⚡John Watts⚡ and 🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Mojoworld - Hobo Camp
Skills: N/A
Watts shook his head slightly, infuriated that someone without any work ethic at all had been the one to capture them and turn them into children. It made it all the more insulting. If Mojo was in no rush to capture them, maybe he was thinking of some way to turn this into a television program as well - tonight only at ABC Central, the wonder kids run loose in Mojoworld! Longshot's fatalistic viewpoint on the never ending cycle was heartbreaking. However, that didn't stop Watts from making a bit of an ass of himself with his next suggestion - "Why not give up then? The only way to break the cycle is to try something different. You can't save them, so save yourself."

Spiral finally decided to make an appearance. Watts frowned deeply as she explained their choices. She didn't really have a way to get them out of Mojoworld at the moment. She could potentially have a magical remedy for their smallness - or they could go back and use Mojo's machine to fix it. Andrew was better off as a small child from what he figured, but the rest of them weren't. How could Watts be a good father to his children if he was stuck as a pipsqueak? And lastly, the people responsible for all of this in his opinion, the Sisterhood, were somewhere on Mojoworld. Casey came back, reporting a ship was nearby. "What if we offered Mojo a trade? We apprehend the Sisterhood and give them over to him, in exchange for us - minus Andrew - being made adults again and sent back to Earth." He didn't care if Mojo tortured the Sisterhood by making them his playthings. They deserved it.

Arthur hadn't seen much of anything from his perch, yet he was able to hear the conversation the others were having. The news that the Sisterhood were here, alive, made his blood boil. He hated Watts' suggestion of trading them with Mojo. The Sisterhood needed to burn in hell and suffer for their crimes... Arthur didn't want to show them even a single ounce of mercy. "Like hell are we letting the Sisterhood live," Arthur growled, rejoining the others. "They have failed this world - our world - and they deserve to rot in hell for that."

"I say we get to that machine, break out, and then go kill some Sisterhood scum," he said bluntly. He didn't care if it was beyond the appetite of those present. He had a chance again to avenge his father's death - a chance to write some wrongs and cross these names off of the List once and for all. If the others weren't going to help him, it didn't matter. He could kill the Sisterhood without their help, he was certain of it.

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

Location: Merlin's Warehouse
Skills: N/A

Megan frowned, wondering what help the two of them could really be for a moment. Her brother was a detective and she was a medical examiner. She then slapped herself mentally. While she was proficient in autopsies, she wasn't entirely defenseless. She never had been a fan of guns, yet she loved the elegant artistry of swordplay. She had fenced all throughout college and medical school. "Do you have a small sword? Or a rapier?" Megan asked. Fencing was meant to train people to go onto use small swords or rapiers. Unfortunately, a foil was essentially harmless.

Her brother mentioned going straight to fight Maleficent now. Perhaps it was foolish of her, but she agreed. "Sure, let's go kill the wicked witch of the west," she murmured. For a split second, she wondered if the green terror was really real as well. Was there a limit to the sort of stories that were true? Or was every story in their world a manifestation of the history in another? Would Harry Potter come out to play next, hand in hand with Anakin Skywalker?

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Amtrak - Washington State
Skills: N/A

Nancy had a brief image of them taking the fangs and making them into rings - she had heard of rings before that concealed little poison spikes. Those sounded pretty rad. Of course, she also liked the idea of adding a collection of items to these hypothetical (and increasingly dangerous) friendship bracelets. She liked Madalyne's idea too of just making a poison out of the fangs - she pictured Madalyne with a cauldron with bubbling fumes, dropping them in one at a time while chanting in Latin or some other dead language. "'Course we're a badass team. I'm here," Nancy joked, sticking her tongue out slightly.

The train was moving once again, meaning they were safe from monsters until the next stop most likely. Of course, monsters weren't the only things demigods encountered on quests - gods tended to come and poke their noses into things too. "But since we're such an awesome team, I think it's time we ask revealing questions of each other. Super serious stuff. So, Niah... What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? And why isn't it rocky road?"

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: RV Camp - Atlanta, Georgia
Skills: Greek Mythology

Leda shot a bit of a glare at Zeke as he called them five year olds. She had just spent over five hours straight driving, while Kristin and Zeke just got to chill in the car. She was exhausted and starving - and she did not want to deal with changing a stinky diaper. "Apollo's the god of medicine, right? I think diapers are covered under that," she said. They didn't have much choice though when it came to bringing baby Heracles along - they couldn't just kill him, he was a baby, and they similarly couldn't just abandon him on the side of the road.

"Urgh, do not get me started on bloody periods... I swear, if I get mine on this quest, I'll go positively mental." Kristin had found supplies for the baby and Leda glanced in the direction of the pond, her heart skipping a beat as she spotted a naiad leaving the water. They couldn't go too far from the water. Maybe the naiad would be able to pass the baby along to Poseidon or some other kind god in the ocean. "There's a naiad - I'll go talk to her, see if she can take the babe," Leda explained quickly.

She moved from the truck over to the pond, waving and smiling at the naiad. "Hey, my name's Leda, daughter of Iris... Any chance you could do me a favor? We've got a babe cyclops that needs a home, we were hoping to get him to the sea to his dad..."
Clio

"Me will accepten da mula and getsa yousa an audience wit Rotta," Skoc-Skoc replied dreamily, as if in a trance. "Dee thousand mula," he declared.

Clio frowned deeply. She knew that her sister had used the Force on the gungan in order to make him cooperate, but even then, a thousand credits was a lot. Ten thousand credits could buy you a decent landspeeder, after all. They only had a hundred credits set aside for the bribery portion of getting an audience with Rotta - the rest they needed in order to purchase the freedom for his slave. "Fifty credits," Clio countered.

Skoc-Skoc glared at her. "Ninee hundred mula!" he demanded. "And me won't gos any more low!"

Clio waved her hand in front of the gungan's face. "You're going to accept a hundred credits. You're happy to do this for us. And you're going to get us an audience with Rotta." Her sister wasn't the only one sensitive with the Force. It helped that Skoc-Skoc wasn't a highly intelligent being, causing just the slightest use of the Force to be suitable for getting what they desired.

"Me will take a hundred mula. Me am smilin. Me will getsa yousa an audience wit Rotta," Skoc-Skoc said. Clio slid fifty credits across the table. He took them and shoved them into his pockets.

"You'll receive the rest when we go see Rotta."

🐺 Asha Jabari 🐺

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Lounge -> Reception
Skills: N/A

Asha still wasn't really used to dying yet, despite being an einherjar for a few decades now. She knew that it was supposed to get easier with time, not even frightening eventually. She still felt terror when the light faded from her own eyes and she never quite relaxed until she reappeared in her room at the hotel. She didn't doubt the All-Father - Odin, her father - with his promise that they were immortal within the bounds of the hotel. Maybe it was just her human half, rather than the godly part, terrified at the prospect of not existing... or maybe always existing? "Got it, Klarence," Asha said, winking a bit at Klara.

She then followed Arnora's gaze, hearing the verbal abuse Helgi was giving off at poor Hunding. "Ugh, honestly it's kinda grody that Helgi's allowed to just... just belittle Hunding all he pleases," she commented. Asha then made up her mind, determined to help Hunding - or at least get him a bit of a reprieve. She walked through the lounge down the hallway and emerged in the reception area. "Helgi, I require your services at once." She winked discretely at Hunding.

Cardiff, Wales: February 14th, 2021 - 5:50 P.M.

Location: Outside HM Prison Cardiff -> Hangar - the Hub
Skills: N/A

The guards were too morose to really question why Matt had shoved the helmet on Thane's head as they exited the prison, emerging into what was essentially a battlefield soaked in the blood of their fallen coworkers. Yes, they worked at a prison but even then, they didn't head into work expecting to die. They complained about their job just like anyone else, eventually even becoming numb to the dangers. This was too sobering of an experience.

"Says the man with a shattered knee," Bonnie argued to Flynn. The gashes on her face weren't too deep - the blood had largely stopped flowing. Tempest had come on through the portal Strange created with the others and once Tempest had seen to those with more serious conditions, Bonnie figured she could ask for a quick patch up. Sparky swayed and fell to the ground unconscious, barely caught in time by Maria. They needed to get Sparky stabilized fast.

"We have ways of bypassing the skin - a needle through the eye. It won't be fun, but it'll do the trick and there won't be lasting damage to your optic tissue," she explained to Cass. Oliver was taking a phone call and Bonnie hadn't seen Tinley emerge from the prison yet, but there was no time to waste. She'd let herself be chewed out later for this. She'd rather break the chain of command than let innocent people suffer. "Strange, transport us all back to the Hub in San Fransisco. We have facilities there capable of holding Thane and shielding that should help against the Black Order, when or if they return... The virology team can work on Cass and Sparky. I'll call in a favor, get Sparky a transfusion of blood from the J. Howlett stash."

Strange nodded. "Of course, Agent Chase - happy to oblige," he said. He walked up to Thane and began muttering some ancient words, as magical glowing chains formed around him. "We can take it from here," he promised the guards, as Strange seemingly flicked Thane. Thane's image flickered and he rematerialized in the holding cell on the quinjet.

He then worked expertly with his sling ring - one by one, he got all of the agents onto the quinjet. Once they were all assembled, he created a large portal underneath the quinjet that led to the hangar in the Hub. The quinjet fell on through and suddenly, they were in San Fransisco. It was mid morning, about 9:50 A.M. to be precise. "I'll establish some warding to hide you all from the Black Order, yet if they reappear I will leave to face them in combat," Strange warned.

Bonnie hobbled over to a side compartment in the quinjet, producing a floating stretcher. She shoved it through the air over to Maria. "Put Sparky on this and get her to the labs ASAP. I need to make a call." She then pulled out her phone and went to her favorites in the contact list, dialing up her favorite forensic technician.

"Niah? I need you to get me a vial of J. Howlett. It's for Sparky. Life or death. And then meet us at virology, Cass is the cure."

NPC Locations -

  • Talbott Winger was seated in the top front, alone.
  • Andre Egwu was looking for a place to sit on the top deck.
  • Penny and Beatrice Haywood, Chiara Lobasca, Bill and Charlie Weasley, and Nymphadora Tonks were all still on the Hogwarts Express, trying to get their luggage off and onto the Knight Bus.
  • Barnaby Lee was sitting with Hagrid in the front of the bottom deck, having an enthusiastic conversation about Hagrid's new puppy.
  • Merula Snyde, Ismelda Murk, and the rest of Merula's gang were seated in the center of the middle deck, glancing over at the back and snickering.
  • The Head Boy and Head Girl were outside of the Knight Bus, helping startled first years get their belongings off of the train.

Location: Hogwarts Express: Compartment 13 -> the Knight Bus: Top Center
Magic: Pocket Sneakoscope, Charms

"Honestly, Zelds, this isn't even the weirdest stuff you've seen me covered in," Paige pointed out with a shrug. She blinked a few times after Zelda used the Scouring Charm on her, now smelling faintly of lavender soap. Her ginger hair gleamed in the light and her clothes didn't have a speck of dirt on them. If anything, Paige felt a bit too clean. She was a messy person by nature, always willing to get down into the muck, and that tended to mean she never was entirely spotless.

Zelda's father must not have seen her covered in rat guts - that or he didn't say a word. Paige didn't really care. Once when she had been at Zelda's house, she came back inside covered in mud and gravel. Only Zelda's sister seemed to really mind. "We're sitting on the top, right?" Paige confirmed with Zelda.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" Paige cast, her wand aimed at her luggage. She picked up Hestia and held her securely with one hand, her wand with the other. It was a bit of a nightmare getting off of the train - Andre and Talbott had slipped out to get their own things - what with everyone either lugging their belongings or sending them flying through the air. Paige beamed as she saw Hagrid. She rather liked him, even if he was incredibly dim witted.

"Oh my gosh, Hagrid has a new puppy!" she squealed to Zelda, as they got onto the Knight Bus. Paige hurried up the spiral staircase of sorts until they reached the top deck and she moved towards the back, as everyone knew the raddest kids sat back there. She stopped abruptly in the center however, seeing that Elizabeth was in the back. "So... What do you reckon Death Eaters were doing on the train?" she added, her tone changing to a more serious one. Her sneakoscope had ceased making noise ever since they got onto the Knight Bus. She gently lowered her luggage to the ground by her seat - it was more of an armchair than an ordinary bus seat.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Amtrak - Centennial Train Station
Skills: N/A

She heard the gorgon she had attacked rush into dust. Nancy hadn't stabbed at her a second time, so she deduced that either Niah or Madalyne must have taken care of it. Then, a moment later, Madalyne gave the all clear - the crisis had been dealt with. Nancy opened her eyes and sheathed her imperial gold daggers, placing them away. She didn't know what Madalyne had convinced the mortals they had seen - maybe they thought Nancy was armed with two bananas - but it didn't matter that much in the long run. She took her seat again.

"Take that, universe - going to take a whole lot more to get us off the train," Nancy tried to joke. She regretted it almost as soon as she said it. The Fates probably were going to make their lives a lot harder because of that. But then again, they had tricked a chimera, killed werewolves with Cherry Bomb, and just turned some gorgons into confetti. They were on an upswing in the quest and as long as they didn't leave the train, they'd be able to make it to Mount Rushmore in no time.

Location: Hallway -> Atrium
Skills: N/A
Had she not been in a complete oh-my-god-robot-zombies-are-here-and-going-to-eat-us panic, Vinnie probably would've been able to appreciate Sophia trying to calm her down. Instead as Sophia put a comforting hand on her, all Vinnie could think about was what if Sophia was also one of these gross green zombies? Would the ginger explode and cover her in her gooey guts? Would some of it go into her mouth? Her stomach threatened to upchuck at that very thought. She couldn't imagine the goop tasted like green apple candy - probably more like dirt slug rot semen surprise.

Vinnie swallowed thickly, before looking in the direction Kyle pointed. Her eyes widened and she completely forgot how horrified and disgusted and queasy she was feeling. "Holy shit..." she said again, this time filled more with awe and astonishment. "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto." The planet they were looking at looked more like the moon than the Earth, but the coloring was all wrong. She didn't see anything that looked like the massive oceans that spanned the globe and it wasn't grey enough to be the moon. "Wait, you said space! You're probably one of them... whoever them is!" Vinnie yelped, before running away from Sophia and hiding behind Kyle.

A flash of panic and fear crossed Raynor's face, before he managed to get his expression under control again. "There's an easy way to figure out who is one of them... They bleed green. I'm assuming we bleed red. So how about we find a utensil from the food court area and see about ruling out any further surprises?" he suggested, though his gaze was fixed firmly on the planet, rather than the others.
