Do not be fooled by her girlish charms, just because she behaves like a lady and has a sweet smile doesn't mean she cannot run with the best of them. She can be described as a balanced type of individual, sporty, and athletic in school she's a regular in gymnastics and her middle school soccer team it doesn't mean she doesn't like to take the time to get dressy and be a girl. She's not really a tomboy, just an individual with many different traits about her. She jokes that people forget that people are individualistic. She is quite academic as well, appearing intelligent and getting good grades in school. Though don't ignore her delicate side. She can be nurturing, compassionate and empathize with others or sympathize when she cannot understand what they are going through. Some would say she's a little mature for her age, but she had to be when she doesn't live with her parents and started living on her own more independently. Independent and fierce, she is grounded in who is she and she wants to be. Nothing seems to shake her, besides spiders, and maybe centipedes blegh. She likes glitz and glam, just as much as any girl, but she also doesn't mind a ruffle and tumble either. Atticus Rose

Ethnicity: Japanese
Personality: A dedicated and simple man, he became an investigator to protect the victims in the ghoul incidents. Some would call him a ghoul sympathiser, but this isn't entirely true. He views some ghouls just as much as victims as the regular people they prey upon, and isn't beyond turning a blind eye to those he genuinely believes are trying to make the situation between ghoul and human better rather than worse.
Background: Becoming an investigator at the age of 19, he has been working with the CCG a good long while, and has become a trusted operative of the organisation and a good friend with most of the force. After a tragic incident involving his first partner, he has been working alongside Decker for 6 years. He met his wife shortly after, and almost a year into their relationship, he found out she was a ghoul. Unable to stop his feelings for her, the two remained together on opposite sides in the conflict, trying to find a resolution that works for both factions.
Quinque: Last Supper - Reflecting his simple but open personality, his Quinque completely ineffective at first - taking the form of a three foot long pole without any other markings. This can unfurl into a gaping maw, however, that can lunge forward and bite chunks out of enemy ghouls. In doing so, the Quinque temporarily mimics the form of the ghoul's Kakuhou, with multiple bites of different ghouls allowing for the weapon to switch between several forms. It loses this ability again roughly two hours after ingesting the organic material, but will decrease faster with extended use of that form.James Decker

Personality: Hard nosed and bitter about most things, Decker can be a hard man to get on with. Becoming an investigator after going through the police homicide division, he pursued the career change simply because he was good at it. Seeking justice through whatever means necessary, he backs Atticus up on operations.
Background: A drunk who lost his family to a human with various mental illnesses, he decided to leave the police force behind in favour of a new battleground where things are much more black and white, in his eyes. A good friend of Atticus - despite his prickly personality. He hasn't said anything, but is suspicious of his partner due to a number of inexplicable scars resembling ghoul attacks.
Quinque: Pinprick - A long-range Quinque, it takes the form of a large and high-calibre rifle, firing foot-long shards with pin-point accuracy. He uses it to back Atticus's close range style from a distance, covering all angles.Mirriam Graye

Personality: Cold and cunning, Mirriam is someone you don't want to piss off. Taking great pride in her work, she enjoys keeping the streets clean of live ghouls and leaving bloodstains in her wake. Never one to strike unless she knows it will cause maximum effect - not just when dealing with ghouls, but in social situations as well - she is definitely one to watch.
Background: Having served in the CCG since her mind-twenties, she is by far one of the most dangerous operatives in the Japanese branches. Her record is so effective that the higher-ups have commissioned a better Quinque for her on every 100 confirmed ghouls kills, and she is now on her eighth one. There is no tragic loss in her past to bring on her love of killing, just a slightly demented child who enjoyed kicking cats and strapping hamsters to fireworks. She's always had a dark streak - the CCG just know how to bring out the 'best' in her.
Quinque: Fell Swoop - She has a number of wildly different Quinques, but this is her favourite by a mile. Lovely calling it the Fell Swoop (given that CCG investigators are called Doves), it resembles a large scythe. It can be used just like this, and usually will for the first few moments in a fight, until Mirriam sees fit to unleash its true strength. Flicking a lever on the hilt, the pole will extend to five times the usual length. The blade will also split into five fragments, each one evenly spaced out along the pole. From the end of the regular length, the pole can bend and twist freely, making a large scythe whipblade. While almost impossible to control at first, Mirriam has long since mastered the finer nuances of the weapon. Its most brutal use comes when flicking the lever back, causing the weapon to retract back into its normal scythe form. She does this when trapping a ghoul between two of the blades. The result, is that the victim will be completely sliced in two.
