Premise:

It's two days before the zombie outbreak, you are either enjoying your rather normal lives getting ready for school, or going to your long commute to work or just enjoying your day off. Going grocery shopping or going out on a date to Central Park with a cute or handsome person you found the night before at a bar. Life in city that never sleeps continues like normal really.

There have been a few weird stories of some riots going on in some third world country you probably never have heard of before. The government is sending humanitarian aid to them. There has been a few weird stories going out on some fringe websites saying that the world of coming to an end and the dead are rising, your basic weird conspiracy theories going on right? You might chuck it up as some weirdo making some weird stories and don't pay much mind to it really.

However the CDC has given some information on some new illness going around at some parts around world. Symptoms include a cough and high fever, bloodshot and or redness of the eyes and yellowing of the skin. However nothing in the US yet that are reported really yet anyway and are monitoring the situation as it unfolds. That at least is what the media is saying.

However in two days from now the world is going to end and the dead will be rising, where will you be when it happens? Will you try and survive on your own or will you find a group of people and try to survive and get out of the city with? Or will you become the next meal for the undead?

Events Thus Far:

• Some strange news stories of people being violent and in some cases have been reported biting one another.
• The outbreak has just begun.
• First Zombie encounter was by a first responder Janice Becker and her partner inside of a cafe.
• Second zombie encounter was made by Hermes entering his school's gym.
• Blackhawk Helicopters have been seen flying over the city.
• Third zombie encounter was by Flynn and Verity outside of Verity's business.
• Fourth Zombie encounter was by Kali Nordstrom and Isaac bin Kamaal, Flynn and Verity at his restaurant the Twin Seasons.
• Hermes' school was evacuated and was picked up by his cousin Mandy Mason and went to Mandy's home before taking Hermes' friend Hannah
  home.
• National Guard have been mobilized.
• Fifth zombie encounter was seen by Kaitlyn Carver and Waverly Watts while looking for other students and staff who werent able to evacuate the school and searching for Waverly's sister.
• Sixth zombie encounter Mandy, Hermes and Hannah were outside of Hannah's apartment to drop her off, an elderly man was hit by a driver and a zombie was able to be subdued by cops and paramedics on scene.
• The military have been called in, and the state governor has enacted martial law, and begun evacuating certain parts of the city.
• Seventh zombie encounter by Waverly, Kaitlyn and Juniper M. Mayfield in their apartment's garage before leaving.
• Eight zombie encounter, Flynn, Verity and Flynn's friend Gus at his auto repair shop, they managed to lock it into the garage of the workshop itself, and are getting ready to leave the city in an mrap in Gus' auto workshop.
• Mandy, her parents, and Hermes plan on leaving the city.
• Kaitlyn, Waverly and Juniper are currently at Waverly's Underground Radio Station

Rules

*Rules are enforced and you will be removed if you break them.

• Applications:
  • Post the CS in the OOC for review.
  • Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
  • Choose a faceclaim for your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images - not drawings.
  • The GM can refuse a concept for any reason, yet will generally work with you to fix up the character until they can be accepted.
  • Talk to the GM if you want your character to have established connections (i.e. if this were a Harry Potter RP and you wanted to be Fudge's goddaughter, talk to the GM in advance for approval).
  • GM approved character sheets should be posted in a hider in the Char tab.
  • The GM will check posting history / previous RPs - you've been warned.
  • Once CS's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
  • Under Extras in your CS please post a link to a post you have done in the past to show you have read the rules. If You submit a CS without this it may be declined.

• Post Content
  • No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy from the 1950s, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
  • Nudity needs to be run by the GM before posting. In general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
  • Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
  • The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
• Posting & General Behavior
  • Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
  • If you need an extension or you're struggling - or even if you just aren't certain what to do - please reach out to the GM! Communication is key.
  • All posts are backed up on the back up forum after they have been posted - the GM will provide the link for this forum. It only takes a few seconds and it ensures all your hard work is preserved!
  • You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 8 days ago you will be removed from the RP.
  • If you need an extension, ask!! Extensions should be requested no matter than when your last post reads as 6 days ago. If an emergency comes up on day 7, of course come and talk to us - we'll be more than happy to work something out. It's very rare that an extension request is denied.

  • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
  • The GM reserves the right to make decisions as to how much additional time, if any, will be granted to post if the forum is glitching. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two. But usually, I do tend to be pretty generous about it...

Location: Limbo, Witchfire's Castle -> NYC, Steps of the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Madalyne nodded at Annika as she pocketed the blooded bead that she had given her, she waved to the group just as the portal closed behind Annika leaving her alone now. She wasn't sure why Annika called Ananym a friend after she had ordered Sym to kill her father right in front of her. She looked at his body once more and took a sigh as she was about to kneel down to carry his body out of the room to find a place to burry Ed's body. Then something strange started to happen as Madalyne looked around the room she noticed more stepping discs started to suddenly appear. She quickly went to a nearby window to see more of them and hordes of demons started to go through them all when she realized that they had done what. Ananym probably wanted to do in the first place they had destroyed the veil protecting Earth from Limbo.

Madalyne knew that she needed to try and fix things, the others were in the Everdark to deal with things there, she quickly made her way through the stepping disc portal and landed on the steps right in front of the Sanctum Sanctorum. It was complete chaos in front of her as she could see demons flying in the, and various things like mail boxes coming to life trying to attack civilians. Madalyne quickly dug into the pockets of the Cloak of Levitation and pulled out the letter. She was still in her demon form and if Wong was still in there she didn't want him to attack her or anything as she quickly tried to open the door.

Carolina Reed

Location: Limbo, Witchfire's Castle, Creepy Library -> NYC, Times Square.

Carolina stumbled through the portal and landed on the streets of New York City, she sighed in relief as she made it back home, however she could hear screaming all around her. And like something out of a horror movie chaos was all around her seeing demons in the streets and in the air, and various inanimate objects taking a life of their own and tried to attack people all around her. Carolina wasnt sure if Ananym was still behind her or not, but she knew she needed to get to safety as soon as possible.

Then she remembered the letter and knew that she needed to get to the Sanctum Sanctorum to try and repair the veil and stop the demons from pouring in any further. She had never actually been inside the Sanctum before but she had seen it numerous times whenever she was in the city and knew that it was at least an hour long walk over there and quickly started to head down that direction.

Diana was glad that her brother was alright as she looked over at him. "I'll see you later alright?" She said towards him as her attention turned to Zelda as she managed to come out from the haunted house. "Cassie Lang entered the haunted house shortly before me and she hasn't come out yet like the others have." Diana answered her it seemed that Vicky was hesitating on going in or something to try and save her sister. If Percy was stuck in there she would have immediately gone in and try to save him if she could, Cassie was a friend anyway she turned to Vicky. "See if you can get Madalyne she's good with magic and stuff." Diana suggested to Vicky, the haunted house was clearly enchanted and she knew that Mads was a magic user.

"I'll join you guys." Diana said as America made one of her portals she wasn't sure what was actually on the other side or if she would end up pumping into another one of her evil counterparts while she was inside the haunted house again. Diana quickly stepped through the portal itself and landed on a brick road near some woods, and noticed a castle in the distance she wasn't sure where she was now or if she was inside the haunted house or not.

Madalyne smiled as she watched Leah, Sabine and April all headed up to the stage to get themselves crowned when Danni decided to practically pounce on her and hug her tightly. She didn't mind getting hugs but Danni was hugging her way to tightly as she looked at him. "Your crushing me Danni.." Madalyne said when he let go of her she took in a deep breath as she rubbed her arm slightly and looked at him as she thought for a moment. Madalyne wasn't sure if the teachers would even allow that at all really, she was happy for her friends especially for April.

"We could do something special for them lets see what they want to do later." Madalyne said to Danni as she took a few of the small cupcakes and took a bite out of them, they were really good as she looked at Danni. "It does sound like a fun idea though." Madalyne said giving Danni a friendly smile.

Damon looked at the others he wasn't sure who Nancy was but he assumed that she was a friend to some of the people here at camp and knowing that they had lost someone just moments ago. Damon made his way towards Niah and gently rested a hand on her shoulder knowing that loss was always hard, he hand lost his quest mates when he was trapped in the Labyrinth. "I didn't know her for very long but she seemed to be a great person." He said to her, he turned to Jason noting that he was pretty quiet. "Are you alright?" He asked Jason.

Persephone looked at Andy usually a quest of Three was always the prime number there was a large number of them here right now, she knew that a Giant was in the area and she'd help with their quest. "I'll help out wherever you all need it we should get going now." She said to them as she started to head up the trail slowly.

Kiera turned to look at Sera and smiled at her. "Theres enough room in there for Hercules trust me." Kiera said, she had been living in her cabin by herself for awhile now. Leda of course always did spend a few nights a week with her much to Coach Hedge's annoyance, she looked at her father she was glad that he had arranged transport for them to get back to camp. "Thanks dad." Kiera said to him as she finished up with the rest of her food. "We should get going now the sooner the better." She said as Poseidon nodded to his daughters. "I'll walk you all to the carriage then." Poseidon said as he led his two daughters down and out of the palace where a carriage drawn by four hippocampi.

Hercules was seen standing by the carriage feeding the hippocampi some seaweed that he had found and turned to look at the two daughters of Poseidon and smiled at them. "I'm ready are you two ready? I never been to the camp before everyone says its a lot nicer." He told them as Kiera smiled. "It really is nice you two will love it there." She said as she started to make her way over towards the carriage and got inside while holding the door open for her half-sister. Hercules was a little to large to fit inside and decided to climb on top of it.

Kristin felt really bad for Nancy she wished that there was some way to try and help her out or something, they needed to focus on the mission at hand still. Alexios was in thought for a moment as he looked over at Nancy knowing now that she had just lost a friend of hers, he knew the quest that they were going on. "There might be a way to save your friend, you all are looking for the Doors of Death right?" He said as he looked at Nancy. "You could simply walk through them and enter Tartarus itself that way. But it's very dangerous for mortals to go through only two have come out of there alive." Alexios told her, it might be a one way trip. Kristin thought about Alexios' proposal she knew the two had come out of Tartarus alive were Percy and Annabeth years ago. "It's up to you if you want to do that." Kristin said she'd help if Nancy asked.

Aron looked at the two of them. "Well about time you two showed up." He said shaking his head slightly as he briefly got out from cover and fired off a few shots managing to tag three people before going back down and Anya doing the same thing as well to. "So whats the plan newbie?" Anya asked looking at Cassian, there was a few ways that they could flank them through some cover.

Sierra turned to look at Willow as she approached her and blushed slightly as she looked the girl in the eyes, she had to admit that she didn't see her approaching and asking her out on a date and smiled. She was attracted to Willow but with everything that had been going on in the last few days she didn't really think about it much.. "I'd actually like that a lot." Sierra said as she quickly leaned in and gave Willow a loving kiss as she continued to hold her hand.

Gabriella looked at Megan as she got down on one knee and proposed to her, she smiled as she knelt down and pulled Megan into a passionate kiss. "I would love you to be my queen we have a lot to plan for then my love." She said as she gently ran a hand through Megan's hair, Arthur smiled at his daughter he was glad that she had found someone.

Merlin took the lamp and looked it once over as he turned his attention towards the group some of them wanted to return to their normal lives which was understandable. "It'll take sometime to figure something out but i'll be able to make it work it'll take a lot of magic to create something to allow you all to come and go as you please." Merlin said, but it was something that was doable actually and if the others that wanted to stay they could have that option as well to.

Prologue One Month Later..

It took a little bit over a month everyone was invited to Camelot in order to celebrate the marriage between Megan Pendragon and her new wife. There was a lot of dancing, music and drinking to be had as just about everyone from around Arcadia came to the wedding and all of the guests presented gifts to the newly weds as well to.

Merlin had spent most of that time but he was able to create some enchanted rings for everyone, and handed them all out to each of the kids. The rings would be able to transport them to and from Arcadia to Earth whenever they chose to come and visit their friends and family from both worlds.

Layla: Layla ultimately chose to stay in Arcadia she wanted to spend as much time as she could with her father, him and his merry men spent a lot of time helping those who needed it and rebuilt their destroyed homes or retaking towns from a few of Maleficent's remaining forces scattered around the countryside. Layla would occasionally come home and visit her sister and Rose whenever she could between fights against other threats.

Jack: Jack ultimately chose to stay in Arcadia as well to, and one day was approached by Merlin seeing the potential in the son of Rumpelstiltskin, and he offered to teach him and bring him on as an apprentice. Seeing as he needed to eventually pass on his knowledge onto someone else and he was the perfect candidate.

Rosalia: Rosalia was approached both by her parents Rapunzel and Flynn, they both offered her a place in their home if she chose to stay with them or not. Rosalia was given the ring to come and go as she pleased much like all of the others did, but it was completely up to her on what she wanted to do.

Megan & Gabriella: Megan and Gabriella are both happily married together now, it took a few more weeks but Lancelot was eventually able to make a full recovery from his injuries. He approached her one day and offered to train her under his wing and took her on as his personal squire. It would take sometime but Megan would become a full knight and upon King Arthur and Queen Queen Guineveres passing the title of Queen would go to Megan as well.

Cassiopeia & Rose: Cassi and Rose are happily dating now and they both chose to return to their normal lives back on Earth, but with the enchanted rings Merlin had given the two of them they could come and go as they pleased. Red Rose's mother stayed with Robin Hood's men and they would occasionally help with retaking some land as well between that and spending time with her sister Layla.

Mathew & Colby: Colby and Mathew are still happily dating one another they returned to Wonderland with their fathers the Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat, it took sometime but they were able to retake the land from the Queen of Hearts was eventually ousted. After the land was retaken there were constant tea parties pretty much daily and life was normal in Wonderland once again.

Sierra & Willow: Sierra and Willow would start happily dating each other, though the relationship was long distance but Sierra would always come and visit Willow and her mother. Life in Atlantica was back to normal as well, and the two kingdoms between Aurora's and Atlantica became very close allies.

Life in Arcadia slowly started to return to normal with pockets of Malfecient's followers around the world rumors however started to circulate that they were now following Rumple. With rumored sightings around Arcadia but nothing concrete though some of them had their magic removed, the land was still full of magic and mystery. He would one day make a return and continue what Maleficent had started but only time would tell.

Bethany groaned when she couldn't use her powers to blind Cortez at all which was really annoying as she ignored Robert's yelling but she kept her eyes on the walls seeing that Mary was using her powers to manipulate the plants and keeping the walls in place. If Magneto's powers continued to go out of control she didn't want to end up being sucked out into space or something like that. Bethany decided to try another tactic on Cortez as she extended her hand outward towards him.

She tried to use her powers and bring him down to his knees only for nothing to happen, she wasn't sure if it was because of Cortez or not, but she tried again. It did work however her aim was off and instead she ended up targeting Max, and accidentally yanked him and dragged him across the floor slightly. "Sorry didn't mean to do that." Bethany said to Max, luckily he still seemed to have control over his power still.

Carolina tried to possess Cortez she briefly had him for a second only for her to be forcefully ejected out of Cortez's body, normally she would have returned back to her body if someone managed to force her out. But something was off as Carolina found herself floating around the room. She watched as everyone continued to fight against Cortez, she winced slightly when Bethany accidentally used her powers on Max. She tried to swoop in and possess Cortez again however nothing happened at all.

She tried again and the same thing happened again as she flew through Cortez's body and how the other end and nothing happened again, she knew that he was most likely using his powers against her. She hoped that Guin would be able to try and take control of Cortez or someone else would be able to take him out as she floated there.

Madalyne closed her eyes as she got glimpses of the others pasts, both Max and Jack would get a glimpse from one of her childhood memories, it was back when she was three years old and she was trick or treating with her half sister, her mother Amara and Edus. They were all having fun she was dressed up as a witch funnily enough at the time. She shook her head slightly when the portal was opened, as Madalyne started to think about it and turned to Annika who seemed to want to stay behind. "Go with the others, i'll stay behind. I can handle this place more anyway." Madalyne said, she had been in Limbo once before in the past and could handle the dangers here and she could pass for a demon here anyway.

She looked at her father's body once more she wanted to give him a proper send off and she didn't want to leave his body like this for some demon to mess with. If they can recruit Magik to help prevent Ananym's plans she could bring her back hopefully once everything is all said and done, she also wanted to try and hunt S'ym down and get her revenge for Ed's death as well to. "I'll find the other woman that Ananym took and the rest of you try and find Magik and bring her back here and hopefully I should be back home." Madalyne suggested she knew that the Rule of Three was important and she didn't want anyone else to get hurt either.

Carolina quickly started to scan around for any useful books, they all looked very ancient and all of them were in very old languages that she didn't know, nor had time to try and translate any of it really. There were a few hiding spots she could try and hide under some tables, or behind some nearby bookshelves. She turned to look over her shoulder and hid behind a nearby shelf when she heard Ananym's voice as she burst out of the room carrying Strange's corpse around with her. She also spotted three tigers that were summoned and started to sniff around for her. Which she couldnt fight against as Carolina started to panic slightly as she kept moving forward until she spotted one of those stepping discs.

Carolina looked over her shoulder once more as she thought about it, staying in a library with three tigers and her demonic ex girlfriend trying to hunt her down. Or step through the disc, and enter some other place within Limbo she didn't want to stay in here any longer than she needed to, and hopefully get as much distance as possible from Ananym. Carolina sighed to herself and decided to just make the blind jump through the portal and hoped that the portal would transport her somewhere safe and went through.

Diana was really happy to see that her little brother was alive and well, the haunted house felt so real she could feel every time her evil twin stabbed her. She held the hug a little bit longer until she felt someone else hug her from behind causing Diana to jump slightly and she turned around to see that it was just Dorian. "Don't jump on me like that after being scared in that damn haunted house.." Diana said as she would let out a slightly annoyed sigh. All that mattered right now was that her brother was still alive and well which was good then, she just wanted to enjoy the rest of the night.

Diana noticed that Cassie was still inside of the haunted house, she really didn't want to go back in there, but she knew Cassie and wanted to help out her friend. "I'll go in with you guys if you need my help." Diana offered to Kate and America, then she paused when Diana heard Headmaster Coulson's voice as he started the announcements for the evening. Diana couldn't help but smile she was glad that their team had made it on this year. She then looked at her brother there might be a point during the contest that she'd could end up fighting against her brother. Diana was happy to know that April had won Savior of the Avenger's Academy, along with Leah and Sabine.

Madalyne looked at Danni for a moment as he suddenly started to go on a tangent about Swift Wind and his connection to She-Ra in the show which made her smile slightly and shake her head. He was always like that for as long as she had known him since she came to this school, she leaned back slightly as she looked at all of her friends at the table. When Coulson stepped up and started to make the announcements for the evening for the teams going into the Contest of Champions. Madalyne couldn't help but smile as she looked over at April their team was officially in now.

Along with the rest of their little friend group as Madalyne looked at everyone there, she wasn't sure what to think about going up against all of their friends if they ended up having to fight one another. Then Coulson announced the Saviors this year as Madalyne looked at April, Sabine and Leah and smiled at the three of them she was actually really happy for the three of them. "Congrats you guys!" Madalyne said happily to the three of them it would be interesting to see the three of them dancing all together.
