The Kirby River. There are ports for Westman Chemical Corp. closed off to the general public. This will only leave about 2/3rds of the river for the rest of us as Westman Chemical is HUGE and will take up at least 1/5th of the city's size with it's many divisions. We'll go ahead and say Universal Ave. will have a landmark bridge going across it at some point to continue being one of the 'longest streets in America.' 'Port Morrison' sounded good too @Rin!

EDIT: Gotta get ready for work. I'll be back online in about eight hours or so to check in. I'm off work tomorrow and next week I'll be house sitting at my in-laws but I'll still have this spare laptop. Dunno what my work schedule will be though until later today...

Edited it into my last response. We'll create them as we go when needed for the bigger storylines. As far as who your heroes and villains face in battle... thats up to you unless we make a pool of enemies and rogue superhumans.

Completely got mixed up at 3 am, should've been the Appalachians... I'll fix that now...

As for characters just one primary for now but if we need supporting superhuman roles we can create them as we need them for our own stories and such. Depending on the type of superhuman determines whether or not they'll need a smaller CS made so they call also be used elsewhere. For example we wouldn't need one for a Pepper Potts type of character or a characters' girlfriend/boyfriend or spouse, but somebody that could also be used elsewhere by another player like an enemy or shady corporation rep would need a little more fleshing out. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Archetype: Feral Man/Woman
Name: Jacob 'JD' Donovan
Alias: Dark Wolf
Age: 29
Powers: Due to a curse in his bloodline some one hundred and thirty years ago, Dark Wolf is the latest humanoid werewolf with black and gray fur to bare the burden with feral senses, claws, and enhanced physical attributes. In his wolf form JD stands roughly six feet three inches tall but tends to lean down and forward. Gains an additional seventy-five pounds of muscle, several pounds of hair, as well as a tail and has an accelerated healing factor but nothing like Wolverine or Deadpool. In civilian form he's only about five feet nine inches tall and one hundred and eighty pounds.
Weaknesses: Silver. The wolf also isn't as powerful in the day as he is the night.
Alignment: Walking the line, he could potentially maim or kill an enemy
Personality: [Wolf] Impulsive, protective, wild [Human] Honest, depressed
Appearance:

His fur would be a deep shade of gray with some black, usually in ripped up jeans or khakis.

BRIEF Bio:
JD is an average guy who suffers depression due to the curse in his blood that turns him into a wolf like humanoid form. He lead a fairly normal life with his divorced/drunk father until he hit puberty and starting showing the signs of becoming a wolf. When an argument with his father caused them both to transform JD defended himself and killed the man. He had barely finished high school, convincing his few friends his father had just left him to fend for himself. He's wandered the eastern United States the last decade working odd jobs Bill Bixby style and come across several other monster like superhumans in Florida [possible Atlantian?], Tennessee, Philladelphia, and NYC.
Storylines: Hero vs Hero, something akin to Wolverine vs Hulk or Moon Knight vs Werewolf by Night
Notes: I just wanted something a little more feral and supernatural with this hero.

Welcome to New Athens, a city of adventure and intrigue. In New Athens, a hero is made every day and a villain every night. A thriving metropolis, New Athens is a modern city, built in the Appalachian Mountains of the eastern United States. Over the years the city thrived with coal mining being it's main source of revenue however New Athens quickly became a leading industrial city on the eastern 'States with several noteworthy corporations' factories and plants. Westman Chemical Plant, Napier Valley Ammunition Plant, Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, and Wells Helicopter are just a few of the reasons people choose to live and work in the grand city of tomorrow. The Olympian Gazette is widely known for its stories of new superhumans and celebrities, as well as the general local news. Midtown is where most of the action is, as well as the Mercury Mall. Subdivisions, landmarks, and schools include Lee Heights, the Kirby River, Shuster Elementary School, Universal Avenue [one of the longest streets in America], Simon Middle School, Kubert High School, Riverview [ghetto subdivision], Highland Park, Warpath State Park [in the mountains], the Museum of Tomorrow [tech museum], etc. The city sees a number of tourists as well, all trying to get a glimpse of superhumans in action. New Athens has more superhumans than any other major metropolitan city in America with a general population of over three hundred and sixty thousand residents with an estimated fifteen thousand superhumans possibly within city limits. And who are these superhumans?

That's where you guys come in. This RP idea is to build a universe but not necessarily a team right off the bat unless the lot of you wants to. We'll mostly be basing our characters off of Marvel archetypes just because they have a wider range of possibilities. Spots are still available and I'll add new types of archetypes as we move forward I'd like to see adapted into the game. Right now several of them are listed under Wildcards for lack of a better term as I didn't want to get super specific when determining the archetypes for this. Available Archetypes and Marvel examples include:

@The Kid Lantern Before I finish my sheet, I have a question. I know this is a create-a-world thing, so seeing as Radiance is an alien, do I have some freedom to determine her home world? I have ideas, and these ideas could potentially pan out for story arcs, just wondering before I do her back story.
