⚡John Watts⚡ and 🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Mojoworld - Hallway
Skills: Superspeed, Hand to Hand Combat, Molecular Oscillation, Archery
Arthur nodded at Sapphire, shuddering as she froze his injury. He had done a lot of things on Krakoa to tend to his wounds, yet focused freezing was never one of them. More officers appeared and Arthur shook his head slightly, trying to focus on the fight in front of them and not how Sapphire's hair gently cascaded onto her shoulders. Fortunately, the universe provided one hell of a distraction. Not too long after Andrew (who apparently wasn't a vegetable anymore) blasted the guards down, the gates of hell opened and the Sisterhood arrived. Arthur's focus sharpened drastically. He was filled with bloodlust and a desire for vengeance.

He barely registered as Sapphire slammed into him and sent him to the ground. He took her hand and stood back up. "Pryor is MINE," he told the group. She had to pay with her head for his father's death. She had to get what she deserved. The others could take care of the rest of the Sisterhood, but he wanted to lop off the head of the beast. He sent five arrows flying at Pryor, all of them designed to be kill shots. He hit her twice in the right shoulder - one of his shots missed and the other two Pryor stopped telekinetically. Arthur didn't even breathe before he repeated the routine again, getting largely the same result except he shot her twice in the left leg this time.

Watts had been shocked and extremely thrilled to see that Andrew could talk and at least aim appropriately. At this rate, he anticipated Andrew would make a full recovery. He didn't even care that a bullet had grazed him. The injury was minor anyways. The Sisterhood then showed up and Watts couldn't help but laugh slightly. The universe really wanted them to check everything off of the to-do list at once. He was flung backwards and landed in a heap with Evelyn, begrudgingly accepting her help to get up. "Let's kill these bitches," he said simply.

Casey had already attacked Gardner, but that didn't stop Watts. His entire body began to vibrate as he rushed forward, phasing his hand into Gardner's chest as he tried to grab her heart. The organ slipped from his grip on the way out. And while it was still within her chest, he definitely had done significant damage to her internal systems - organs weren't supposed to just be forcefully moved around after all. Gardner collapsed to the ground, out for the count, leaving just Pryor and Deathstrike. He didn't feel like getting into an argument with the archer, so he turned onto Deathstrike next.

"If we want to blow it up, can't we just get a lighter and some alcohol?" Vinnie asked. She was fairly certain that was how things worked in movies. And they already knew for a fact that the vending machine of requirement could dispense any sort of alcohol they needed. "Oh, wait, gasoline! If we get enough gasoline, that'll definitely explode! Or at least catch on fire and smell really bad... Or maybe the machine can make a grenade? And we just need to count to three and roll it over here?" Vinnie proposed. She scratched that off the mental list of possible occupations she could have had - demolitions expert. It was becoming increasingly hard for Vinnie to figure out what she was good at. Everyone else seemed to know something. Maybe she worked as a secretary or an assistant or something. She groaned at the thought.

"Wait, what now? I sound familiar?" Vinnie's eyes widened. She had no idea what to make of that. "I'm pretty sure I've never seen you guys before in my life. Wait, actually, I'm wrong. Sophia seems a bit familiar, I guess? But that could just be from the emotional whiplash of thinking she's cool now after deciding she was a space zombie infiltrator set out to destroy us and eat our brains. Oh! And Cal. I have a flash of you in my head? Like I've seen you before? Do you think the two of us maybe... had a musical montage in a Chili's maybe?" Vinnie rambled. "Or maybe a Wendy's or a Dairy Queen? I don't think I was the sort of person for an office job. Maybe I could have worked at a hardware store. And been all like - this wood is bad. Don't buy it! and stuff?"

Raynor shook his head. He wished that he had brought a screwdriver drink with him to the atrium. Vinnie's voice was starting to give him a headache. "Actually, Kyle, I think I've seen you climb," Raynor interjected into the conversation. "As for whoever is behind this, I don't care if they picked people who knew each other. I care that we kill them and get the hell out of here."

He put on the communicator device that Zarina had given him, not admitting that he was a little worried for the kid. She had crawled on in without a second glance. They probably should have tied a rope around her waist or something so they could pull her out quickly. "Testing, testing, kid can you hear me?" Raynor said. He must have had too much rum. There was no response. It took him a moment before he realized the thing wasn't actually on and he casually reached up, twisting a knob on the headset. He was trying to make it look like he was just adjusting the volume and hadn't actually forgotten to turn the thing on first.

That was one thing he knew about himself - he was prideful as hell.

"Testing again, one, two, three, kid can you hear me?"

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor Five
Skills: N/A

Runa was getting horrible vibes from Elizabeth. Not only did the girl with the surname Flame have flames for eyes, she commented on her reaction being interesting like some sort of psychopath. Nadia was nicer than Runa would have been, stooping down and healing Elizabeth's wounds. Runa couldn't help but be a bit stunned, seeing the injury fade away as if Runa hadn't hit Elizabeth with her staff. Everything had been so bizarre so far, yet the small simple act of real magic was breathtaking. It was more real and vibrant than anything she had been able to do through wicca, which largely amounted to setting intentions and hoping the universe would provide. She blushed as Klara praised her for her hit.

"Pennies?" Runa asked, a bit confused. She had no idea what sort of currency that was - maybe it was some sort of precious gem they used as money here. In Norway, they used kroner and øre, although the øre were only used digitally. The øre was just too small a currency to really warrant using in day to day life. "Erm, yes... Armor would be nice," Runa said quietly. The gift shop / Viking IKEA layout wasn't too difficult to navigate and she went to the armor aisle. She spotted one piece of armor that didn't look half bad and when she picked it up, it transformed into a leather jacket and her eyes widened in shock. She slipped off her ripped black army jacket and put on the leather jacket, finding that it fit her perfectly.

She felt a bit guilty, keeping the secret of what she had seen on her way in from Nadia and Klara. They were both super sweet and helpful. Maybe once they were somewhere more private, without crazy girls with flames for eyes, she would share what she had seen.

The Kingdom of Attilan - the Moon: February 14th, 2021 - 11:50 A.M.

Dominika Novikova and Bonnie Chase

Location: the Ruins of Attilan
Skills: Blessing of Athena, Intuition, Earth Manipulation

The last twenty minutes were a blur. Sparky made a near perfect Life Model Decoy of Oliver, although the machine was unable to mimic his power of superspeed. It could communicate and approximate responses Oliver would have given with only 22% error, fairly impressive given the short time Sparky had had to prepare it. The news reports indicated that the attacks in Cardiff had ceased. Thanos and the Black Order must have accepted Oliver's challenge. Doctor Strange had used the Time Stone as promised in the laboratory, speeding up the process as he manipulated the time stream and produced the first batch of M-Pox cures. There were only five and he gave the first of these to Sparky, meaning the team would be at full strength in the final battle. Cass flew the quinjet this time and they touched down outside the ruins of Attilan's palace.

"Freddie?" Bonnie caught Flynn's attention softly. She wasn't going to pretend they weren't heading into an incredibly dangerous situation. They had barely made it out of the first fight against the Black Order. It could have easily just been beginner's luck that they were still alive. "After we get back to Earth... I'm inviting you to spend the night in my room," she said quietly, so only he could hear. She hadn't let him spend the night with her before - and by that, she meant actually sleeping, not making the beast with two backs. Sparky had had Raynor ripped away from her. Bonnie was done wasting the time she had with Flynn. They could both be dead within the hour after all.

This time around, everyone was already in protective suits and gear, so there were no unexpected terrigenesis events as they disembarked the quinjet. Bonnie still couldn't help but marvel at Attilan. It was a functioning civilization - or at least, it had been before the Black Order came around - on the Moon. The inhumans had figured out how to contain an atmosphere within a bubble of sorts, meaning that the air (albeit laced with terrigen) was breathable. The architecture on the fallen structures strongly implied how impressive and regal the city must have looked. Her heart sank, realizing that more than buildings had fallen. Hundreds of thousands of people were dead here.

"If this doesn't work, I'm blaming you," Novikova told Oliver bluntly. She didn't like him. He had taken her job. Novikova knew logically that she had been fired and Oliver had been assigned to fill the vacancy, but her emotions liked the version where Oliver was a villain better. The narrative suited him being the son of Thanos and the idiot who had nearly given her wife M-Pox after all. If the Black Order hurt Maria at all, Novikova would be the first one to throw Oliver over to the enemy. She wouldn't even blink.

"If the plan fails, the Black Order will kill Oliver. They will then have no reason to threaten Earth any further," Doctor Strange pointed out a bit coldly. The necklace he wore around his neck with the green stone had seemingly vanished. "I cannot risk having the Eye out with Thanos so near... I've sent it to another dimension for safekeeping."

"Lovely. And here they come," Novikova said. A massive ship entered the upper atmosphere. Its immense shadow blotted out the sun, sending all of Attilan into darkness. The protective suits started to glow like flashlights though, so the team wasn't blind at least. A tractor beam of sorts appeared from the ship and then suddenly, four women materialized a good thirty feet away from them. One of them was Proxima Midnight. The three others were new - one with pale white skin and hair, one with green skin and red hair, one with blue skin, a bionic arm, and a bionic eye.

Bonnie paled slightly, relieved and scared that Thanos wasn't among them. She had been so certain that he would come to face Oliver. Something clicked in her head though. Thanos hadn't come earlier either. And in the news, Cardiff was under attack from a ship - not from the Mad Titan himself. Thanos was intentionally avoiding the conflict. He wanted Oliver gone desperately because of the prophecy... he was afraid. "Oliver, Thanos is afraid of you. He won't come to face you, he won't risk it," Bonnie concluded. "He's terrified that if you come anywhere near him, he'll die."

"Gee, thanks, Agent Obvious," Novikova rolled her eyes.

"We're here for Thane - and my spear," Proxima Midnight told the agents.

"Personally, I'd rather a fight - I'm bored," the blue one complained.

The green girl rolled her eyes, filing her nails on her sword. Its blade glinted menacingly. "They're terrans, Nebula. They don't know how to do much other than drink and fight."

"She's right," the white haired one added.

Proxima Midnight held up her hands. "You've convinced me. Let's kill them all and then obliterate their pathetic planet. In the name of death! In the name of sorrow! In the name of chaos and war! In the name of Thanos! HUNT AND KILL!" She had a new lance in her hands, electricity moving up and down the weapon like a snake.

Proxima Midnight charged forward, targeting Matt. Her aim was perfect and true, only suddenly the rock beneath her feet jutted upwards and sent Proxima flying up into the air. She landed on her feet gracefully a good ten feet behind Matt. Novikova smirked. "Sorry, I didn't realize we were doing solo fights."

The white haired warrior - Black Swan - went after Tinley. She levitated up into the air (or artificial atmosphere, really), her white hair fluttering around her. Her black eyes turned red and emitted beams of plasma, not unlike the X-Men Cyclops. These beams slammed into Tinley. They were so intense they penetrated the safety of the suit and severed Tinley's left leg clean. The evil Supergirl yawned slightly.

Nebula set her sights on Bonnie, picking her out as the least physically imposing agent. While she looked like a cyborg, Nebula still had some weapons that weren't part of her body. She had wrist mounted blasters that had managed to stun the Silver Surfer before. She fired these off at the blonde S.H.I.E.L.D. agent without remorse. Yet as the beams charged towards her, it was like the adrenaline enhanced Bonnie's reflexes. She dodged out of the way and the beams hit the lunar surface behind her, kicking up dust and rocks as Nebula accidentally created a new crater.

Gamora decided to get straight to the point. With her sword drawn, she approached Oliver - yet she didn't attack him. She waited for him to accept the challenge, to duel her to the death. "I'm your sister, Gamora," she introduced herself. "You can surrender and I'll kill you painlessly. Or you can fight to the death and I'll kill you all the same."

Guin Stark

Location: the Reception
Skills: Stamina, Agility, Unarmed Combat, Telepathy (Mental Link)
Guin missed having Cass by her side - while Black Widow had been the one to teach Guin to fight, Cass had been her mentor at S.H.I.E.L.D. She had been one of the first people to see Guin's potential outside of who her father was, someone willing to let Guin test herself out in the field rather than holding her back where it was safe. "How about you send him to the middle of the Sun? It's a big fiery ball of gas just like him," Guin suggested to Bethany. She doubted it would actually kill Magneto, he had been alive for ages now and it seemed almost impossible for him to die. Still, she liked the idea and the image of Magneto screaming in agony as the Sun roasted him was nice.

Go. It's okay, I've got this - and if you do leave, go get me some deep dish from Chicago? I'm craving it. She shot a slight smile over towards her husband. She wasn't going to ask him to stay here and face his abuser. Pietro had to pick what was right for him, just as Guin had to decide what was right for her. And right now, what was right for her was smacking the hell out of Magneto. Besides, it could be a fun bonding activity for Wanda and her, as Wanda seemed to be ready to rip Magneto's spine out through his ass.

She snorted as Iris dubbed Magneto Metallica. Iris was really growing on her - she made a mental note to ask Iris to watch Avatar with her and drink when she got back from the honeymoon. She also had a decent point about Wolverine. They really should have hired someone better to run security - even Morph would've been a better choice!

The bits of metal floating around her didn't scare her at all, likely due to some sort of bridezilla induced adrenaline. She ducked and bobbed around the pieces of metal and weaved until she was on the other side of the barricade that Miranda had made - Magneto's wife (at least in the world Wanda constructed). She was face to face with the master of magnetism. "I'm a New Yorker, I kicked your ass before and I'll do it again. You were asked to leave - not going to ask again, you fucking asshole!"

Guin then tried to kick him in the nuts, figuring she would do the world a favor and ruin Magneto's baby maker before he knocked up some other girl, but he dodged. She didn't let that deter her though, putting the foot she had kicked with down and she used the momentum to kick her other leg high into the air, kicking Magneto in the face. As she planted her foot, she then swung with her fist, clipping his helmet slightly (damn it that hurt like hell!) before connecting with his nose. She looked up with satisfaction as Magneto was bleeding, ignoring the throbbing pain in her wrist. "I can do this all day, motherfucker."

Neil Spellman

Location: the Reception
Skills: Telekinesis
Neil was horrified as Magneto surrounded most of the team with bits and pieces of metal. He didn't buy Magneto's speech about how he had been attacked first and didn't mean any harm - this was Magneto after all. His presence basically guaranteed chaos, strife, death, and destruction. He gulped, frantically trying to come up with a way to help his team, as the bride went out of her way to step in front of Magneto, leaving the protection of the barrier one of the wedding guests had made. "W-what do we do?" he stammered to Sara, his voice hardly above a whisper. He thanked his lucky stars that Magneto hadn't tugged out his hearing aids. Neil wanted to be able to hear everything, to at least get a chance to brace himself for what was coming.

It then occurred to him there was something he could do. Magneto wasn't the only one who could tug on pieces of metal. Neil realized that trying to push the pieces away now would be futile, just as it had been when he tried to remove Magneto's helmet. He began to concentrate, focusing on all of the pieces suspended around the team, until he was telekinetically ready to act. He was going to save up all of his strength and the second Magneto tried to use the metal to attack, he would use his powers to block it - to be a shield.

Shaw Industries Building: Garage -

There was a nondescript black car waiting for them in the garage, complete with a driver. The driver's head was covered in eyeballs, his chest in noses, and there were mouthes on his feet. He was the sort of mutant that would fall in with the Morlocks, unable to live in normal society. Yet his worth to the Hellfire Club was readily apparent - he had a hundred hands. He was quite literally a handy man.

"Do you think Jinx would have liked this?" Pyro asked morosely, popping his bubblegum in the back seat of the car. Polaris sat down next to him, leaving the shotgun seat available for Ana next to the driver.

Polaris ignored Pyro's plight. She wasn't stupid and it was apparent that Ana wasn't thrilled she was leading this little job. "If you have a problem with me, go ahead. But you and I both know that you only received the title White Queen and not the position," Polaris said bluntly. "Franko, we need to go to George Washington University - quickly."

The driver nodded, the car pulling out of the garage and onto the street once everyone was seated and buckled.

"No killing anyone, that's rule one. We're going to find the scientists and extract them. Knock them unconscious if we have to. If we run into anyone, knock them out. We have to be clean here. Before we leave, we'll put some sort of tag on the building for the Brotherhood or maybe the Mutant Liberation Front, so that way the humans have a boogeyman."

Pyro pouted. "No killing? Laaaaame."

Veil

Location: George Washington University: the Street
Skills: Invisible Energy Manipulation
Feedback's ruse worked - the officers got back into their cars and drove off, reassured that specialists would be coming to handle the ruckus. Most of the bystanders had fled the area by now, leaving largely just the Mutant Underground and the Purifiers out to play. Some of the bystanders though were standing in the doorways of various establishments on the streets, filming what was going on - no doubt this would all go viral later that day. One girl with a puff of thick hair made an X with her fingers, before reaching down and grabbing a brick and throwing it at one of the Purifiers.

"I'm fine, luv, really," Leda protested to Sapphire. She had been dazed at first, but she was quickly coming into a second wind, likely fueled by pure adrenaline as she had been shot. Her skin started to glow every color of the rainbow and then some as Leda broke the zip ties that had been restraining her hands. "But I'll get your friend out of here," she then conceded. Secretly, Leda was glad that Sapphire was there. She had always had a crush on Sapphire as a kid - she was, in fact, the reason Leda knew that she was fabulously queer. Leda put her arms around Waverley and tried to fly up into the sky, but it put too much strain on her injury.

"Actually... Can you walk, luv?" she asked Feedback. The three purifiers near them were frozen, but there were still plenty of mutant haters in the area out for blood. Stabberson was long gone now. Bullets went flying towards them and Leda yelped, reflexively sending out a blast of rainbow light that stopped the bullets before it would have hit the pair.

The three living disarmed purifiers ganged up on Sapphire, swinging punches and missing. "You mutie scum, why don't you go back where you came from?!?!?!" One of them got lucky, sucker punching Sapphire in the gut - that was definitely going to bruise. However, her assailant fell to the ground, a bullet hole in the back of his head.

"She's from Hawaii," Watts growled at the dead man, a gun in his hand. He rushed over to his daughter, freaked out and relieved at the same time. "Damn it Leda you aren't ready for this! Come on, we need to get to safety NOW!" The other two Purifiers near Sapphire fell to the ground as well, green arrows in their necks.

A Purifier shot at Echo and missed, the bullet going wide over his head. Cayden wasn't nearly as lucky. The Purifiers saw that he had sent a majority of their force to sleep and they fired on him, hitting him in the throat. It was a miracle that he was still alive, but he wouldn't be able to talk. And if no one gave him medical attention and fast, he'd bleed out before they could reach the Mutant Underground. A Purifier grabbed Kristina by the hair and slammed her down into the concrete. "Fucking mutie!" they growled at her, before kicking her repeatedly in the stomach. Havok took another bullet to the arm as he got a shot off, taking out two Purifiers.

Some more Purifiers had arrived on the scene. There were eight left alive and fighting - all of them armed.

"I'm Veil, I'm with the Mutant Underground - I'm here to help," Veil informed the green haired girl quickly. The display of violence against the Purifiers didn't surprise her, a lot of mutants lately had taken to direct confrontation and attacks as mutant-human tensions worsened. It didn't help that the X-Men were too busy to do much to help - but then again, they always were. No, what surprised her was the girl going on about the Valkyries. She had no idea what those were. Maybe they were some sort of rogue mutant group?

There were three Purifiers right in front of Veil and Zarina and they opened fire, one of them throwing a molotov cocktail. Veil threw up a massive bubble barrier around them, her force field keeping her and the girl from harm. A few years ago, Veil might have pointed out to the Purifiers that Zarina was just a kid. But she knew that appealing to compassion and empathy with these people was futile. She tried throwing a force field at them to knock them to the ground, but it was weak and the Purifiers remained standing.

A Purifier jumped on Andy, knocking her to the ground as he began to viciously beat on her head with brass knuckles.

Casper and Sunshine

Location: Mutant Friendly Clinic
Skills: Mediumship
"It is just a cold! I am completely fine! Headaches are normal for colds. And so is feeling tired. I'm pretty sure feeling tired impacts millions of Americans each day... Hey, Jackie, if you aren't going to use your good stuff, I can take it off your hands," Casper offered, making puppy dog eyes at his brother. It wasn't like Jack could appreciate a good opioid anyways - his brother he was fairly certain had never gotten high before in his life. He could make do with some of the less pure stuff sold on the streets, cut with whatever was on hand - Casper, though, was a narcotics connoisseur. He could enjoy the pure, uncut drugs provided by Doctor Chan unlike anyone else in the room.

"Is it just me or has Max or Warlock or whoever gotten creepier? I swear, it's like he wants to be a part of you and James' sex life..." Ben commented, shaking his head slightly. Casper turned the page of the magazine again for Ben and the ghost shut up, completely fixated on the words on the page.

"You're right Ben, I think Max is trying to make my sex life with James into a triangle," Casper agreed. Of course, he was still a bit tempted to take Max up on the offer of a uniform with handcuffs. As long as he didn't have to look Max in the eyes or be around him too long, he could handle getting some supplies from him. Their other option was going to GoodWill and the last time Casper had gotten a costume there, he ended up with a rash down there that smelled like pasta sauce and burned for weeks.

Sunshine turned her head, looking at Max. Her eyes narrowed. She imagined taking an arrow from her quiver and throwing it into Max's left eye, twisting it around, and pulling it back out. She was pretty sure that human eyeballs were edible - they probably had a good source of protein in them. Maybe they could be grilled or something. Or smoked. "The only way I would be friends with you, Max, would be if Apollo came down from the heavens and told me I had to or I'd have to fuck Zeus in front of Hera. And even then, it'd be a hard choice," Sunshine told Max bluntly, venom in her words. "And my parents are none of your business, got it, Nazi Boy?"

Her mother had kicked her out when her mutant powers manifested - Sunshine had just been a preschooler. Her father had been dragged through time back to September 2020 before she had even been born. It was a complicated story and Sunshine didn't feel she needed to explain it to Max. She didn't care if the others at the Mutant Underground knew, as they were her family. She glanced at James and shrugged slightly. She hadn't really tried to ignore Max and let things go - but she didn't care. Max was like M-Pox, something that no one wanted around but seemed determined to stay and kill as many people she cared about as possible.

"Are you going to make them calm down?" Magik asked Spark Plug bluntly, inviting her to put her money where her mouth was. She wanted to enjoy Sunshine and Max's fighting, but her head was pounding and she felt incredibly drained. Magik felt like she had cotton balls stuck in her ears and she reached up to feel around, to see if maybe some hair had gotten there, and she pulled her hand away after touching something wet and sticky. Her hands were covered in blood. "Huzzah. Now I can rule Russia..." she mumbled. She held up her hand, showing it to James. "It is a sign. I must kill Catherine the Great."

The door opened and Doctor Chan came back inside. James struck her as the most mature and responsible one in the group, so she handed him a bag filled with medicine. "The pills are the antiemetics, for the vomiting and nausea. They can have one every twelve hours. The tubes are the topical steroid, apply to whatever area looks weird three times each day. And the vial is morphine. Casper can't have any. They can have 10 miligrams at a time, every four hours as needed. I put a shit ton of needles in the bag, don't reuse them, if you need more come back here."

Sunshine frowned, titling her head. She heard a door slam open and someone scream at the front of the clinic. She walked forward and opened the door, peering out into the hallway just in time to see some sort of gas or smoke enveloping the hallway. A flaming bottle of vodka then shot through the mist and hit the ground ten feet in front of her, exploding violently.

"Catherine is here!" Magik exclaimed, pulling her Soulsword. Its light looked dim.

"Purifiers," Sunshine bet. Her eyes were starting to sting - in fact, everyone's eyes would feel like they had just dipped them in hot sauce. Sunshine's eyes started to well up with tears, but the pain just got worse, to the extent where she wanted to slam her head up against a wall just to get it to start.

"Tear gas, shit!" Doctor Chan identified.

"Owww!!!" Casper exclaimed, rubbing his eyes with his hands vigorously. "It's like being fucked in the eyes by the Taco Bell chihuahua!"

🐺 Asha Jabari 🐺

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Reception
Skills: Shapeshifting

There was only one slight problem with killing Helgi - he ran the hotel and Asha didn't want to have him as an outright enemy. They could have been degraded to the status of Hunding - well, probably not her, her father was the All-Father after all but Klara and Arnora didn't have that perk. "If you're going to kill him, it should be a crowded area at least - so he can't tell who did it," Asha reasoned. "Otherwise, all three of us will be stuck scrubbing toilets until Ragnarok comes and I do not need to see what the bowel movements of every einherji looks like. That'd be grody to the max."

Asha then leapt forward off of Klara's shoulder, transforming until she resembled an older white man with only one eye. She looked like the spitting image of Odin, the All-Father. While most people likely wouldn't dare to pretend to be Odin, Asha didn't really care. If it bothered her father, well, he could come and say that to her face - and even then she probably wouldn't stop. "Do I look convincing - like I could mansplain battlefield strategy to you all night while promoting my latest self help book on heroism?"

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Houston, Texas
Skills: Rainbow Manipulation

Leda rolled her eyes at Zeke. "If that's all the fire you've got left in you, Marysas is going to kill you," she told him pointedly. He was an incredibly irritating demigod, but still, Zeke's insults usually had a bit more effort to them. Maybe the son of Apollo was slipping. "Perhaps you ought to pray to your dear old dad for some divine inspiration - especially if you're going to challenge Marysas." Leda privately at this point figured Calliope would be best rescued if she just charged in and took care of things herself. She let her sword go back into pendant form, brushing monster dust off of herself.

They weren't that far from the comedy club. She smiled as they reached it, standing outside of the building. There wasn't anything noticeably weird about it and she tried the door, finding that it was locked. Leda felt like kicking the door down, but that meant they couldn't enter silently. Instead she tried to do a concentrated blast of rainbow light at the doorknob, but it didn't work - the door was still locked. "Oi, Wise Girl, it's locked." Maybe Kristin could figure it out - she was the daughter of Athena after all.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Junk Yard - Fargo, North Dakota
Skills: Daggers

"What's Tae mean?" Nancy asked Niah, assuming it was yet another piece of slang from the 21st century that made no sense at all. It sounded like tea to her and while she was vaguely aware that there was some expression to do with tea, her gut told her this wasn't it. At least from context, Nancy was willing to bet that tae was some sort of swear word - like, oh tae, I overslept! Her aggressively hyper active brain needed to refocus though. Niah and Madalyne had taken down two cyclopses. There were two left and Nancy twirled her imperial gold daggers, before erupting into a little bit of a frenzy.

She darted forward and slit the throat of the first cyclops in a clean sweep, monster dust spraying into the air after she finished the kill. Her eyes darted towards the one that was left alive and it was like every fiber of Nancy's body had awakened with a sense of purpose and serenity. She charged forward and brought up both daggers, criss crossing them over the monster's throat before pulling the daggers down, slicing the cyclops open. "Aww, is that all you pansies got?" Nancy pouted, kicking at some of the monster dust with her feet. "I was starting to have fun here!"
