Powers/Primary Skills - Daxamite physiology gives him near Kryptonian level abilities after contact with yellow suns such as enhanced physical attributes and sensory powers, as well as solar heat vision and a solar flare that some Daxamites possess.

Weaknesses - Lead can poison the Daxam native and he can be over powered by stronger opponents. Red suns as well as red solar radiation can deplete his solar reserves, same as the once great Superman. Magic also effects him with ease, as does some alien technology. Sol is also capable of being attacked mentally.

Brief Bio -

One year ago, in 2999, the Legion of Superheroes was stabbed in the back by one of their own. Brainiac 5 finally succumbed to the evil reprogramming in the back of his conscience left there by the original Brainiac of the 21st century.On that day several Legionnaires lost their lives. On his way out of sector 2814, Vril Dox/Brainiac 5 believed taking out the planet Daxam would ensure no other super-adversaries such as Mon-El would stand against him. The techno organism set a chain of events into motion that would destroy much of the world and population. Seeing heroes such as Ultra Boy, Phantom Girl, and others give their lives inspired one survivor named Sol-Us to take up the reigns as the new Ultra Boy.

After escaping death and entering the Milky Way Galaxy, Sol was given powers like others of Daxam and Krypton origin. Taking up the costumed identity of Ultra Boy after witnessing the longtime Legion member die saving several Daxamites, Sol has been giving it his all to remain on the radar of any surviving Legion members.

Notes -

* Daxam has been destroyed. There's maybe one or two starships full of maybe 250 passengers total making the race all but completely extinct. The original Ultra Boy as well as the Daxam native Mon-El, and Phantom Girl, all died trying to save the planet. Sol is the only one to have made it into the Milky Way Galaxy.

* I'm gonna dig into Sol's past in the context of the RP. What his life was like before Brainiac 5 caused massive quakes and natural disasters that ripped his planet apart...

* Though he's more accepting, coming from a xenophobic world has Sol being the most uncomfortable around the speedster Xudarian. For most of his life Sol hadn't met another alien other than his fellow Daxamites.

* Sol's signature move is based on New52 Superman's that was based on an attack used by New52 Supergirl rather frequently without draining her solar reserves.

The Legion of Superheroes were once the defenders of the United Planets that spanned across various space sectors. Founded by three young superpowered individuals, their numbers grew for years. Until one day their smartest member, Brainiac 5, finally gave in to the evil in the back of his programming. The original Brainiac from the 21st century implanted the young hero with a techno virus during a battle with Superman and the Legion that spanned the timeline, where Superman believed he successfully destroyed the ancient technological juggernaut. The now augmented physical and technological powers and abilities of the once great Legionnaire is enough to overthrow even the United Planets after successfully wiping out more than half of the members of the Legion.

Now the remaining Legionnaires attempt to rise from the ashes to take back the cosmos. Brainiac 5, the Persuader, and the Sun Killer all stand in their way during this campaign.

The stats are mostly for the battling. While we're still telling a story from our heroes POV, the battles will give each scene more weight when we're put in situations we can barely overcome if at all. You'll control your characters once I set up the battles as well as the enemies you fight to a degree. If any fights are too one sided I'll post using the enemies more to level the playing field. I'm thinking with every 5 posts in-game when you earn a stat point and level up your health stat will reset. That should make it more fair when we're surrounded by half a dozen enemies.

Here's a breakdown of how the system works:

STAT Breakdowns

The stats for this game will include:

I.Q. - (how strong your characters are mentally, for example Brainiac would have a pretty high I.Q. where a rookie's would be less. Average human/alien would be 2.) IQ will determine if your Signature move is worth double [IQ set at 1-5] or triple [IQ set at 6-10] hp.

Strength - (1-5 has -1 damage, 6-10 has -2 damage) Average human strength would be set at 2, only characters with heightened or super strength should increase higher! EDIT: However, one could view your strength as the strength of your attacks!

Speed - (1-3 has 3 attacks per post, 4-7 has 4 attacks available, 8-10 has 5 attacks) Speed NOW also effects Defense in the same way Attack is effected by Strength. 1-5 speed regains +1 health, 6-10 is +2 health.

Attack - (number of attacks) Each player will have melee attacks that are not included on your attack stat including basic punches and kicks and alien tail swipes or bites. Attack is for things like heat vision, throw, generic super speed attack, etc...

Defense - (number of defense moves, each can be used twice per battle. If your defense is 2 and the battle lasts 4 posts you can use 4 defense moves. If the battle rages on for 7 posts you are still limited to only 4 defensive moves total in that case. Defense can't block a signature attack!)

Health - (IQ+strength+speed+defense) Health is also reset every 5 posts!

*Signature moves awarded at Level 3 do double or triple damage depending on IQ. The attack/defense itself should include your metahuman ability. The only defense against a signature attack is a signature defense that can also be a move based on your metahuman ability. Signature Defense is also the only defense you can use to help another player directly in-game from an enemy attack be it a regular attack or signature attack! At the moment you can only have one or the other, Signature Attack or Signature Defense.

Now... that's not a lot of info at all really. As far as stats go, I know once you have 6 points on strength some of you might ask "what's the point of having strength or speed any higher?" and the simple answer is writing limitations. If a character like Superman has 6 strength and a God like Zeus walks by with a strength of 8, in the context of the story Zeus would of course be viewed as stronger. Same thing applies for speed.

Power Class - you earn a stat point/level for every 5 posts in-character.

Level 1 - 16 points - 1-5 posts
Level 2 - 17 points - 6-10 posts
Level 3 - 18 points (plus signature attack or defense!) - 11-15 posts
Level 4 - 19 points - 16-20 posts
Level 5 - 20 points - 21-25 posts
Level 6 - 21 points - 26-30 posts
Level 7 - 22 points - 31-35 posts
Level 8 - 23 points - 36-40 posts
Level 9 - 24 points - 41-45 posts
Level 10 - 25 points 46-50 posts

If the game lasts long enough, and it might, we'll go beyond Level 10 and probably continue on to Level 15. Boss stats will be Level 15 to Level 20 with stats between 30-35 points making a team effort to defeat the enemy a must.

Here's an example of a stat card. Superman, although he should be a Level 15 or 20, is a Level 10 enemy with only a few of his powers and abilities shown in his attacks and defenses lists. This should show that even if you have a ton of powers, unless you place the stat points in attack or defense, you can only use the attacks and defenses listed while in battle. Superman is in the second strength class and in the second or third speed class. Had he been a Level 15 or 20 he'd have had the freeze breath and other classic attacks.
