor refocused on Flynn for a moment, frowning as his injury jumped out at her. "Your knee - don't put weight on it. I'll need to take a look at it, give you some medicine for the pain until we can get Tempest here." Slowly, she used her good leg and her hands to push herself up off of the ground, raising into a standing position.

Something had happened to her - whatever that vision was... Bonnie had a feeling it was what was responsible for this. She'd need to run tests and diagnostics later. Tinley had already gone ahead into the prison. "We're not going to be able to win," she said quietly. Bonnie took her helmet off as carefully as she could, trying not to cut herself again on the jagged edges. The Terrigen Mist didn't hurt her anyways - she wasn't a mutant or an inhuman. It was safe, relatively speaking. "Not with brute strength... We'll have to trick them."

She yelped a bit in surprise as the quinjet dropped in out of nowhere, followed by Strange and the others.
